Politics / Debunking The Lies: News Of New UN State Is Fake - Kalu by NAPC1(m): 11:08pm On Jun 05, 2020
Our attention has been drawn to a fake news making the rounds that Nigeria will be losing 24 Councils to a new State/Nation that will be carved out of Cameroon.

We also understand that the peddlers of this wrong information are also insinuating that some parts of Adamawa will be carved out too, which they conclude will make some Nigerians to automatically belong to a new country altogether.

This rebuttal is to categorically dismiss this concution as mere rumour as there has not been any such arrangements or any such conclusion between Nigeria, the United Nation and/or any other body.

The rumour that Bama, Gwoza, Dikwa, Kala/Balge, Ngala councils and others will be ceceded to the UNO State of Cameroon is a campaign to smear and cook confusion and therefore should be ignored by every Nigerian. Nigeria remains one indivisible entity in need of the best leaders that will harness and turn her fortunes around.

Let us be properly guided.

Politics / My Case For Atiku: Separating Facts And Sentiments - Kalu by NAPC1(m): 9:34pm On Jun 04, 2020
There's a popular saying that tough times requires tough measures, and I am adding that the tough measures can only come from men who understand "times".

Haven said this, let me once again clarify that when I stood strong to support Alhaji Atiku in 2019, it was based on my believe that Nigeria needed a man that is strong enough to understand the dynamic complexities of the multifaceted entity called Nigeria. It was not borne out of pecuniary instinct, neither was I expecting to be rewarded for standing for what I believe to be right for all Nigerians.

I can also still vehemently mentain in 2023 that handing Nigeria over to just any man, will still overwhelm him like it has overwhelmed PMB who thought he will change Nigeria with a magic wand. Of course he did change Nigeria, but in the direction Nigeria has pushed him with its multi-complexities.

Few days back, I made a case for the place of "POLITICAL DYNAMISMS" in Nigeria politics, and I am still premising my submission upon that argument to say that until we separate reality from sentiments in our process of political ideology and orientation, we may start waiting for another 8 years to elapse from 2023. Let me not deviate from my point of discourse.

I also made a case sometime and said that the present generation of Nigerians need a man that can snatch power from the CABALS and hand it back to the people. We saw the pedigree in Atiku's 2019 onslaught against the power that be. I have reasons to believe that if all Nigerians had joined Atiku to fight a bit harder, we would've been out of the woods by now.

Alhaji Atiku is a man that has proved to be a true Democrat, a technocrat, a detribalized Nigeria with high managerial knowhow, coupled with tested tenacity to move things forward naturally. I am not here to eulogize, rather I strive to hit the nail by the head by calling a spade a spade.

His antecedents in businesses since he went out of corridors of power is exactly what Nigeria needs at the point we have find ourselves. A man that can turn things around.

He made a Tweet about consoling the family of Miss Vera Uwa, the girl that was raped and murdered in a Church. I was shocked at the reaction of some elements who believed he was wrong for empathising with a family from the South. But that is the onus of a detribalised leader, he has shown it at all times to prove that it is not about whose corpse in carried, but it is about the sanctity of life of all Nigerians.

I agree that Nigeria need to have a taste of new generation of leaders. But it is when you kill a kite and have it at hand that we begin to ask if women eat kite, this is a popular proverb in Igbo land.

I will continue to implore Nigerians to see reasons with me to rally around Atiku once again to help the youths take power back and make Nigeria great again for all of us.

This reality is the only reaon that the cabals are against him and should be the more reason why the masses should need him.

Politics / Emeka Kalu: PDP Must Get It Right By Fielding Men With Proven Pedigree by NAPC1(m): 8:53am On Jun 03, 2020
The PDP Youth Alliance Publicity Secretary, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu, has continued to emphasis on what the People's Democratic Party need to do to get it right and take power back for the sake of salvaging what is left of Nigeria since the emergence of the present administration in Nigeria.

According to Chief Kalu, Nigerians have suffered neglect, felt poverty and experienced economic downturn as have never seen before within a space of half a decade and therefore, will be very careful in making their choices during the next political transition.

He believes that the only way to rebuild their confidence is to give them the very best.

"PDP presently have all the opportunity in the world to rescue Nigeria from the dark woods by carefully screening, accessing and producing the most qualified candidates with proven record of undisputed pedigree and charisma, inbued in tested ability to understand the times and seasons.

"I have always said that 2023 is going to be a deciding moment for Nigerians politically and otherwise because the decision we make this time will determine the fate of Nigeria as a nation. I am still reiterating that only the party that field her very best will carry the day. That is the part I want PDP to pay serious attention to.

"We can test the waters in Edo, Anambra, Ondo etc, and the time is now", Kalu said.

He also used the opportunity to call PDP leadership to do everything within their powers to unite and reconcile every interest to galvanise her into one formidable force that will stand the impending challenges ahead.

"Another factor I must recommend for us is unity. A house divided among itself cannot stand.

"Our ability to reconcile in-house will bolster confidence of Nigerians in the ability of the party to recue her from the present state. This we must not overlook" he concludes.

