Foreign Affairs / Guinea Conakry, Ghana, Cote D’ivoire In Unholy Role; Brewing Crisis In Bissau by NAPC1(m): 4:49pm On Feb 21, 2020
Guinea Conakry, Ghana, Cote D’ivoire in unholy role; Brewing Crisis in Guiné-Bissau

The essence of writing this piece is to put the world on notice; drawing their attention to the dangerous role being played by the aforementioned nations in aiding and abating Mr Domingos Semios Pereira in his tireless effort to bring chaos on the peaceful people of the calm republic.

Background:
The Republic of Guiné-Bissau went to polls on 29th December, 2019 and the outcome of the election which was witnessed by observers both internationally and within Africa, including individuals was adjourned the freest and fairest election in Africa in recent years.

The election produced the young Umaro Sissoco Embalo of Madem G-15 as winner, haven enjoyed the support of Engr Nuno Gomes Nabiam of APU-PDGB, Jose Mario Vaz (the outgoing President of Guiné-Bissau and PAIGC other candidate), Junior Cadogo (Former Prime Minister) and other capable contenders that did not make it to the second round.
This alliance produced the highest campaign successes that made it easy to predict the direction the result will go.

After the election and clear victory by Sissoco, Domingos called to congratulate him as a gentleman before turning around to deny it because the interest of PAIGC in their continued grip and role as pun for the manipulation of the poor country was not over. The interest of other party influencers overwhelmed his sane disposition and that was when the insane rigmarole started.

Basics (Facts from Fables)
For the reasons stated above, and considering the fact that the state machinery was still in the hands of the PAIGC, they are endlessly trying to put it to their advantage by using the Supreme Court of Guiné-Bissau (STJ) to turn around the outcome of an election that was clearly lost and won.

In this continued effort to bring Guiné-Bissau to crisis by Domingos Semios Pereira and his allies, Mr Alpha Condé, the President of Guinea Conakry, Mr Nana Akufo-Addo, the President of Ghana and the President of Cote d’ivoire, Alassane Ouattara, have persistently influenced the efforts at restoring peace in Guiné-Bissau because they are working with Domingos as the only one to protect their business interests at the expense of an entire sovereign nation.

Impending Crisis
The continued interference, frustration and manipulation of the sovereignty of Guiné-Bissau by Domingos Semios Pereira and his allies is gradually brewing bad blood.

I know the efforts Nigeria, Senegal, United Nations and other ECOWAS countries put in to restore and maintain the existent peace in Guiné-Bissau, so why must we fold our hands and allow the greedy interest of one man and his allies to return a whole nation into crisis of war magnitude, a path that Guiné-Bissau has treaded before and wouldn’t wish to walk again.

Clarion Call
It has become expedient that the world, and especially Nigeria should intervene and support ECOWAS to prevail on Domingos Semios Pereira and his three allies who are protecting their interest at the expense of the entire people of Guiné-Bissau, to allow the duly elected President, Umaro Sissoco Embalo to assume his full responsibility as the new leader of the people.

During the election, PAIGC had control of Guiné-Bissau electoral body CNE, Ministry of interior, Police, Military, STJ, Finance and every other functioning arms of the government and the Prime Minister was a direct appointee of PAIGC, masterminded by DSP himself. If notwithstanding these arsenal at their disposal, a new party succeeded in breaking the 47 years jinx of holding unto power by PAIGC, it should be gentlemanly for them to accept defeat and give peace a chance.

For the many years of controlling the republic, it has been story of poverty, squalor, illiteracy, backwardness, and visionless policies. But within a month, the 47 years old Umaro Sissoco Embalo through his many diplomatic tours has beamed searchlight of progress and partnership back to his country and the world is ready to work with him to liberate his nation.

Expedient Solutions
1. It is also significant to observe that while PAIGC has manhandled Guiné-Bissau for 47 years, today the people have given their mandate to a 47 year old youth to liberate and unite them. This decision should be respected and the idea of dividing Guiné-Bissau along ethnic lines should stop and go away with PAIGC.

It is expedient also that the Presidents of Ghana, Guinea Conakry and Cote d’ivoire be called to order and steer from crafting war in Guiné-Bissau while enjoying peace in their own domains.

2. Domingos Semios Pereira and his PAIGC party should be prevailed upon to respect the general will of the people.
He should also be made to realise that elections are not won in court manned by his stooges after you have clearly lost in the field.

