In Nigeria mostly, there's how parents behave that would make child wish every single day to leave home and start their own lives. Most times parents can be so demanding, over protective and judgemental .
And most times parents don't understand their children, they jusr assume the child is happy cause the child is not complaining.

1. Listen to your child : Teenagers NEED you to listen to them. Don't just brush them off as if they don't know or understand anything. Most times they tend to even understand life in ways parents don't.If there's a problem at home discuss it with them.

2. Try and understand what your child is going through even if they have not talked about their problem with you.

3.Dont treat them like children but like grown ups too especially the ones that are like 16 up wards.

4. Most times I've noticed that parents like to push around the child that's quiet and doesn't complain much. This isn't good. Just cause your child is quiet and obedient doesn't mean you should push them around to do everything you want.

5.Try not to be too judgemental with your child.

6. learn to tryst your children because your child trust u.

7. Learn to support your child when the child needs it. Most times when a child is trying to make the parent understand them both parents would gang up and support each other while leaving the child frustrated.


As a teenager all one is wishing for is to leave home cause of the demands and over protectiveness and live is too short that as long as your child is living with you all they would want to do is leave home..

Sometimes women dont need to say a word that they are angry with you for what ever thing you did.
Some of them just start behaving weird, which is usually the signs that they angry with you.
