Good evening all, please there was no provision for where I can upload my bank statement on my immigration account. Please where can I upload it or should I wait for them to request for it? Secondly can I request for my statement from the bank in case they ask for it during the public holidays? Will it still be valid anytime? |

Thank you for this information. I’m studying to write the exam, should I still follow the guide you gave in 2014? It's been 6 years since i wrote this post and i still can't believe how this post has transformed into an amazing community of people working collaboratively to pass this exam. That said, i believe the materials and guidelines listed in the original post are currently inadequate. While it's been years since i wrote the GRE, there are two key information that are timeless. 1. The only resource you need is the Official GRE prep book. It's an excellent resource written by the creators of the exam. Who best to learn from than those who created the exam? Ignore every other book and just get the Official GRE guide. 2. The official GRE practice tests are extremely valuable. Powerprep online and Powerprep plus online are all you need. They are the closest substitute to the real exam. Before taking the test, i beg you, please do at least one Powerprep Practice test. I would strongly suggest you do the Powerprep plus online test. Yes, its a paid service but trust me, it's worth every penny. Please note, I failed to do this and it was evident in my scores. Once you get these resources (the book and the practice test), the rest is up to you. Create a study plan and then study as much as you can. As you study, please try as much as you can to do the exercises in the books. Your learning is complete when you can answer questions related to that concept flawlessly. If you can’t solve problems, brotherly…sisterly…your learning is incomplete. Kindly go back and relearn the material. Finally, after studying, do the Powerprep online or Powerprep plus tests. It might take you weeks or months to study and write the exams. It doesn't matter. Do what works for you with an eye on the college admission cycle. At this point, you are most likely prepared for the main exam. Go forth and slay your test with grace. I know the process may not be as linear as stated above. You would have days where you have no desire to study. Sometimes, you might even feel lonely. This is entirely normal. To keep going, surround yourself with like minded achievers - they are many amazing people on this forum who you can connect with. Additionally, pay attention to your health, sleep and diet. The brain works superbly when you are well fed, sleep well and have a stable emotional life. Before i leave, i just want you all to know that life is a beautiful journey. Stay focused and keep working on your dreams. One day you would wake up and discover you are living your dreams. It has been that way for me. I started with the believe that i would study and live in the US. Today, i am living that dream. Stay blessed. Danja.

Someone got her admission revoked due to delay in visa approval but got her study permit approved 3 days later. Please what’s the best thing to do at this moment? Can she reapply for January admission? The school has not yet refunded the part payment she made. |

Please I need information concerning GRE as I heard it increases one's chances in getting funding for PhD. Recently I was denied admission from two Universities maybe because of no GRE score, even though they waived GRE for fall admissions. Please I would like to know how I can register for the exam and how long I will need to prepare before I can sit for it. Also is it CBT or PBT and how do I get study materials? |

Hello house, Does IRCC have a visa office in Lagos now? A colleague's file was transferred to Lagos from Ottawa. PS. This application was refused initially in July then reopened in Jan for reconsideration. 1 Like 1 Share |
nawa. So what was the actual reason for refusal I am not satisfied that you meet the requirement(s) under paragraph(s) 25 (1) (d) because you have not submitted sufficient evidence to satisfy me that you declared work experience with University of Uyo (National Youth Service Corps) was remunerated as a Teaching assistant declared NOC4012. Therefore, your claim of having acquired foreign work experience in Nigeria under NOC4012 from University of Uyo (National Youth Service Corps) cannot be considered. This change in your qualifications resulted in a loss of points that brought your rank below the lowest ranking person who was invited to apply in your round of invitation, under the Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System. As I have found that you no longer possess the qualification on the basis of which you were ranked |

Please I'm asking for a friend. Her application was refused on the 30th of Aug, she used NYSC as work experience and attached only the payment that was made by the school where she did her primary assignment stating that she was paid 60k for accommodation and 5k monthly for transport. She mailed the visa office (Ottawa) to reconsider her application. She uploaded the nysc allowee account and posting letter. Please is there anything else she can do so that her application can be reopened again? Thank you. 1 Like |
