What is wrong? I hope today's not one of those days.
Wrong passes, no shots on goal. City look more comfortable.

You know, the world will not come to an end if for once you don't meet your daily quota of shittalk. . .

If the jokers are 7 points clear of Chelsea, then what do we call Chelsea? Wit-crackers? cheesy
Hehehehe. E dey pain you? 7 points clear would become 5 and then 3 . . . . and then the status quo.

Hehehe LMAO @ Debo.

When all is said and done, the fighting performance gives me some confidence for the run in - the lads didn't meekly submit to losing the game but came back fighting. Nonetheless, the two points dropped are enormous.
It's freaking West Brom for pete's sake.  undecided undecided And that's why all unfounded confidence should be lost at this moment in time. If Chelsea beat City, Chelsea will win the league. That's how terrible these jokers are.

If I were GEJ, I will revoke their license for baseless propaganda (defiling my name and good intentions)
This epitomizes everything wrong with the Nigerian State. He will ask that the President revokes "freedom of the media" because of personal issues. Yet we wonder who those are that consider voting in GEJ.

If people like this don't understand basic social ethics by default, how do you explain to them that it isn't worth voting for GEJ?

I did not say form is the only thing that gets you through. I however, will not subject to your assertion of form being inconsequential.
FC Copenhagen were lethargic in the first leg of the encounter with Chelsea. They were on break in their league. In the second leg, it was different. Yes we could well have gone a few goals ahead, but it was tighter.

So form is important but it is not all that gets you through.

Nateevs, form doesn't really count in big games like this.
That goes out of the way when Utd and Chelsea clash.
Good thing you said it doesn't "really" count.

Title winning team my arse. They drop 4 points in two consecutive games and they want to win the EPL. I asked time and again, what will happen when we beat Utd? Now this is why I asked.

Not the worst but not the best.

Before Ancelotti, I didn't fear any team in the UCL except Barca, but now I'm somehow hoping to draw Schalke or Shakhtar, and every other draw looks LOSABLE!
What do you mean before Ancellotti? In his five meetings with Utd since joining Chelsea he's won 4 and lost 1. That's some achievement. I know that's insufficient to claim any sort of superiority over Utd. There has been little between us over the past few seasons in terms of win margin and that goes outside the window in a two legged tie. You still have to fancy a win over Utd. It's not easy neither is it impossible.

The tie in two weeks will be decided by a number of crucial factors including.

For United.

The bad.
Utd's form of late has been ordinary at best. A better side than Marseille would have thrown Utd out of the competition.
Injuries - United have more players injured than not. They have a weakened midfield and defense.

The good.
The return of Valencia - I have watched him come on as a sub in two consecutive games and that dude gives Utd a razor-sharp egde.
Ferguson is a genius of the the dreaded two-legged tie.
Rooney and Hernandez are in form.
Playing away first.

For Chelsea.

The bad.
Carllotti will play the way he decides to irrespective of the opposition. We have to hope we are mentally stronger on the night.
Our top Strikers are yet to find the net. Only Kalou and Anelka seem to know where the goal is.

The good.
As at this writing, every single player is back from injury. Including Alex and Benayoun.  The timing is perfect.
We seem to be slowly picking up form.
Torres against Vidic. (Red card)  grin
Thunder doesn't strike in the same place twice.

A tough one to call. The two legs are going to be very tight. I really hope we can beat our bogey team City on Sunday. That could send us on a roll. Any one of us could go through but I have to say it's us. And I do believe we can win the whole competition.

owobokiri:
Jonathan is a disaster waiting to happen. His foreign policy outlook so far should worry any body who wants to see a real independent Nigeria. Gadaffi might be an enemy of the west but he is the only pro African Arab leader left. We dont have any personal beaf with this man. At worst, Nigeria should have abstained and not vote to allow France and Britain bomb thousands to their early graves in Libya JUST TO STEAL OIL.  It is not right for Nigeria to join the gang to destroy an African country just to actulaise western interests. The Saudis and the Yemenis are shooting up protesters. Bharain is using nerve gas on protesters. What is the US and her baby the UN doing about this?  All the same, you have to blame Gadaffis arrogance for some of this. He has a lot of oil, he should have shared a bit with some coutries within the security council.  That is realistic diplomacy. The only reason the Sudanese excaped this kind of action after the genocide in Darfur was because of Chinese massive investments in their oil fields. If Russia or China was involved in Libyas oil industry in a big way, this resolution would have been dead on arrival. With the talks of his old airforce and navy, he seem to have learnt nothing from Saddam and Iraq. Yet everybody else knew he was next after Saddam.
Ok. Jonathan is no buff with foreign policies and international relations, I still do not accept that we should abstain from voting. The west do have an agenda (Oil), Gaddafi himself is no saint and has brought this upon himself. There weren't rebels from the outset, there were protesters. Like there were in Egypt and Tunisia. His people didn't want him hence the protest. Who are we to desire otherwise for them? No man should rule his household for that long let alone a whole nation.

The people want him to leave and leave he must. Leave the inconsistencies of the west for a minute, Gaddafi leaves first, everything else after.

Its been confirmed now. . £5.3m. . .

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3472520/Chelsea-sign-Brazil-wonderkid-Lucas-Piazon.html

Hopefully he comes correct o. . Are we still going to get Neymar?
Wht I heard is that he can't sign until he is 18. That's not until Jan 2012. So like Pato could not play for Milan even though he had a pre-contractual agreement, Lucaz won't be able to play.

I am however playing cautious here because a lot could happen with these young players from Brazil before 2012.

Ramires improves with every game.

Anelka out for Torres. I don't quite like that. Drogba and Torres should not play together because they are similar in movement. I do hope he scores anyway.
