So Ibime since you believe Desailly, what do you still blame for Chelsea's sudden drop in form - The team's new attitude to Terry or Carrlotti's style of play?

I bet you are going to say it's both.

You have illiteracy written all over your posts. You are actually making us believe that governors of other states could do more if only they had access to funds Fashola had. You have actually seen evidence of what they have done with the little they have to make you 100% certain that if they have more they will do more. .? Are you a Nigerian at all? So much for your "seeing the difference everyday" . . .
It so obvious you have been recruited by political touts to spoil, slander and destroy. .

I believe Nigeria is on course because i am here on ground and i see the difference everyday. . the spirit has changed and people are more positive
Which Nigeria is on course? You don't sound like you leave your backyard. . let alone see other states to know "Nigeria" is on course. . . In case you don't know, it's Lagos that's on course . . all the vibes you see coming out of other states is because they dare to emulate the good works of the Lagos State Governor. You don't know anything. . You don't even understand the cause you are fighting for. . .

This difference you see everyday, what do you think brought it to life?. . . What do you think is propelling the new spirit? Where was this new spirit and difference that you see now before Fashola. . ? Now you suddenly think it's a coincidence. . . You are the dullest f-uccker on this site. .

It is obvious youre a fashola acquintance or drone. .your words reek of partisanship and clueless affrontation.
Did you read this part of my earlier post . . . ? "I love to see Fashola probed and probably removed if guilty of the allegations"

Now tell me I am a Fashola acquaintance or drone. . . .I specifically asked you to go back and re-read the post before posting silly comment yet you come back with another round of primary school reasoning,  . . How can you support an agenda when you can't read well and understand. . . If you can't read my simple post and understand what is to say you fully understand your own cause? You don't sound intelligent to me and you are a follow follow nigga!

And I see you talk about "real governance". . . Where have you seen one before since you've never left your backyard ? How do you know real governance is not what Fashola is bringing. . . Only we that have "sold our birth rights", "abandoned the country" and are "washing toilets in London" can claim to know. . and that's why when we see know nots like you, it's clear as day you know not what you talk about.

This guy brings Bus Lanes, Road signs, clearly defined Road markings, Clean roads, Street lights, transport system (Bus and Water - Train to follow), Road expansion projects, building projects, tarred roads, state-level employment, Orderliness at Bus stops, Parking restrictions, tax payments, CCTV, Beautiful parks. See what Leventis and CMS look like now. . . See what Oshodi looks like now. . . and so so so much more I can't talk about now . . These are the basic things you find in first world countries. . and we know because we have come to wash toilets here but you don't because you can't afford you leave your backyard. .

And you dare open your filthy mouth to talk about some messiah coming in 200? bringing "real governance" . . What the fu-ck do you know about real governance? You should run back into your hole and never open disease infested mouth until you are told to do so.

You a very sad and bitter person. . . I guess your house was brought down to pave way for development and your Shop or Store was brought down machinery at Oshodi. . . Something somewhere happened to you,  .
You have given up on life and don't see anything positive coming your way. .
You see life your own way and anything else does not exist.

You can't see past where you stand . . . . Yes Nigerians wash toilets in the UK but at least they can still afford to help you get a good education to learn how to spell correctly and read well before making stu.pid comments on a public forum. . .

Fu-cking waste pipe!

No wonder why youre in the Uk. .you have lost faith in your country and sold your birthright. .Rather than contribute you are wishing and praying that Nigeria goes back to the dark days. .Inshallah that wont happen. .The country is on course, national heroes are evolving daily and the people are getting enlightened. .Fashola is merely a John the baptist because the real jesus christ of lagos is coming. .

Stay in your London and be emailing proposals hoping for s huge score. . .we will stay here and build until the Lagos becomes one that even the British and Americans will come and hustle as you have gone to hustle on their land . .
You are an idi.ot for what you have written.
You also have a big problem with reading and understanding.
Everyone that commended the post saw I where I was clearly getting at.
If you see the post as me "wishing and praying for Nigeria to go back to dark days" then you don't deserve the luxury of a user account on the forum.
Why don't you re-read the post and digest the post before making silly comments. . .

