Politics / Don't Touch Atiku, Kalu Warns Buhari/APC by NAPC1(m): 9:11am On May 17, 2019
The Director General of Atikulated Agenda Worldwide and one time APGA Gubernatorial Aspirant in Abia State, Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu (ECK), has condemned the news making the rounds on the part of APC-Led Federal Government in an attempt to shift their blames to an innocent man, since Nigerians are now used to their blaming the past administration for over their 4years of fruitless escapade.

On Friday in Abuja, he issued a Press Statement through his Media and Publicity Aid, Comr. Amos Kalu and condemns the attempt by the Federal Government to frame Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in a phantom coup that will probably be staged or managed by their own hatchet men. It takes a hunter to know the terrain of a promising hunting exercise against the unsuspecting animals.

He insisted that Buhari is the one with the bloodline of coup-de-tat, having been a beneficiary of the Abacha Era and the voice of Esau behind the hand of Jacob in 1983. We truly understand his method of playing the innocent and total oblivion in the face of calculated misdemeanor. Always Saintly innocent.

“How can an Ex-Military man that has been a beneficiary of coups rise up one day to accuse a refined democrat of plotting a coup against Nigeria? With who is Atiku plotting the coup since all the Nigerian Agencies has been cowed into succumbing to the dictates and malfeasance of the Democratic-Dictator that Buhari has gradually become?’ He questioned.

“It is obvious that the Buhari-Led Government has failed, their unpopularity is unparalleled and conspicuous that even a child cannot be deceived otherwise. That is why they want to adopt another method of shifting their blames, throwing paroxysm at all direction, but in no direction.

“Any leader that is shy or afraid of taking responsibility for his actions is an epitome of failure”. He said.

Nigerians know that Buhari is the man with the guns at his bake and call and don’t know why he should accuse a civilian of plotting coup and hitting up the polity because he is seeking justice through a democratic process.

“When does resisting intimidation and standing in defense of justice amount to coup? Why is Buhari bent on repeating history by seeking to jail Atiku the way Abacha jailed Obasanjo for standing tyranny and speaking for the masses?

“Now it is clearer to the world that Buhari never changed his inner being but only changed his clothe from Khaki to Agbada. A leopard cannot lose its skin”.

He further lamented that Nigerians are under severe pain of APC/Buhari claws, and plead that they should not take Nigeria to another lowly path of hitting up the polity in attempt to thwart the outcome of reclaiming the mandate the People has given to Atiku. He said that they want to confuse Nigerians with phantom coup to portray Atiku in bad light before Nigerians so that while we are swimming in the confusion they will create, the cabals will have field day and their claws will continue to drench in our collective wealth watered by the blood of the innocent.

“We must stand for what is right, we must stand to defend justice, we must rise up in the face of tribulation and intimidation to take back our destiny from plunderers of Nigeria. We must say no to every attempt to cower Atiku into submission because if they succeed through this stage, Nigeria will become a nation that was” He concluded.

Politics / 2019 Election: Don’t Drag Us Into Politics – NNPC Warns Politicians by NAPC1(m): 11:22am On Jan 23, 2019
The Management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has called on politicians and those canvassing for votes for the general elections, to refrain from using the NNPC or its top management as part of their electioneering strategies.

NNPC Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Mr. Ndu Ughamadu, in a release today in Abuja, said using the corporation as a launchpad for political attacks against opponents was not only a disservice to the overall national interest, but also inimical to the national economy, given NNPC’s pivotal role as cash cow of the nation.

The NNPC spokesperson said the call for restrains by politicians became necessary in the wake of the names of some of its top management being dragged into partisan politics.

Mr. Ughamdu noted that as a National Oil Company with partners in almost all the continents of the world, the ongoing attempts by politicians to drag the name of the corporation into the murky arena of partisan politics was a potent danger to the corporation’s business interests, its multi-faceted contract deals and MoUs which should ordinarily be insulated from political brinkmanship.