Politics / Five Years Of APC In Nigeria Is Embarrassing And Depressing - Kalu by NAPC1(m): 10:12am On Jun 02, 2020
A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP), Dr Emeka Kalu has described the five years of APC in Nigeria as “embarrassing and depressing” for allegedly not delivering the dividends of democracy to the Nigerians.

Kalu in a statement signed by him, frowned at the nation’s debt profile with no verifiable key infrastructures to justify the amount borrowed so far.

He said “Take a look, you will find out why we need to vote them out. APC should take their place in the dustbin of history for their unprecedented failure.

So far, this is how much loan they have borrowed with nothing to show for:
$3.4 billion loan from IMF
$2.5 billion loan from IBRD
$1 billion loan from AfDB
N850 billion domestic loan
N150 billion Ijarah Sukuk loan
Now another fresh request
$3.4 billion loan from IMF
$1.5 billion loan from IBRD
$500 million loan from AfDB
$113 million loan from IsDB
This is in addition to the existing about
N28 trillion debt (80% borne by the FG).

Remember, when this administration came to power our total debt was little above #7 trillion.

We merely hear of approvals of billions of naira with nothing on ground to show.”

Dr Kalu also condemned the use of state apparatus to silent opposition politicians

“The most ugly aspect of their era is the frequent use of force to silent critics using the DSS and police.”

“The APC led Federal Government has become unpopular and are now using force to intimidate opposition states, sponsor campaigns of calumny against them and generate political and economic tensions within their states.”

He, however, urged Nigerians not to be deterred by the antics and failures of the APC government by given up on the Nigerian project. He assured Nigerians of the readiness of the PDP to reclaim power back from the APC by 2023.

Politics / 10 Reasons Atiku Remains The Best Option For A Better Nigeria - Kalu by NAPC1(m): 4:36pm On May 28, 2020
At a time Nigeria seems to be wondering in wilderness of political, economical and social blindness occasioned by over half a decade misrule of a political class that have proven to be bereft of administrative know-how to turn the fortunes of a naturally endowed Nation like Nigeria with human and capital wealth. This alone has remained a shocker to the world, and 2015 to date will continue to hunt the conscience of every sincere Nigerian that played a role in this grandstanding.

Then came the ray of light in 2019 as Alhaji Atiku Abubakar challenged the status quo with resolute onslaught to undo mediocrity and give Nigeria a new leave of life to be re-positioned to the path of progressive planning.

Before then, they came with campaign of slander, character assassination and media trial of nonexistent fraud. The challenge to proffer a case or initiate a legal process to address that (as a government fighting corruption) was met with silence as there was no offense in the first place. That propaganda too, like others like it, died a natural death.

While the hope of Nigerians was dashed in a broad day robbery that saw the cabals hang unto power at the detriment of the Nigerian masses in 2019, the man who has come on a mission to address the lapses of leadership in Nigeria with the intent of passing leadership to a younger generation, has not given in yet. The more reason why the spines of the purveyors are in jitters.

1) Let us look at the reasons why Alhaji Atiku remains the best option for 2023.Since 2017, Nigeria had been engulfed in political hide and seek over who is in charge of Nigeria. The demise of former CoS, Malam Abba Kyari, put paid to the speculations. One thing is clear, the cabals do not have any plan to relinquish power even after 2023.

This is the role Atiku still owe to Nigerians, to snatch the power out of the hands of these heartless and spineless cabals and return it to the people. If you want to capture the strong man, set a stronger man against him. Nigeria needs a man capable, intellectually, politically, administrative, and economically to make the transition. That’s where Atiku fits in.

2) Haven said that, let me quickly remind Nigerians that Alhaji Atiku presided over the National Council on Privatization after he was sworn into office as the vice president of Nigeria on 29 May 1999, he took up the responsibility of overseeing the sale of hundreds of loss making and poorly managed public enterprises in the country. These sales helped to revive the Nigeria economy from 1999 forward, consolidated and thrived under PDP till 2015 when we return back to the woods.

3) Atiku launched the South Africa Nigeria Bi-national Commission. Atiku Abubakar with Jacob Zuma. He, alongside South African deputy president Jacob Zuma in 1991 launched the South Africa Nigeria Binational Commission. The economic benefits of that leadership prerogative has continued to thrive in MTN, Shoprite, Stanbic IBTC, to name a few.

4) Alhaji Atiku was instrumental to, as he strongly opposed the constitution amendment for third consecutive term for presidency In 2006, Atiku was involved in a bitter public battle with Olusegun Obasanjo, over his wish to amend the provisions of the constitution to run for presidency third term consecutively. Which the Nigerian National Assembly eventually voted against any amendments allowing Obasanjo to run for another term.

5) Atiku believes that education should be a priority. The American University of Nigeria (AUN) is a private university in northeastern of Nigeria. It was founded in 2004 by Atiku Abubakar, the former vice president. The school is the only American style university in Sub-Saharan Africa. In the same vein to foster the education in Nigeria, he introduced the Atiku Abubakar special scholarship offer which is tenable in Nigeria and oversea.

6) In his magnanimity, AAA has continued to show his believe in encouraging the youths to rise up to challenge of leadership by giving them lofty opportunities to thrive. This characteristics was highly exhibited during his last election in 2019 as youths play greater roles. His emergence as president in 2019 would’ve marked the beginning of a new era of youths in leadership.

