Politics / Re: Maduka: Accord Party Chieftain Fires Soludo Over Fake Decamping New by NAPC1(m): 3:57pm On Oct 20, 2021
AlexReports:
Reacting to the report, a chieftain of Accord party and an avowed supporter of Dr Maduka, Mr. Vincent Anaedo, said it is unthinkable for Dr Soludo or his supporters to imagine or contemplate in their wildest dream that Dr. Maduka will step down for him.

Dr. Maduka is really trying. But APGA is not bothered about him. PDP is APGA's concern not Accord Party.
Politics / Mr. Greg Peter Obi Deserves Global Honour Not Blackmail ~ Chief Kalu by NAPC1(m): 10:07am On Oct 06, 2021
It is saddening, disheartening and blackmail- oriented the news making round the social media on the mischief advances of undesirable elements against the person and personality of Mr. Peter Obi. The ugly reports by Pandora papers alleging a man of national integrity like Mr. Peter Obi to have been insincere with his lines of investment to evade tax payments is a blatant falsehood and calumny geared towards staining his name because of 2023 general elections.

Mr. Obi whom the world cites his styles of leadership in world Bank and Anambra State government as worthy of emulations cannot be allowed to be blackmailed by political vultures and mudslingers who want to clinch power by all means. Global Initiatives For Good Governance (GIGG) unequivocally reiterates that those wore mongers and peddlers of mischief must bury their heads in shame for working to discredit a man whom God has favoured.

This is the extent traducers of witchhunts and falsehood could get to. Our position remains firm that the publications of Pandora Company are politically motivated, incited and calculatedly hatched to dent Obi 's image because of the high ranking respect and commendations he enjoys from the public. It stands to reason that Mr. Obi poses as a danger to those who think they can get to power through the back door knowing full well that none of them equates his degree of wisdom in social and political administration. There is no amount of rouble rousing and ponzi display that could succeed in ruining the image of His Excellency, Mr. Greg Peter Obi because his good antecedents speak for him.

For sincerity sake, four leaders of Mr. Obi's standing making and character nicety are enough to salvage Nigeria from darkness into an aura of light. He should be celebrated than being blackmailed. With God and his global supporters standing by him, Obi would continue to ride on the ladder of increase and excellence. Only a person of his nature and instinct can govern and transform Nigeria from sorrow to joy.

The one whom king has delights to honour like the biblical Mordecai is no any other person than Mr. Peter Obi. All his witch hunting Naaman would surely meet their Waterloo because no human palm fingers can cover the sun from rising. An illustrious son of the land is the rising sun of this country and Global Initiatives Crusaders are prepared to defend Mr. Greg Peter Obi within the full ambit of the law to ensure his human Rights and dignity are not cajoled, gagged or infringed upon. We encourage you to ride on Sir! The one whom the king delights to honour!

Politics / Federal Government Should Avail Nigeria Of Total Economic Deadlock ~ Chief Kalu by NAPC1(m): 9:01pm On Sep 20, 2021
Federal government should avail nigeria of total economic deadlock due of unguided borrowing.

It is very worrisome, thereby, portending dangers the manner with which Federal Government of Nigeria develops eagerness for external borrowing to finance infeasible projects of no national importance. It is regrettable that while the Country is being sunk down due to public funds misappropriation, FG still has the temerity to apply for extra loan from China in the tune of 2trillion naira or 710m eurobond.

Lest we easily forget that there is an outstanding debt of 33trillion naira that has not been paid while the government as well nurses the unguided plans to secure another huge debt. This is not ideal in a modern society where fiscal federalism should have been given a viable opportunity to thrive. Further application for borrowing money is a sure way of foreclosing the economic strength of this nation which may likely retard the development speed that could have been enjoyed if fiscal federalism has been given breathing space as envisaged.

It is baffling and ridiculous while this present government finds joy in borrowing money while Nigeria has diverse sources of generating revenues that could sustain the nation for the next 500 years if not the mismanagement and mindless looting plaguing the treasury base of the Nation.

Recalled that huge chunk of billions of dollars had been spent on building rails linking Nigeria and Niger Republic/Kano Federal road and today, we are talking about borrowing extra 2trillion naira without having a sincere scale of preference by which the borrowed money could be spent. Instead the government would resort to unnecessary political diplomacy to cover up series of financial crimes committed by public officials serving in this administration. It is a pity indeed and this does not augur well for a nation seeking total transformation.

How could one imagine Nigeria to grow in the face of lack of utilization of public funds. Refunds from the Paris club and recovered loots from indicted looters are enough to run the expenses of why we must borrow again if we must allow truth to be spoken.

Global Initiatives for Good Governance,GIGG unequivocally reiterates that there is no need for external borrowing any further, seeing that the outstanding debts are already dangling heavily on the neck of the national economy. Federal Government is advised to adopt the style of cost management policies as Mr Peter Obi, former Governor of Anambra State did to promote savings and curtail mindless spending by the government. We must be conscious of the fact that no Nation grows in the face of gross economic crisis and lack of frugal master plan in borrowing and spending is one of the major causes of economic drawback. The government is also cautioned to revisit her balance of payment system in order to reconstitute dollar- Nigeria exchange rate back to its tenable position as at 2014.

At the moment, Nigeria crude oil production is in a sorry state or at a low ebb against the allocated quota given her by OPEC and this was caused by no other reason than lack of logistics and infrastructural maintenance of production facilities, over dependence of refined petroleum products swap which are all the by products of corruption. What is sustaining the global government today is diversification of economy and industrialization by looking inward in developing and exploiting mineral deposits and advancement in unlocking low carbon environment in fossil energy. Borrowing helps no individual enterprises to flourish let alone the government. It is just like a man that borrows to feed on daily basis, the result is that he may end up mortgaging all his children into working for another man forever because no one can afford to pay the debt incurred in the process. Ghana today is recording bountiful harvests in gold mining and other mineral resources exploitation while Nigerians with large degree of economic resources are wallowing in abject poverty, hunger and insecurity.

It is simply advisable that this ugly trend be checkmated and brought to a stop so as to put smiles in the face of the citizenry.

Politics / FFK's Exit From PDP Is A Sign Of Recovery For The Party - Kalu by NAPC1(m): 12:50pm On Sep 17, 2021
The news of the defection of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode from the People's Democratic Party to the All Progressive Congress (APC) has been greeted with a conundrum of reactions, especially putting into consideration his original disposition, criticism and terming of the APC as an association of Evil men in Nigeria.

In as much as cross carpeting and party-jumping among Nigeria politicians along personal interest has become a norm, one cannot but wonder the place of integrity, honour and conscience, especially at a time the nation needs men of integrity, pedigree and astute character that do not flow with the wind as fair-wheater political hunters.

That notwithstanding, the National Coordinator of PDP Coalition, Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu, has advised the PDP family not to sulk over the loss of one bad apple, rather they should focus on saving the cart, saying that Mr. Kayode is known to be a politician focused on his gains rather than the growth of PDP or wellbeing of Nigeria at large, this is the only reason why a man will, after condemning APC, terming her "a gathering of evil men", still turns around to lick his vomit without honour, saying that the Party should lose no sleep over his defection.

"One of the qualities that set PDP apart is integrity and purpose, therefore it will not be a good breeding ground for fair-weather insincere politicians whose only purpose is personal gains.

"I am not surprised at the defection of this particular Buhari attacker, but I am bemused that the same man that said APC is evil and shouted the suffering of the Nigerian masses to the rooftops, caused by same APC, could suddenly turn around to join same men to dine, not even another party, that tells you all you need to know.

