Who is we? Why not Yoruba's or OPC; this is why Igbo's still have alittle respect for the Northerner's becos dey like us are not Cowards. Do u see Boko Haram saying we? imbe.cile
PoliticsRe: Can The North Stand Alone? by namfav(m): 12:37pm On Nov 09, 2011
look at this little one, talking about choosing death grin

Bliss4Lyfe:
The fact remains dat thanks to BOKO HARAM the break up of Nigeria is now inevitable and dat bloody war dey want, dey will get. I just hope dey are prepared for wat will be coming their ways?

As for the Lagos Ole; I have adviced my people to leave that city with their lifes dat is the most important. There is enough wealth in the east and with accountability, they will only find gain and no loss.

If OPC or any other Lagos Ole tries anything on our peace loving people going about their legitimate business then we will all choose death be prepared to either kill us all or we kill u all. Congo and Somalia will look like child's play in contrast to wat Nigeria becomes.

America will not be able to stop this. angry

this is why they shouldnt trust you guys, suddenly the ss is useless and without the ibo they will fight amongst themselves, or is that your agenda, to put the tribes in the ss against each other after you infiltrate them?

undecided

manchy7531:
Mr man,Please just short your mouth up.Nobody is bunching the SS with the SE because we obviously don't need you.but know that our brothers form a large majority in your co called SS from anioma to port harcourt to ogoja in cross river and akwa ibom.

If at all we need the SS it is only politically cos we shared the same political marginalization and that has be helpful in producing Nigeria's most unproductive president(black monkey).

Also no that the SS is a conglomerate of ethnic groups, the Ijaw pitched against the Itsekiri,Ibibio vs Annang, irobo against ijaw and itsekiri,(another Somalia in the waiting)

we don't need your oil we have very large reserve for future when yours finishes (One of the largest Natural Gas reserve in the world is under the belly of Atani-Osamala-Ozubulu corridor and extends to Oguta. There is also the huge oil reserve along the Ohi-Ubomiri-Mbieri-Iho corridor.)Imo,abia, ebonyi and anambra are oil tanks in the waiting

We don't need your uneducated, unproductive and lazy  people who are always waiting for oil allocation from federal& oil companies.(without oil allocation cant your guy do something for yourself)

i want to hear from the lagosians, this should be interesting

Bliss4Lyfe:
LMAO, At some of the comments above. Some people are very quick to assume the Break up of Nigeria is a Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba affair. Very wrong.

The only way Nigeria will be broken is by War and where are wars often fought, in the key cities were everybody resides.

People are dreaming of reaping were dey did not sow, simply not going to happen and unlike the 1960s, the Majority of Lagosians are not yoruba so any aggression will back fire. We built lagos with our money and no thief will steal from us without a good fight.

Then we all go away separate ways. angry

I've always believed in the nation's unity, and still do. But I'll like to comment on a few things.

First of all, I strongly believe that North will be able to stand alone. Keep in mind that apart from agriculture, the north is equally rich in untapped solid minerals.

One last thing. Will you guys stop bunching the SS with the SE? We have nothing in common. Keep in mind that during the civil war, we fought against Biafra. So please drop that pipe dream that we'll fight beside you. It aint gonna happen.

ibo rat angry

phreakabit:
I think they will do just fine. They have some mineral resources that is vital to the development and sustenance of a country. Just to list a few that comes to mind:

Onion
Groundnut
Cows
Camels
Gold
Almajiris
Terrorist
Deserts
Severe heat and Sun ( The Caucasins love sun tanning, so this will be good for tourism)
Horses
Zobo (I dont know what they call the leaves)
Nunu (for export)
Kunu guinea corn ( Would make a perfect combo with nunu)
Okada riders
Not to forget TOMATOES too!

With everything listed above you would be Insane to think they wouldn't thrive alone . . . . . Don't forget they operate a monarchy too.

Good morning poster, with all due respect I don't really think Jonathan Goodluck has caused insecurity in Nigeria
Troubles in this country remain tribalistic and exists for many years, and have intensified since the Biafra war, Goodluck inherit of a big country with big potential but a lot of issues ( socio political) are still pending

PoliticsRe: Nigerian States And Zones Ranked By Igr by namfav(m): 8:40am On Nov 09, 2011
the north west is doing better than the south east and the north east not doing any worse than the se, empty barrels make the most noise tongue
PoliticsRe: Can The North Stand Alone? by namfav(m): 8:27am On Nov 09, 2011
you make too much noise, you will never be like dubai, countries like qatar have a good welfare, second to none in the muslim world, people who dont work get $ 2000.oo, access to univesities, health care, houses and a car, the south east can never achieve that, your social structures are backwards, like the osu system

Bliss4Lyfe:
@ Et bear,  Anambra alone in the southeast has about 30 tcf of gas and over 1 bn barrels of crude oil in the Anambra River basin of Anambra State, that is commercial quantity. Let us not talk about Imo and Abia that have even more reserves untapped.