It reeks of hypocrisy and shamelessness to let the world believe that you were rigged out of an election your party were the umpire, the judge and the jury. Common sense would’ve thought DSP that nobody would believe it.

Avoiding the Crisis
The standpoint on which Domingos and co wishes to shoot the first shot is insisting on “Recounting Votes” in an election he clearly lost.

Obviously, having the CNE and STJ under his fingertips could only mean that there was a game he was not given the space to execute and therefore when the winner fall to such antics, Domingos and his henchmen will definitely come out on top while Umaro Sissoco Embalo group will cry foul, then the first shot has been fired and as at this moment, nerves are flared and ready for showdown.

This is a mistake the world should not allowed Domingos and his 3 allies, Mr Alpha Condé, the President of Guinea Conakry, the President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo and the President of Cote d’ivoire Alassane Ouattara to walk the nation through.

Let this be a notice to the world, Senegal, Nigeria and United Nations that the above mentioned personalities should be held responsible for any chaos that may escalate out of their effort to protect their business interests above the progress and future of another vulnerable sovereign nation.

Chief Dr. Emeka C. Kalu
DG, Global Initiative for Good Governance (GIGG), writes from Nigeria

THE AMBASSADOR OF FRANCE IN THE DSP ROW.

Mandated by Aristides Gomes, the French ambassador to Guinea-Bissau decided to remove his diplomat’s cape to be part of the group of the axis of evil.
It was more than 04 hours that the ectro lasted, 19 of February, 2020, between the said ambassador and the sold out President of the STJ, Paulo Sanhá, where the following resolution came out: Annulled the elections won by General Umaro Sissoco Embaló.

Immediately, Paulo Sanhá called his followers and sold Judge Counselors, Rui Nené and Osires Ferreira, because Armindo Vieira (Mota) is on the mound, in the presence of Paulo Sanha’s Chief of Staff, Arafam Mané, whom he will have reported of the decision taken.

It is known that Prime Minister Aristides Gomes is France’s security agent in Guinea-Bissau and is doing everything to defend the DSP’s undisputed interests with France in order to prevent the election of the elected President.

DSP threatened the people, the institutions of the Republic, ECOWAS and fled to Portugal.
The sold out Paulo Sanha issues an illegal judgment, violating the Constitution of the Republic and the electoral law, and will flee this night to Egypt and then to Portugal.

Politics / Oshiomhole’s Excesses Must Be Curtailed – Kalu by NAPC1(m): 4:18pm On Feb 19, 2020
Chief Emeka C. Kalu, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, is Director General (DG), Protocols, PDP Youth Alliance (PDPYA). He spoke with EJIKEME OMENAZU on the Supreme Court decisions on Imo and Bayelsa governorship elections, among other issues Excerpts:

How do you see the continued protests about the Supreme Court judgment on Imo State governorship election?

I see it as a process of expression, a means the people are using to register their displeasure over the controversial judgment. When such anomaly occurs and the people do nothing, nobody will understand their displeasure.

As you may observe, Emeka Ihedioha is not the one behind the protests. He didn’t buy people to protest for him because he is already in court seeking interpretation of the judgment where the Supreme Court of learned judges will have the opportunity to apply the ‘Doctrine of Necessity’ to retrieve self. So, the protest by the people will be said to be people making their voice heard. Only this way can democracy be strengthened and our rights protected in Nigeria.

What is your take on the defection of most Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in the Imo State House of Assembly following the sack of former Governor Emeka Ihedioha by the Supreme Court?

I have being a keen observer of the political atmosphere in Imo State and I must say that I was shocked to hear about the defection of the PDP lawmakers in the Imo Assembly to the APC after the emergence of Hope Uzodimma as the state’s governor following the Supreme Court’s ‘Abracadabra’ that saw Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha of PDP sacked. The former PDP lawmakers are guilty of insubordination to the party as they were elected as lawmakers under this platform.

I cannot think of better reasons for their defection other than greed and selfish interests, which clearly shows that they do not care about the people they represent in the House.

I am not bothered about their defection. As a matter of fact, I am happy the bad eggs are leaving the PDP. But, they have to abdicate their seats and fresh elections must be conducted. If they want to contest for the election under their new platform, it is fine and good. It is their right as citizens of Nigeria, but they cannot be lawmakers elected on the PDP umbrella and defect to another party and still keep their seats. That is not possible.