"It is clear that one of the problems we have been experiencing in PDP is a case of betrayal within, respectable and valued men whose loyalty lies without. It is a good thing that such men are leaving PDP to their destination to give room for fresh air" he said.

Chief Kalu, who is also the Director-General of Global Initiative for Good Governance insisted that these acts of decamping by members whose loyalty lay outside the party are a sign of recovery and an opportunity to give room for better leaders that will redefine the party and move the nation foward.

"Enough is enough" he thundered.

Crime / Bandits Release Another 32 Baptist Students Of Kaduna Abduction, Hold 31 by NAPC1(m): 9:58am On Aug 28, 2021
Another 32 students of Bethel Baptist School in Kaduna State have regained freedom from bandits after spending 52 days in captivity, with 31 others still held hostage.

With the latest release, 90 students have regained their freedom so far.

The Vice President, Christian Association of Nigeria (19 Northern States and Abuja) and chairman of CAN in Kaduna State, Rev. Joseph Hayab, confirmed the development in an interview with one of our correspondents, adding that they had been reunited with their parents.

He said, “This (Friday) evening, 32 of the students were released. We expected more of that figure. We had been on it since yesterday (Thursday). They have been reunited with their parents and they are taking them straight to the hospital for treatment. No time to waste.”

Hayab had earlier told one of our correspondents on Friday that the negotiator was working hard to ensure that the kidnappers released more students than they did last week.

He said, “The challenge is that the bandits do not release the children because their parents paid any amount. After all, we have one negotiator and when any amount is given to bandits, they release the number of children they deem fit. All the students released so far are junior students who are weak and vulnerable. None of the senior school students kidnapped has been released.

CAN Kaduna State is simply crying out to spirited Nigerians to come to our rescue in whatever way to help get our children back home. The trauma parents of these children are going through is not good for their physical and mental health. The worst is how the children are faring in this rainy season. Those who were released came back home very sick and weak, suggesting that those not back may be in a more severe situation.”

Parents paid additional N24m ransom after initial N50m –Sources

Sources had told Saturday PUNCH that the parents had paid a fresh N24m ransom after the initial N50m collected by the bandits.

It was learnt that each student’s parents were asked to contribute an additional N300,000 to raise the fresh ransom after contributing N500,000 each for the first ransom.

Our correspondents gathered that sympathisers assisted with donations as some parents could not contribute.

A total of 121 students were abducted from their hostels by bandits on July 5 but some of them later escaped.

The kidnappers who initially demanded N100m ransom reduced it to N60m after a series of negotiations. The police also claimed to have rescued two students in the Rijanna area along the Kaduna-Abuja highway.

A few days later, parents reportedly contributed money to buy foodstuffs for the abductors who demanded 30 bags of rice, 20 bags of beans and 10 kegs of palm oil.

After allegedly collecting N50m ransom, the bandits released 28 students on July 25 and promised to release the remaining 90 in batches. They also jerked up the ransom to N80m.

Last Saturday night, another 15 students were released and reunited with their parents amid mixed feelings of joy and sadness.

Reliable sources had told Sunday PUNCH last week that the kidnappers had vowed to collect interest for extra days spent by the remaining students and insisted on N80m ransom.

The development reportedly made the parents contribute another N300,000 each to pay an additional N24m ransom.

A source privy to the negotiation told one of our correspondents earlier on Friday that the kidnappers promised to release another 21 students on Thursday but parents appealed to them to free all the captives.

The source said, “Parents mobilised themselves and raised fresh N24m. They have lost confidence in the kidnappers but remain hopeful that the students will soon be released as promised by the bandits.

“They promised to release another batch of 21 students on Thursday (yesterday) but parents pleaded with them to release all the students as we have exhausted all our funds.

“They had gathered at the school since Thursday awaiting the arrival of the students. We are not sure of the number of students to be released but we are praying for the remaining students to be released.”

Another source confided in Saturday PUNCH that the bandits wanted to release another batch of students who had fallen ill.

The source, who also confirmed the fresh ransom payment, said it was raised from parents’ contributions and donations by well-wishers.

He stated, “Not all the parents could raise the money demanded by the bandits. They contributed N500,000 to pay the first ransom then another N300,000 for the second ransom. There were also donations by well-wishers and sympathisers. The school has not made any donation except that it has been coordinating the activities.”

Another source close to the school said the Kaduna Baptist Conference had long resolved not to negotiate with the bandits, but noted that the church management was exploring other avenues to ensure the release of the students.

The source said, “They have been working behind the scenes to ensure the safe release of the students. The money the parents have been paying is purely from them but the church and the school management have no hand in it. They have distanced themselves from any ransom payment.”

Zamfara gov receives freed students at Government House amidst heavy security

Meanwhile, the rescued students and teachers of College of Agriculture and Animal Science Bakura in Zamfara State kidnapped by bandits a week ago were on Friday received at the Government House by Governor Bello Mattawalle, amidst heavy security.

The PUNCH has earlier reported that the students and teachers were released on Thursday and would be brought to Government House on Friday.

Receiving the victims, Matawalle said they were rescued through the help of some repentant bandits.

He commended the police and other security agencies for the efforts leading to the unconditional release of the abducted students and staff.

The governor said his administration had taken drastic measures to curtail the activities of criminal elements in the state.

He, therefore, directed all the security agencies to ensure full compliance with the new measures.

Meanwhile, Matawalle, in view of the insecurity challenges in the state, ordered that the sale of petrol be restricted only to Gusau and the 14 local government area headquarters in the state.

This was contained in a statement by the governor’s Special Adviser on Public Enlightenment, Media and Communications, Alhaji Zailani Bappa.

The statement said, “Henceforth, all filling stations in the state are banned from selling fuel except in Gusau and the 14 local government headquarters.

“In addition, no eligible filling station is allowed to sell fuel of more than N10,000 to a single customer.”

“Similarly, the sale of fuel in jerry cans is disallowed in all filling stations while roadside purchase (popularly known as black market) is entirely banned.”

Matawalle further announced that all weekly markets across the state had been suspended but normal market activities of buying and selling for local consumptions are exempted from the ban.

The governor also ordered that the transportation of livestock to and fro the state is henceforth suspended while the transportation of food across the state and outside the state must be verified to authenticate its destination otherwise will be seized and taken to the orphanage.

The new rules further include the banning of riding on motorcycles and tricycles from 6 pm to 6 am in the state except for the state capital which starts from 8 pm to 6 am every day. Furthermore, any tricycle that is covered will be stopped to verify its passengers, otherwise will be apprehended.

Bandits operated for two hours, killed 11 villagers – Katsina community

Bandits, early Friday morning, attacked the Dan-Kumeji community in the Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State, killing no fewer than six people and injuring six others.

This was as some bandits were said to have invaded the Zangon Shanu area of Samuru, near Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Kaduna State and abducted six residents in the early hours of Friday.

In Zamfara, residents said the bandits stormed the community a few minutes to midnight and operated for no fewer than two hours.

The bandits were also said to have laid ambush to the community, waylaying some of the residents who attempted to escape the attack, killing and injuring some, in the process. The residents put the number of those killed by the bandits at eleven.

A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said, “The bandits stormed our community about midnight on motorcycles, shooting here and there. They also positioned themselves in strategic places and opened fire on some of the residents who wanted to escape.

“At the end of the attack this morning (Friday), we counted 11 dead bodies and we are currently making arrangements for their burial. The six others who were seriously injured are receiving treatment in a medical facility.”

The spokesman for the Katsina State Police Command, SP Gambo Isah, confirmed the attack but put the casualty figure at six.

“It’s true the attack took place and six people were killed but our men are there and are on top of the situation,” he said.

