PDJT:Ah! You must be talking about Maj. Gen. L. Irabor who ordered the operation. |
lovat:Abeg, who wants to go and dine with the devil? |
MrSmith007:Something must be amiss, also been wondering why at least Kanu wasn't there? |
See how the ugly mother fvckers are tarnishing our name. |
gbegemaster:Have you ever heard of the saying: no be persin wey first reach police station dey always win case? In other words, anybody can protest or be paid to protest (by their sponsors for political reasons) not necessarily on merit. - after all we are in Nigeria, am sure you must have heard of rent a crowd. Has anyone ventured to investigate what prompted the alleged Fulani hostilities? Since you asked, the issue, like any other, should be thoroughly investigated to find the root cause and the guilty party properly punished - most of these problems escalate out of hand because the culprits are hardly ever punished and therefore leaving the victims no choice other than to take the law into their own hands, resulting in the vicious circle of reprisals and counter reprisals we have been witnessing; which are unfortunately not often reported objectively without bias. |
gbegemaster:There you go again, speaking about something you hardly understand and further more exposing your ignorance and bigotry; no thanks to a lazy and biased Christian dominated southern media that keeps brainwashing you with half truths. The dog and baboon statement accredited to Buhari was from a Hausa proverb that was deliberately mis-translated and misquoted much in the same manner the 97%vs 5% statement was also deliberately being misquoted by a supposedly educated but quite clearly dishonest (southern) media. As for the latter statement about the Fulani loan repayment accredited to El-Rufia; well that was simply a clear warning (to those who did not know) about the Fulani culture and capacity for revenge - incidentally, what could be more true than the currently happening in southern Kaduna - so pls explain to how that statement (made several years ago) could translate to incitement or relate to the ongoing events? You must be confusing me yet again with somebody because the subject of this thread is about the purported Fulani letter threatening reprisal in southern Kaduna (as you kindly reminded me) so I cannot imagine how it was possible for to be defending an alleged incident in Delta, that is not part of the present discussion - pls check the facts again. No, I never inferred that the Fulani were always blameless or not part of the problem; however, I continue to maintain that there are always two sides to a story and for a large part of it, the Fulani side had mostly been untold or under reported, because of a biased media which always paints them as the aggressors without proper investigation. The Fulani/farmer clashes have been going on all the time throughout Nigeria; when it occurs it often had been settle amicably, especially in the core north (usually though their leadership, the Ardo or LGA, who make them pay compensation to the farmer). At times, it does also get out of hand (e.g. Zamfara, Katsina etc.) and indeed there had been several killings; but curiously enough the press is hardly interested unless when the victims happen to be Christians or from tribes outside the core north. Has it ever occurred to you that the herdsmen may not have always been the instigators in these clashes; that they could have been victims of rustling or being duped of large sums of money towards rent/purchase of grazing land; and that their negative press is due to their better success at dishing out more brutal reprisal than their counter parts? Did you know that the Enugu killings was a reprisal by the herdsmen due to their members being secretly killed and buried upside down (after disembowelment) in shallow graves? Did you know that a committee report recommended one of the SE governors to pay compensation to some herdsmen as part of its findings - well before the alleged payment by El-Rufai; the question that remains is why was his so outrageously different in the eyes of the press? Did you know that, even after all his much publicised anti grazing brouhaha, governor Fayose of Ekiti State still signed an agreement with the Fulani association (MACBAN) and in the same breath directed local traditional rulers to grant them land to graze? - details of which the press have ignored. Finally, find below an advice about the power of the media (especially Nigerian media) and your gullibility to cheap propaganda if you are not willing to use your brain.

rottennaija:Walahi, I also imagined something more modern and elaborate than an ordinary one room workshop - after that they will be claiming it cost 2billion or something like that to build |
gbegemaster: gbegemaster:How very hypocritical; you didn't waste time to insult me when you mistakenly thought I had transgressed; yet you immediately still took exception to being paid back in the same coin even though you were the one clearly in the wrong. The most annoying part is that you were so much trapped in your own mental prison of bigotry and stereotype that you could not even comprehend the fact that the herdsmen are sophisticated enough to have organised themselves in a structured nationwide registered organisation (MACBAN) which represents them. What is more, you seem to be ignorant of the fact that a registered organisation such as the MACBAN means one that is legally registered and recognised by the government and therefore can sue and be sued by any legal entity. Instead you seem to think the Fulani are a bunch of marauding ppl who do nothing but herd cattle and kill anybody in their path; forgetting that from amongst them we had at least 3 heads of state (and still counting); the 1st first class graduate of medicine from UI, prof. Jibril Aminu was a Fulani man ...and the list goes on. Pls free your mind and relieve yourself of bigotry and ignorance. |
