Mutilated? I laugh in Emirates. . . Everybody beat Chelsea. Even Wolves. That's some landmark achievement? If you beat Chelsea when they were down already, it's no measure of superiority. Beat us when we are flying and then I give it to you. You know? Like we do. Just when everyone thinks you are the next big thing, we show up, shut you down and put you back to your misery. |

@Witchboy, Slimshady. I never stopped having an opinion about Arsenal when there was a bad moment or otherwise. After all we won the league last year. That much I said and will always say. I was even yabbing you guys before we beat City. Now to your predicament. You probably will beat ManU and Liverpool and you still won't win jack. Because beating the big teams has never been your problem, it's the West Broms and Wigans that truncate any hopes you have for success. The earlier you see it, the better your chances of surviving of a nervous breakdown. |

@Slimshady.
It's not about who sabi maths pass. 9 games = 27 pts reh reh reh. The more important question is if you can pick up max points even with Fab (as debo is making an excuse now).
How can u need Fab to get maxpts against West Brom?
Wise people like A-40 are pointing you to the issues. You never have the mental strength to cross the finish line. That's the problem. |

Another Arsenal fan using the words "fight back" against West Brom. I like those trying to raise confidence levels in here. See what the table looked like exactly this time last year.
I remember witchboy, Debo, and Slimshady ranting about having the easiest fixtures even then . .

ritchboy: The situation can't morph into the status quo for the simple fact it is ALREADY the status quo. . .
What did i tell you about your choice of words? Excuse me if I got the number of years of no trophies wrong. I am never always able to remember on the fly how long the drought has lasted. 5, 6, 7, ? I don't know. My argument was based on context wrt "status quo". . . You think 7 pts, I think years of drought. Clear? |

debosky: Hehehe. . . .I will quote this too, just like the famous 'we will remain 5 points ahead of you till the end of the season'. Have you begun? It's four points now. |

I have been watching Essien closely and he's been really really poor over a number of games. His decision making of late worries me like hell. |

arkinses: and to think Drogba and Anelka are sat, roasting on the bench in a match of this magnitude. See how Lescott just roasted Torres. . .smh! What do you do as a manager with a player who's come with a 50M pound price tag, put him on the bench? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Vs Manchester City [2 - 0] On Sunday 20th March 2011 by nateevs(m): 6:29pm On Mar 20, 2011 |
dipo2much: Chelsea is unlikely to score. City are defending absolutely professionally. They snuffed out a 50M pound striker with ease It's amazing how we only see what we want to see in a game. Chelsea unlikely to score? They snuffed out a 50M pound striker. . . Every other team we've played since we bought Torres has done just that. . . Making it seem like a monumental achievement is something I can't understand. |

Ibime: @ Nateevs,
Zhirkov is looking more like Ferreira these days. He's lost ALL his pace.
Ramires shoulda shot there instead of passing to Lamps. Still, he's got more pace than Malouda and moves the ball more quickly. |

With the way Lamps hit free kicks, anyone should be allowed to take them. We are almost never going to score a free kick through Lamps. |

I'm not seeing this Torres thing wey una dey talk. Make I watch well well.
Its Kalou who I see making moves, plus a few flurries from Malouda and Ashley on this left-side. Oh yeah! Kalou def has been immense so far. You haven't seen Torres? |