What is your take on the upturning of the election of David Lyon as the Bayelsa State governor-elect by the Supreme Court and the return of the state to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with Senator Duoye Diri becoming the governor?

I received the judgment with a mixed feeling, heightened by surprise because I wasn’t expecting that kind of outcome. Also, my mixed feeling arose from the fact that some pundits will see it as if PDP has been offered a ‘compensation’ to get even with the Imo State judgment, which of course could be the reason you placed the two questions one after the other.

But, the fact remains that the two scenarios are not the same. The Imo State judgment is a case of trampling on the constitution and perversion of justice because laws are examined by set down precedence. Where the law says no unaccredited votes will count and you eventually overrule the law taking advantage of your position, it is wrong. That is why we need a review.

But, on the Bayelsa case, the scenario is different. This one is a fight against forgery and lying on oath. So, if the court examined it and it was proven beyond reasonable doubt that there was indictment of forgery, then the person involved should be thankful he was only sacked and not jailed. This one is not about PDP or APC. It is about fighting criminality. You’ll agree with me that if any party came second in the contest, they would have taken the seat. Let’s just say that PDP were lucky to be in the right place at the right time.

We cry of corruption and it come in many shades and forms. If a man could get the highest position in a state through forgery, what do you assume he will do when he settles down for it? Bayelsa should be thankful and the court should be applauded for this. If Emeka Ihedioha was sacked on the basis of such allegations, I would’ve been one of those calling him out for insulting the party.

How would you react to the outburst by Adams Oshiomhole, the APC National Chairman, immediately after the Supreme Court judgment to the effect that no swearing in of a PDP candidate would be done in Bayelsa State?

I read the comment made by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, where he stated that PDP’s candidate and new governor of Bayelsa State would not be sworn in after the verdict of the Supreme Court. I must say that it is highly ridiculous and that statement suggests malice. Let me remind him that belonging to the ruling party does not mean that you are above the law, neither does it give you the express permission to go against the ruling of the Supreme Court.

Saying that the governor would not be sworn in also implies that he is ready to challenge the law and the good people of Bayelsa State who received this news with joy and widespread celebrations.

Mr Oshiomhole needs to curtail his excesses. Nigeria doesn’t belong to the APC alone, it belongs to Nigerians. I wish to remind him that today a day after his outburst, Senator Duoye Diri, the PDP candidate, has been sworn in as the Bayelsa new governor.

How do you see the deregistration of 74 political parties by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)?

Of course, most of those political parties are formed to obtain from people and the government. So, it is great they were deregistered. Anyone who wants to run for office should use a confirmed party, not just those mushroom things called parties. Those folks floating these parties just did so to make money. They have no democratic value. So, I commend the Federal Government to continue on this path to defend the individuals that have invested in such groups should constantly deregister them

The South West Houses of Assembly are at the stage of passing bills to legalise the South West Security Network, a.k.a Amotekun. How do you see this development?

I think it is a step in the right direction. Nigeria is long overdue for state policing because the security challenges bedeviling this nation seem to have overwhelmed the Federal Government. Let the state governments get involved in the security of their various states to complement the efforts of the police. That way, we can begin to sleep with our two eyes closed.

On the other hand, I will advise that the security outfit should not be allowed to escalate go beyond its jurisdiction and article of constitution. I think that is why it is passing through the legal process at the state Assembly to put it under the control of the government.

When we begin to acknowledge that the life of every Nigerian matters, we will begin to support “Legal Measures” aimed at assisting the Federal Government in protecting the life and properties of her citizens. Therefore, I think this effort to legalise Amotekun is a step in the right direction.

What is your take on the emergence of a regional security outfit in the North immediately after the launching of the Amotekun by the South West states?

The problem with Nigeria is disunity and lack of patriotism. We don’t have to jump into counter actions because we see another do it, as if Nigerians are trying to outdo each other in the name of tribe.

Politics / PDP Chieftain Condemns Defection Of Party’s Lawmakers In Imo To APC by NAPC1(m): 5:54pm On Feb 08, 2020
LAGOS – A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Chief Emeka C. Kalu, has expressed shock over the reported defection of his party’s lawmakers in the Imo State House of Assembly to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Kalu, Director General (DG), Protocols, Peoples Democratic Party Youth Alliance (PDPYA), who spoke to Saturday INDEPENDENT, said he supported the call of his party that the lawmakers should vacate their seats, having jumped ship, as there was no crisis in the PDP at the time of their defection.