Scores abducted in fresh Kaduna bandits attack

The senator who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th National Assembly, Shehu Sani, tweeted about the Zaria attack on Friday.

Sani, in his tweet, said, “Early this (Friday) morning, bandits of stormed Zango area of Samaru, Zaria and kidnapped scores of people.

“Ahmadu Bello University main campus, College of Aviation and Institute of Transport Technology located in the same area must take immediate preventive security steps to secure lives.”

Zangon Shanu is a settlement mostly occupied by ABU lecturers, staff of Nigerian College of Aviation Technology and Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria.

A resident of the area told one of our correspondents that the bandits stormed the area around 1.30 am.

Meanwhile, the identities of those abducted could not be ascertained, but it was gathered that four of those kidnapped were members of the same family.

The source said the bandits shot indiscriminately into the air to scare other residents after which they went away with their victims unchallenged.

The Kaduna State Police Command’s spokesman, ASP Muhammed Jalige, could not be reached on his mobile phone to confirm the bandits’ attack.

It was further learnt that the attack on the village was coming barely a month when bandits attacked the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Training Centre and Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria and abducted scores of people.

Meanwhile, security has been beefed up by Authorities of Nigeria College of Aviation Technology, the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology, as well as the Ahmadu Bello University all in Zaria which are neighbouring the village.

Nairaland / General / Ex-naval Officer Fingers Insider Collaboration On NDA Attack by NAPC1(m): 10:22pm On Aug 25, 2021
Irked by the brazen attack on Nigeria’s premier military institution, Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) by “Unknown Gunmen” on Tuesday in Kaduna, a retired Navy Commodore Kunle Olawunmi, has fingered an insider collaboration.

He also calls for a stop to the use of military institutions as Praying Grounds on Friday, saying that the practice has allowed criminal elements to spy on military installations nationwide.

Speaking on Channels Television breakfast programme ‘Sunrise Daily’ on Wednesday on the topic: “Tackling National Security Challenges”, Olawunmi insists that such an audacious attack on a respected military institution like the NDA could not have been possible without an insider collaboration.

According to him: “It’s my belief that such attack on NDA could not have happened if some individuals inside did not collaborate with the invaders. As an Intelligence Officer, I know that no operation will succeed without the external body having inside collaborators”.

Olawunmi who is a Professor of Global Security Studies revealed that such collaborators are either induced with money or blackmailed to cooperate with the external invaders, pointing out that the military high commands should go after all those involved in the NDA attack.

The former Nigeria’s Military Defence Adviser in France however, asked the authorities not to go too far in search of how the water passed through the stem of pumpkin as long as military institutions are being used as Friday Praying Ground.

Said he: “I am surprised that the gates of our military barracks and installations are still being used as Friday Praying Grounds. Just anybody including terrorists are allowed unfettered access to the military formations every Friday for prayers.

Curiously, the gates of these sensitive military institutions are still being thrown wide open every Friday for the public to flood in for prayers. It has to stop immediately”.

Meanwhile, Commodore Olawunmi has lashed out at the federal government, saying that the ship of the nation is drifting dangerously towards the cliff if nothing urgent is done to halt the slid.

The ex-top Intelligence Officer blamed Nigerian journalists for not doing enough to hold political leaders to account, saying; “there is nothing that is going on in the society that journalists don’t know but they have chosen to keep quiet now”.

Asked if he allowed journalists to report everything they know of the military when he was in the service, Olawunmi said: “Military intelligence is not a secret cult. I have trained journalists when I was heading military information department and I made information available to them”.

Politics / Gov. Zulum: Boko Haram Killed Over 100,000 In 12 Years Of Borno Conflict by NAPC1(m): 9:19pm On Aug 25, 2021
Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum on Tuesday said over 100,000 people have been killed in the state in the last 12 years contrary to other claims on the numbers of persons killed by Boko Haram insurgents.

According to the governor, 10 percent of the population of Borno State is unaccounted for as many people in many communities in the state are still nowhere to be found even as the government is working towards resettling the communities returning after they had fled their homes at the peak of the crisis.

Professor Zulum made the revelations after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the statehouse in Abuja where he briefed the President on the activities of terrorists in the Northeast and particularly in Borno State.

He also briefed the President on the successes being recorded especially with the fighters currently submitting to the Nigerian troops.

The governor said while some Nigerians are of the opinion that the surrendered Boko Haram fighters be rejected, there is no reason for any community to reject them, adding that they are people living within the communities before the unfortunate incident.

“Those fighters who surrendered should be accepted and treated well and should not be rejected in their communities. That is the only way to show them the difference by loving them because they have repented from their mistakes,” the governor said.

Zulum also told Newsmen that, so far, a total of 2,600 former terrorists and fighters have surrendered to the Nigerian military and are currently in the custody of the military.

He said ” Not all of them are criminals. Some of them are also victims, as such the need for communities to understand and welcome the fact that they have realized their shortcomings and are now turning in to be good citizens.”

He explained that many of those who are surrendering to troops are people who were forcefully conscripted and that they had to stay with the terrorists to stay alive.
” Some of them were small children when they were taken to join the terrorists, ” he added.

Zulum told journalists that, he was attacked over five times by the terrorists while moving from one end of Borno State to another end to ensure that he builds confidence in the people, a sacrifice which is also yielding result with terrorists giving up and coming out to submit themselves.

He said his administration will do everything possible to support the surrendered terrorists, adding that the government is not contemplating inducing the terrorists in order to have them surrendered but will work to ensure that those who surrender after profiling by the military return to their communities.

Politics / Kalu Thank Ikpeazu On His Rapid Response To Eventuate UNIJOS Students Of Abia by NAPC1(m): 10:08pm On Aug 23, 2021
Kudos to his Excellency, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Executive Governor of Abia State on his rapid response to evacuate University of Jos (UNIJOS) students of Abia State extraction from crisis.

Following the ongoing killings, plundering and pillaging of lives and properties in Plateau State where several scores had been sent to their early grave, leaving many injured and displaced within University of Jos metropolis and its surroundings, Governor Simon Lanlong of Plateau State has ordered the immediate closure of UNIJOS and placed a down to dusk curfew restricting movement within the school premises. These killings of defenceless Nigerians by mindless terrorists and religious fanatics had totally made Nigeria more or less war torn, shattered and enveloped in the risks of falling into fundamentalist fighters taking over the country if absolute care is not taken by APC led Federal Government to address the ugly trend. Talibans capture of Afghanistan, a hard lesson teacher!

This massacre had continued barely for weeks now and no formidable resistance had been launched against the killers. Southern Kaduna at the moment is a terror oriented zone to live in and operate on day to day basis by innocent citizens of this country due to uncontrolled butchering and kidnapping of helpless students in the area. Kastina and Zamfara are the companion premiers of them all in terms of wanton operations in banditry and other forms of violent crimes.

On daily basis, lives numbering in hindered are lost to reckless killings caused by insecurity across the country. In the midst of all these maladies, Presidency is busy spending tax payers money on convening committee to review 368 grazing reserves in 25 States to favour his kinsmen who had been in the deluge of crisis with farmers in different communities across the country. Most regrettable is that Our gallant security operatives often incur gross havoc and untold hardship leading to loss of their lives in the active discharge of their security duties either due to poor logistics or operational inefficiency caused by lack of federal government commitment to build on crime eradication.

Our thanks goes to Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu who in his prime dedication to service of his people as Abia State governor has swiftly dispatched a rescue and evacuation team under the watch of his Special Assistant on Students Affairs, Mr. Chibuzo Ndom to Jos to evacuate Abia students stranded in UNIJoS following the bloody riot breathing seriously over there. It demonstrates sense of love and stewardship for ones people. It also depicts the governors ardent and passionate commitment to the security of his people above any other thing.