7) He is a philanthropist interested in human capital development. Atiku believes that philanthropy is an investment which has multiplier effect. He sees development as “the effort to increase the productive capacity of a society, improve the people’s well being and expand the frontiers of freedom, while protecting the ecosystem for current and future generations. An individual’s success is deemed to be of limited social value if it does not lead to the success of others in the family, clan or community.’’

8 ) Alhaji Atiku while out of political corridor invested in companies and businesses that has offered diverse employment to many Nigerians and since a man can only offer what he has, there is no doubt that his becoming Nigerian president will mean creating of more jobs when he bring his expansively business oriented acumen to bear.

9) He is true democrat and a detribalized Nigerian who knows how to galvanize our diversity to prosperity. He has bagged many chieftaincy titles across, including being conferred with the chieftaincy title, Aare of Ire-Ekiti land in Ekiti state.

10) The Atiku Abubakar Foundation for the less privileged is a foundation which was founded earlier in the year 2019 to represent and assist the less privileged persons who are helpless in other to survive through legitimate means.

The list is unending.

The National Publicity Secretary of PDP Youth Alliance, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu, has called on Muslim faithful to use this period of spiritual reflection to pray for the peace, love, unity and restoration of Nigeria for the good of all; especially at such time as this that Coronavirus pandemic had put spanner in the works of our progress as a nation.

Kalu made this call in a press statement he personally signed and made available to the Press.

According to him, there’s no obstacle, challenge or hill that a sincere and fervent prayer will not remove, that is why we must take advantage of this prayers of Eid el Fitr to beseech our maker for the sake of a better Nigeria, asking him to take away the hardship and errors of coronavirus plaguing Nigeria and the entire human race.

Therefore, let no leader forget that power is transient and mustn’t falter in using every opportunity to serve humanity.

Above all, Dr Kalu called on the Muslim fatlithful to pray for the unity of Nigeria, asking Allah to take away every divisiveness and actions that divide rather than unite Nigerians, stressing that this period of challenge for all Nigerians is a time we must share more, unite more, and believe more to enable us conquer our common enemy, Coronavirus, and move forward together as a people.

We should always pray for Nigeria restoration.

Politics / Kalu Urges FG To Investigate The Worrisome Rise In COVID-19 Cases by NAPC1(m): 7:50pm On May 09, 2020
Following the daily rise in confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria and the eventual decision to relax lockdown in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun, which has in turn precipitated other states to tow the line, the call for thorough investigation of the pandemic has increased across board.

The National Publicity Secretary, People's Democratic Party Youth Alliance, PDPYA, Dr Emeka Kalu has, in a statement personally signed and made available to the press, urged the Federal Government to, as a matter of national concern and emergency, investigate the remote cause of the daily report we receive concerning skyrocketing new cases at a time it is supposed to be abating.

"I see this as worrisome that after exercising over one month or two of lockdown to contain spread of Coronavirus in Nigeria, the results we get after relaxing of the lockdown is like we actually used those periods to incubate it rather than control it.

"This is a condition that should worry every Nigerian. I call on the Federal Government to investigate why the numbers are increasing by day instead of reducing, how exactly are these numbers obtained? Are we really doing anything to control it or is the work of NCDC only to real out numbers to Nigerians on daily basis?.

"These are questions we need to start finding answers to. Are these number real or cooked up to serve a particular purpose? If they're are real, what is the Federal Government doing to ensure that the words of Melinda Gates do not come to pass in Nigeria? These are pertinent questions we need to ask ourselves and provide answer to, in all sincerity if we must survive this danger as a nation" he said.

Dr Kalu, who is also the Director General of Global Initiative for Good Governance, insisted that the handlers of this situation in Nigeria are making Nigeria citizens doubt the existence of COVID-19, which is a very delicate situation that will make containing the outbreak more challenging.

"Let the Federal Government carry out a thorough investigation and tell Nigerians exactly what we are dealing with", he concluded.

Politics / 2023: I Have No Regret Supporting Atiku, Says Dr Kalu by NAPC1(m): 8:11pm On May 07, 2020
The Director General of Global Initiative for Good Governance, Dr Emeka Kalu has said that he threw his weight behind Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in 2019 because of his believe in his leadership capabilities and ingenuity in understanding the model that makes Nigeria work, insisting that he will still support him in 2023 because that believe is still strong and unrelenting.

"It occurs that at last, Atiku’s candidancy will become an alternative to the Buhari brand of leadership.

"He has truly moulded in the person of a man who is many things rolled into one, and in whom Nigerians will find the qualities they are looking for in both management of the economy and practical leadership that will turn Nigeria around", he said.

Dr Kalu quoted Achebe who said that "Nothing is wrong with Nigeria but it's leadership". This correlates with the words of the Former Speaker, House of Representatives, Mr. Yakubu Dogara “Nigeria’s real disease is lack of leadership;

"I disagree with all those who say our major national disease is financial corruption; rather, the real disease has been the absence of true leadership. This in turn breeds moral corruption and wickedness".

According to Dr. Emeka Kalu, "I have no regret supporting Atiku Abubakar because he is the right person for the people of Nigeria at this time considering the uninspiring leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari".

