As a lover of history, I've noticed that most heads of state produced from the northwestern part of Nigeria don't finish their tenure or die in office..

Murtala Mohammed from kano .. Died in office via assassination.(NW)

Gen sani Abacha from kano... Died in office NW)

Alhaji shehu shagari. From Sokoto... Was overthrown. (NW)

Gen buhari military head of state. From kastina (was overthrown)

President umaru Musa yaradua from kastina.
Died in office(NW)

President buhari ( currently) kastina. please God see him through.. (rumours that he's sick)
Sorry, Abacha too was not from NW, he only claimed Kano but actually Shuwa Arab from the NE.

As for those wishing ill will towards the president; may their bad intentions be returned back to sender ten fold.

Christianity Etc › Re: Those Attacking Me Now Kept Quiet When El-rufai Tweeted Hate Speech - Suleiman by NaMeAboki: 7:52pm On Jan 26, 2017
Nonsense, still trying to justify his undeniably indefensible despicable blunder.
In fact the more he opens his mouth the more he worsens his position and further exposes bigotry and low IQ.

How does El-Rufai's speech compared to what he ordered his followers to do; where in El-Rufai's speech did he incited anyone to hate or kill anybody?

El-Rufai's words, "We will write this for all to read. Anyone, soldier or not that kills the Fulani takes a loan repayable one day no matter how long it takes.” were simply a forewarning about the unforgiving Fulani culture of revenge - much as we are witnessing now in southern Kaduna; he wasn't inciting the Fulani to kill but rather emphasising their capacity for revenge.

Now compare that to Apostle Suleman's, "I TOLD MY PEOPLE ANY FULANI HERDSMAN YOU SEE AROUND YOU, KILL HIM"...... "AND I'VE TOLD THEM IN THE CHURCH HERE THAT ANY FULANI HERDSMAN THAT JUST ENTERED BY MISTAKE, KILL HIM, KILL HIM, CUT HIS HEAD, CUT HIS HEAD"...and the incitement continued

Lets even assume El-Rufai was wrong; however, note the slight shift in Suleman, he is no longer bluntly denying but indirectly admitting to the offence and instead justifying it with El-Rufai's.
In other words the two wrongs should therefore make a right - can you imagine such shameful loss of moral compass and proportionality from a supposed man of God?

Can you also imagine that even after his narrow escape from the DSS, he still had the audacity to be threatening the nation with his supposed followers?

Rather than honourably owning up to his mistake and apologising with expected humility; he has instead been stubbornly unapologetic and un-remorseful, topping it with this latest insult to our intelligence of such woefully stupid defence.

Good observation.
What is becoming alarmingly clear is that there some evil ppl within the Christian fold stoking propaganda of hate to incite violence and war between Christians and Muslims.

At 70+ you should be suckling on feeding bottles like pretty Mike, play with your grandchildren, tell them stories of how you fought in the war, how you always come first in your class while in school, Get enough sleep and attend to visitors once in a while not governing a country of over 190million citizens and still be biased n your decisions and appointments. Sir you've fail those who really looked up to you for change.
If you had followed the story more closely and dispassionately; you would have realised that the senate had rushed to send the president a preliminary report (i.e. still ongoing, yet to be completed) with recommendations to sack and prosecute the SSG; meanwhile the president saw reasons to tread with caution based on the content of the report and wrote back to draw attention to them.

Among them were apparent lack of fair hearing and quorum in some of the committee sittings etc (which may have been verbally later clarified by Senator Sani in the senate yesterday but certainly left out of the report to the president that could have avoided him asking questions).

The president was therefore well within his rights to have made the observations he did; the senate is now obliged to look into them and address them in its final concluding report to be sent back to him.

The president's letter could not in any way be construed as a presidential clean bill for the SSG or even an outright rejection of the senate report.

Unfortunately, our increasingly lazy and unprofessional media blew the whole thing out of proportion with its misleading headlines; while our half baked gullible youth, as usual bought it as gospel truth without questioning or independent thinking or rational deduction - apparently you are also part of that brigade.

Christianity Etc › Re: I Didn't Ask Christians To Kill Muslims - Apostle Johnson Suleman by NaMeAboki: 8:35am On Jan 26, 2017
kahal29:
The founder of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has denied instructing Christians during a preaching to go after Muslims.

Describing the report as not only senseless but malicious, he said his statements were misconstrued to incite the people.