You will also be a big fool if you think that Fashola will be removed and things will carry on as usual. If it is that easy why hasn't Fashola's deeds been replicated in other states? Why haven't we had half Fashola as a head of state?

Why do you have the belief that Nigeria is on course? It is because of the things you've seen Fashola execute. If he is removed, things will go back to status quo. Simple as.

Secondly,
You think every Nigerian in the UK is the same? You sit behind a pc and address everyone in the UK as hustling?
Your naivety can bomb Yar-Adua out of office. I have never talked about my status in the UK on this forum and I am not about to.
I probably contribute more to the growth of Nigeria than you will ever do in your entire life.

Continue to identify with destructive elements and enemies of progress. You shall all be uprooted one after another . . .
Calling Fashola names. . . What have you done to help Lagos. . ?

Chelsea could drop points against Manure (away), Liverpool (away) and Tottenham (away). . . and considering the Citeh result, even Villa (home) could be a problem. . . . and we can also drop points in any other away match. . . even a mid-table club will give Chelsea problems away from SB as our form since December shows.

Arsenal only need to worry about Stoke (away) and Tottenham (away). . . they will beat Citeh at Home.

This is simple Mathematics. . .if Arsenal beat Stoke today, all bets are off on Chelsea finishing in the top 2.

IMHO, Arsenal have just as much chance of winning the league as the top 2. . . .if they beat Stoke today, Im gonna make em my favourites!

I have always maintained that you are a closet Arsenal fan and you would rather Arsenal won the league than Chelsea. .

Go ahead and make Arsenal your favourites. 10 games to go and you already know Chelsea will finish 3rd because it's simple maths.

DS ain't sh/it abeg.
Who the f is DS? Because he's scored in every FA cup game?
Maybe he helped against Fulham, this is City, a serious club.

Kalou didn't play badly today.
He's impact was more than that of your DS.

If Belletti was deployed to the LB, we wouldn't be talking of that challenge. . . cheesy

Get me right my dear, CA ain't a bad manager at all !!!

He just panicked and made the wrong subs. He probably wanted to preserve our home record.
He ended up doing worse. How many centuries ago did CFC concede 4 goals at home?
Hey Diva,
I am not a big DS fan. . . I think he has a very poor first touch, poor technique and is very clumsy . .
Except I will not accept anyone saying Kalou should have come in. .  Do you know how many time we were screaming Kalou's name on Wednesday?
If the plunker were that good, we should have pee'd on Inter like mad. .  Kalou is piss poor. . Good foot work . . confident on the ball but no end product.

So if Belletti was deployed to LB he could not have made the same challenge on the left. .
I can't believe you leave something obvious and you attack Carllotti.

We lost today because Belltti allow the ball to bounce, allowed Barry out-muscle him and get ahead of him, he followed and brought him down from behind, earned them a penalty and got himself sent off. . .
If that did not happen, we won't have conceded a second and with 11 men on the pitch, we would have left with 3pts.

And they will promptly give us the same treatment they gave to Bayern Munich last season.  grin grin grin

I hope you remember that Maicon is also an attacking fullback/ pseudo-winger. . . yet when you see Inter playing in Champions League, Mourinho does not allow Maicon to go forward any and anyhow. . . even Patrice Evra goes purely defensive when Manure is playing Barca, or even Chelsea. . . Great managers adapt to the opposition, silly managers insist on playing the same way all the time.

Anyway, you agree that Ancelotti plays the same style/formation as Scolari. . . thats enough for me. . . one was a failure. . . the other will be.
So why didn't JM win the CL with Chelsea then since his tactics did not involve advancing full backs.
You are saying the same thing. . . We have conceded far less goals as a result of advancing full backs than you are making it seem.

Would you wait till we play Messi and see what happens? When Carllotti was playing without width you blamed him. Now he is playing with width you blame him . . . If he decides not to play with advancing full backs tomorrow, there will be something you take up again.

This is absolute garbage.

