well the system of government plays a major role look at some of the democracies in Africa most of us keep going round in circles with no clear plan, one party comes to chop another comes to do the same thing they were complaining about. Look at Rwanda one visionary leader with a plan is moving the country in a good direction, even the west developed with monarchies before adopting democracy, democracy as a system is best for countries that are already developed, we as Africans need to sit down and look for a system that will govern us better. All humans are equal the environment in which we find ourselves determines what we will become, I don't think a Nigeria born and raised in UK will act the same as the one born in nigeria, so who is making sure that systems works? Who is making sure the people are given the right environment to thrive? Africans need to start from somewhere and the first point is to change the colonial educational system, government system and consider panafricanism so the next generation of Africans will be able to develop this continent. Panafricanism because we need to redraw our borders into ethnic states to dilute the influence of the west especially France in Africa, but a stop to tribal conflicts on the continent and also put measures in place to make sure we benefit from our God given resources and develop.

migration isn’t really the problem here... because migration on its own the the right of every human the problem we are talking about today is mediocrity and dumbness... the reason why this country is this way is because the smart ones are few and the dumb ones are many ....the same people that wrote our constitution are dumb and it’s auppose to have been reviewed but hey no one is talking about it because there no accountability.... if you are dealing with a smart tperson you will always be on your toes every min but when you are dealing with dumb people you make little or no effort to even try and set things right our leaders knows we are dumb and they are using it to advance on there own dumbness

so if they have built a commodity market how do we beat that system? It's simply by fighting together if we decide not not import raw beans and rather add value to it before we sell, we wouldnt be affected by the commodity market but both countries are only interested in which one of us is selling the most beans and be hailed as the highest producer of cocoa, now if only ghana decides to sell refined cocoa, they may choose to ignore ghanaians and go for ivory coast beans but if we both do it together they would have no choice than to comply. I agree that in Europe every country fights for itself but whenever the west is dealing with africa it's the same approach, give aid/ loan and attach conditions that improve their exports to africa thereby destroying local production. Panafricanism advocates that Africa should have a single approach to how we deal with the rest of the world, not necessarily different tribes or nationalities coexisting together, if all of us together are prospering in our various land why would you want to leave to a nieghbors home?. As it is, if you decide to defy the system your neighbour will agree and you will be at a loosing end. It's easy for any african leader to sell the destiny of their nation because they are not bound by anyone to do the right thing, and there's no motivation for it because others would ignore you, if all of Africa had joined hands with Gaddafi to build the central bank backed by our resources, put in measures to make africa less dependent on exports, my friend you wouldn't be facing much difficulty in your country. Everyone is struggling for their destiny but funny enough when things become difficult in your country and you start running away to nieghboring countries, your nieghbors also feel the heat so no one is really alone in this struggle.

I am not a nigerian but the reason why nigeria and other African countries are not developed is because we are divided within ourselves and the west is playing Africans like chess. An example is ivory coast and ghana together we produce 60% of the world's cocoa but because we are competing against ourselves the west determine the price they will pay for our cocoa they give the farmers peanuts and make billions in the west, now imagine if both countries were sitting down together decided to sell refined cocoa and bargain as a unit we would be calling the shots in chocolate production. Also imagine if all african countries decided to shut our borders to foriegn products and decided if the west do not set up factories here their products will not be sold on our markets ,imagine the number of jobs it will create and the number of opportunities we will get. The thing is no matter how hard any african country tries on its own they wouldn't get far because the west are united in maintaining africa as it's market , now china too is taking advantage of us. Until Africans plan as one unit we would not get anywhere.

all over ghana in almost every small town,there are settlements called zongos with hausa people being majority in zongos we have been living peacefully with them for years, some have intermarried with ghanaian northerners and their children have even risen to occupy government seats in ghana. The yorubas have also been with us for awhile and they also seem to ok, a dentist in the facility I work in is a Yoruba man he's good and hes married to a ghanaian and leading a quiet and peaceful life, we have coexisted with nigerians in ghana for a longtime with no issues but recently the nigerians coming into the country are there for criminal activities and making the news for wrong reasons. If we hated you like you claim we wouldnt have accommodated hausa people, we hate criminals so if you are a criminal ghanaians would definitely hate you.

nobody is isolating crime to anyone, the ghanaian media are probably the loudest and they are many. There are so many radio stations in Accra alone so anything out of the ordinary that happens will be covered. Two weeks ago a Ghanaian shot a policeman it was covered anything that happens whether ghanaians or not is covered. The problem here is that your people are dominating the news in relation to crime who's fault is it? The people doing bad things or the journalist reporting it, maybe it's normal for someone to try to kill their house help in nigeria but it's abnormal here. Since that soldier was killed in mob justice people no longer seem interested in mob justice , the last time a thief stole something in a market the mob made him desilt a big gutter instead of doing the obvious. So we would not be happy to see a foriegner trying to kill a Ghanaian over God knows what.
