Politics › Re: Borno Government Bans Sale Of Alcohol, Brothels, Charcoal And Firewood by NaMeAboki: 8:59pm On Jan 12, 2017
Blue3k:
Sorry have to nit pick. No state has banned alcohol sale or consumption. There has been a few counties that have banned sale. Prohibition on Federal and state level ended badly. Led to creation of mafia bootleggers.

I don't intend to drag too much on this; however, even without referring to your link; notice how you seem to have contradicted yourself i.e. having already said that no state banned alcohol, then immediately went ahead to confirm the existence of prohibition at federal and STATE level.

Emekamex:
If various states can have their own laws, why was Fayose condemned by the north and some APC folks for banning grazing?
It is therefore clear to say that each state should be allowed to make and implement its own laws regardless the feelings of other citizens in different regions.
Has it ever occurred to you that, that is exactly the reason why every state has its own House of Assembly: to make its own laws according to the needs and interest of its citizens; as long as such laws do not clash with the constitution or Federal laws.

Has it ever occurred to you that any state, region or country that experienced war (such as Borno State) is considerably vulnerable to moral decay and dislocation e.g. prostitution, drugs, crimes of violence etc?

Do you also know that Borno is currently being inundated with fake medicinal drugs; while above mentioned vices are already rearing their heads?
What the government is trying to do is to nip the problem in the bud before it gets out of hand.

Do you also know that at one time many of the states in the USA banned alcohol for similar reasons - google prohibition in the USA?

For example: Nigeria never had a significant problem of armed robbery until after the civil war; suddenly civilians including ex-fighters began to have access to the surplus weapons from the war and many particularly from the SE took to armed robbery - a problem which it has remained with that region ever since.

Pls try to be object and not allow sentiments to unduly influence your judgement.

Typical ashawo brain; you just confirmed Kanu's statement about your ilk.

Well, FYI, our women and particularly our mothers in this part of the country do not hawk their precious womanhood like groundnuts, in the manner that (according to Kanu) 99.9% of you prostitutes shamefully do.

BTW, pls pray tell; how many phalluses did your mom sucked and screwed for cash to sponsor your apparent poor education - judging from above poorly constructed statement.

This is useless Monkey is making his case worse..

For the record, He is not being tried in secret as he and his illiterate followers are spreading about ...The Fed Govt, only applied to the court, to have their witnesses shielded from the public....(In this case, Kanu and his lawyers will stiil see and cross examine them), which the court granted..

The Fraudster, called kanu, having being advised by his lawyers that, he has a very bad case with the quantum of evidence in the possession of the FG, has now resorted to throwing tantrum like a kid being lined up for punishing....thinking, his emotional outburst will change the Judge'mind...in convicting and sentencing him to death by HANGING....

Kanu is really a Coward...

Guy you are just a hypocrite.

People like you always turn blind eyes to killings of christians but in a hurry to discountenance media reports of murderous rampages by your Fulani militia terrorists.

So go and sleep cos jihadists like you are devoid of sensible reasoning.
Pls I have no time for small boys just weaned off breast milk of irrational hate and bigotry - come back when you grow up and are ready to discuss maturely.

You guys can continue to feel fly cos you won the presidency with powers attached to muscle the downtrodden, dissent, opposition and push northern agenda but the media war? It's a NO NO.

The mainstream media and social will continue to expose evils taking place under this government until there is total reversal of such wickedness.
It is obvious that you are still suffering from the hangover of election failure; pls come back when you have sufficiently recovered and we can have an objective discussion.

To paraphrase you,'LOL COARSE INSTEAD OF CAUSE',if you were that good a scholar of English, you would have KNOWN and used the correct WORD they were searching for 'COERCE' and not interject your own CAUSE in to their sentence,it's that simple..like I said,it's a SPELLING mistake not a WORD mistake..
Maybe you need a crash course on the word BIGOT,if you don't see the irony of you calling another a bigot after your comment on the pensioners and then alluding their mistake to their REGION..
Unlike YOU,I have NEVER referred to nor DENIGRADE your region in the course of my comments,it's all good and fine trying to come off high and mighty..
Indeed, you can take a horse to the water but cannot force it to drink.

I shall therefore indulge you this last time but will longer continue arguing in an endless circle over a single point that had clearly been exhaustively dealt with - simply because of a blocked mindset that stubbornly refuses to comprehend it.

For the sake of clarity, I will suggest that you use the word 'cause' in the sentence in question and then explain to me why you should think that the said sentence is both grammatically and contextually incorrect; as well as not consistent with the message the pensioners were trying to convey - otherwise, pls just shut up.

BTW, a spelling mistake is a mistake that affects only the letters in a word; whereas a word mistake involves the substitution of the entire word for another - just like in the case at hand (which IMO is quite irrelevant in this issue).

Finally, the word you were looking for was DENIGRATE not DENIGRADE - a good example of a spelling mistake.
Politics › Re: Rivers Christian Leaders Protest Soutern Kaduna Killings - Pictures by NaMeAboki: 8:19pm On Jan 08, 2017
It is unfortunate how a communal dispute, initially between two over a grazing incident, has quickly been hijacked politically and now being turned into a Christian vs Muslim religious dispute.
Now how do they expect ordinary citizens not to be sucked in and to take sides along their religious beliefs?
Politics › Re: He Untold Story Of The Systematic Genocide Of Muslim In Southern Kaduna Part 1 by NaMeAboki: 8:05pm On Jan 08, 2017
There are always two sides to a story; unfortunately we never get to hear the other side until now.
Interestingly even though the story is replete with specific instances and went as far as to identify the victims; yet many are apparently in denial as if to say that the other side are incapable of such atrocities.
Though I am not surprised in view of constant brain washing by a completely biased media.

Anyway I do hope this would make front page.

@ OP:
Kindly correct your heading; the 1st word in both your headline and text should have read 'The' not 'He' pls.