Global Initiatives For Good Governance (GIGG) is sincerely thankful to the Governor, and all the evacuation team, praying that God will continue to be with you all for taking the bulls by the horns to save our people from premature death. Dr. Ikpeazu, as you go on delivering democratic dividends to Ndi Abia despite all odds, you will continue to be moving from strength to strength.

Finally, we advise that the returning Students be re admitted into their various areas of academic disciplines in Abia State University, Uturu according to their years of curriculum for the completion of their studies. This would help them feel a good sense of belonging and also get their parents have rest of mind on their childrens safety in ancestral soil.

Religion / Patrick Eholor Slams Apostle Suleiman Over Another Sex Scandal Allegation by NAPC1(m): 5:03pm On Aug 22, 2021
Popular social crusader, Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor has condemned the sex scandal rocking the Senior Pastor and General Overseer, Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman.

Nollywood actress, Ifemeludike Chioma Grace, confessed to have slept with the Senior Pastor and General Overseer, Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman twice.

According to the young actress, who recently got baptised at Redeemed Christian Church of God, the general overseer paid her over five hundred thousand to sleep with her.

The actress further revealed that she had no idea that the man of God was quite prominent at the time she had intercourse with him. She also stated that her public confession came after her spirit continued to torment her, and she needed to restitute for her sin.

She further went on to advise young women who may have committed such sin in the past to seek God for forgiveness and mend their ways.

Sharing the video on her Instagram page, she wrote;

‘‘Dear @lyndaclems, I have to tell the world about that hookup you arrange between @johnson_suleman_official and myself on the 20th November 2016 in a hotel at Ikeja, the apostle secretly gave me his number and we had a second meeting at oriental hotels Lagos. I’m sorry my conscience can’t hold it anymore. I encourage you to tell the truth as a mother and a Christian, to put the devil to shame and save millions of souls been misled… To my family and friends, I am sorry, don’t judge me please pray for me so the light of God will continue to expose every works of darkness in my life and the church of God…”

Reacting to the allegation, Eholor urged Suleiman to stop bringing shame to the body of Christ through his shameful actions.

He advised the clergy to imbibe the exemplary lifestyle of Jesus Christ who is a model to all christians by practicing the teachings of Jesus Christ.

According to him, the action of the clergy was drifting away from the teachings of Christ noting that some pastors of this generation has failed christianity and humanity through their disgusting and shameful actions.

"The satisfaction of the church was the welfare of members and the success of the church was seen in the number of lives touched and it therefore offered safe haven to people in various distress situations such as those needing food, clothing, accommodation, financial relief, treatment of debilitating illnesses such as leprosy and mental disorders and several others.

"As the church ministered to the needs of members and their lives got better they brought the proceeds of the works of their hands in form of tithes and offerings to God at Sunday services, thanksgiving and harvest ceremonies. With these, more cathedrals, mission schools, orphanages, maternity homes and farms were built.

"But it is a different case today; Apostle Suleiman in particular is always in the news for the wrong reason. This same Suleiman had during the pandemic told the world how he got a third private jet and was praying for the virus to remain.

Eholor who is the President of One Love Foundation also condemned the incessant abuse of the girl child. He advocated for more protection of the girl child, especially victims of rape.

"Victims of rape often feel that no one would believe them if they told people about their ordeal. For a victim, finally having someone who knows the truth about their struggles can bring a sense of hope and relief.

"Offer the victim these assurances:

I believe you
This is not your fault
You don't deserve this.Validate the Victim's Feelings
It's not unusual for victims to express conflicting feelings about their their situation. These feelings can range from:

"Guilt and anger
Hope and despair
Love and fear
If you want to help, it is important that you validate her feelings by letting her know that having these conflicting thoughts is normal. But it is also important that you confirm that violence is not okay, and it isn't normal to live in fear of being physically or sexually abused.

"Men and men of God, we have to stop victimizing the women; Let’s give them our full support so they can express themselves freely.

"A lot of them have been raped; a lot of them have been shamefully disgraced, a lot of them have been a victim, a lot of them are depressed..

"They are some very good pastors out there, learn how to do good instead of reading verses from the Bible you do not understand.

"Let’s worship God in truth and spirit. Together we can stop the brain wash that our ancestors are our problem in Africa. Those who brought Christianity to us in Africa treat us as slaves, I have never seen them disrespecting their ancestors. We should retraced our history back by loving our neighbors the same way we love ourselves."

Politics / Where Is The Integrity Of Gov Willie Obiano On Accountability & Good Governance? by NAPC1(m): 9:06pm On Aug 21, 2021
In leadership, what paves ways for integrity and honour is when the leaders entrusted and saddled with the roles of governance lead by examples by fielding polices and development plans capable of transforming the society from sorry state to excellence. Leading by examples denotes the readiness of leaders to run an open door policy where every drop of their decisions and actions in government are neutrally subjected to scrutiny, watchfulness and accountability thereby restoring the public confidence in public affairs and governance.

Global Initiatives For Good Governance (GIGG), an umbrella body in socio- political platforms whose responsibilities are to scale, assess and evaluate the performances or otherwise of leaders in our contemporary society and make public comments to that effect. To whom much was given, much is also expected in turns from him and this statement is credited to Chief Willy Obiano, the Executive governor of Anambra State on the current status of his credibility in the discharge of his statutory functions to the people of Anambra State.

With facts and of figures in our possession,we are querying his level of credibility, fairness and performance from the day of his inauguration as governor till date, citing the level of mindless looting and diversion of public funds he had personally carried out so far in the office of the governor of his State. Our functions as a light indicator in observing the workings of things in governance through intelligent gathering have carefully studied and investigated to some reasonable extent and uninhibitedly confirmed piles of looting, misappropriation and mismanagement of funds traceable to Governor Wily Obiano in the United States of America.

Confirmation has it that he personally secured for his private use and ownership several apartment complexes worth billions of dollars in USA regardless of how the poor, destitute and the unemployed suffer in the in the face of these excesses and recklessness. These are funds that could have been channelled to developing education sector, greater healthcare facilities, road projects and agricultural grants to farmers in the State to attract monumental and overall infrastructural development in Anambra State. It is imperative to state that erosion mishaps had been one of the environmental hazards facing various communities in Anambra State that this huge chunk of diverted funds could have been utilized to address the situations.

Furthermore, if these misappropriated funds are invested in agriculture, it would go a long way in increasing, revamping and revitalizing the economy of the State by boasting maximum production of goods and services. Anambra State is one of the major food baskets of the nation where local rice, yam, cereal crops and other economic trees survive and grow, this funds personally coveted could have helped the State in achieving milestones of success in this area of life.

What baffles us as critical analysts of merits and demerits of actions displayed by political leaders is; where is the conscience of most leaders today and this very Governor is at the moment working very hard to ensure he gets his party win the forthcoming governorship election in the State by hiding under the philosophy cloack of our respected Igbo leader of blessed memory, Chief Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu, the founder of APGA to perpetrate and perpetuate injustice, corruption and avarice against the will of Ndi Anambra.

We, therefore demand accountability in the leadership of the governor as this body is ready, willing and eager to publish evidences capable of proving beyond reasonable doubts that Obiano s government looted and is still looting Anambra State treasury. In our service to mankind, there is no sacred cow treated with kids glove as we work to ensure the right thing is done to ride Nigeria of blatant corrupt leaders who come to power to amass wealth and abuse public trusts.

