The next five mins could only be best seen than explained . . . sublime touches all the way Lamp. . . Anelka. . .Joe . . . Ballack. . I could hardly manage a blink . . . 2 goals were in. .

I no fit celebrate . . . I was choking from joy. . 2nd Half . . . they came at us for a moment I thot they were going to score. . . so much noise. . and then came the moment Carlton Cole measured Cech height . . . and then I said this is a goal . . . then from no where a mastered minded acrobatic move from the ever reliable skipper. . . I no get choice I had to clap . . . before I knew it all the westham fans sef dey clap. . that was a superb save. . .

Ahsley Cole then scores. . . Ashley Cole scores? He celebrated like he won his first footballing contract. . What a moment for him. . .

10 men and wecould have had some more goals. . . The margin had to be relished . . I know we might not repeat that till the end of the season. . It was woderful . . . I enjoyed every moment . . especially on the back of an unimpressive outing in the carling cup finals.

This time around I must commend Grant for getting it right. . . he got it wrong and I criticised so when he gets it right, I should commend him. . . . at least until we know who really got it right (Steve, 10Cate or Terry).

It was a must-win game. . and we won it. . . maintain stands behind the top 2 with a match in hand. .hope we stil push 4wards. . hope we give it a good fight to the end. .

1. that Chelsea is not chasing . . . with 4pts behind. I will not say that if I was ahead of you with the same number of pts. . .

This reminds me of the about a year ago when Jose was under the spotlight and he read constantly in the papers about speculations over his job. . . .Grant was part of that party. .

I think this is the strongest squad we have. . this is the only team that can stand one of the Big three. . .and can win a CL match . . and also will win a cup final should we be fortunate to have one. . . In this case Joe and Kalou are not particulalry wingers but they can follow up a retun pass from the strikers to the wings and the have the ability to move into position. . perhaps not cross . .but create some kind brilliant pass into the attack . . .Drog and Anelka will be at home. . .

Ballack following up rebounds and picking up balls can tackle . . plays in the middle unlike Lamps. .and he is a good passer of the ball. . . he will find Kalou and Joe one the wides effective and make use of their pace. . so it looks close to a 4-4-2 on the attack but effectively drops back to a 4-1-3-2 when we lose the ball and when we want to retain the ball in midfield. .

Ok before you slate me . . I know you don't like Kalou. . but I beleive anything is better than malouda. . he makes me yawn . . .who else can play on the left?. . absolutely no one. .

Now anyone else . . . . .and I mean it anyone else (except Alex) that comes from the bench only comes in to weaken the team and that includes.

Lamps can only play in a 4-3-3 with the other two midfielders covering up for his midfield inadequacies. . .Essien has lost it. . . Cole. I don't know. . . sheva 4get it. . . . . Pizzi, SWp don't even talk about those. . . Malouda. . makes yakubu aiyegbeni look like Ronaldo. . .

My verdict is that 4-1-3-2 and if Mr Grant is wise he should play this way tomorrow. .

Here we go again. . vouyers here talking about hopes and more likely. Well win tomorrow against Aston Villa. . . then come back to talk about hopes and more likelys. .

Guess what. . . I do like the 4-4-2 . . but in this case . .we do not have the personnel to play it. . . Two very important things are very crucial to a 4-4-2.

1. You need a smart, pacy, very attacking and creative midfielder. . .a playmaker that can hold the ball . .  has good goal sense . .can dribble at least one player at a go. . good vision. . . and most importantly, is a genius with passes.  

2. You need players that can work the flanks. . pacy . . . can join the central midfield when they have to. . . has abilities to hold the ball so as to bring full backs into overlapping play. . . contribute at least 20 goals to the club's season's total and most importantly can cross the ball. .

Without these two points a 4-4-2 can't work. . . We could have a few moments . . but over time it will fail. .

I look at our team and in case one . . the players that look close to such a role are Ballack. . Lamps. . Mikel. . Essien. . The funny news is none of them fits that player. . as a mata of fact I am gong to strike out 3 of them first. . Lamps, Obi, and Essien are out of it. . .  Ballack is close but he is not creative enough and has lost all the pace. . plus he can't even dribble again and he is 31.


Second case . . . SWP, Cole, Kalou, Malouda. .are they all wingers?. .  none of them is. . .

So it looks like the 4-4-2 might only favour Drogba and Anelka because they are natural strikers. . they hold the ball and they know how to bring their team mates into play. . and they do the most important thing that strikers do. . . they score and they score well. .