Dr Kalu further expressed his absolute faith in Atiku's capacity to lead Nigeria right, which can be seen in Atiku's blueprint of governance. The former Vice President who enjoys the company of educated people and is an intellectual in his own right has prepared a policy document with his vision encapsulated in Jobs Opportunity, Being United and Security.

He countered that he is also a good economic manager as Vice President under former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

"Atiku was the Chairman of the National Economic Council which started a revolution of all sorts in the management of the national economy. He did well in introducing measures and implementing policies that gave the entire national economy a lease of life and breath of fresh air and created jobs and regular income for the majority of Nigerians", he ssid.

Finally, Dr Kalu further buttressed that a unique quality which shows that Atiku is better for Nigeria in going forward, in view of the present sorry state of national integration in Nigeria is that in Atiku’s thinking, there is only One Nigeria; whose citizens without exception deserves equal access to the good things of life.

"The way the former Vice President runs his businesses and his large family is such that there is no place for tribalism, no ethnicity, no nepotism, no exclusion or 97 versus 5 per cent", he concludes.

Politics / Use Returned Abacha Loot To Pay Nigerians Kalu Advices FG by NAPC1(m): 12:41pm On May 06, 2020
The Director General of Global Initiative for Good Governance, Dr Emeka Kalu has reacted to the possible side effects of what he termed as miscalculated relaxation of lockdown by the Buhari-Led.

FG lockdown, use $311M returned loot to pay Nigerians, Kalu advices.

The Director General of Global Initiative for Good Governance, Dr Emeka Kalu has reacted to the possible side effects of what he termed as miscalculated relaxation of lockdown by the Buhari-Led administration against COVID-19.

In a statement signed by his media and publicity Aide, Comr Amos Kalu, the outspoken PDP leader who double as Publicity Secretary, PDPYA and Atikulated Agenda Worldwide said that the the decision of the administration was ill-time, miscalculated and a sign that the lockdown was not aimed at achieving anything in the first place, saying that they just locked down because everybody was locking down and now they’re relaxing the lockdown because they are out of ideas that were never there initially.

According to his submissions, it is most painful that the political brouhaha that this administration built around Coronavirus pandemic from day one has made the ordinary masses to doubt the existence of such thing and believe the government are just looking for an avenue to make money from United Nations. Opining that this is the scenario you get when power is in hands of few greedy men that think only about theirselves and their immediate families.

“I don’t believe majority of Nigerians truly know what it is, or what we are dealing with.

“Given the numbers of folks in some videos making rounds on social media is worrisome because it is clear that most people still see Coronavirus as a myth of the legends in the western world. That is very unprecedented and this is as a result of inaction of the men in charge.

“Observe the number that attended the Emirs funerals without obseving any social distancing, no masks, nothing.

“Examine the number that criss-cross Onitsha head Bridge, the number of folks in Alaba market Lagos, who are observing no social distancing, no mask and agree with me that we have set a time bomb that may soon explode in Nigeria if nothing is done and on time too” he said.

Dr Kalu lamented that there’s nothing on ground to show that we have the capability and capacity to handle any surge that may emanate from people not keeping to these rules.

“Do we have enough isolation centers or medical manpower to control spread among 200 million citizens when we can’t manage the rare cases properly? This case is so worrisome, to say the least”.

“I understand that the economy is going down, but because of the fact that people don’t really have enough education about this, I submit that we shouldn’t have relaxed the lockdown immediately.

“A government with the right ideas would have made provisions to pacify citizenry by providing workable palliative measures for sustenance because the people have to survive first before we talk about economy” kalu said.

“If we have a surge occasioned by this miscalculated action of opening up without preparedness, then the lockdown we exercised would’ve been a time wasted in vain.

“Let the Federal Government lockdown the nation completely and use the $311 Million dollars returned by United States to pay every Nigerians as palliative so that no one should leave their homes. Also, palliatives should be shared before lockdown so that people can stock food and Medcine.

“We should’ve had more testing for the people before opening up the economy” he concluded.

Politics / Kalu To Kaduna PDP, This Is Time To Unite And Grow by NAPC1(m): 5:13pm On May 04, 2020
The Publicity Secretary of People’s Democratic Party Youth Alliance – PDPYA, Dr Emeka Kalu has frowned at the little skirmishes brewing in Kaduna State after the wards congresses, saying it is ill-timed, counter productive and will be detrimental to the unity of the party if not checked and nipped in the bud.

In a press statement he personally signed on Monday, Chief Kalu called on the leadership of the great party to pull their acts together in handling any disagreement to avoid brewing bad blood that will threaten the unity of the party in Kaduna, particularly, and Nigeria at large as 2023 is going to be a defining moment of the PDP and the future of Nigeria.

He called of the leader on the Party in Kaduna, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, to use his leadership dexterity to prevail on the matter while maintaining neutrality until all nerves are calmed and all grievances assuaged.

Dr Kalu further assured the party that he is ready to liaise and work with the party leadership to mend every fences and bring peace to the party across the federation as only a united People’s Democratic Party will be capable of taking power in 2023.