Politics / Solidarity And Mobilization Drive For Mr. Valentine Ozigbo Governorship Ambition by NAPC1(m): 10:39pm On Aug 12, 2021
Having achieved greater portions and milestone of our party's blueprints for excellence, PDP Coalition in her discretion and commitment declares her unflinching support for the candidacy of Mr. Valentine Ozigbo as the PDP flag bearer in the November 6th, 2021 forthcoming Anambra State governorship election. Our decision is founded on the basis of excellence and total allegiance to the party's philosophy built on working to provide meaningful leadership for Anambra people and Nigeria in general.

Mr. Ozigbo is a man of integrity, direction, full of intelligence quotients needed to lead Anambra to a commanding height of excellence when enthroned. PDP Coalitions determination to work and ensure the success of the flag bearers ambition is predicated on the fact that this forthcoming election is winnable for the party, therefore calling on all stakeholders to come out em mass and make it happen. The party management is encouraged to make actions-oriented inputs capable of bringing victory to the Party's doorstep. It gladdens my heart seeing the stamina, bearing and charismatic qualities of PDP party stakeholders in the State professionally anointed with intellectual and political experiences that will get the party sure victory in the polls. Through well harnessed voter education, robust campaign and wining the heart of the people, victory is guaranteed for the party. My ecstasy also reads greener each time I turn to see Senator Lilian Uche Ekwunife as the steering handler of the party's Campaign Council. She is a woman of integrity that any thing entrusted in her care always fields fruitful results. Anambra is yearning for transformations, the time is now; she is craving for economic development, voting PDP is the key and stakeholders have all it takes to actualize this possible dream come, the election day.

From zero to infinity, Ndi Anambra are solidly behind Val Ozigbo as a young blood ready to do every necessary thing within his administrative power to revitalize, prosper and elevate the State to a centre point of attraction.

It is time for power to change hands and I besiege every living souls within the votable age in the 21 LGAs of the State to rise and support this credible, innovative and purpose driven personality by voting him into power as governor of Anambra State following the conduct and conclusion of the fast nearing gubernatorial election on the 6th day of November, 2021.

There is no time to waste, there is no time to go slumberland, there is no time for idle interaction. It is time for commitment and action which speaks louder than words. Together we make it happen.

Politics / It Is Time To Make Success Inputs And A Time To Bury The Hatchets - Kalu by NAPC1(m): 2:26pm On Aug 12, 2021
Once more, under the auspices of PDP Coalition and her management staff, I am delighted to thank all stakeholders, PDP Governors Forum, BOT, National Working Committee, Party Executive, former governors, former Ministers, serving National Assembly caucus Members, youths and women wings of this great party for their respective Contributions to ensure a breathe of fresh air and resolution of crisis that rocked the Party recently. The Tuesday meeting of all the party lovers in Abuja saw an end to the internal misunderstanding that plagued the party with resultant testimony of structural harmonization, pacification of individual grievances and proffering of lasting solutions for the conduct of Party National Convention which had been brought forward to October instead of the usual December 2021. All these steps were taken to ensure all nerves were calmed for unity and harmony to thrive successfully.

Having achieved this great deal of success in stitching the wounds and militating crisis of the party, it behoves every member of PDP family across the Federation and in diaspora to work committedly in making inputs to ensure PDP takes over government following the conduct of 2023 general elections. This is expected to be the drive and focus of each and everyone of us, all stakeholders no matter one's ranking. We are all equal in contributions as no effort is ever undermined or overrated beneath or over the other in this liberation race for a better Nigeria now and in future.

Citing a publication made on the 11th August 2021 by a faceless individual who didn't mention his names but made available to Vanguard blaming Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for not intervening in the the recently resolved crisis is a bad signal and should not be allowed to crop up any further. The accuser spoke in anonymity that Atiku stood on the fence through out the crisis having forgotten that the former Vice President had called for calm twice since the emergence of the resolved minor fracas. Here, I want to make it abundantly clear that Atiku did not instigate nor fuel any crisis that rocked Prince Secondus led NWC. His drive has been for peace to reign and accusing him of staying aloof from the crisis in the party is a sign of calumny and fanning the flame of recurrence in a period that excellence has taken over the party affairs.

Speaking in anonymity means hiding under the cloak of back door to collide Atiku s body against the party family, thereby re-invigorating the already doused tensions. We are all advised to tread the path of bringing ideas and initiatives that would transform the mind of Nigerians to vote PDP in 2023 than re invoking crisis. Not good that we have resolved and at the same time re-enkindling, aiding and abetting ills capable of further reinforcing troubles.

Anambra State governorship election is at the nook, the party is bound to work towards winning the election, our National Convention is fast approaching, the party is expected to start making inputs to ensure smooth operations, the party will surely conduct primary elections for elective posts - all these should be the centre point of our discourse not going back to old things that had been settled, dusted and harmonized.

Finally, this party is moving forward and gates of crisis cannot prevail. I want to commend the party once again for peaceful resolution and decisions reached after her Tuesday meeting; also saying kudos to the National family of the party for choosing an amiable, intelligent and purpose driven woman of virtues, Senator Lilian Uche Ekwunife to lead Anambra PDP Governorship Campaign Council. It is a round peg in a round hole! I wouldn't decline to commend the efforts of the party's legal team in all the litigation exercises and success made so far. With our concerted efforts as a family under one umbrella, our victory is sure and guaranteed!

All Hails PDP!
United for Action!
Bundled Under one Philosophy!
Marching To Excellence Ad Infinitum!

Politics / Kalu Congratulations Senator Uche Ekwunife On Her Appointment As Chairperson by NAPC1(m): 4:35pm On Aug 09, 2021
Congratulations To Senator Uche Ekwunife On Her Appointment As Chairperson, Valetine Ozigbo Governorship Campaign Council; PDP Family, Sit Up For The Job Ahead:

The healthy and enriching news thriving all round social media platforms on the appointment of Senator Uche Ekwunife as Chairperson, Valetine Ozigbo Governorship Campaign Organisation in the forthcoming November 6th gubernatorial election is square peg in a square hole. Ekwunife is the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial district in the Red Chamber of the 9th National Assembly. As a woman of virtues with committed sense of leadership and wisdom, this new cap fits her and with God and the people of Anambra on her side, she will pilot the affairs of the Campaign Council successfully, leading to victory of our great party (PDP) in the governorship election.

In the same vein, kudos to the PDP Governors forum under the banner of Gov. Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State who took the bull by the horns to ensure reconciliation and oneness amongst aggrieved stakeholders and aspirants to sincerely join forces with other party members to support the candidacy of Mr. Valetine Ozigbo who is the party's flag bearer in the fast approaching guber election. It shows that we uphold the interest of the party higher above personal ambitions of respective members. It captures the spirit of unbundled umbrella oneness of this great party.

For the ebullient and season administrator in the person of Mr. Valetine Ozigbo, your decision in line with the National body of the party under the watch of Prince Uche Secondus to have chosen Senator Ekwunife for this great task is a pointer to your having the winning day on the election considering Senator Ekwunife's in-built charisma in mobilising and winning people 's heart both in political and social platforms.

Now that these milestones of success had been recorded and all logistics provided for entry into the political wrestling ring, I crave the indulgence of every living soul in PDP family and all Anambraians to support the aspiration of Valetine Ozigbo who is the best capable hands for transformations and development of the State when enthroned as the Chief Security Officer of the State. The good name this great party enjoys in the hands of Nigerians in the present day situations the country face must be truly exploited to ensure victory at the polls. After nerves of crisis tranquilized, then come peace and unity which is the cornerstone of striking success nail on the head in every contest of life. That is to say that everyone is strongly needed and no one is ever attempted to be neglected in this race to a greater glory.

A bunch of brooms is hardly broken by hands, in the same way would PDP family remain united and concerted in her drive to take over the government of Anambra following the conduct of the said governorship election in the State.