He explained: “While it might be understandable for politicians to seek the hearts and souls of the electorate, attempting the feat by way of dragging NNPC into the fray was unfair and irrational, as the business environment in which it operates is not designed to withstand the shock from such careless and unguarded diatribes.

“The corporation urges political office seekers to note that the NNPC was a public corporate entity run by well-groomed technocrats who are apolitical and inclined only to their fiduciary responsibility to the Governments and people of Nigeria irrespective of religion, tribe or political affiliation.”

Politics / Buhari Assured Of 2 Million Votes From Borno by NAPC1(m): 2:19pm On Jan 22, 2019
All Progressives Congress in Borno promised President Muhammadu Buhari 2.3 million votes in the 2019 presidential election.

This was disclosed by the state party chairman of the party, Ali Bukar Dalori at the presidential rally in Borno on Monday.

'We want to promise Your Excellency 2.3 million votes in the coming election,'
Dalori said in his address.

The party chairman asked the president to be rest assured of the support of the people of Borno, stressing that 'this is your first home'.

The state governor, Kashim Shettima also reiterated this while also addressing the crowd.

'Your Excellency you have done a lot to the people of Borno, you love Borno more than your home state of Katsina.

'The only way to give you back what you have done to us is by giving two million votes', the governor said while giving his speech at the rally.

Business / FG Intervenes In Dispute Between Samsung Heavy Industries And LADOL by NAPC1(m): 2:05pm On Jan 22, 2019
FG intervenes in dispute between Samsung Heavy Industries and LADOL. But to What Effect?

The dispute between Samsung and Global Resource Management Free Zone Company (GRMFZC), LADOL’s free-zone management service has continued unabated. The claim, which relates to GRMFZC’s refusal to renew SHI-MCI-FZE’s Operating Licence for the free-zone, appeared in the Lagos Federal High Court again last Thursday, January 17 – with no end in sight.

Even the federal government’s intervention does not seem to have worked.

This is just one of several legal cases between Samsung Heavy Industries (Nigeria) and LADOL, the resolution of which will have far-reaching consequences for the Nigerian economy and the oil and gas industry.

Without an Operating Licence, SHI-MCI-FZE is unable to operate in the free-zone as a subcontractor to SHI Nigeria on the Egina FPSO.

This project has been vital for the Nigerian economy – the FPSO has recently commenced capacity delivery, operating at 200,000-barrels a day.

Further, Samsung Heavy Industries has contributed over US$100-million of tax revenue so far, in addition to providing approximately US$300 million of investment into SHI-MCI-FZE, and thousands of Nigerians with education, training and employment.

This dispute is unique and if not addressed urgently could have major adverse implications in the quest to attract foreign investments into Nigeria.

Some documents seen by the writer revealed that there is so much at stake in the dispute that the federal government has concluded that it must intervene to issue directives towards facilitating a resolution of the impasse.

Intervention is indeed necessary to protect the jobs and livelihoods of over 1,000 Nigerians directly and indirectly employed by SHI-MCI-FZE, to protect the investments in the Nigerian Oil and Gas sector, which is the nation’s principal earner, and to send a message to Nigeria’s international partners that it remains an attractive place to invest and do business.

It was reliably gathered that various Ministries and Agencies of the Federal Government of Nigeria have waded into the dispute.

For instance, it is reported that the Nigeria Export Processing Zone Authority (the primary agency responsible for the administration of free zone areas in Nigeria) has investigated and issued directives on the dispute.

Likewise, in November 2018, further to an independent investigation commissioned by the Honourable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, a report was sent to the Honourable Minister.

The report which was sighted by the writer concluded, amongst other things, that SHI-MCI free-zone operating licence was unjustifiably denied by LADOL and that the licence is renewable for a term of no less than one year once conditions of the licence are fulfilled.

The report concluded that:

1. GRMFZC/LADOL has no discretion over whether to renew the licence once conditions had been fulfilled;

2. GRMFZC/LADOL had no valid grounds under applicable regulation to refuse the renewal of SHI-MCI’s operating licence;

3. GRMFZC/LADOLshould renew SHI-MCI-FZE’s operating licence with immediate effect; and

4. GRMFZC/LADOL’s actions against SHI-MCI-FZE constitute an invasion of property rights with a significant negative implication towards the attraction of foreign investment.