Dr Kalu finally adviced the party leadership to work hard on uniting the party at every level while consolidating on the gains of solidarity the party has continued to enjoy from Nigerians even while being an opposition party, insisting that it is a sign that Nigerians are ready for the true change that will usher in the needed progress and redirection of the nation to the path of greatness.

Politics / President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2020 Easter Message To Nigerians by NAPC1(m): 11:53am On Apr 12, 2020
I rejoice with our Christian brothers and sisters as well as all Nigerians on the occasion of the celebration of this year’s Easter.

This year’s commemoration of Easter comes amid the grip with which Covid-19 has held the entire world.

Unprecedented in living memory, majority of Christians have found themselves marking Easter in a subdued manner, away from the usual congregation in churches. This is unusual and very unfortunate.

However, I wish to enjoin our Christian compatriots to rekindle their faith in Christ who overcame persecution, sufferings and displayed endurance, steadfastness and above all piety.

Jesus Christ represented man’s ability to withstand temporary pains in the hope of everlasting glory.

I urge you to imbibe and live the values of humility, discipline, perseverance, sacrifice and obedience which Jesus Christ demonstrated during His stay on earth.

There is no better opportunity than now for all Christians in particular, and Nigerians in general, to remain faithful and hopeful that with intensified prayers backed by personal and collective responsibility, the nation shall pull through this most difficult trial.

I have no doubt that if all stakeholders – individuals and groups – play their part to the fullest as advised by our scientists and medical experts in confronting Covid-19, the inherent resilience and determination of our people will enable us to pull through.

As I stated in my national broadcast on Sunday, March 29, 2020, since there is currently no known vaccine against the virus, “the best and most efficient way to avoid getting infected is through regular hygiene and sanitary practices as well as social distancing.”

May I use this opportunity to commend the encouraging containment and ameliorating strategies put in place by members of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19.

I am very much aware of the personal and collective inconveniences suffered by our people due to measures such as restriction of movements and closure of business premises. Being “a matter of life and death,” these sacrifices are in everybody’s interest to save our country from calamity.

The welfare of our people is paramount. Accordingly, the most economically vulnerable in our communities will continue to be uppermost in our plans, and efforts will be made to supply them with basic means of survival.

While we see the Covid-19 pandemic as a global challenge, this administration is not oblivious of the constant threat posed to our national security by terrorists and insurgents. They may take this opportunity to perpetrate attacks. But our armed forces and other security and intelligence services will remain vigilant and continue to contain these threats and consolidate efforts to eradicate them completely.

As we mark this year’s Easter, whatever the circumstances, I encourage you to make the most of the situation, and to keep safe.

I wish you all a Happy Easter.

Muhammadu Buhari
President, Federal Republic of Nigeria

Nairaland / General / Dr Ejike Onuogu Foundation Comes To Rescue Of Onitsha With Palliative Measures by NAPC1(m): 11:55pm On Apr 08, 2020
In history of humanity, desperate times call for desperate measures and desperate measure begets special men and women who convert themselves into vessels to rescue humanity.

Dr Ejike Onuogu, a New York based physician has, through his foundation, proven that as long as human beings still walk on earth, hope remains the ultimate anchor to a future and continued existence, as he donates materials, food and cash worth millions to the people.

Without being called upon, he made himself available to support government efforts at providing palliatives for the indigent citizens who are facing the effect of total lockdown occasioned by proactive measures taken to ensure that the spread of Coronavirus is contained in Nigeria, a step that has come to be applauded and commended.

Surprisingly too, he has gone beyond putting food on people’s stomach to giving them empowerment by providing a support van and other materials that will help people to stand on their feet after the pandemic is over, because he is a man that sees beyond the immediate problem of the time.

.... He makes a food pyramid of noodles for the masses.

One of the good peculiarities of a progressive minded person is the ability to identify progress and good gesture of others and the urge to promote and encourage it because it is only by appreciation will the giver be motivated to do more, this culture is a substantiated human nature that is as old as time.

When I noticed the actions of this man of God in ensuring the government is assisted in her effort at providing palliative stimulus to cushion the effect of the total lockdown of Nigeria, I marveled as a lot of questions that flashed through my mind, one of which included "What manner of Prophet is this?".

Snr Prophet Jaremiah Omoto Fufeyin is the General Overseer of Mercy Land Church Warri, Delta State. Unknown to many and people like me before now; because he is not into loud publicity of his good deeds like most, he, a rare gem that has been in the ministry of blessing people from all over Nigeria through many medium that includes, but not limited to Radio and TV programs where people phone in to receive outright donation ranging from 10k to 100k instantly, little wonder his action at this period was executed without much notice.
"An old woman doesn't get old in a dance she learnt at youth".

Times are different, and we live in a time when every good measure would be made open to encourage one another because on through collective and United purpose that we can scale through.

Considering the pangs of hunger on the citizens, the discrimination that has graced the government palliatives and even the donations made by individuals and captains of industry, one gets sceptical if the purpose for which these goodwill are meant will serve its purpose or just another medium to enrich few at the expense of the many.

It becomes obvious and heart warming that in a society where religion has become a tool for amassing wealth, there remains men of God who believe it is better to reach back, not for novelty but for the purpose and meaning of the word "Giving Back".