He, therefore, called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to declare their seats vacant, and conduct bye-elections in their constituencies for the constituents to elect their replacements.

It would be recalled that several PDP lawmakers, including the Speaker and his deputy, all former PDP members, defected to the APC following the Supreme Court’s declaration of Hope Uzodimma as the state’s governor and the sack of Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.

Kalu, also Director General (DG), Global Initiative for Good Governance, stressed that the former PDP lawmakers were guilty of insubordination to the PDP as they were elected lawmakers under this platform.

He said: “I cannot think of better reasons for their defection other than greed and selfish interests which clearly shows that they do not care about the people they represent in the House.

“I am not bothered about their defection. As a matter of fact, I am happy the bad eggs are leaving the PDP. But, they have to abdicate their seats and fresh elections must be conducted in their constituencies.

Politics / Supreme Court Ruling On Imo Guber Poll Shocking – Kalu, PDP Chieftain by NAPC1(m): 3:20am On Jan 20, 2020
Lagos – Dr. Emeka C. Kalu, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, has described the recent Supreme Court judgment on the Imo governorship election as shocking and unexpected.

Kalu, National Director, Special Duties, Peoples Democratic Party Youth Alliance (PDPYA), who spoke to INDEPENDENT on Friday, stated that the ruling was against logic as Chief Emeka Ihedioha, who was earlier declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), came tops, while the Supreme Court gave victory to Senator Hope Uzodinma, who came distant fourth.

The PDP chieftain, however, urged the Imo State people to remain calm and peaceful and accept the ruling in good faith as the Supreme Court judgment could not be reversed, being the highest court in the land.

Kalu expressed the hope that the ruling was not influenced by a section of political class through unholy collaborations for political interests to perpetrate injustice without considering its effect on the people.

He, however, warned the Judicial officers, including members of the Bar and the Bench, to note that after the earthly judgment, there would be a divine judgment that they lacked the powers to influence.

Kalu also called Imo people, especially the PDP faithful, to continue to pray so that God would vindicate them in future elections when their mandate would never again be diverted or stolen.

Politics / Guinea Bissau: USE’s Visit To Nigeria, A Step Into The Future Says Dr Kalu by NAPC1(m): 1:26pm On Jan 09, 2020
Guinea Bissau: USE’s Visit to Nigeria and other countries, a step into the future says Dr Kalu

When the people of the Republic of Guinea Bissau took to the polls from November of 2019 and culminated on December 29th 2019, it was adjourned to be a period of political decisions that will ultimately determine the fate of the nation in this dispensation and many to come.

Paramount on this decision is the fact that the people of Guinea Bissau believe that they do not have a true democracy and independence because they see the ruling party, PAIGC as a representation of extended and indirect continued colonization of the people who are still in charge of their affairs but are not developing the republic as if there is a plot to keep the people in poverty and subjugation for a greater authority.

After a keenly contested election, the opposition in a coalition of Parties led by Engr Nuno Nabiam, Jose Mario Vaz and Cadogo succeeded in winning the ruling PAIGC under the umbrella of MADEM G-15 led by Umaro Sissoco Emballo, who turns out to be the youngest among the contestants at 47.

Reacting to the victory and subsequent states visits embarked upon by the young President, a PDP Chieftain, DG of Protocols Youth Alliance, Director General of Atikulated Agenda Worldwide and Global Initiative of Good Governance, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu who played a vital role in the victory march for Guinea Bissau has expressed happiness at the prompt way USE has swung into action within a short while to start official visit to countries for bilateral talks and way forward for his people.

In a statement issued from his Abuja base and signed by his Media and Publicity Aid, Comr Amos Kalu, Chief Kalu commends the young President and encourage him to continue in his lofty effort to negotiate the future of his people as only relationship with the world can put Guinea Bissau on the table among committee of nations.

“A leader that want progress for his people will go out to the world to bring good fortune to his people through healthy negotiations and business agreements that will boost development. Therefore I think General USE is moving in the right direction.

“Now this is why the people yearned for change from the old ways of stagnation because only young leaders like USE will move against time to stand in the gap for his people even before his inauguration.

“I will say I am proud of this incoming government that will be headed by USE and my Good friend Engr. Nuno Nabiam because there is going to be a paradigm shift in the ways of progress, peace and stability in Guinea Bissau”. He said.

Africa should learn how to stand up for true change even in the face of pressure as has been shown in the strength of the will of the people of the republic.