It was also gathered that the Honourable Minister instructed NEPZA, as the governing regulator for the LADOL free-zone and GRMFZC’s regulator, to direct that GRMFZC to immediately grant SHI-MCI-FZE its operating licence.

In accordance with the instruction of the Honourable Minister, it is understood that on January 2, 2019, NEPZA issued a directive to GRMFZC to issue the operating licence to SHI-MCI-FZC.

Almost one month after NEPZA issued the directive to GRMFZC, and after several repeated directions in writing seen by the writer, GRMFZC has still not issued the operating licence to SHI-MCI, apparently in clear disobedience of the order of the Honourable Minister and NEPZA.

The intentions of the Federal Government are crystal clear – to help the parties reach a win-win resolution to the dispute that avoids any deleterious effect on the Nigerian oil and gas industry and the employment of thousands of Nigerians.

How much can Federal Government hope to achieve if the responsible regulators such as NEPZA are unable to enforce directives upon private entities such as LADOL, which are delegates of the Government in respect of the administration of the Free Zone? This issue sets a dangerous precedent – if Nigerian business, through power or influence, can act with impunity and disregard the directives of regulators, this may have grave consequences for the rule of law.

Smith, an investment advisor, writes from the United Kingdom

Nairaland / General / Time To Atikulate - Who Is Really Against Ndị Igbo? by NAPC1(m): 6:12pm On Oct 19, 2018
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu resurfaces, Ohamadike Biafra lives on! The Leader and Convener of IPOB appears again.

The reappearance of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu after some long trip make or Mare for ndị Igbo should be the important question at this time not celebration.

Just like the BUHARI APC led Federal Government who is now bent on frustrating the collective interest of ndị Igbo, this may be another stunt from his co- travelers to mix our celebration with chemical.

We all know Nnamdi Kanu who has been anti anything Nigeria and has successfully made converts who are heads high in this unachievable dream called BIAFRA. He will neither support Buhari nor Atiku/Obi, he’s so engrossed in the known deceit of IPOB/REFERENDUM which is not attainable.

I smell a blackmail, evil, and anti Igbo agenda from the well known plotters of disarray in the land, but this time liberation will thrive.

The emergence of Mr. Peter Obi as the vice presidential candidate for PDP has been some trouble in the land, he is refined, sane and capacitated in every given method to collapse South East and South South for PDP in the next general elections.

They first pulled a stunt with South East PDP “Consultation scam” it was defeated embarrassingly, they implored Oye/Obiano fraudulent APGA to seduce ndị Igbo into doing the regrettable by fielding a presidential candidate from the North in a bid to deny ndị Igbo a voting strength in the coming General elections, it didn’t garner required momentum, now they have released Mazi Nnamdi Kanu so he will brain slave his victims and converts into “No Erection” (No Election in Biafra land) so that the North who are anti Igbo will divide their votes between Waziri & Buhari while the entirety of South west who are now APC zone to vote massively (in bloc) for Buhari/APC leaving PDP to regret ever picking an Igbo Vice presidential candidate.

My candid advice while we celebrate the reappearance of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu let’s know the motive behind his Jerusalem prayer and soon to return. If it’s a mind game to deny ndị Igbo this opportunity of being liberated we will kick against it totally. The litany of Buhari’s evil against ndị Igbo will not stand.

No Election strategy will kill the dream of this promising and productive Igbo Extraction while the Biafra still unachievable.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu once called for restructuring, let him call on his converts to support ATIKU/OBI joint ticket then we will all treasure him.