We don't want no foreigner involved in our oil production and sale, taht is why Anambra has waited on the Orient Petroleum Company their indigenous brain child before they go to production and sales. No NNPC would also be ideal and hence Nigeria must break. Southeast/Southsouth and some middle belt are a very good idea for the new nation.

Not too many people and in another 10 to 20 years dat country will be the Dubai of African. As for the Bakassi land lost to Cameroon under OBJ, the southern cameroon want exit from cameroon maybe we can negotiate that territory back.
PoliticsRe: Can The North Stand Alone? by namfav(m): 7:05am On Nov 09, 2011
totally agree, the one who makes the most noise is empty, thats why i find the ibo people here very funny grin

lagcity:
You people dey underestimate Northerners bah? Hausas are renowned businesspeople all over Africa, especially West Africa but they don't make much noise The North can definitely stand on its own and thrive if it rallies behind a leader like Sardauna. If North breaks away, they'll get serious.

PoliticsRe: Can The North Stand Alone? by namfav(m): 6:27pm On Nov 08, 2011
you are a waste man

Beaf:
If you are all for division, why are you making contradictory noises like you are scared of the SE/SS leaving? Why are you so concerned about how the core-North would cope? You are not from any of those regions, yet you are so concerned? You are just a bigotted piece of of slime.
You sound scared, cos you are scared.
PoliticsRe: Can The North Stand Alone? by namfav(m): 6:26pm On Nov 08, 2011
how did your ancestors survive without the oil? slave trading? where do you think the oil comes from we have many alternatives, i want us to go back to roots, we dont survive from the oil in the ss, not at all, as i said in the case that we have to live on are own we will have to do what we used to do before the this whole thing,  there are alot of friendly nations that will invest in the north, you can go to hell with your cursed oil, oil will never bring prosperity in africa
PointB:
This is not about people trusting the SE or not, by the way trust is not a very popular item in Nigeria market, no one trust the other. So shove your trust down your throat.

The question is how exactly will a Northern enclave be run, without oil money (assuming the SE/SS and their collaborators successful 'steal' the oil).
How will the North live, and what will they do? Thats is the question we need you to answer.
PoliticsRe: Can The North Stand Alone? by namfav(m): 6:08pm On Nov 08, 2011
well said, i like you smiley

Desola:
@beaf,

Am I surprised? No-one is wise except they are supporting your treacherous divide and are licking jonasatan's behind, non?

How am I a traitor that I see the truth and not falling for your silly propaganda of "lynch the northerners"?

Just because the Boko Harams have ousted your boss as the incompetent f.o.ol that he is you now want a Southern revolution? If you weren't so dum.b, you wouldn't have come out to declare that the north are leeches. By doing so, you exposed your disabilities in the area of the Nigeria economics. Either that, or you are being your plain evil self who thrives on falsehood.

The north brings more to ordinary Nigerians than the ND oil which only lines the pockets of the elites to which you are a beneficiary! Ole!

PoliticsRe: Can The North Stand Alone? by namfav(m): 3:26pm On Nov 08, 2011
leave desola alone, why do you speak like a colonialist angry angry

Beaf:
I don't understand why Desola and co always talk like traitors. It goes the other way too, when SE folk derail SW threads, but this thread is neither. What has the topic got to do with SE/SW rivalries?

The rest of us are totally sick of such behaviour. Please people, kindly shut up if you are incapable of discussing a wider Nigeria and let wiser heads crack on.
PoliticsRe: Can The North Stand Alone? by namfav(m): 3:19pm On Nov 08, 2011
you obviously dont understand when i said compromise who says that the issue of maiduguri is sanctioned by sharia? they are doing it on there own will, the dont represent sharia law or islam, why is it that you ibo guys tend to act ignorant and try to flame people everywhere? compromise as in sharia is not allowing it on non muslims, most nigerians would not want to be next to biafra, compared to the nigerians that would mind living next to us (northerners), people dont trust the se, we are living in a age were we can refer ot history

PointB:
Lol, Sharia can be compromised? The same sharia that Boko Haram is killing for claiming that it is already compromised? Sell that idea to the Marines, cos even the Berom and Tiv man will not believe you, let alone far south.

Compromised sharia my back side.
PoliticsRe: Can The North Stand Alone? by namfav(m): 12:42pm On Nov 08, 2011
poeple will see through you, somehow you will find a way to piss off everyone like in the 1960s
sharia can be compromised in nigeria, biafra no way

PointB:
About Biafra happening again,

Do you think a Berom, Tiv, and Idoma will grant you easy and unfettered access to Biafra?
How do you think the Ijaws will respond to Biafra?
How about the SW?
And the international community - US, UK, France, how do you think they will respond to an 'Islamic aggressor'?

Who do you really think should think twice about Biafra, the SE/SS or you in the sharia North?
