Essien's looked anonymous. . want to see more drive through the middle. .
Maybe we can bring in some pace into it by bringing in SWP and Kalou
overall . . scoring at least one goal is very important. . .

Reports have it that John Terry and Lampard are given a rest in today's match.

We expect to see a very attacking formation. . that is an Anelka-drogba attack. I expect Mikel or Essien to play the holding role. Ballack to play in the middle with Joe and SWP on the flanks. . . which will turn out to be a 4-4-2. I'm still finding it hard to see how Anelka and Drogba will blend into a 4-3-3.

Today marks a different phase since the management team of AG began. This is the first time they have this number of players. It will make choices difficult but will definitely for the first time this season create a very very formidable bench.

Whichever way you mix and match them, I think you will come out with a very good team. . .  and then you can make two changes and the team is suddenly transformed. (strength of the bench).

I think for the very first time this season ,  we all will witness a different CHELSEA. My instincts tell it will be very great. I hope to see a very good match tonight. I hope we use this 90mins to give ourselves a lift to the return game at the bridge. . . I hope to see a very strong team . . I want to see good football.

I have not used one personally. They got introduced after I left the country. . . my story is different though . . . I asked someone to withdraw money from my account on my behalf. The person tried to withdraw 60k . . . first 40 came through. . na so 20k hang. . the machine reported 60k withdrawn and immediately my GTB account was debited 60k.

I use GTB . . . after some query reports here and there. . I was told the money will be paid back. . after about a month or so. . lo and behold it was paid back. . the 20k was paid back. . I did not beleive such things will happen in Naija.

I'ts over. . . . . dropped four points in two consecutive weeks. . . when could clearly have been second in the league. what a waste! I knew it was going to be tough anyway with Liverpool. . but the 3 pts were crucial anyway if we had any hopes for the league title. It's obviously not over but will become even more difficult if Arsenal wins tomorrow. . If they lose 5pts is not insurmountable. . . if they draw 6pts is fair. . . but if they win, it'll become even more difficult. . . the race is still on.

The nations cup is finally over for our players. . Drogba, Essien and Kalou will be back and the team can only be better.

We are not playing anymore home games until march. . so we can celebrate 4 years unbeaten at home. It's an awesome record and it's going to take something phenomenal to beat that. .