Scolari employed attacking full backs but passed endlessly and never created goals.
Carllotti's formation scores goals and by scoring goals, you win games. . . That's a big difference between them.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Vs Manchester City [2 - 4] On Sat, 27th Feb by nateevs(m): 5:47pm On Feb 27, 2010
BlueDiva:
Why did DS come in?
You def know he has little influence on games, be honest.
Kalou woulda made a better impact. DS is a rookie fit for the FA cup only.

Kalou would have come on for Mikel.
Carvalho should never have gone off, what for?
We are short of natural defenders and you take him off?

IMO, all we needed was to bring in Kalou for Mikel
Belletti for Cole.

I wouldn't be hard on Ballack.
Mikel should have done that to Bellemy and gotten a red. That would have been better for us all.

Belletti would never have made that challenge if Carvalho was still on.
DS came in because just when we needed 3 points against Fulham, he came in and created 2 goals in a match that was already lost.
At least Kalou was in the game. . If he was such a game changer why did he not change the game. He did even make a single shot on goal and never crossed the ball to anyone despite playing against Richards.

How many matches has Kalou changed this season? This is just a plot to find someone to blame.

We did not lose the game because Carv went off. . We had more than enough defensive cover in Ivanovic and Terry. .
If we showed up at 12.45 pm today with a defensive line up of Belletti, Ivanovic, Terry, Malouda, would you write the game off even before we kick a ball?
So aw come it's a rash decision. . . I can't believe the way we Chelsea fans have this blame culture.

Are you actually suggesting that Belletti made that challenge becos Carv was not playing ?
So if Carv was injured and Ivanovic and Belletti played together you would have predicted a penalty and a red card because Carv did not play?

What sort of gist is this?

Dont be silly. . . is that not the goal that put Citeh in front? Is that not the goal that LOST the game for us and forced Ancelotti to make a raft of silly substitutions that totally unbalanced our team?
Like you said that's the goal that put them ahead. . but that's not the goal that won them the game.
We are talking about games lost not goals conceded.

And Carllotti did not make raft subs. . I wonder where you guys get all these info. .
Before that red card to Belletti, the team shaped up like this in defence. . .

   ----------------Hilario---------------

Belletti---Ivanovic--Terry---Malouda

                      Ballack

How is this unbalanced. . . . That is a prefect tactical change. . . The same formation we would have played if Mikel and CArv were injured. . .
Why are you guys just wanting to blame. .?That's all I see. .

I am absolutely disgusted that no one is chastising Belletti and Ballack for their stupid challenges. . and everyone is going on about Carllotii. .
If we had Belletti and Ballack on the pitch we woul d have left with all 3 points from 1-2 down.

is is pure rubbish. . . 65% of our goals have come from set-pieces. . . at least 20-25% of the others have come from counterattacks.
Ask youself this question. . . if Chelsea are playing Barca tomorrow, dont you expect a silly manager like Ancelotti to give Zhirkov the licence to attack despite the presence of Messi?
This just buttresses my point that great managers adapt to any situation, whilst brittle managers play the same style regardless of the opposition.
I will go and review every single PL match now and I will give you the exact % of goals conceded from counter attacks and how many of them have caused us to drop points and I will come back to you . .
I will prefer to allow Zhirkov go gung ho against Barca and perhaps force them back and hope we get 3 away goals against a poor defensive Barca than sit 11 men behind the ball for 90mins . . . kill football and create a bad image like we did last season. .

DS is not a player that can influence games. Kalou stands a better chance.
Why did he remove Carlvaho?

Not necessarily.
JM would have won things with this team too.
If Carllotti did not bring DS in, who should he have brought in?
We can't act like we don't watch Chelsea all season. . .
How many times have we watch Chelsea calling for the head of Kalou. . He is a below average player. .
And today DS had more influence on the game than Kalou . . . and has done so many times this season. .
Are you saying this becos we lost?

He also took out Carvalho and moved Belletti to CB. . . Nothing wrong with that. .
That way Belletti's attacking instinct can be employed on the right while we still have a proper centre back in Ivanovic. .
Belletti can cross better on the right and shoot on goal. .
Plus if we have a set-piece Ivanovic is more of a goal threat than Carvalho. . . It was perfect tactics up until Belletti made a foolish decision. .