It is invariably pertinent to note that when a house is divided, it won't stand the forces of external aggressions, in like manner, PDP must not allow any iota of confusion, mischief, harboured or calculated grievances to deny her the chances of winning this already divinely prepared position in Anambra State. Nigerians need real change and PDP cannot afford to loose this election having understood that the people heap their hope for real Change in PDP that has a scorecard of excellence unlike the present government of the day.

I besiege all Anambra people within the votable age to come out en mass and vote this great party into power. I am glad to see that Mr.Ozigbo is a young man driven by visions of a better tomorrow for Anambra people citing his wealth of experiences in the management board of Transcorps and other areas he has served in the course of his career. "The charcoal flame given to a son by his advising father does not hurt him" so said proverbially in igboland and her cultural antecedents. I am proud of Mr. Ozigbo as the flag bearer, for his is kind hearted, accommodating, transparent and intellectually equipped to govern the State with record of achievements when elected and inaugurated into office.PDP all the way...!

God bless PDP,
God bless Ndi Anambra,
God bless Senator Ekwunife and All Party Stakeholders,
God bless Val Ozigbo/Mrs Azuka Enemuo - Flag bearers.

Politics / Kalu Bemoans PDP Leadership Crisis by NAPC1(m): 6:23pm On Aug 06, 2021
The People’s Democratic Party Coalition (PDPCO) has reacted to the sudden and unexpected resignation of seven national officers of the party and the call by the National Youth Leader, Ude Okoye, demanding the immediate resignation of Uche Secondus from his position as the National Chairman of the party.

Chief Emeka Kalu, National Coordinator, People Democratic Party Coalition (PDPCO), in a statement made available to newsmen described the rifts in the party as uncalled for when it was needed by most Nigerians as the only hope and platform for reviving the country.

According to him, “It is very pathetic and disheartening to see our devoted deputy national officers resign their offices when the world is having a dim of hope of transformations in the government of this country following the lopsidedness of the present government.

“On behalf of this umbrella body, I besiege all aggrieved members of the party to sheath their swords and allow peace a thriving chance to enable PDP to succeed in line with the greater expectations of Nigerians now and 2023.

“We all know that this party has a window platform for lodgment of complaints and grievances which was expected of the resigned officers to have approached for resolution than dropping their pen and papers and left just like that.”

Kalu pleaded: “We humbly ask that these officers be invited for an emergency meeting where their points of reservations would be heard, treated, resolved and dusted.

Politics / Time To Harmonize And Re-integrate For Victory, Come 6th Nov. 2021 In Anambra by NAPC1(m): 9:16pm On Jul 15, 2021
With all sense of concern and instinct for victory, I, Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu, the National Coordinator of PDP Coalition write to reiterate the need for Peoples Democratic Party in Anambra State to quickly go to the business of the day by working assiduously to harmonize the party structure through interactions and interfacing with all stakeholders, youths, women wing, chieftains and aggrieved members for reconciliation and harmonization. Party leadership succeeds through harmony and unity not via factions and fragmentations.

Recall that during the primaries on the 26th June, 2021 in Late Prof Dora Akinyili Women development centre, Awka, there were series of lopsided handling of the delegates, horse trading and vote buying that led most aspirants who lost in the congress aggrieved and they began to seek the face of other party platforms. There was even a faction of the party that conducted its primaries in a different locations giving the factional ticket to SEN Ugochukwu UBA, All this deluge of fragility does not make any sense nor does it speak hope for victory.

I crave the indulgence of the Party flag bearer and his campaign team to immediately constitute a harmonization rally that would re integrate and re absorb all aggrieved members into one fold bond of unity. The party is expected to begin inclusive mobilization and campaign through door to door familiarization tour, town hall symposia and sensitized electioneering that would make the good of people of Anambra believe in the partys blueprints and manifestoes.

This calls for the fact that nobody must be neglected but a forum of popular relationship with the electorates be created for solidarity and voting strength. It was in the face of faction and internal misunderstanding that paved way for the current governor of Anambra State to be re elected because aggrieved tickets contestants schemed, took money from other parties and delivered in favour of them. So sad indeed to have this situation repeat itself.

I also advise that the flag bearer and the party start empowering Anambra youths as a yardstick to show that he is going to run a development and inclusive government when voted into office. Unity is a salient factor that guarantees victory, for no kingdom wins a war in divisibility.

Only only on the Party state chapter in Anambra but also extends to the national drawing board that on its own needs leadership re shaping and re structuring where people of younger age bracket with sound intellctual mind and strength to work will be ushered in to pilot the affairs of the party. An older thing is always replaced with new ones for enhancement and positive results. Party politics is looking for those who can humble themselves to walk on foot to the doorstep of an old man in the village, spend time with him and convince him to vote for you with all readiness to respond to all his inquiries about the credibility of your party. With this in place, we are good to go.

Politics / Zamfara: PDP Coalition Warns Police Against Partisanship, Intimidation Of Gusau by NAPC1(m): 1:52am On Jul 13, 2021
Press Statement
13-7-2021

The attention of the People's Democratic Party Coalition has been drawn to the unwholesome disposition of the Nigerian police who, out of omission or commission, have chosen to play by the script of All Progressive Congress in aiding and abetting impunity in Zamfara State over the intended persecution of the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State for standing on the path of honour, not compromising his values as a believer in fairness, justice and equity.

We wish to state categorically and unequivocally without sounding ambiguous that the PDP family will not, I repeat, will never stand by and watch, folding our arms while our member is intimidated or maligned by the same police who are supposed to be
the defenders of all good citizens without succumbing to antics of partisanship, no matter what inducement, enticement or cajoling from the ruling party, APC.

It should be clear enough that our nation as a Democratic entity is governed by rules, norms and dictates that makes us a civilized people, we should never at any point as a people begin to hold the wish of any singular party as sacrosanct and the law, lest we descend into anarchy.

It will be worthy of note to remind the Police and whom it may concern, that the mandate of Zamfara State was given to PDP and not Matawale, and in a situation where he has chosen to abandon it and move off to the next party whom the mandate was lawfully taken away from, should know that he must relinquish the said power to the next in line as the law provisioned that the power must reside within PDP by the judgment that brought Matawale to power. Maybe Matawale should've sought for an interpretation before hastily making the move to bite the fingers that fed him.

Truthfully, this is a time the Police should be in defence of justice and not acting as errand boys to a desperate party out to intimidate as intimidating the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Gusau, a man loved by his people will be tantamount to infringement and possibly descend into anarchy, Gusau must not be subjected to ill-treatment of any kind because the voice of the masses is the voice of God.

The good people of Zamfara State have made their position know, they know where their love resides, it must be respected and upheld by the relevant laws of the land who must at the demand of justice protect the same.

The law is clear on the circumstances in Zamfara state, therefore, the law enforcement agencies must be circumspect.

Politics / His Excellency, Barr Madhi Aliyu Gausau, The Political Asset For Zamfara State by NAPC1(m): 8:51am On Jul 12, 2021
Excitement thrives when one is feeling positively touched by either an action or presence of a personality that appeals to one s heart. It makes a moment of elation driven by feelings of happiness commending the deeds of a man whose character is not objectionable. It explains the degree of public approval one enjoys in the face of achievements. On behalf of this great umbrella vanguard, People s Democratic Party Coalition (PDPCO), I write to commend this dauntless leader for his courage, focus and preparedness to deliver Zamfara people from yokes of failures, insecurity and other adminstrative backlashes come 2023. Following his brief meeting with the leadership of PDP in the 14 Local Government Councils he assembled today, Barr Aliyu has reinstated his commitment to ensure PDP takes the field day in Zamfara State through sensitization, mobilization, orientation and enhancement of the people. Your Excellency Sir, your address today after the harmonization meeting proved that you are a personality reckon with.

