Iran has a lot of military infrastructure that will be expensive and take time to redevelop, and they have barely done any damage to the US military. They may have some hidden away, but still.
They do have leverage and a strategy of making it economically painful that Trump and co didn't sufficiently think through (I don't think Israel cared. They'll burn down the world if it meant they keep their land). But that leverage doesn't make them elite.

Barely? Let me tell you why this is not accurate. Because the actual cost of the war is being suppressed by The Clown King, his entire administration, including Centcom.


The AN/FPS-132 early warning radar system stationed at the Al Udeid base in Qaatar valued at over $1bn is destroyed. This is the principal early warning missile system as part of the layered system that protects the entire middle east. At a replacement duration of nearly 10 years and cost upwards of 1bn dollars, it is already a huge doubt if that base will ever come alive again.


On top of this, the Iranians have destroyed 2 x AN/GSC-52B SATCOM terminals on the Fifth Fleet US Naval Base in Bahrain and cleared the entire Fifth fleet base. The USS Ford and its entire carrier strike group had to retreat, and are now looking to reload at Indian bases.


The Iranians also destroyed 4 x AN/TPY-2 Terminal High Altitude Area Defence (THAAD) Battery and Missile defence systems in the UAE. To put things in perspective, the US has only 10 of these things stationed around the world. Only 10. It's so bad, the US is now looking to move THAAD systems from Korea.

Just so you know, the delivery duration by Raytheon for one THAAD system is 3 years. To put things in perspective, the first of 7 to have been delivered to Saudi was delivered only in 2024. Raytheon has not communicated delivery of the remaining 6 units. The combined costs of those 7 units........$2.3bn.



Iran has shot down about 12 x MQ-9 reaper drones in only 3 weeks. There's only 250 made by General Atomics. General Atomics stopped making these. They can never be replaced . These things cost $30m a piece.



Iran has shot down 4 x F-15 and 1 x F-35 fighter jets, despite what CENTCOM says. It doesn't look good for the US to admit that 4 fighter jets were downed by Iran, especially as the F-35 is sold as "stealth"..... It puts the entire western Military alliance is a state bewilderment. Each F-35 is $83m. It takes about 18months to have one delivered.



Iran shot down 1 x KC-135 and destroyed minimum 5 x KC-135 Stratotankers at the Prince Sultan Air base in Saudi. Price per unit, modern adjusted value - $80m per unit. KC135s are EOL. They can never be replaced.





Iran has systematically exploited a supply vulnerability in the US' and Israel's missile defense systems by launching in waves, using a combination of drones, missiles and hypersonic missiles in each wave. It's public data that the US had only ever received delivery of 920 missiles from Lockheed Martin.....Ever! The Patriot, THAAD, Arrow, David Sling, and Iron Dome systems all require multiple missile launches per instance, to achieve 92% success rate at neutralising a single inbound projectile. As a result, it's only a matter of time. The US and Israel will run out of Air Defence capability.

Maximum Production capacity for these missiles, at least for the THAAD and Patriot Systems, is 92 and a paltry 600 respectively, a year !!!!
The US is looking to quadruple production rates, but Lockheed Martin is saying it will take about 7 years to reach those increased numbers. 7 years ! I am not making this up, this is unclassified, publicly available data.


Now answer honestly, do you really think based on this, Iran has not done significant damage to the US' military? The only difference is that it is not fought on US soil, and so much of this information is bare from being shared on MSM.

The US can see that this war must not run on for months, or else it will spread itself seriously thin, and become a paper tiger overnight. This is why wise heads are prevailing and urging Trump to wind this down quickly. Shock and Awe has not worked against the Iranians. People like us have always known that.



By the way, all the while, the US is aware that they have barely touched Iran's underground infrastructure. The US is also aware that not only do the Iranians have a stockpile of missiles, drones, hypersonic missiles, and now ICBMs with range over 4000km, they are aware that Shahed drones are being manufactured in China with industrial replacement capacity of several thousands a month, compared to unit scales of the US.


I have not even talked about the geopolitical and economic exploitation of the US.


I tell you, it is elite. Save for dropping nuclear bombs on Iran, the Iranians will outlast the US in this war and cause significant military damage to the US, despite it being fought on Iranian soil.... Everything you see up here was meticulously planned for years.

There are not many countries in the world that can, under US and Israel bombardment, still manage to

1. Wipe multiple US bases off the map over several countries,
2. Degrade America's capability to wage war by destroying early-warning radar systems over half the continent,
3. Shoot down US reaper drones and now F35s,
4. Reduce all GCC countries to puppets and sitting ducks,
5. Strangle and threaten the US' entire carrier strike fleet, forcing them to fall behind Iranian missile attack range.
6. Threaten US economic stability by attacking the very anchor of the petro-dollar......
7. Force Israel and the US to beg for military assistance from other countries.
7. Manage to reverse decades of economic sanctions during the war.......

....all at a fraction of cost it would take the US to do the same.

This is elite.



On the subject of Nuclear weapons, I don't like it either. I am nonproliferation to the core. But in the face of tyranny, nothing beats deterrence like Mutually Assured Destruction. If they don't get the bomb, the US, the Israel lobby within it, and Israel itself will never stop.

If Israel will not even admit having nuclear weapons and submit to the NPT, then even Nigeria should get one of they can.