According to him, he only stressed the need for the church to defend itself against invasion by gunmen and not a direct incendiary comment that could make Christians and Muslims to confront one another.

This is as Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, cautioned the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government to be mindful on how it handles issues bordering on religion in the country so as not to throw the country into religious crisis.

The governor had in the early hours of Wednesday foiled an attempt by the Department of State Services to arrest Suleiman in his hotel room in Adebayo area of the state for alleged inflammatory remarks.

He described the attempt as uncalled for and clear invitation to chaos.

Speaking in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday on the contentious issue, Suleman while debunking the report linking him to inflammatory remarks said it was sinful for anyone to order a fellow man to kill another.

He said, “They said I preached in Auchi two weeks ago which they said implied that I was instigating Christians against Muslims. I have always been an advocate of peace and I can’t stay around and be saying such. There are widows, orphans we take care of. No leader will see his shepherd being killed and be happy.

“Later, I got anonymous calls from Fulani Herdsmen about what I said. What I said was that, if gunmen came around church to attack churches, you must defend yourself, but if they come to pray, don’t attack. But they quoted me out of context. I am not stupid, I live among the crowd and I am not senseless. Time for self defence has come. Whether you are a Muslim or Christian, someone can’t just come to your house and kill your children and you will keep quiet.

“I said the Christians must not go after them, but if they come after us, then defend yourself. This is what they twisted to mean. I am hearing different versions of the story. I was in Abuja for three days why didn’t they come after me. But now that I am in Ekiti, they wanted to lump me up with a man they think was against them. It could have been easier to pick me up in Abuja, I don’t live here.

You are a real aboki - lacking in intelligence and decorum. You said that our colonial masters started all what? The Arabic inscriptions on the naira or the Islamic logo on the army uniform?

When I read this, I lost hope in our common effort to educate the north. When did we start using the naira? The present army uniform, when was it introduced? The person that removed History in our curriculum has done an irreparable disservice to this nation.

If not that boko haram started killing your fellow Muslims, people like you lacking in intelligence and overflowing in idiocy, would have thought that Christians deserved to be killed by boko haram.

Trump in his wisdom has signed an executive order banning terrorists like you from entering the US.

You think that there are more Muslims in Nigeria? SMH. Why do you guys oppose the inclusion of religion in our census? What we have in the north are cows and rams being counted as human beings. But I know why. People like you understand that you have lesser brains than those animals.
You talk about intelligence and education while exhibiting absolutely none; you confuse mere inscriptions from another language (Arabic) and illogically ascribe to it a religion; much in the same way as it would be stupid to equate Latin or even Aramaic letters to Christianity.

Indeed, you are embarrassingly ignorant and irredeemably gullible; it wouldn't surprise me if you still believe in father Christmas; otherwise how would you explain a blocked brain that still sees the Arabic alphabet as Islamic symbols - even after detailed lengthy explanations.

Yes, I agree whoever removed history from our curriculum did this country a great
disservice; otherwise the likes of you may get to read why our colonial masters considered it expedient to start the tradition of adopting Arabic letters (aka Ajami) on our notes etc.

You keep repeating the same crap about Trump's racist immigration policy; well I got news for you, majority of Muslims and in particular northerners will not lose any sleep over it; unlike many of you Igbos who placed such high premium on America like it is some kind of paradise on Earth, even if it meant a lifetime of flipping burgers, washing floors and dirty dishes or driving taxis etc as a big achievement; so that you can come for Christmas and flex big boy to your gullible village folks, after having changed a mere meagre handful of dollars; unfortunately, among them would be some who would buy into that lie and find themselves on the next flight to Asia with a belly full of cocaine only to be returned in a casket as corpses executed for trafficking drugs.

As for the population figures in the south, well I guess they too must have included some monkeys and apes as human beings - how else can you explain for those hairy and chest beating traits?
Christianity Etc › Re: Christians Protest DSS Plan To Arrest Apostle Suleman In Ekiti State(photos) by NaMeAboki: 10:46pm On Jan 25, 2017
The Kaduna crisis is not about religion but Christians are forcibly changing it into one; if they should continue forcing it that way then sooner or later all Nigerians will gradually be polarized in line with their religion.
Muslims have so far kept quiet and remained aloof; in expectation of Christian leaders and their organisations e.g. CAN would step in with statements to defuse tension and also reign back their recalcitrant members such as Suleman etc but to no avail; however, there will come a time when Muslims too will be moved to react, especially in the light of ongoing tribal and religious insults from Christians on several social media platforms.