As if that was not enough Ballack of all experienced players launched at a player causing no danger when he knew he was on a yellow card. .
How is that Carllotti's fault . . ?

CA is to blame for making hurried and wrong subs.

I can't fault the full backs for going forward.
That really ain't the reason for the goals.

The center backs should have stayed at home, what was Carvalho doing in front?
If our goalie wasn't so useless today, things would have been different.

All in all, CA takes little blame for the disaster.
This is untrue . . What subs would you have made and how would you have made them?
It's not enough to say Carllotti made wrong subs. . . What subs were wrong?

I also cannot understand what you mean by rush. . . We were 2 goals down and he brought 2 strikers on. .
If he went on to win the game you would have called him a genius. . .

If Belletti and Ballack were not such utter idio-ts, we would have at least drawn the game because we attacked to the last minute even with 9 men.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Vs Manchester City [2 - 4] On Sat, 27th Feb by nateevs(m): 5:12pm On Feb 27, 2010
Ask yourself the bolded question again. . .
Where was Ivanovic on Bellamy's first goal?
If he's playing his rightful position, do Citeh score?
If either one of Ivanovic or Malouda was in the full-back position, does Tevez score the first goal?
And that's why I told you 3 of the goals we conceded were not from the advancing full backs.
Yes if Ivanovic was there he may not have scored. . which is the downside of the formation.

However, the question remains, Was that why we lost? and the honest answer is . . . NO! That's not why.
So why blame the formation. . ?

Go and review Diego Milito's goal again, and you see similarities. . . in that one, Ivanovic was in his position, but the supposed right-winger (Anelka) was not in his position and allowed Zanetti to create the overload that caused the goal.
At least it wasn't caused by the advancing full back.
That is to tell you that we could have the full back there and still concede. . Why not take a chance. ?
And so far only about 10% of conceded have been as a result of advancing full backs.
On the flip side, we have scored bucket loads of goals.

What I am trying to make you see is that the Scolari/Carlotti formation and style of play is brittle. . . you are liable to win 5-0, and you are also liable to lose 1-0 or 2-0 on several occassions. . . this is not a league-winning  formation/style of play.
The formation is not brittle and I have proved that to you time and again. . .
Carllotti's undoing has been his failure to tackle the set-piece problem once and for all. . .
Take away all the goals we conceded from set-pieces and we will be on top league by at least 15 points. . .
Now tell me is that because of the advancing full back problem? . . . No! . . . Set-pieces have been our let down.
Clear as day. .

So I don't see what you talking about.

Manure are better than us, and they dont have better players than us. . . . if Ronaldo was here, we would be 7 or 8 points behind.
I hope you know that both Grant and Hiddink only lost once in their Premier League careers with Chelsea.
If we had either them or Jose now, I can guarantee we would be 7 points clear.
I am not buying this bullsh-it . . If ManU are better than us, How have we led them for 90% of the season.
If Ronaldo was with Chelsea by how many points would Utd be behind. . .
Oh suddenly you see that players can make a difference. . . and you tell me not to blame the players. .

Why was Jose not leading the table just before his before his sack. . If he was left to stay, it could have been his most disastrous season with Chelsea.
Roman did him a favour . . and if he had stayed, he won't have won the league in that season. . What's to say he will now?

With Grant and Hiddink, they enjoyed the renewed spirit players always have with a new manager . .
A new atmosphere and everyone trying to impress. . . They haven't started a season with the players and gone season long. . So it is irrelevant to compare.

Also it is pretty silly to compare (and we have done this before) players from 2 years ago till now.

There is nothing wrong with Carllotti and his tactics. . . If Carllotti has Essein, Bosingwa, Ashley, Zhirkov and Cech all fit we will not be where we are now.

The loss to Villa was at a stage in the season where a loss was only potentially damaging.

You keep saying at every opportunity this season that the EPL colour is blue.I make no further reference.
If you think we can't win the league because the advantage has been cut to 1 point as opposed to last season's 7, then you either do not know what naive means or you just want to wind us up.

@Ibime,

You are going round in circles. . . I have not told you that Carllotti's formation does not cause teams to counter us. . Of course it does.
But was that the cause of losing today? That, is the bone of contention.

