Go and read the circular well they can't tell students to vacate...so what happens to the polling units inside the schools?

What is wrong with this one? Is your hand paining you to go to google abd search for the circular?

They were asked to vacate their hostels after their GSC examz

What does vacating hostels have to do with the polling units in or near a university

Schools are not being shut down....those periods are only declared as work free days. You can't force students out of school just because of election and besides schools also have a lot of polling centres.

Bros, schools will be shut.

Students will be asked to vacant the hostels. UNIPORT has already sent a circular to that effect.

The thing is that I admire the boldness of Tinubu.

A normal person will not go and campaign for Tinubu(esp) or any other person as President in Benin. And the person even goes to Oba's market/Ring road for such. Oshiomole get mind I swear.

To Champaign against Obi for Benin or Edo state na to sign your political death.

Obi winning the election would have widespread implications. All politicians and citizens will now realise that power truely lies in hands of the people and things will definitely change.

Ahh, please OP dont allow my good friend @garfiled1 see this o.

Afterall, according to him Obi cannot win 25% in Bayelsa since the people that "control" the votes of Bayelsa(Seriake, Lyon, Siri, etc) are not supporting him.

I am very sure that these people here do not have PVC sef

You still dont get it.the main battle is at the rural areas.people like ayiri dominates their community,he is the single largest employer and benefactor there.they dare not challenge him.even lp supporters there will have no choice than vote tinubu.do you know what it means to deliver 30,000 from two wards? Why are you so naive and emotional.even though the olu disgraced him,you missed the point that the itsekiris are totally with bat

That thing you are calling "deliver" wards is writing of results. You know that and I know that too.

This time around there is BVAS Bros. Those kinda rubbish will stop

If you think that a typical Deltan will vote for a flawed candidate like Tinubu, talk less of voting for a Muslim-Muslim candidate becasue of Ayiri, then I dont know what to say to you.

I dont know why I am even arguing this with you.

He does not command nothing.

The man has been ordinarily reduced by the Olu and the Itsekiri people.

By the way, nobody commands any useless votes in today's Nigeria as it was in previous elections. If you have not gotten this into your head, then you know far less than what i previously "gave" you.

PS: Be here celebrating how a non entity has endorsed APC in delta, why i celebrate the fact that the Minister of Edu (through NUC) has directed that all tertiary schools in Nigeria shut down to allow Students go back home to vote in the Presidential elections- hope you know what that means

By the way, Obi should continue making these kinda strategic moves as the official campaign wind down.

Plzz he should also focus on Cross Rivers and Akwa Ibom as well as Rivers. We need to ensure that PDAPC do not have 15% in any of these states

PS: Is Obi not supposed to be in Abj for the campaign today??

Obi won't get 25% in Kano. Just not possible.

Kano had over 2.1 million total vote in 2015, this year should be significantly more. But let's assume 2 million people vote, 25% will be 500k votes for Obi. Just do not see that happening. We should focus on states where this is possible like Kaduna, Kebbi, Taraba etc.

Lolz.. so you believe those 1.9-2.1 million votes from Kano in 2015 and 2019 are correct.

Figures that came partly from Incidence Forms? Are you aware that about 60%(some say almsot 70%) of Incidence Forms in 2015 was used in the north.

This year will be less.

Only Lagos may be higher.

I really do think Obi should revisit the South East and the South South states again. The strategy shouldn't just be getting 25% in 24 states (which isn't very likely) it should also include ensuring the opposition do not get the required 25% in states that should traditionally be Obi's stronghold.

It will be disappointing if any of Atiku gets 25% in any of the south eastern states. Efforts should also be intensified to ensure Obi gains more ground in the south especially in states like Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Bayelsa.

Even if Obi doesn't win ok first ballot, efforts should be made to ensure he makes second ballot (only the top 2 candidates will qualify). The sheer possiblity of Peter Obi making it to the last round will further inspire more people to come out enmass to vote. It will make people realize their votes count.

I believe Obi should make 25% in Ogun and Nasarawa and Taraba. Ogun has major cities like Abeokuta, Ota, Ijebu with a significant young and literate voting population who should swing Obi. Major Abuja folks living in Nasarawa with the significant Christian population should be enough to get him 25%. Taraba is majority Christian, Obi should also hit 25% here.

I worry more about the South East and South South. Of course he will get the 25% here, but should the opposition gain significant inroad here, it's game over.

This comment here is Gold. Pure Gold.

I hope Obi or any of his top aides see this.

This is Key.

I agree with u to a reasonable extent, but that those that insult are the minority is a no for me especially on this Africa’s largest forum…
It always makes me sick, I use to promote Obi on twitter but the moment I started noticing all the jargon some of his supporters do then I started withdrawing so as not be tagged or seen as pairs.
Imagine opening a thread and see someone calling another person’s father a bastard, an idiot and then cursing the whole population of those supporting a party that it shall never be well with them… aha! Weytin reach all these nw??
Then you start wondering, if Obi wins what will this people now do and to what extent knowing fully that they have the fg back up..?

Like i said, it is a movement and you would find or sorts of people in a movememt. My experience is that those that do these heavy insults are in the minority. They could be loud but they are in the minority. I for one even if i have been here for years and a strong Obi supporters, ii do not do any of those heavy insults. And like you, i find it both appalling and unnecessary.

But let me clear: all the supporters of the various top political parties(except perhaps Kwankwasians) engage in these insults and ethnic baiting. It is very dishinest for some poepl to make it seem that it is aonly some obedients that engage in this.

Like i advised previously, please focus on the candidate(his disposition and behaviour) and what he cam do. Do not allow the behaviour of some of his suppporters to make you chose the wrong person. This election is just too consequential for that.

No be lie, I love the man but his people will be the ones to bring him down through their insulting and abusive way of campaigning.

It is not all Obi supporters that insult other persons. In fact, i think they are just a minority.

You need to understand that it is a movement; and historically in a movement you also have people who are very emotionally invested in the changes that the movement seek.

Please focus on Obi himself. He has not insulted any body since this campaign started even when he is insulted.

Show me the path to Obi s popular vote in the thread i created. I expect a reasonable critique not emotional tirade.

It is that analysis that is completely Emotional. In fact, you literally put those figures off your azz.

Obi will win the SE, SS, NC and will be 2nd in the SW. He will get as much votes as he can in parts of NW(e.g Kaduna and Kano) and NE( Christain and minority parts of Taraba, Gombe, Bauchi, Adamawa, Borno).

By tne way, this above also aligns with the data from ALL scientific poll done so far on this elections.

Not correct. I also felt that was the case until i reviewed the consitution.

So if Tinubu wins 15 states and 12.5 million votes but did not neet 25% of votes in 24 states and fct. And Atiku has 11million with 10 states won. And obi has 6.5 million votes with 11 states won.

The run off will be between Tinubu and Obi

No way, Obi is not winning the popular votes in the coming Presidentials. No way.

What is not known now is if he can get 25% im 24 states and/or FCT.