Those with sense should appreciate that they are pushing this country into very dangerous territory.

The problem of Nigeria is that people like you are not sincere. You call Arabic inscription on the naira and the Islamic logo on the army uniform inconsequential issues?

Since Nigeria is a secular state by virtue of section 10 of the constitution, why is Nigeria structured in such a way as to favour a particular religion to the extent of having their logos and inscriptions on our national identity. Are we all Muslims?

If I fulani herdsman walks inside a church, know ye that he has come to kill and in self defense, it is only right that his head be cut off. How can a herdsman mistakenly walk inside a church?

Indeed we all are not sincere.
And indeed the problem with some of you as someone just mention is primary 3 level of comprehension.
I have read the story and still can't find how a detailed explanation of the cause of the problem (the killing of their ppl including a well respected leader and stealing of over 500 of their cows by locals identified to the police who yet took no action) amount to taking full responsibility for the murders? Where did you read that the MACBAN or any of its affiliates took full responsibility for any killing?
Comprehension, Comprehension, Comprehension - seems to have evaded you; though I am happy with link because provided further insight to the untold story of the Fulani side of the conflict.
As for the Arabic currency inscriptions and military logo matter, pls do not quote to me any part of the constitution and further display your abject ignorance.
Kindly explain how usage of any language or alphabet constitute to adoption of a religion; do you know that there are arabic translations of the Bible and that many Arabs are also Christians?
Besides, if you should still continue have a problem with all of this, why not take your complaint to our colonial masters, also christians like yourself, who started it all.

Lastly, you can similarly take your complaint to God for creating more Muslims in this country - bigotry is a disease; stop being ignorant and hateful.

TheLawTheLegal:
Self defence is a guaranteed right. The right to kill another in defense of oneself is a universal right. It is a defence to murder.

You can also kill in defense of another person. For example, when your neighbour is in danger of being killed, you can kill the intending murderer and it will be a complete defence to murder.

Apostle Suleiman simply reminded Christians of this defence and the DSS is already after him.

When the association of herdsmen, I think they answer Miyatti whatever- openly claimed responsibility for the Agatu massacre, nothing happened nothwisthanding that they made the revelation right in front of the IGP.

Buhari said that the monstrous Islamic herdsmen are from lybia, the northern governors forum said they are from Senegal and Mali while the dwarf presiding over kaduna said that he has already paid them. Is it now a crime for Nigerians to protect themselves against the foreign Islamic monsters?

Some stupid people doubted how Buhari was going to Islamize Nigeria and went ahead and voted this disaster. I am happy to announce to you that the islamisation of Nigeria is here with us.

I pity us, we are never sincere.
What a fantastic lie, pls provide the link or reference where the MACBAN openly claimed responsibility for any killing or shut up - how stupid would a registered association that can sue and be sued be to do such a thing and still expect to go scot free; if not for your blatant lie. Where is CAN and other Christian organisations who would ignorantly pick on inconsequential issues such as Arabic writing on our currency and Army logo or the American Sec of State's visit to the Sultan etc?

As for right to self defence, no one can argue about that; had the apostle stood before his parish and called for Christians to defend themselves if attacked, no one would say a word; however, what he preached was quite the opposite; he was there openly and recklessly inciting his followers commit murder.

Thankfully, the video has already gone viral and therefore easily available for debate and public scrutiny; he could be heard clearly saying:
(@ 0.47 sec) "I TOLD MY PEOPLE ANY FULANI HERDSMAN YOU SEE AROUND YOU, KILL HIM", (@ 1.02 min.) "AND I'VE TOLD THEM IN THE CHURCH HERE THAT ANY FULANI HERDSMAN THAT JUST ENTERED BY MISTAKE, KILL HIM, KILL HIM, CUT HIS HIS HEAD"...and the incitement continued.

In other words any herdsman who mistakenly strays around the church premises should automatically be killed on sight, irrespective of whether or not he poses a threat to anybody or innocent of any killings; according to this man of God such, person's death sentence was simply for being Fulani and a herdsman, just because he heard a rumour (a mere hearsay without confirmation) that some herdsmen would attack him - can you imagine that?
See the video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crkQJLKwWmo

How can that be construed as preaching self defence?