With a Visit to Nigeria, Portugal, Congo Brazzaville, Senegal and other countries to follow, there’s no doubt that the zeal to win will be translated into concrete plans that would keep the republic on the path of positive progress.

Politics / Umahi Threatens To Sack Aide Who Abuses Buhari by NAPC1(m): 9:12am On Sep 27, 2019
Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, on Thursday, said he would sack any of his aides who insulted President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress.

Umahi also warned that any of his appointees who hitherto “derived pleasure” in talking down his fellow governors across the country and their achievements should desist from doing so or have their appointment terminated.

The governor, in the build-up to the 2019 general elections, had described Buhari as his friend, despite their political differences.

Umahi, in a statement by his Special Assistant on New Media, Mr Francis Nwaze, which was made available to The PUNCH, said anybody who wished to “throw unnecessary stones at any of the leaders should be ready to leave his government.”

It read, “The Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, has prohibited any of his political appointees from castigating or abusing the Nigerian President, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.

“Doing such to any government or any governor in this country has no value to add to his administration.

“Henceforth, any posting against the President, any governor or government from any of his appointees will attract immediate termination of appointment by him.”

Politics / The Supreme Court: Last Hope Of The Common Man In Nigeria, Kalu Insists by NAPC1(m): 8:29pm On Sep 24, 2019
Nigeria is a blessed nation in all ramifications and we will continue to relish the gifts of God in Nature and blessedness of our human resources that has placed Nigeria in the best position to be on top of the world in all field of endeavor around the globe.

Like one of the nations of the world, Nigeria is guided by rules, laws, statutes and documents that legally binds and guides her citizens, especially in relationship with the authority and fellow citizens for a smooth and peaceful co-existence as well as maintaining of law and order. The sanity and unity of any nation lies within the periphery of upholding of these laws to the later, at all times and in every circumstances, the law must be held as sacrosanct and above all.

Every nations has their own challenges, and every nation’s challenge is peculiar to them, suffice this to say that Nigeria’s problem is peculiar to her and the solution to them lies within the corridors of her powers and jurisdiction to either solve them or overlook them to create unwanted and undue pressure on the system.

The National Director (Special Duties), PDP Youth Alliance and the DG, Global Initiative for Good Governance (GIGG), Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu, has made case for the Judiciary in a Press Statement on Saturday, signed by his Aide on Media and Publicity, Comr. Amos Kalu and made available to the press.

According to Dr. Kalu, Nigerians must not lose confidence in our judicial system as she remains the only hope for the protection of the lives, rights, and freedom of the common man against the brutality and unclothedness of power. This is the only way balance can be achieved in a sane society for the good of the leaders and the led.

“We must not lose confidence in the ability of the judicial system of our dear nation. We are all humans and we are prone to errors, when error occurs, we shouldn’t over rule every possibility of correction and we are of high believe that the Supreme Court will do all it must to restore the confidence and the believe of the people in the Judicial System of our dear nation”

“Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his teeming supporters has exhibited high level of maturity and believe in the Judiciary to adjudicate justice and I am optimistic that justice will at the end take its full course in Nigeria. He has continued to call on his supporters to be patient and wait on the law, I think this is the highest display of civil responsibility from a foreknown democrat like Alhaji Atiku, it is very commendable” He said.

He appealed to the Judiciary as will be ably represented by the Supreme Court to reciprocate to the goodwill of Nigerians who are seeking for nothing but justice for all.

“Our laws and interpretation should not be based on technicalities, rather it should be based on rules of evidence, this was substantial enough before our learned justices gave us a shock of our lives. It is now incumbent on the Supreme Court to upturn the mistake and set the record straight for posterity’s sake” He said.

Dr. Kalu finally appealed to Supporters of Alhaji Atiku to remain calm, resilient and law abiding, especially members of Atikulated Agenda Worldwide as justice will be served in due time.

Politics / PDP Youth Alliance Confirms Kalu As National Director, Special Duties by NAPC1(m): 9:46pm On Sep 20, 2019
LAGOS – In its bid to reposition the party and return it to the winning trail, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership has confirmed Dr. Emeka C. Kalu as National Director, Special Duties of Peoples Democratic Party Youth Alliance (PDPYA).

Kalu, Director General, Atikulated Agenda Worldwide, was one of the coordinators of Atiku/Obi Campaigns during the 2019 presidential campaigns, and one of the party’s strategists.