But how do you put to use perhaps potentially the best strike force in the premiership to good use when there are no players to give them the ball?. . . .Anelka was very prolific but since he arrived at chelsea he has only scored ONE goal and it was a defender that gave him the pass not a midfielder. . . So we definitely have a problem with the midfield . . . . .

Nerves got the better of Grant in a cup final? I can't believe such excuse is made for that man.

Avram Grant has lost more to the big four in one season than Muorinho did in 3 seasons. . .
Some argue that Muorinho came into chelsea on the back of a successful european campaign and that boosted his confidence to succeed . . . no way. . Winners are born not made. .

It is nothing if we lose a match to Tottenham. . but it was absolutely disgraceful to lose that match IN THE WAY WE DID with the number of fit players available . . .

West ham away on the weekend and he gets me thinking what is going to happen. . . i don't expect to lose to Westham home or away. . . but it looks like Grant needs a depleted squad to perform. . . he does not know how to deal with a big team. . and that to me is pathetic.

John Terry calls the team together and starts to brief them. . Grant stands behind the team with his fingers in his hair vehemently scratching it. . .
Steve Clark was doing some talking as well. . . grant was absolutely out of place. . . . he looked for a moment or two like a member of the medical team. .

Then I totally lost respect . . . . all forms of respect for him. . .
I don't need to tell the whole lot of whatever happened it's all over the news. . .


SO WHAT HAPPENS OVER THE COURSE OF THE SEASON. . .

Well. . .  expect more fights. . more disagreements over tactics. . more uhappy players. . . no trophies . . . and a mass exodus of players. . at the very end.

Having said that, I will be behind the team and expect that we can still be "lucky" . . . and I say it again "lucky" to win something.
I still expect my team to do well in everyother game. . . .
Win matches we should win. . .
Continue the unbeaten record at home. . .
Get much further in the champions league. . .
Chase the league leaders to the end. . . .
And give good account of ourselves. . .



I just wonder how we can do all that with an unhappy dressing room. It's very sad.  It's still our team anyway. . I stand by that . .

There were already cracks when we let JM go . . . .the natural cause is to have a burst-up among team members. . . with players taking sides and factionalizing the team. . but that did not happen when JM left. . . it looked more like the transited from the Mourinho era "PEACEFULLY" into the Grant's.

That was by no means natural. . .I knew all this was going to happen
It was just a matter of time. . .

However it could have been minimized if the new guy (AG) commanded respect from a tactical approach. .
Unfortunately he is disillusioned. . .
There are sometimes you are offered a job. . and your response is NO.
Because it's only a mata of time before your inadequacies are exposed. . . but he took the job. .
I praised his efforts. . when we won against the small teams. . . I did say I could not judge him because I have not seen his tactical judgements in big matches. . . .

Well the wind has blown and we don see fowl yansh

It's over . . Spurs beat us!!

I still can't come to believing it. . . very very pathetic.


So why did we lose?
Simple . . . we lost becos of wrong tactics. . . . I have been one of those that criticised Avram Grant and then later on said let's support him. . . but tonite I saw what a major problem we have. . .

We have for ourselves a coach that only get's it right from the beginning. . .
If the match situation is to be changed on the spot. . . he's probably not good at that.
Even me a fan can see that we needed a change at very few ninutes into the game. .

Chacal knew and said the 4-3-3 was not working. . .
It was obvious. . . Guess what it took AG 88mins to recognise that. . .
It looked to me for a moment that he wanted the extra time. . . .

This is one Trophy that should have been ours. . . we are not sure of any other final . . and we blew the one we had. . .If this is the type of decisions that will be made in the Champions League then we might as well write it off. . because it is not enough to make it to the final. . winning it is what matters.

We started becoming urgent in the final minutes. . . The attitude to the game was appaling. . Tottenham wanted it badly. . It was obvious . .



I am not one of those that like to talk about Jose. . but I know that Jose will neva had lost that match. . Spurs played well but they were not invincible. . . Jose is known to bring in 3 players at a time if he had to. . he will make a change in the 2nd half if he had to. . .


So we have to live with that. . until the season is over. . mabe until we have a tatician. .

It's so sad to see this happen . . especially when you know you could have changed it. .

It seems to me like a very different line up. . . As a matter of fact Chelsea has neva played this way in it's history. . . I am very confident in the team. . . I want to use this moment to sympathise with Arsenal and the world of football in general over that career threatening injury. Tackles like that should never be permitted in football.

Taylor should be banned from football for life. that is the worst tackle I have seen in football. I hope he recovers from that. He can't be expected back to football for at least 6 to 8 months from what I saw in the pictures.