From time to time because of the advancing full backs, We will suffer counter attacks. . It's the downside of the formation. . However we have not conceded more than five goals from counter attacks this season despite how hard you are trying to make us believe . .

80% of the goals we conceded this season have been from set-pieces which have got no bearing on this supposed "advancing full-back problem" you are forcing down our throats. . The two goals we conceded at Inter were not the fault of the advancing full back neither were 3 of the goals we conceded today. . . So what exactly are you trying to make us believe. . . I don't get it.

On the contrary, we have been very adventurous in attack and have loosened on the tight and boring play we used to have. . . as a result, we have scored more goals.

What is the problem you are trying to make us see. . ?

Sharrap. . . it doesnt matter what formation you play if the players dont play their position. . . you say we're playing 4-3-3. . . . ask yourself, are Malouda and Ivanovic really playing fullback?

How come everytime the opponents have the ball, the only people we see back are Mikel, Terry and Carvalho. . . this is EXACTLY Scolari style of playing. . . whatever the formation. . .

Scolari told the players we were playing diamond, but he claims it was a psuedo-3-5-2 with Mikel making an extra centre-back and  the fullbacks always pushing up into midfield. . . Lampard confirmed as much by saying that was how Scolari used to draw the formation on the tactics board.

As far as I can see, its exactly the same thing with Carlotti with fullbacks often up in midfield and Mikel making an auxilliary centre back.

I can understand telling your fullbacks to go gung ho against small teams like Wolves etc. . . but against InterMilan and Man Citeh is just the height of naivety.

Again, Im done talking. . . just waiting for Carlotti's sack.
You are talking rubbish . . .
A few matches ago you were praising him saying he went "4-3-3 ala Barcelona" . .

There was nothing wrong with the tactics Carllotti employed. Everything was bang on.
Carvalho was not supposed to join the attack at least he never does. . He being in defence would have given Chelsea an extra man on the counter. .
Nothing about the full back.

If Cech was in goal, the City's first and second goals will never have been scored. . Whose fault is that? Hilario.
Belletti with all the experience should know you should not hug unto a player from behind like that in the box. . . Is that Carllotti's fault too?

Ballack who is supposed to be the epitome of experience in the squad launches at a player facing his own goal when he know he is on a yellow card. . I mean the player was causing no danger.

At least we are playing the 4-3-3 now. . What's your excuse?

I am watching the replay of the second goal and I see after the cross from Joe Cole, Lampard, Drogba and Anelka just watch on . . Barry picks up the ball and dwells on it for about 5 secs without releasing it. . and there was no one charging to at least prevent a pass the Bellamy. .  Aw is that Carllotti's fault. . ?

Players have responsibilities and we cannot ask for Managers to be fired all the time while we idolize players and exempt them from blame. .

A good sub should have at least reduce the disgrace we're all watching now.
You cannot just say that . .
You have to at least propose what you think he should have done. .

Who do think he brought in that he shouldn't? And who should not have gone out?

Disgrace.
D the Chavs believe they can win the title?
Coming from a ManU fan that lost 1-4 at home to Liverpool and went on to win the game.

Who was the last manager to lose while conceding 3 goals at the Bridge?

Answers on a postcard.

Im 85% sure we would have to go back to Vialli era to find an answer.

@ Nateevs,

Goodluck with supporting Ancelotti. You blamed the players under Scolari, and now you blame the players under Carlotti. Why did you not blame the players under Hiddink?

We still have 30 minutes to go in a game, and he takes off our midfielders and puts on load of wingers/forwards. Who is going to supply them? No wonder Barry just sliced our defence like hot knife through butter.

I hope you guys realise that statistically, Ancelotti is the 2nd worst manager of the Abramovic era.

I hope he wont break Scolaris record before the season is out.
Of course I will support Carllotti . . at least I am consistent at something. .
You blame CArllotti, blame the diamond. . If Carllotti switched to the 4-3-3 we will be flying. .
Now what is your excuse. . ? We led the table for the whole season but that's because ManU have been bad not becos Carllotti did it. .

Another red card caused by Carllotti. .

At least Carllotti is not the cause of the 3rd goal.