"I think this should be a lesson, a challenge to other men of God, and individuals as well. We live at a critical time when only the strength of the strong with carry the weak through and this must be done through genuine act of giving to save and not to promote your businesses.

"I therefore call on individuals, religious leaders, politicians, captains of industries, who may still have the zeal to give, to do it through the appropriate channels like planning the palliative before involving the government rather than pouring scarce resources into leaking pockets".

I encourage the man of God, Snr Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, not to relent in doing good, especially at this time of Coronavirus pandemic as his good and cash gift to Delta State Government is the type that we're sure will get to people as at when due, who actually need them.

Thank You,

Politics / COVID-19: FG Needs To Put Her Acts Together, Trust In Her System – Kalu by NAPC1(m): 12:22pm On Apr 07, 2020
The DG of Global Initiative for Good Governance and Atikulated Agenda Worldwide, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu, has as usual lent his clear voice to numerous burning issues concerning our nation, especially at this critical time of uncertainty and hardship occasioned by the pandemic, Coronavirus.

In a statement signed by his Media and Publicity Aide, Comr Amos Kalu and made available to the press from his Abuja office, Chief Kalu who is also the Director of Protocols, People’s Democratic Party Youth Alliance, said this is time Nigerians need to shun partisanship and put hands together to come out of this global challenge uncharted in one piece even as he comend his principal, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who had joined other well meaning Nigerians to provide palliative stimulus to vulnerable Nigerians that are feeling the pangs of the unavoidable total lockdown to curtail spread of Coronavirus.

In the same vein, Chief Kalu praised the government of President Buhari and State governments for proactive actions so far taken to tackle the menace, especially providing palliatives to citizens and providing emergency isolation centers, saying that these are signs that there is still hope for a better Nigeria of tomorrow when we can rise up to challenge our challenges and put things right.

“I must commend the Lagos state government particularly for the vigor and determination with which she has confronted the Coronavirus monster and as well other states, including my home state Abia, who have left no stone unturned in the responsibility of protecting her citizens, especially the proactive Measures taken by Governor Ikpeazu to challenge the ingenuity of the Aba Artisans who are now mass producing PPE. This is sign of hope in the face of uncertainty.

“This is a sign that Nigeria can surmount any challenges facing us when we make up our mind and determine to tackle them headlong. I encourage that we don’t let our guards now.

“Nigerians have shown sense of patriotism and love for one another by coming together of the strong to support the weak amongst us. This is a way of a progressive people with determination to move forward against all odds, therefore I encourage our citizens to continue to obey the government orders to the later as it is for the good of all, “ he encouraged.

Chief Kalu further addressed other issues relating to the pandemic and adviced the government to make amends where neccessary because what affects the eyes effects the nose.

“This is not a time to be discriminative for any reason. I was shocked to learn that the Ministers have successfully dished out N100Billion to indigent Nigerians hand on hand, I am marveled because there can never be any guarantee of fairness using such crude methods.

“Nigerians vehemently called on the FG to support Nigerians through verified BVN because that could’ve been the only true way to ensure fairness and openness. There’s no guarantee of transparency in the methods applied which proves that it is clear that government concerns is for only particular set of people because there’s no way you can distribute money to all indigent Nigerians hand to hand when the country is on lockdown. That process made rubbish of the whole excercise.

“I am calling on government to adopt the right methods to distribute the latest loan to avoid few greedy men getting richer at the expense of the suffering masses. Money and materials should be extended to other states as well and not concentrated in a particular place when states like Akwa Ibom are crying for lack of fund to face confirmed cases.

“This is time to prove that Nigeria is one indivisible entity and not time to discriminate against anyone as had recently been the culture of this government”, Kalu advised.

He also called on the government not to be too fast in inviting Chinese doctors at this point that everyone is suspicious of each other, arguing that Nigerian Doctors have worked and proved their mettle in readiness and equal to the task of containing COVID-19.

“It is time we begin to put more confidence in our system by allowing our trained professionals to do the job they are trained to do without foreign interference. I see no morale behind the invitation at this point in time.

“Rather government should channel their effort to minding how to help Nigerian citizens who are now being chased around by Chinese government, denying them any form of accommodation and food. Those are the core responsibilities of government to her citizens and not adding anxiety to their fears.

“Even back home, locking people down at home without food is a catalyst to bad revolt if nothing is done about it to assist them, “ Kalu said.

He adviced Nigerians to be patient and law abiding in face of fear and harsh realities, assuring them that this time too, shall come to pass.

Politics / 2023: The Mendacious Vituperation Against The Orjis Remains A Farce - Kalu by NAPC1(m): 8:12pm On Mar 28, 2020
One sure reality in human existence is that the journey of success always has it natural and man made challenges which must be surmounted in the process of attaining the height; thus, we encounter new devils on every new day, some will be good enough to be overlooked while some are prevaricating, duplicitous, perfidious and perjured.

For a while now, the Orji family have been put on the trajectory of malady orchestrated by distractors in a plot to cause miasma to the name of the respectable family. It is imperative to note that the Orji family have played their role in Abia State politics and therefore nobody should use then as a political ladder to seeking political relevance through mendacious and spurious conconcions just to score a cheap political goal.