Dr. Charles Omini, National Coordinator, PDP Youth Alliance, who announced this through a statement made available to DAILY INDEPENDENT on Tuesday, said the move was one of the strategies to broaden the fortunes of the party.

Politics / Kalu, PDP Chieftain, Reacts To Buhari’s Tribunal Victory, Says Atiku Will Bounce by NAPC1(m): 5:38pm On Sep 13, 2019
NAIRALAND

LAGOS – Chief Emeka C. Kalu, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and Director General of Atikulated Agenda Worldwide, has expressed disappointment over Wednesday’s declaration of President Muhammadu Buhari as the winner of the 2019 presidential election, saying by the decision, the judiciary has lost its last opportunity to redeem its already battered image.

Kalu, also the Director-General of Global Initiative for Good Governance (GIGG), who spoke through a statement issued by Comr. Amos Kalu, his Media and Publicity aide, the tragedy was not because the judgment did not favour the PDP and Atiku, but that bad precedent had been set in Nigeria by the judiciary, which Nigerians had looked upon as the last hope of the common man.

He said although the judgment was not altogether unexpected, he wondered why some people were celebrating what he termed exhibition of ineptitude and wanton display of legal subversion, which he maintained had never been experienced before anywhere in the world.

Dr Kalu stressed: “Today, justice was subverted and the judiciary further exposed themselves after losing their only opportunity to redden their already battered image.
“The outcome of Wednesday’s verdict was not unexpected. But, upholding every iota of falsehood just to please few people against the will of the majority of Nigerians is what beats my imagination, because, among every other wrong, our judiciary has succeeded in making Nigerians understand that education is a scam.
“From today going forward, it is clear and profound that beating yourself black and blue to acquire a certificate in Nigeria is a farce as all you need to do is to take a picture with your principal and classmates.
“Even if you dropped out of school, or never started any, just make sure you appear in school photographs, keep it and wait. That is the part that is making me weep for Nigeria. How did we get to this crossroads in the first instance?” he asked.

Kalu further threw more light on the assertion of most people that he and other supporters that had refused to give up on Atiku were milking him, insisting that such impression was childish as he was actually investing more in actualising what he believed that Nigeria would stand to benefit if Atiku was given the opportunity to steer the ship of a prosperous Nigeria.

He maintained that Atiku’s experience, both in politics and civilian circle, had given him the edge over trials and errors as he had proven over the years to be progressive, productive and hardworking.
“I laugh when people erroneously talk about milking Atiku as if every belief of a man must be equated with monetary inducement. No! Our support is borne out of belief in a better Nigeria and we will continue to invest in it until Nigeria is emancipated. That is the real deal.
“Since the judiciary has decided to rob herself in the mud, we will pursue this to a logical conclusion by meeting them at the Supreme Court because it is never over until it is over.
“The judiciary is the last hope of the common man and we will continue to demand justice until Nigeria masses are placated. Atiku is coming because #DemocracyWon today, the truth will always win,” Kalu stressed.

Politics / Xenophobia Is Evil Wind Blowing Africa No Good, Says Kalu, PDP Chief by NAPC1(m): 3:00pm On Sep 11, 2019
LAGOS – Chief Emeka Kalu, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and Director General of Atikulated Agenda Worldwide, has described the xenophobia attacks in South Africa as an evil wind that has continued to damage the fabrics of African peace, prosperity and progress.

Speaking to DAILY INDEPENDENT exclusively in Lagos, Kalu said the attacks by South Africans were most negative and unprecedented, lamenting that Africa had allowed the evil seed to be planted, nurtured it to growth, stressing that its evil fruits would linger in people’s memory as it would be a clog in the deepening relationship among Africa nations.

Kalu, also Director General, Global Initiative for Good Governance, condemned the actions of South Africa citizens which, he said, had in turn generated ripples of chain reaction that had been damaging.

He lamented the rate the South Africans had taken upon themselves to kill and burn fellow Africans as well as destroying their property worth billions, describing it as callous and unwarranted action in a civilised Africa of 21st century.

Kalu also argued that no provocation was enough to go to such lowest ebb of human senselessness, stressing: “Anyone that is using the excuse that Some Africans, including Nigerians, are destroying South Africa (as alleged), is dwelling in deception and celebrating evil.

“That is the reason we have security apparatus in every nation to fish out the bad eggs and jail them or deport them. Deciding to destroy legitimate businesses to revenge the actions of few bad eggs is the most insensitive thing to do.