Politics / Emeka Kalu To Ihedioha, Wike: 'Don't Impose Presidential Candidate On PDP' by NAPC1(m): 7:22am On Sep 27, 2018
Impose presidential candidate on PDP at your own peril, Emeka Kalu warns Ihedioha, Wike

Chairman of Stercoll Group and Director General of Atikulated Agenda 2019, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu has warned a guber aspirant in Imo State, Chief Emeka Ihedioha to desist from imposition of candidate in the coming presidential primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Kalu who was reacting to the revelation that Ihedioha, along with Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike plans to impose someone of their choice, and not a unanimous candidate on the party, said it was appaling that a group of men would contemplate forcing Nigerians accept their choice.

He said that if the party ends up with an unpopular candidate and eventually loses the election to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), no one should run away from the country. Kalu spoke from the United States.

Hear him: “It saddens me to learn that two noble gentlemen I respect so much in our great party are planing to influence the coming presidential primaries in favour of their own candidate. If it’s true, then not only is this sad but a dangerous trend that will demarket the PDP and cost us the coming presidential elections.

“Governor Nyesom Wike and Chief Emeka Ihedioha must rethink and do the needful now. They obviously are on a suicide mission and if they impose this calamity on our party, Buhari will chase them out of Nigeria. Posterity will judge anyone who puts Nigerians in harm’s way for his own selfish or ulterior gains.

“Ihedioha should not forget in a hurry too how he was made by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. They must allow the primaries to hold and whoever emerges should run as the party’s presidential candidate. Don’t forget that all Nigerians are looking up to PDP at this point and it will be suicidal if we fail them”, Kalu warned.

ChangeIsCostant:
The family of Ejeh is in serious pains after experiencing a fire outbreak believed to have been caused by adulterated kerosene in Anambra state. It was gathered that a stove in the kitchen (apparently filled with the adulterated kerosene) - exploded just like that and caught fire before spreading to other parts of the house.

The woman and her four out of five children including a new baby - were burnt in the process. Some of the children were badly burnt beyond recognition in the unfortunate mishap.

The children and their mother are currently in the hospital.

Meanwhile, the federal government has been urged to set up agencies that supervise the distribution of kerosene to mop up the fake product from the market.

Introvert comes from Latin intro- , "inward," and vertere , "turning." It describes a person who tends to turn inward mentally. Introverts sometimes avoid large groups of people, feeling more energized by time alone.
Introversion is at its root a type of temperament. It is not the same as shyness or having a withdrawn personality, and it is not pathological. It is also not something you can change. But you can learn to work with it, not against it.

Introvert Facts

• 75 percent of the world is extroverted.

• Being introverted affects all areas of your life.

• Nothing is wrong with you.

• Introverts feel drained and overstimulated.

• Being introverted is something to be celebrated.

Common Introversion Traits

Introversion is marked by a number of sub-traits:

1. Very self-aware

2. Thoughtful

3. Enjoys understanding details

4. Interested in self-knowledge and self-understanding

5. Tends to keep emotions private

6. Quiet and reserved in large groups or around unfamiliar people

7. More sociable and gregarious around people they know well

8. Learns well through observation.

Politics / I Have Not Defected From PDP, Says Atiku by NAPC1(m): 12:25am On Aug 27, 2018
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said that he is still in the Peoples Democratic Party, urging his followers to disregard a rumor that he has defected to another party.

Atiku, who defected from PDP to the All Progressives Congress in 2014, but returned to the PDP early this year, asked his supporters to ignore the rumour.

A statement from his campaign office in Abuja on Sunday said the defection rumour was not true.

The defection rumour had claimed that Atiku had picked a former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Prof. Charles Soludo, as his running mate on the ticket of the All Progressives Grand Alliance.

But the Sunday statement described the report as “a malicious attempt to confuse the public” about the aspiration of Atiku ahead of the forthcoming presidential primaries election of the PDP.

It said, “For avoidance of any doubts, Atiku remains the front-line aspirant for the presidential ticket of the PDP.

“In the past two months, Atiku Abubakar has moved across states in the country, consulting with stakeholders of the PDP and explaining to them his agenda as encapsulated in the acronym JOBS (Jobs, Opportunity, Being united and Security) for Nigeria.

“The nationwide consultations continue this week with visits to the South West, North West and North Central zones of the country.

