amodu: But don't you think the back passes are too much?
When the attackers are pressed, they pass to the midfield, from there ball returns to the defence and then to Kepa. Is Kepa press resistant?
Our backward passes are too much and it attract too much pressure. Are you saying we should not pass to Kepa because he's lacking in confidence or that we should reduce the number of passes to the GK altogether? |

rationalmind: Are you the only one that does not know Azpi and Pulisic have been injured?
As for Thiago, if Lampard says he's not fit then he's not fit. You can't say because Thiago(liverpool) is fit then Thiago(chelsea) must be fit. The problem we have is that everyone has been arranging best Chelsea 11 since the summer, salivating at the prospects of heavenly football, and expecting everything to click from the outset -.hit the ground running essentially. The display of lack of patience is staggering. I have always felt we will not see 1st gear football until about 10 games in. I mean we've started to see people break ranks with Lamps even with only 2 games in. Pulisic, Ziyech, Chilwell, Silva, Mendy, and a fully integrated Havertz yet to join the team, and people are already making conclusions. |

Ibime: Losing 2-0 after going down to ten men is at least not a big disgrace. God no go shame us. True talk. I didn't expect Liverpool not to win anyway. Not for Kepa, it could have been 1-0. That in my eyes is not a bad result. |

swiz123: Spending 200m is one thing, the kind of players it is spent on is another.
Do you think if a club like Madrid or Barca need desperate signing to cover for a lacking position, they'd go for a player who is injured or not fit to play immediately. Reason is that, if such poor decision gives their opposition some point advantage, such point might end up being the difference.
Chelsea never had intention of winning the league and Champions League unlike Liverpool and Man city. You are completely wrong. You are looking at this through a prism of immediate success. You want to be like Liverpool of today but failing to state that it's taken the Liverpool of today 5 seasons to do this. The way you put it, it's like no single person at the club did any impact analysis of the absence of the players and that your mention of it here, is the first time its said or thought about. This is what happens when you analyse football through the prism of immediate success. You start to accuse the most notorious football club owner in the world (one who's fired more managers than anyone else) for lacking ambition. |

swiz123: Just like I said earlier, why buy players who aren't ready to compete immediately?
Why buy Silva when he isn't ready to play immediately?
why buy Chillwell when he won't be competing immediately?
Aside goalkeeper, those two positions were our weakest link last season and we recruited players who weren't going to fix the immediate problem.
Only a club with no ambition does that and Chelsea currently lacks ambition. When I think I have heard the worst, I hear something new. The club spends over £200m in one window, yet you think it had 'no ambition' ? |

Well thought out by Frank. Timo's presence on the left is keeping TAA cautious, which is protecting Alonso who is the known weak link; whilst allowing Alonso to attack. Thoughtful tactics |
