Got a mail from uk on the 10th (undergoing consideration)
Got 2 mails From VAC for collection on the 12th

Was told to submit an invitation and my brothers proof of residence since he is the one inviting ( brother is a citizen).

3) POF.

That’s all oh.
But me I added my work reference letter and introduction, my leave letter , my utility bill, my CAC documents .
Just collected my visa stamped in my passport. What GOD cannot do , does not exist.
Exactly 7 days I submitted.

I believe if they say your Travel documents is ready for collection ( then it means they gave you the visa. (My thoughts anyway)

Calm down and stop involving God in a UK visa. This is not even supposed to be celebrated because it's no big deal

Its being a really longggggggggg way coming. A little back story...
Initially for Jan 23 Admission
Application in August 22
Unconditional admission - Sept 22
Tuition deposit - Oct 22
Nov 22 - School said my payment came late so no more CAS
School gave me option to defer admission or ask for refund. Decided to defer to Sept (seemed like a long wait😞)

Fastforward to 2023
POF - 18th May to 15th June (29days)

Application 16th June - The day Oanda rate shoot up unexpectedly - I was so confused & wished I paid exactly when POF was 28 days matured. Luckily I had other accounts which met the UKVI requirements and decided to use it alongside.

Bio (MA and Dep.) - 20th June (VI TLS, Standard, Flexi appointment)

Received by DMC (MA and Dep.) - 21st June

Empty NSF (MA only) - 21st June

1 Paid mail done, response was application awaiting decision

Moved to VAC (MA and Dep.) - 4th July

Received by VAC (MA and Dep.) - 4th July

Collection Mail (MA and Dep.) - 4th July

BRP mail (MA and Dep.) - 5th July

Passport received today - 5th July

Some lessons learnt
* I was trying to use Form A to process my tuition deposit when I was running against time, I rushed to use BM at last minute but couldn't meet up the session admission. Pls do what you have to do on time and dont delay.
* Do your TB test when you are sure you will get CAS, or have gotten CAS
* While Building your POF, have some backup account that can be presented just in case
* Someone was advising me to wait for 29 days maturity of POF before applying, Ideally its not necessary, UKVI requirement is 28days. SOA can be more than 28 days, but visa application can be immediately after 28 days matured.

In all, I'm glad we are here! I learnt a lot from this platform ehn!
You'll definitely have all the information here to apply and without using any agent. I did DIY.

Pls has anyone had this experience of having used a statement of account that had a range of funds within the 28 days period and not a constant amount?

I am asking because for dependants POF, we plan to use another account that has had between a min of #27M to #29M max between May to July 2023. Current bal is #28M.

Pls experienced hands in the house, help me answer this pls. Will this fly for dependant UK Student Visa under the 28 days rule considering current realities?

Pls also help me confirm if I can still pay for walk-in by Tuesday if I submit my application on Monday.

Resist from giving such advise to people here on POF, which is meant to be for study overseas. Remember Ducess90 is sounding it like drum here people won't hear. If you scale tru here and get to POE, there might be cases where student get detained in cell for 48hrs and ask for reconfirmation of SOA by contacting your bank which if found your POF is not sitting in that account you will be bundle back home with 10years ban..

Yes cas will be issued. You should have contacted the bank to help fund you and your dependant will pay the interest. That would have saved time

U don't have issue if it's Abuja. Just tell dem you paid to their account already provided you go the date you choose and they will let you in

With Draft, you will be bouce from getting TB test done until you call the customer care to book a new date. This is from personal experience
