There are two reasons you keep coming back with flimsy counters.

Number one is because you don't understand a simple statement.

Losing disgracefully and picking up yourself to do great things afterwards are two different things.
Two different things . . . Two. DIfferent. things. . . "AFTERWARDS" What is so difficult to understand in these words. . . ?
One is not dependent on the other.
Neither is a prerequisite for the other so why is it wrong to discuss "Losing Shamefully" as a single event. . . ?

There is no reason to lose shamefully, whether you are going to pick yourself back up or not.

Number two

Have you noticed every time you give examples of teams that have bounced back from losing disgracefully you never mentioned Arsenal?
Ok do this test. . . In the last five years how many times have Arsenal lost disgracefully and then gone on to win something?
Me guess is none. . .

So why is Arsenal losing disgracefully not worthy of discussing. . ? Because it is now cliché ?
Why is it unimportant? Don't give me sh.it of Real did this. . Chelsea did that. . . ManU did that. . . balh blah blah!

The fans of those clubs discuss the shame, the players do, the mangers do. . That's why they bounce back. That's why they go on to win things.
Is it coincidental that in the last 5 years when Arsenal is down, they are out? No it is not.

Why? . . because there's lack of pride, lack of honour. .  and according to their spokesman (Mr A-40) . . Losing is losing . . 0-1 or 0-6. . It doesn't give the victors extra points . . .
Ode!

Another reason why it is worth discussing is that losing 0-1 and losing 1-3 might be the difference between securing a Champions League spot at the end of the season. I bet it's still irrelevant eh?

Ago! . . . . Oponu aiyerada!  grin

How many times did you repeat Pry 1? Cos i am tired of repeating maself. Do extra pts get awarded for away wins? A loss is a loss you simpleton as long as its a league and not a K.O competition.
If you where not a slobbering slowpoke you would remember that Real Madrid also lost 4-2 & 4-1 home & away in the UCL to Bayern but still went on to win it! But since you are one that started following footie in 05 after Mou's first title i don't expect you to understand

Why not go and slit your wrists after every shameful defeat Chelsea suffer at least the world would have to deal with one less i.dio.t. Anun Mpam
I actually repeated primary twice.  grin

I don't have to prove to you when I started supporting Chelsea. . . Those who know me know me.
If you think I started after we employed Carllotti, na you sabi. . .

Point 2.
There's no doubt now that you are an i.diot.
Losing disgracefully and picking up yourself top great things after are two different things.

I am telling you a loss is disgraceful and you are telling me what teams did after. . Am I blind to see that?
I am talking about what happened on Sunday. . not what you will go on and do. . Geddit?  grin grin

What you are talking about is bullshi.t.
No team on planet earth wants to go out lose 1-3 . . Is that because it is a good thing. ?

Real Madrid could fire a manager that loses 3-1 and 4-1 (home and away) to Barca even if he goes on to win the La Liga.
Is that because it is not disgraceful?

Some teams can't stand it. and that's why they stand out and that's why they go on after to win trophies.

It's about pride. It's about honour, respect. It's about standing for something. .
But watchu know about dat? In your camp . . a loss is a loss . . . We could lose 1-7 to ManU they won't get extra points for it after all
The same mentality in the Manager, the same mentality in the team and the same mentality in the fans. . .

Yet you want to break the jinx of not winning trophies. . . . Dream on!

Please bring the mind-set to the Bridge on Sunday. . . Abeg.

Ode!  grin

I suspect you are high on your own supply of dro. I repeat a loss to Utd is nothing to be ashamed of. Did you go and crip-walk on a landmine when you where demolished at OT last season where Drogba was lighting matchsticks (lago) and crossing to the linesman at OT

How about your 'The Premiership is Blue' opaks that has won the Emmy, Nobel Prize, Grammy, Oscar and Pullitzer as the most idiotic statement for three years running
You must have been drenched is the waters of stupidity . . .
You are really a shameless buffoon if you think losing to Utd 3-1 is nothing to be ashamed of.

Did you forget to read your own statement again. . .? We lost 3-0 to Utd at "OLD TRAFFORD"
We did not lose 3-0 at the Bridge. . Even when we had a pathetic coaching crew, we drew.
You lost 3-1 at the EMIRATES. . . Do you not get that?

How can that no be shameful? Have you guys been so bereft of a winning attitude that you don't know what is right from wrong.
Title winning contenders don't lose 3-1 at home to their rivals.

It is not shameful! . . . . Even Manchester City fans won't say that. . . and that's for a club that's not won anything in over a decade.

My Chelsea mate thinks we've blown the title by not establishing a decent lead by now. . . he can see Manure riding the crest of confidence with key stalwarts such as Vidic, Ferdinand et al on the verge of a return. . . he also cites the inconsistency of Chelsea's fancy football as being eerily similar to Ancelotti's inconsistent and fancy Milan side who only yielded one title in 7 years. . . we will see, but Im tempted to agree with him. . . .
We've not blown anything mate.
A few weeks ago we were saying the same when our lead was cut to only 1pt.
I still believe that even with Rio and Vida back, Utd will still an unprecedented number of points.

So far, nothing is won yet. No team is walking away with anything this season.
Teams are stronger now and this season, we will witness one of the best relegation fights in the history of the EPL.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only. by nateevs(m): 3:25pm On Feb 03, 2010
This is how disgraceful your beloved has become.
One week ago you guys were ejecting becos you led the table for a minute.
Fellas like V3 and mumuface were telling us how winning the prem is very possible.

Fast forward to 2 O' clock today. . . "There's no shame in losing 3-1 to Utd."
Can you imagine such bullcrap?

Extra points are not awarded for away games so it's convenient to settle for 0pts.
There's always something new on here. Always.

All your greasy talk has been archived in ma log and i would retrieve them like a Flashback Query if y'all don't match your slick talk on Saturday with a win
And on which list do you put the disgraceful 3-1 loss "AT HOME" to title rivals Utd. .

Do we need to play like that? We didn't play like that and beat you 2-1 last season.  tongue

Besides, this just goes to show. . . .thoughts of running away with it are way off the mark. Ancelotti was too casual about this game - talking about knocking Arsenal out of the title race as if this game was already done and dusted.  undecided

Let this be a lesson to him - do NOT write anyone off.
Yes you do need to play like that to stop us. Else you will get it in packets.
You did not play a fit Chelsea last season. Point to another time in the last 5 years where you almost beat us. . .

Stop letting the last season thing get in your head.

I dont know what Ancelotti was thinking.

He played Alex against Burnley's small Darren Fletcher and Fletcher done him.

Now he's playing Carvalho against Hull. . . and we have no one with the physical profile to handle Altidore. . . Altidore is killing Terry out there.

Surely Carvalho should have played against Burnley and Alex against Hull.
Alex is too slow  for the tempo of this game.
The mistake he made last week could have cost 2 pts.

Been impressed with him the past few games. Seems to be
making better decisions in general play.

He just needs to get rid of the periodic brain farts he gets

Despite Drogba's goal, if I were a Chelsea fan, I would rather
Anelka spearhead the attack. I just think the team flows a lot
better in the final third. I know all that talk about natural striker

you are very right. . . I always wish we can play with Anelka only as we move the ball better . .