The race for 2023 is going to be a different scenario that will not entertain any professional gubernatorial aspirations who may think that tonly rubbishing the Orjis can help them achieve their failed ambitions, to me that is not politics but a systematic misplacement of priorities because nobody grows by pulling others down.

It behooves on hypocrisy, bigotry, duplicity and insincerity to continue to petion someone without evidence to hold him responsible for you accusations, I'll take an instance. After the perfunctory and superficial petition, did the treducers find time and dexterity to ask:

1. Where is the account housing
$124m allegedly stolen by the Orjis?
2. Where is the one housing
88B Naira as alleged?
3. Where is the evidence of contracts awarded by the fomer Governor to his son?
4. How can total turnover of over a period of 14 to 25 years of business operations suddenly become available Balance in an account?

The rhetorics are endless, but the answers are in the consciences of the naysayers.

Suffice the grandiloquence of the malfeasance trying to establish impossibilities and remember that these said set of shameless plotters constitute the army of misdemeanors who recieved contacts on behalf of our state, used such money to chase their inordinate ambitions and fancy only to leave our state in greater squalor. We will not allow these men to continue to have their field day by insulting our collective sensibility.

How has their endless meetings to destroy another person added to the life of the people they claim to fight for? What have they brought home, what industry, what presence, what?

I am calling on these people to desist from working hard to bring a good man down. If T. A. Orji did not do well, his constituents wouldn't have let him go to represent them at the Senate. He has served meritoriously both as State Governor and now as a Senator and his legacies are scattered about to draw inferences from.

Hon Chinedum Orji did not rise to the position of Speakership of State House Assembly by sheer happenstance, it is a reward of hard labour of persistent pragmatism and therefore any politician who believe that pulling him down is the only way to rise do not understand the law or karma.

Every politically motivated petitions must stop forthwith because it does not hold any water. He that must come to equity must come with a clean hands. I assure everyone that the 2023 battle for the progress of Abia will not be business as usual because the game must change pattern and only the right people will be opportune to mount the saddle. Any professional aspirant casting aspersions and hoping on failure of another man to rise should have a rethink and find his bearing.

Politics / Kalu Asks Supreme Court To Ignore APC’s Application To Review Zamfara Judgment by NAPC1(m): 1:35pm On Mar 22, 2020
A Chieftain of People’s Democratic Party, PDP and the Director General of Atikulated Agenda 2019, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu has asked the Supreme Court to dismiss an application by the All Progressives Congress, challenging its decision against Muktar Idris of the All Progressives Congress as governor-elect of the state.

Dr Emeka Kalu who is also the Director of Protocols, Youth Alliance of the PDP, made his position known in a statement he issued, describing the application seeking review of the apex court judgment as a mockery of the judiciary and a national disgrace considering its own stand on the Bayelsa and Imo review cases.

He noted that the APC in Zamfara State had gone to the apex court on two occasions with the same result, asking the Supreme Court to hear the same application for a third time is ridiculous, shameful and childish.

“The apex court had already affirmed the finality of the Supreme Court judgements as firmly established in the court’s judgment on Imo and Bayelsa.
Anything other than this would be a serious mockery to the judiciary and the apex court.

Governor Metawalle is like the biblical Moses who was sent by God to deliver his people.

Dr Emeka Kalu
Zamfara State under Dr Bello Mutawalle is a novel idea that should be allowed to work by all and sundry. He has brought back both economic and security stability back to Zamfara and it won’t be fair if he’s distracted from doing the good job he’s doing there”.

“This is really a sad time for virtually everyone across the globe. Just this morning, I received with shock, the sad news of your wife’s death.

Politics / The Many Parts Of PDP Hypocrisy, How It Will Not Help The Party – Kalu by NAPC1(m): 8:19am On Mar 09, 2020
A chieftain of People’s Democratic Party, PDP and Director of Protocols, Youth Alliance of the party, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu has expressed disappointment with the way the party has chosen to treat her committed members when it is time to appreciate their input. He said this has continued to brew bad blood and develop cold feet for her foot soldiers.

Chief Kalu recalled that one of the main actions that caused PDP the power in 2015 was as a result of this same exhibition of hypocrisy that makes it normal for them to always reward the rooted party members with disregard while rewarding new comers with every preferential treatment and lofty rewards at the expense of faithful and committed members. They have always adopted the method of “to your tent oh Israel”, chasing person gains at the expense of party loyalty. As a result, every individual got what they were chasing after and the party lost what it had which is what brought Nigeria to this crossroads till 2023.

Until PDP change from this attitude, she will continue to lose her best when it is time to build even more formidable force.

Chief Kalu also said that the fact that PDP busied in playing hypocrisy also cost her 2019 when the party failed to take radical approach to fighting for their own against an established fraud. Rather she preferred playing reactive roles rather than taking proactive measures to tackle pressing times, like the “Oh Isreal” saying, Atiku lost alone until it was beyond remedy. Examples abound even in recent times.

Chief Kalu who is also the DG of Atikulated Agenda Worldwide and Global Initiative for Good Governance, said that for the fact that the leadership of PDP have continued to ignore men and women sacrificing and risking their all to fight for her image out in the sun, but rather prefer to lobby strange bed fellows, her redemption will remain a fight of uncertainty.