An astute, pragmatic and visionary leader who puts the interests of his people first above his own personal needs. This sense of altruism is what actually makes a leader; this character position earns a leader the respect and confidence of his people. Show me a man who is bent on defending the course of his people and I will tell you whom a purposeful leader is.Time and space speaks for him while green trees chills their aura atmospheric breeze mellowing fresh air of joy on his territories. With these features, you come to realize whom a sensible and committed leader is.

As a Chieftain of this great party under whose watch this Coalition operates, I sincerely commend your tenacity and well articulated media address to the people of Zamfara State following your brainstorming session today with party supporters and stakeholders.

In this regard, the people of Zamfara State are hereby beckoned to throw bundle support to this young but seasoned leader who tallies in style of leadership with those of Abhraham Lincoln and Aristotle of the iron and stone age. Judging from your state of mind to have remained resolute in the face of defection pressures, you are the "ONE" the King delights to honour in Zamfara come 2023. Only a leader of conscience could do what you have successfully done in the face of political harlotry and intra party bottlenecks rocking Nigeria party politics at the moment.

Pragmatic leadership is not measured by numbers of money bags in possession rather it thrives in the hands of one who sides truth in the heat of opposition; articulate leadership does not mean running from pillars to posts rather it radiates in the presence of actions put in place to greener the lives of the people under one s watch. As recorded are what this great man of principles has shown the world how best to trade in the forex floor of leadership by examples.

Your Excellency Sir, your names are written on the golden walls of the heart of Zamfara people as well as those who cherish trust and its values. In your younger age, you have demonstrated examples for elders who could have been your guidance and mentors to follow. What an irony of situation but from all indications, that is how providence and natural tendencies wants it for hidden reasons best to known to the political mysteries - The Invisible... Nigerians are obliged to learn from this wonderful show of dispositions and mentor their lives better.

Politics / Dr. Kalu Gives A Piece Of Raphsody For His Excellency, Rt Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi by NAPC1(m): 1:48am On Jul 05, 2021
With deep sense of excitement and honour, I pick my ball - point pen to write and felicitate with this committed, examplary lion building and projects- driven governor of our time, Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Executive Governor of Enugu State. A Governor whose heart for even development and successful leadership is an immense one. A champion of administrative competency, lover of good things and promoter of progressive democracy of our modern age. The same governor that has taken Enugu State to the height of excellence. One of the steering rods of "Ebeano" politics in Enugu State.

On behalf of Peoples Democratic Party Coalition (PDPCO) and my Political Vanguard, it really becomes a call of duty to write and appreciate your style of political leadership for the betterment of the good people of Enugu State. Your remarkable achievements so far speak tasteful with an aura of fragrance on the individual body of Enugu people and also on the collective symbol of performance leadership. I confirmed these good tidings when I visited places in the State and what I saw dropped joy in my heart.

Your Excellency Sir, I must commend your efforts because good deeds and happiness are inseparable sisters from the same womb. Your patrern of running an inclusive government to accommodate people from all walks of life in your cabinet shows that you are the right key on the door lock. Interestingly, your goodwill mindset of spreading your development and projects tentacles across the three senatorial zones of the State drives home the sincerity of your love for Ndi Enugu and its environs.

Furthermore, it is a thing of joy to have a leader who leads by good example, here you have truly demonstrated it sir and they are not hidden except in the eyes of misguided critics who see leadership as a tool to amass wealth and release strokes of vengeance on their self made enemies.

Sir, my advice as you journey in the functions of greening Enugu State is to ensure that this relationship you have built with civil servants, traders, industrialists, students and the youth are fully cemented and continuously enjoy the anointing of cordiality at all time. This will help you serve the people well in your remaining governorship days and descend from the seat with accolades of honour and then climb higher ones with banners of celebration, doing exploits in all facets of life.

Enugu People and Nigerians speak good of you and your government. In every call for service in government, there is always an opposition. This opposition is a welcome development because it measures the degree of success and failures of democracy, it helps you listen to all people and be able to pick pieces from their complaints or dissatisfaction and address them. No leader is perfect indeed and that is why they are humans, that is why opposition is built around them for healthy or unhealthy criticism. Work with them, buy their ideas and contributions, provided they are in line with reasonable course of ideas in man.

Once more, Kudos, Your Excellency. In Proverbs quote: "The charcoal of flames given into a sons hands by his father does not hurt him". The job is not bigger than you nor are you bigger than the job. Keep it up and let the candle continue burning off its wax. In the end, you will be glad to thank God to have enabled you serve your people accordingly with all sense of readiness to account for it any time any day you are asked how. All hails, the wonderful Governor!

Thanks and God Bless.

Politics / Nnamdi Kanu's Arrest And The Need For Caution - Kalu by NAPC1(m): 10:12pm On Jul 01, 2021
Following wide range news circulating in the social media regarding the arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra by the Federal Government Security operatives and his extradition to Nigeria for continuation of prosecution on treason allegation charges against him, Federal government is advised to be cautious and reasonable in handling him. As a person with dual citizenship under the watch of British Government arrested in Kenya and handed over to Nigeria Security forces, he (KANU) deserves fair hearing, fair treatment and all professional cares must be taken to ensure he does not die in custody. The jubilation making round the width and length of this country on the arrest of the IPOB Leader should not been seen as a success celebration of having finally apprehended "the clog in the wheel of Nigeria" but should be seen as a mark of government commitment to entrench peace and tranquility in the country.

The volatile and fragile conditions of the Nigeria State today is not something that the Government should handle with aggressive or brutal show of force. This is a democratic dispensation where Rule of Law prevails and reigns supreme. The provisions of Intl law on Conflict Resolutions, UNO Charters on Fundamental Human Rights Protection and Self Determination must be properly followed in handling a high profile case of this nature to avoid regrettable mistakes. The Nigeria we see today belongs to all of us and nobody or ethnic group has monopoly of ownership of our dear Country, Nigeria.

It stands to reason that killings, terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other handful of crimes are condemned as " Evil" in any contemporary society, so we must live to stand by the side of truth which is a force that cannot be suppressed no matter how we hate it. Federal government is hereby cautioned and advised to apply the same technical security professionalism to tackle herdsmen killings, banditry and Book haram insurgency that have been ravaging all nooks and crannies of Nigeria. It is crystal clear that since herdsmen have been attacking farms and farmers across the Nation with resultant disaster, none of the culprits has ever been arrested, interrogated let alone prosecution instead the Federal government is bent on re invoking the purported gazette for grazing routes which the 1999 Constitution has no provisions for. It is a pity that Nigerians are being killed on daily basis by these attackers without repulsive resistance from the Nigeria Security forces. In the words of Uttoman Dan Fodio," Conscience is an open wound, only truth can heal it". Today where is the conscience in the Federal Government to condemn all these ills and at the same time proffer meaningful solutions to tackle them?

We are living in a fragile society where truth is manipulated into falsehood. Nigerians are tired of bad news and insecurity. We are tired of hunger and high handedness, we are fed up with man s inhumanity to man. We are tired of failure of polices and its attendant bureaucratic bottlenecks.

In the case of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, it is a sensitive issue that requires proper administrative professionlism and Federal government under the watch of President Buhari is advised to be judicious in the management of the case because of its sensitivity. Terrorism is a condemnable act in the heart of every right thinking man so Government is encouraged to fight and prevent it at all costs. Government must do everything in her power to ensure that carrot hands are not given to others while another is treated with brutality.