“Atiku’s passion and commitment to winning the PDP primaries is without any compromise and to assume that he will abandon the hard work he has done with the positive results he is getting from the stakeholders of the party is, to say the least, preposterous and unthinkable.

“The campaign calls on supporters of Atiku to remain steadfast and see the contrived news of defection as an an attempt to distract it from the set task of winning the PDP ticket and the 2019 presidential election by the grace of God.”

Politics / Atiku Support Group In Adamawa Mocks Okorocha For Daring Atiku by NAPC1(m): 12:00pm On Aug 23, 2018
The Atiku Abubakar Independent Volunteer Movement, one of the Support Group for Atiku 2019 has blasted Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha for claiming he will defeat Atiku Abubakar anywhere, including the Waziri’s home state of Adamawa.

In a statement issued today the group advised Governor Okorocha to first clear outstanding salaries owed Imo workers and pensioners before setting out to Adamawa to defeat Atiku.

The statement, signed by the Group’s Adamawa State Coordinator Malam Adamu Babayola, also advised Okorocha to first reconstruct urban and intra-state roads in Imo state which are in very deplorable condition; and render account of how he has spent hundreds of billions that accrued to the state treasury under his watch.

“Our people in Adamawa will gladly welcome you to come and test your popularity against our illustrious son, the Waziri Adamawa. It is obviously clear that you prefer diversionary theatrics to serious governance; therefore we invite you to Adamawa to see for yourself industries projects which Atiku has built to empower Nigerians irrespective of tribe or religion”.

Governor Okorocha, the group stated, is one good reason why Nigerians must vote out APC in 2019. “Okorocha, epitomizes incompetence and megalomaniac leadership. He has degraded the state capital, once acclaimed as the cleanest city in Nigeria, into an unpassable, waterlogged and unkempt dumpsite of red sand and collapsing bridges. Economically, Imo State has lost its competitiveness and will require many years to recover from Okorocha’s financial recklessness. It is delusionary that a Governor who has destroyed people’s hope and impoverished his state will be preferred to Atiku who has invested in people and transformed their lives.

“We advise Governor Okorocha to remember an old African proverb that said when a child shakes the baobab tree, he only wastes his energy”.

Education / Victor Koreyo, Lecturer Renounces Nigerian Citizenship; Writes Buhari by NAPC1(m): 11:40pm On Apr 15, 2018
Mr Victor Koreyo, Lecturer, Department of Ceramics and Glass Technology, Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana, Afikpo, Ebonyi, has declared intention to renounce his Nigerian citizenship for what he called social injustice.

Koreyo in a letter to President Muhammadu Buhari, made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, said he was demoted for a period of eight years by the management of the institution and urged the President to endorse his request.

NAN discovered that a directive was given by the Federal Government in 2007 directing all lecturers to produce additional qualification relevant to the job they do.

It was gathered that the 7th Governing Council of the institution gave Koreyo two years to produce a foreign institution master degree in Ceramic Science and Engineering or he would be dismissed from service.

Koreyo from Nasarawa State, said that the management of the polytechnic refused to communicate the information to him in written.

He alleged that since 2010 till date, the institutions had refused to approve his application for staff development opportunity because the Igbo constituted principal officers in the school.

He also said that several communications to the institution from the Head of Service of the Federation (HOSF), Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Servicom and host of others, on the issue was in his favour for reinstatement.

Koreyo also accused the ministry of Education for allegedly writing a counter-directive letter to the rector to disregard the government directives issued by the HOSF and AGF.

According to him, this is social injustice that is not in line with the 1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“I love to continue as citizen of this great nation on earth.

“But since I do not have the financial power or connection to challenge the Rector to obey the Federal Government’s directives in my favour, I decided to take this peaceful action.

“I believe this peaceful action and step of honour will prevent the rector from killing me by premeditated frustration of my constitutional rights to social justice as the citizen of Nigeria.

“I have nursed this feeling of suicide to end these eight years of frustration by the Rector and officials of the Akani Ibiam Polytechnic division of tertiary education department of the Federal Ministry of Education.