He explained that PDP leadership should not continue to pay more attention to what they can gain from every processes of the system, but must be ready to make more sacrifices as well as recognise the people making ultimate sacrifices for the good of the party because it is only when you praise a worker for a job well done that he can put in his best to bring even better results.

“I call on the party to stop paying lip service to love for the party because it can only amount to hypocrisy.

“Love for the party should entail sacrifices, cooperation, unity of purpose, reward for commitment and above all the need to work as one indivisible and united people pursuing same goal at all time.

“2023 is around the corner and if PDP must make headway, we must go back to our drawing board and shade all forms of hypocrisy and self gratification at the expense of other committed members chasing the same course.” His statement concludes.

Politics / Support PMB For The Future Of Nigeria - Chuka by NAPC1(m): 7:10am On Mar 04, 2020
September 6, 2018

The Youth Leader of Buhari Youth Organisation, BYO, Beijing Chapter, Chuka Malvinho Onyekwulunne has spoken out against what he termed inflammatory statements by former heads of state, Olusegun Obasanjo and General Gowon insisting that contrary to their insinuations, President Muhammad Buhari has the future of Nigeria at heart.

Speaking during a recent press briefing, Comrade Onyekwulunne said that his group made up of over 2 million intellectual and patriotic Nigerians across the world have been watching with "great displeasure" the way the opposition party, People's Democratic Party, PDP have continued to politicise the teething problems of the country most of which they caused."

He called on all well meaning Nigerians to judge President Buhari by his results not by his deficiencies alleging that "The two former presidents together have not been able to achieve half of what President Buhari had been able to achieve in his tenure."

In his words, "The only grouse these politricksters have with President Buhari is that he is a very transparent man. That is why they are hell-bent on vilifying him and giving wrong interpretations to his executive actions. But just like a well trained and disciplined man with focus, our dear president, Mohammad Buhari, has continued to take life easy and deliver on his promises slow and steady."

"See the rate of infrastructural development across the country. Only naysayers would say nothing is happening. Millions of youths on N Power pay are not talking o. Those talking about restructuring are just looking for ways to still have a slice of power. It is an addiction that once you get into, you would continue to struggle to remain in long after you have been removed."

He therefore urged other Nigerian youths to "join the moving train, follow their consciences and support PMB for the future of Nigeria."

"Yet Boko Haram and Herdsmen are proving hard nuts to crack but with the level of engagement the presidency is giving them, soon those converts will look at the beauty of the life of their colleagues who threw in the towel and follow suit," the pro Buhari enthusiast quipped.

Foreign Affairs / The Role Of French Ambassador; Aiding DSP To Plunge Guinea Bissau Into Crisis by NAPC1(m): 6:25pm On Feb 21, 2020
The Role of French Ambassador; Aiding DSP to Plunge Guinea Bissau Into Political Crisis

During the election of 29th December, 2019, PAIGC had control of Guiné-Bissau electoral body CNE, Ministry of interior, Police, Military, STJ, Finance and every other functioning arms of the government and the Prime Minister was a direct appointee of PAIGC, masterminded by DSP himself.

If notwithstanding these arsenal at their disposal, a newly formed party, MADEM G-15 succeeded in breaking the 47 years jinx of holding unto power by PAIGC, it should be gentlemanly for them to accept defeat and give peace a chance.

For the many years of controlling the republic, it has been story of poverty, squalor, illiteracy, backwardness, and visionless policies. But within a month, the 47 years old Umaro Sissoco Embalo through his many diplomatic tours has beamed searchlight of progress and partnership back to his country and the world is ready to work with him to liberate his nation.

As sweet and promising as this may sound to the good of the people of Guinea Bissau, some stronger interests seems to be bent on ensuring that the republic is never rescued from the shackles of indirect colonization which interests in France, Ghana, Guinea Conakry, Cote D’ivoire and few other bourgeoises represent are never broken in the history of the republic.

THE AMBASSADOR OF FRANCE IN THE DSP ROW

Mandated by Aristides Gomes, the French ambassador to Guinea-Bissau decided to remove his diplomat’s cape to be part of the group of the axis of evil.

It was more than 04 hours that the ectro lasted, 19 of February, 2020, between the said ambassador and the sold out President of the STJ, Paulo Sanhá, where the following resolution came out: Annulled the elections won by General Umaro Sissoco Embaló.

Immediately, Paulo Sanhá called his followers and sold Judge Counselors, Rui Nené and Osires Ferreira, because Armindo Vieira (Mota) is on the mound, in the presence of Paulo Sanha’s Chief of Staff, Arafam Mané, whom he will have reported of the decision taken.

It is known that Prime Minister Aristides Gomes is France’s security agent in Guinea-Bissau and is doing everything to defend the DSP’s undisputed interests with France in order to prevent the election of the elected President.

DSP threatened the people, the institutions of the Republic, ECOWAS and fled to Portugal.
The sold out Paulo Sanha issues an illegal judgment, violating the Constitution of the Republic and the electoral law, and will flee this night to Egypt and then to Portugal.