Dialogue is important in this context as the government opens a door for it. Federal should endeavour to create an enabling ground for peaceful dialogue not only with IPOB but with other ethnic nationalities agitating for self rule and restructuring of our nations fiscal federalism. This window for peace does not mean weakness on the part of government but it is one of the bureaucratic keys by which the gate of justice and equity are opened in a democratic and justice - oriented government.

Politics / EXCLUSIVE: Nnamdi Kanu Was Arrested In Czech Republic, Not United Kingdom by NAPC1(m): 8:19pm On Jun 29, 2021
The Federal government has arrested the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

Against the report that Kanu was arrested in the UK, Kanu was arrested in Czech Republic

A very competent source told thenigeriadaily that Kanu travelled from England to Singapore before heading to Czech Republic on Friday .

The source said with the tip off from the Czech Republic officials to Nigeria government, the IPOB leader was arrested on Saturday in Prague, Czech Republic.

The attorney General has also disclosed that Kanu would be taken before the Federal High Court in Abuja for the continuation of his trial on charges bordering on terrorism, treasonable felony, unlawful possession of firearms and management of an unlawful society.

Recall that Kanu was granted bail in April 2017 on health grounds but skipped bail after flouting some of the conditions given to him by the court. He has been on the run since then. Justice Binta Nyako who granted his bail on grounds of his ill health later revoked it on March 28, 2019 and issued a Bench warrant for his arrest in any part of the country.

Politics / Kalu Laments, Predicts Possible Doom For PDP In Anambra If Nothing Is Done Fast by NAPC1(m): 10:07am On Jun 23, 2021
The National Coordinator of PDP Coalition, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu, has expressed serious concern over the fate of PDP in Amambra State, especially in regards to the present political activities that has continued to get more blurred in terms of focus for the party before and after the election.

In a statement he personally signed and made available to the Press, Chief Kalu pointed out that the money politics going on in the party is making it impossible for the party leadership to pragmatically decide on who will be "qualified" to take the party's ticked based on pedigree and ability to win the masses, rather it is fashioned as a game for the highest bidder in the race, to win all and take all, a definition of doom for the party if nothing is done fast.

Before now, I used to hear the lamentations that most leaders climb the ladder of politics and turn their backs on the people that fought for them. The truth is that such leaders always believe that the cash they threw around had taken care of your demand, and so he believed he owe you nothing, neither does he owe the masses he also bought at a huge price. This is the kind of politics we must all frown at, yet this is exactly what is playing out in Anambra State.

My predictions about the election and warning

The way things are going in Anambra will spell doom for the party (PDP). For instance, when all the aspirants are going around throwing money here and there, expecting to clinch the party ticket, whereas we all know that it is only one individual that will clinch the ticktet. After all those money spending, the fate of the party will come to jeopardy because we created room for failure out of greed.

From my investigation, most of the aspirants are already approaching other political parties to see if they can swing over when PDP fails, in order words, they are ready to jump off as soon as they rock the boat.

This clearly explains that these individuals and their support base will work against the interest of the party in the General election. Therefore, we need to choose candidates not by the amount of money they are throwing around, rather let us look inwards and chose men that will work for the party, people that have loyalty, consistency and people that can run inclusive government

We need to be careful working with these money bags that are throwing money around to get PDP's Ticket , as we all see how most of them defect from our party to other for some personal aggrandizement. We therefore need to look beyond money for the sake of this great election.

On the other hand, the money you collect from these individuals is clearly a sign that you have sold your right to spearhead any criticism against them when it matters most because they have already paid. We need to change that mentality now if we must win in Anambra State.

The party need to work with party faithfuls and people with pedigree not these ones all these ones throwing money around to get power by all means.

ISSUES EVERYWHERE: Church Bishop Makes A Comprehensive List Of Adulterous Pastors and Politicians In Isoko (Photos)

Church Bishop, Don Simon Osieme has compiled a comprehensive list of all adulterous pastors and politicians across Isoko land in Delta State.

Focus Naija can report that the cleric took to social media to announce his readiness to publish the list immediately after his children arrive safely in Texas, USA.

According to him, the list contains profile cases of adultery perpetrated by pastors and politicians with whom, when and where.

He said he started a socio-physio-tele-audio-spiritual investigation into the activities of the adulterous duo after so much preaching against the act that is considered an attempted murder.

However, he mentioned that the case of a particular pastor that slept with the wife of a prince from Olomoro was not included because he did not deny making out with the wife of the prince and also paid the mandatory adultery fees, goat, plantain ,yam and other requirements.

A legal luminary and Abia born philanthropist, Mr. Etigwe Uwa, SAN empowered 25 persons with MTN Lumos mobile electricity solar system as he received an Award as the "Ambassador of Christ" from the Men's Christian Association (MCA), of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Ehere Model Parish Aba, Abia State, in recognition of his selfless service to God and humanity.

The award was presented to the legal luminary by the Minister in-Charge of Ehere Model Parish, Very Rev. Israel Iduma Chukwu during the grand finale of 2021 Father's Day celebration at the church auditorium.

The Minister thanked Mr. Uwa for his giant strides in bringing justice, equity and inclusiveness in his professional engagements, adding that it was only leaders who have the spirit of God in them could take the bold step of serving Him and humanity selflessly.

According to his citation, he attended Methodist Boys’ High School and King’s College, both in Lagos.

He is a law graduate of the University of Lagos. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK and was in 2009 conferred with the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

He holds a Masters Degree in International Relations and Finance from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy of the Tufts University Boston. He is currently studying to obtain a second Masters Degree in Taxation at the University of Oxford.

Etigwe Uwa is a legal practitioner and Senior Partner at the commercial law firm of Streamsowers & Kohn where he heads the firm’s litigation and Arbitration departments.

He led the team of lawyers who represented the victims of the Pfizer Trovan Drug clinical trial in Kano. 11 of the children who were involved in the trial died on the spot and 189 others had varying degrees of deformity. The case was fought in Kano Abuja and New York and went up to the United States Supreme Court before a settlement was achieved. That settlement led to the building of a $30 Million ultra Morden diagnostic hospital in Kano and payment of compensation to all the victims of the drug trial.

He also pioneered securities class actions in Nigeria when in 2007 he filed a class action against First Bank of Nigeria PLC to obtain compensation by way of interests for subscribers to the First Bank Hybrid public offer of 2007 whose monies were kept for almost 9 months and whose application for shares were rejected without payment of reasonable interests on the monies paid as deposit for shares. He is the Chairman of Lumos Nigeria which in partnership with MTN provides mobile electricity through solar panels to over 120 thousand customers in Nigeria. He is also the Chairman of NOI Polls Limited a company which pioneered opinion polling in Nigeria in partnership with Gallup Polls of the US.

He is a director of Mara Phones Nigeria, the first African company to embark on the manufacture of smartphones having ultra Morden smartphones factories in Rwanda, South Africa and in the process of setting up one in Nigeria.

He is currently the Acting Chairman of the Board of the African University for Science and Technology Abuja. He served as Chairman of TrustBond Mortgage Bank Plc between 2013 and 2019. He drafted The Civil Aviation Bill 2003 which has been passed as the Civil Aviation Act 2006.

Etigwe, in his response on the award conferred on him by the Church, expressed his profound gratitude to the Church and to God and promised to do for humility and for God's work.

He further asserted that it was quite surprising that those who belonged to a much more enlightened generation have decided to politicize issues of insecurity as such parochial thinking was antithetical to the stride of any generation or society to make any progress.

Uwa appealed to fathers to rise up to their parental responsibilities by helping government to arrest the high level of insecurity affecting the state and country.