“And have decided the renunciation of my citizenship by birth will be the best way to peacefully end my quest for social justice at the ministry of education and finally resign from Federal Public Service of Nigeria,” he said.

However, a staff of the ministry of education told NAN, on condition of anonymity, said that the ministry was already looking into the matter.

According to him, the matter is also before the newly constituted council of the institution.

He urged Koreyo to be patient as the new council would resolve the problem.

“I just got to know that the new council was already handling the matter and it is a national issue.

“ The Federal Government has constituted a body to look into this problem because it is a general problem and not peculiar to him alone.

“ A directive was given to some staff to go and acquire more knowledge and those that brought their master degrees in relevant disciplines were upgraded.

“But in his own case, where he got his masters is not relevant and is not in line as at that time.

“I want to say that the matter is before the new council so he should exercise patient,” the Ministry source told NAN.

Meanwhile, the authorities of Akanu Ibiam Federal polytechnic, Uwana in Afikpo noted that the decision of the institution was in compliance with the directive of National Board for Technical Education (NBTE),

Dr Edmond Oyeneho, a former chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, Akanu Ibiam Federal polytechnic, Uwana chapter, told NAN in Afikpo that the institution was acting on instruction.

According to him, NBTE in 2007 introduced a policy aimed at ending the dichotomy between polytechnic and University education in Nigeria.

He said the policy, which upgraded the course content of Polytechnic education to be at par with University education, also mandated lecturers in Polytechnics without Master degrees in their core areas to upgrade.

He explained that the policy took about three years before its implementation started across Polytechnics in Nigeria.

He noted that many lecturers in the polytechnic system, who had fallen short of the new requirements had to enroll for either Master in Science or Master in Arts degrees programmes in their core areas.

“At the expiration of the three years grace period all Polytechnics in Nigeria including Uwana implemented the policy by demoting all lecturers in the system without Master’s in their core areas to lecturer 1.

“Those who went and remedied their situation came back and were reinstated to their former positions.

“Koreyo was therefore in line with the policy demoted from the senior lecturer position he previously occupied to lecturer 1 because of his failure to upgrade his situation.

“He is a lecturer in the department of Ceramics and Glass Geology but he went to Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), to do a Master degree programme in Management Project and was awarded Master Business Administration (MBA).

“The academic programme did not fulfill the NBTE requirement because MBA is a professional programme, while Master of Science (M.Sc) is an academic qualification required to teach in Polytechnics and universities, ” Oyeneho said.

Oyeneho, a senior lecturer in the Department of Public Administration and Director, Internally Generated Revenue in the institution, criticised Koreyo’s threat to denounce his Nigerian citizenship.

He said that the institution would not be blackmailed and forced to reinstate him to his former position in disregard to existing policy direction.

“He is not alone in the situation and it will be a disobedience to existing NBTE policy to isolate him for preferential treatment.

“The MSc programme was sponsored by TETFUND with N5 million study grant and affected lecturers receive their full monthly salary throughout the duration of the academic programme,” he added.

The Director General of Atikulated Agenda 2019 and a Former Gubernatorial Aspirant of APGA in Abia State, Dr. Emeka Charles Kalu has urged Nigerians to vote out President Muhammadu Buhari from power come 2019.

In a statement through Comrade Sunny Idika, He said the APC led federal government has failed Nigerians and should be voted out come 2019.

He said, "Under the APC government, the dividends of democracy is comprehensively abysmal. The masses are completely frustrated and our youths are totally helpless."

"The fragile nature of our mutual existence as a nation cannot be over exaggerated. As a matter of fact, the sentiments of our cultural, religious and social differences is an ever constant feature of the APC government."

The Director General of Atikulated Agenda further stated that "There's a need to undertake enormous reintegration of all divergent groups into a united Country, which the APC administration has failed to do, with recent killings by rampaging Fulani herdmen across the Country".

"APC should be voted out because the masses are tired of their lies and propaganda. Everything about them is fake and dangerous for a Country like Nigeria. It is time to CHANGE the change."