danio24ng:I have said it before and will say again: the Nigerian media had lend itself to be used as a tool of information mismanagement to incite hate and unrest between gullible Nigerians - especially along ethnic, regional and religious lines. They have thrown to the wind their professional ethics of investigative journalism, involving real fact finding and information verification before relaying their stories. Instead, they have become increasingly lazy and careless, relying on 2nd hand information e.g. from blogs and hearsay without verification; often using unrelated images such as videos or pictures to illustrate their stories e.g. graphic images from far away event in Rwanda to illustrate alleged herdsmen killings in Enugu or southern Kaduna etc. Unfortunately for them, this time around they have crossed someone like the bishop who has all the resources necessary to confront them and extract a retraction. In a similar manner, the Nigerian media (predominantly owned and managed by southerners) has been very biased and uncharitable in its news coverage pertaining to the north; her tribes and the religion of Islam. I was however, pleasantly surprised when just this Friday, AIT having sent its journalist on a mission of fact finding came out to admit for the first time that stories about the Southern Kaduna killings were in fact largely exaggerated - unfortunately, this affirmation came rather too late as much of the damage has already been done.SMH. |
gbegemaster:You are either a terrible liar or must have been transplanted with the brain of one of the cows of the herdsmen you have been so fixated about. Refer to your post on page 3 of this thread at precisely 1.25pm, and note I did not jump into any conversation between you and anybody (as claimed) but instead you were the one who first accosted me with the following words: Seriously? Sue fulani herdsmen? Lol. Pls respect yourself and do not test my patience. ![]() |
adenine02:Which crowd? Didn't you noticed how the cameraman cleverly used different angles to make out the crowd was large; whereas the total number of ppl involved couldn't have been more than six. LOL, they couldn't even afford printed posters while one of them was wearing old tattered bathroom slippers. No mind them; PMB dey kampe - desperados can go and jump into a lagoon. |
gbegemaster:Another display of ignorance - so I am not free to comment in a public forum? You are not serious. |
blazer234:If not stupidity and ignorance; how can any intelligence person question whether it is possible to sue an REGISTERED ASSOCIATION - it is just incredulous! |
gbegemaster:Your case is incurable; sorry can't help you. |
blazer234:Typical example when the visionless brain dead still can't see the cause of their present misfortunes - ignorance is a disease, seek treatment. |
gbegemaster:May God one day free you from ignorance. |
xnsandrxns:Kikkikiki ![]() |
kheengjay:Correct, a registered association that can sue be sued would not openly write such an incriminating letter and therefore leave itself wide open to prosecution; it is clearly the handwork of some stupidos who foolishly believe everybody is gullible like them. |
waledeji:They messed up our nascent democracy and regional system, out of tribal hatred and greed; and had subsequently been blaming everybody but themselves for reaping what they sowed. |
Justdulla:Stop lying because you clearly did read any history book; otherwise you would never have claimed that those killed, especially the northern leaders and military officers: Ahmadu Bello, Tafawa Balewa, Brigadier Maimalari, Col. Pam etc, were all corrupt. The northern premier and Prime Minister Balewa had only one house and a modest farm each with less than 10 pounds in their bank accounts. Pls refer me to the pages of the history book that you must have read and where it stated, whose money and how much they stole to have warranted their murdered in cold blood (in the case of the Sardauna, along with his wife). That bastard Nzeogwu opened the pandora's box to all of ours since then; may he burn in hell along with all those that contributed to derail our nascent democracy - pls answer Amen. |
Bobinovic:Very ironical
|
Ajanacool:My immediate thoughts. |
Rilwayne001:Not credible source; just facebook hearsay and we know how our blodas like to lie and exaggerate. Thank God, AIT finally blew the lid on the massive exaggeration of the southern Kaduna crisis - using real investigative journalism with reporters on the ground, not relying on 2nd hand information from bloggers etc or biased guest analysts/experts, who may not even have ever set foot in the north; yet given prime airtime to expose their pet theories and thereby shape public opinion based on their biased preconceived stereotype ideas without recourse to the true realities on the ground. . |
blazer234:Take your complaint to that Clueless President Jonathan who looted and squandered your today and future away, then thank God for sending us Buhari to help stop the rot; otherwise Nigeria would have long been declared bankrupt by now. |
itsmeurLady:Nyamiri, then face your front. |
@OP: Kindly correct your headline because it completely misleading and equally very inciting. Your heading should have read something like: Police Cleared Suspects of Complicity in Abuja Murder of Christian Woman for Lack of Evidence; otherwise you are in effect suggesting that these ppl were released still as suspects without being investigated, cleared and exonerated - contrary to the actual facts on the ground. If anyone disagrees, then let him/her provide the necessary evidence to convict these set of ppl; unless they nevertheless want them found guilty of a crime they didn't commit, simply because they share the same tribe, region or religion with the actual culprits. |
^^^^Yes, according to his blind irrational hateful mindset, he wants these innocent ppl unconnected with the murder to pay for crime of the culprits simply because they may share the same tribe or religion. |
blazer234:If I didn't I wouldn't have posted the pictures; your problem is that your hatred for him wouldn't allow you see same. |
mengho:No mind dem; they will be among the first he will kick out of America, inline with his anti immigration stance; he hates Africans, Nigerians in particular - and we all know who have giving Nigeria a bad name out there. |
Yyeske:What do they need a 2nd bridge for when they want to break off from Nigeria; make dem destroy the 1st bridge sef make we hear word. |
Adminisher:I agree with you on both points: not much easy money around to sponsor a strong enough party to successfully unseat an incumbent; while the 2nd option is only possible should fall out with his current party APC e.g. because of his anti corruption stance; at time any party would see him as an asset in of his still very strong following. |
