I do understand the Lamps factor. .  my greatest reason for letting him leave is because I want to us play two attackers in-front exactly the way ManU. . . remember when we had Tore Andre flo and Zola up front. . . We didn't win a lot of trophies but we did score many goals . . in their entore seasons for Chelsea they had 106 goals between them . .

So if we play 2 attackers upfront we can only do with one midfielder but he has to be the creative one since we already have the wingers on the flanks. . . Lamps can do that. . matter of fact he can't play in a 4-4-2. . he'l be missing for most parts of the game. . .

Like berbatov but he sulks when he loses the ball and I am sure Grant can't control him. . Joaquin is nice . . prefer Quaresma. . both will be a good deal. . Arfa nice. . .

Two strikers . . . Huntelaar, Aguero. . . Anelka brings in the experience and Ivanovic comes into the team  . . . that should be all and we'l be ready to take on the world

Funny enough I was tooth and nail for Quaresma last season and 2 years ago. . . I actually thought we should have gone for him then. .
When I said I was not decided about him . . It's nothing about his lack of ability. .He has great sense of awareness . . ability to use both feet . . dribbling skills and speed are the key things about him. . .
Plus he has massive eyes for goals. . . . We were more and more linked with him but when he wasn't here . . it kept looking to me more than likely he will never be here. . That's what I meant by not being decided about him. .


Grant reportedly contacted Marek Hamsik in the Jan transfer and he said he will like to play for Chelsea. . . he is young quick . . and vision is good. .

Looking for a striker next season look no further than Aguero I insist and Jan Klass Huntelaar. . .
Huntelaar is class if we want a striker . . . not got all the pace. .but he has all the eyes for goals. . Aguero cannot be as expensive as Benzema. . .The mirror reported days ago we are hunting Benzema. . now that's expensive

For me, no 19 year-old is too expensive . . . as long as he is not overrated. . .If he plays for 5 consecutive seasons at top flight he will still be 24. . and even more expensive should want to leave(If he does not leave on a free). . ManU will definitely snap up one of Berbatov, Huntelaar, Benzema or Aguero next season. . .

Well I don't believe the midfield is ok . . I think we need more creativity in Midfield . . . I am generally not fan of Lamps . .plus he'l be 30 next season. . ballack will be 32 by next season and Essien is not the creative midfield. . I see a case where Lamps Ballack and Maka are replaced . . . Sidwell will normally go . . and so will SWP and Malouda. . Sheva and Pizzarro are not excluded. . and Drogba wants out. .

So you see. . I love to see 2 Luca Modrics . . second one being Augusto or Van der vaart. .
The problem is ManU are close to securing Augusto and Van der Vaart make Robben and Van Persie look like Rambo. . .

Quaresma !!!!! I am still not decided about him. .

Aguero . . I don't think he'l be more expensive than the what he'l provide in the next few years. . he's just 19 . . if he ever comes thru and grows at the pace he is right now . . his buy out clause might be about 70. . 80million in about 3 years even if we buy him for the £20million that Athletico are asking for. . Money well spent if you ask me. . . Also it will open the door for players of his style and Calibre running to Chelsea. . currently we don't have players like him . . .

Dos Santos. . . strength exactly is what he lacks . . . again he seems to have lost that spark he had at the u-17s. . I haven't seen that spark in him since then . . I think he might still become it anyways. . .


Ivanovic will definitely join the senior team next season . . all-round defender . . joins the attack well . .scores goals . . and has an incredibly long throw. . perhaps more than okocha!!!


I make a strange interest in David Bentley. . . We are reportedly bidding £10million . . I don't know why i think he will be a hit at Chelsea. . he's not that quick, pacy winger but his qualities make SWP look like a golf player . . I like him. His crosses are inch perfect. . .and he scores free kicks. .

I will like to see the arrival Renato Augusto, Sergio Aguero, Dos Santos. . wish the bids we had in for all these players plus Luca come through. .

It will be a different Chelsea. . . .

(2.) This is why I am grateful for Roman Abramovich - and if Jose Mourinho clashes with him, then I know which side I am on. Instead of directing your gratitude at Jose, you should direct it at Roman because if not for Roman, there would be no Jose and we would be in League one. I don't believe that Jose did anything spectacular that another top coach could not do with the resources. There are many Jose's - there is only one Abramovich.

I know it's definitely his club. . . and he makes his decisions. . but don't make it seem like he is bent on doing crap for the next five years. . . It was awful. Grant has changed a team of winners into 11 strangers. It shows our desperation that when we needed a goal we had to bring on Pizarro. Did their keeper have a save to make? We desperately missed Lampard and Drogba, but against Barnsley we should be able to cope. Essien and Wright-Phillips were particularly poor. You have to be worried now - the players have a huge lack of confidence. The West Ham result was papering over the cracks - they were woeful, whereas Barnsley, like Spurs, were up for it and beat us. Abramovich is going to have to face up to the fact that he has made a big mistake with Grant and get in someone new to salvage our season.
