Reports flying around claim that Chelsea have sealed the Mata deal. Personal terms being ironed out. Marca are claiming that Mata will have the Number 10 shirt. That could mean Benayoun is off to Spurs in a player + cash deal. |

Ibime: These lot think footballers are magicians that conjure up magic half-heartedly.
Have you ever played a winger who refused to double up with his full-back or refuse to track or pass on advancing opponents to his fullback?
Or a midfielder who refused to run off the ball to create the angle for a pass?
Nasri at his best is not a game-winning magician enough of the time talkless of against Liverpool. Henri Lansbury will perform ten times better than an unmotivated Nasri. Before sef, is his direct opponent not Jordan Henderson who he outperforms for England U-21s. Abegi, who is Nasri to deserve spot if he can't be bothered? How is it possible to support Chelsea yet have this manner of opinion about Arsenal? I cannot help but reiterate that you are a closet Arsenal fan. I'd be popping a drink if Arsenal field a player who isn't bothered. You, on the contrary sound concerned. How can that be? |

coogar: na yam? if they keep tevez and add torres in the mix, city cannot win the premier league.
with mancini at the helm, playing 8-1-1 formation? no chance. the simple most important edge is. . . . .united/chelsea know how to win games when it gets tough. city and the others don't.
i am not scared of city one bit. they will get massacred by several mid-table teams this season. beating a newly promoted side at home will not scare me one jot. should i be scared bolton too? they won 4-0 away from home without aguero. |

Ibime: Aguero is only looking scary to me alongside Tevez. Tevez looks equally scary alongside Aguero.
Both of em represent a combination of bull-like players with close control that any defence would find hard to deal with.
Take any of them in isolation and I hold no fears anymore than I would playing against Atletico Madrid or Citeh (before Aguero).
EPL defenders would not be able to handle the combination. I really hope they move Tevez on, if Tevez changes his mind and stays, City will win the PL. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread:Home Of The Blues!!!! by nateevs(m): 12:45am On Aug 16, 2011 |
Ibime: No one says Aguero would not cop 20 goals. That's what he does in Spain. His value is simply relative to what you have and Chelsea are not lacking in striking dept. In light of prices paid for Torres, Carroll etc since the transfer was muted, £40m (the figure quoted Chelsea) looks like fair value, however before the madness of the last 2 transfer windows, it definitely wasn't. Simples. Everybody knows Aguero so stop acting like you discovered oil under a rock. In the meantime, just sit back and pray that your last big co-sign Torres starts to deliver before running your machinegun. . .although nothing less than 35 goals a season is worth £50m.
Aguero would tear his hamstring within 2 months. hehehehe. Yeah yeah! Another wiggle. Sebi na you. It's never a case of if Chelsea don't lack in a department. If he can do a better job than what we have, he is by all means welcome. If I search well sef, I am sure to find posts of you telling us how Aguero was not made for the PL. Lastly, I hope you are not suggesting that I suggested a Torres transfer. |

Ibime: ^^Nor trip. He's only "worth it" in comparison to your other "sure fire bet" - Torres. anuofia. Yeah yeah. You always find a way out. Aguero will cop 20 goals in the PL in his first season. . . easily! He's got skill, strength, vision and one wonderful eye for goal. And he's only 23. £35m? City will be looking like smart brokers. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread:Home Of The Blues!!!! by nateevs(m): 12:11am On Aug 16, 2011 |
Ibime: Nna men,
The way Aguero and co display today, it would be a three way fight for the title. We thought £40m was too much for Aguero until we went and paid £50m for Torres. Kai!
We would need to buy two more players if we plan to wrestle the title away from the following front-4s:
Hernandez
Young Rooney Nani
And:
Aguero
Nasri Tevez Silva Oh! I remember you and BlueDiva specifically telling me we don't need him and how he was too expensive. You shell out on Aguero, you get rewards. Simple as! . . First Dude I put on my FPL. I only removed him last minute because I read reports he was injured. |

The same Chelsea of last season turned up? I'm sorry but I saw very different things man. You cannot expect to walk over Stoke at the Britannia. They are even stronger this year. Stoke are no push-overs and I still do not see anyone giving credit for how string they were.
The Chelsea performance to me was great save for Malouda and Kalou who were the two guys we relied on for long to make things happen. The movement, the quick passing, the pressing, the intelligent use of space were all things I noticed. In defence, everyone was coming back to defend, including Torres - sacrificing the chances of a counter. That's the willingness to work as a team. For me, that's a manager who works out how to play for a particular game, not just a typical Chelsea.
Towards goal, we could have been much better. We could have been more creative. However, considering the fact that we still have Danny, Luiz, Lukaku, Oriol, Kakuta and possibly Modric to join the team, we can only be better. West Brom up next are going to be much loose in defence than Stoke.
I was particularly impressed with Mikel, Bosingwa and Torres. Things will pick up from here and we'll be better. |

alexflash: why all this talk about power? At least for a start, Someone who wants to invest in this venture should take a strong look at the latest Solar power technologies and virtualization. Virtulization would take care of having a number of power hungry servers! Consolidation You cannot rely on a single source of power generation if you are serious about Data centres. All single points of failure must be eliminated. I recently did some work in a Barclays Bank Data Centre in Slough, they had regular power source backed up by generators which also are backed up by back-up generators. Three layers of redundancy. And that's why we are talking about power. Virtualization is a different topic on it's own. Virtualization can only work for certain purposes. Virtualization cannot work for co-location of Routers, Switches and others devices that cannot be virtualized. So yes you will those power hungry devices humming away. |
