Good day everyone, I recently got my students visa and I’m looking to travel to Toronto on the 31st of December. I’m having issues with getting a reasonable accommodation please any help would be very much appreciated

So been about 6 days since I left the quarantine facility, after staying for 14 days. I'm learning the ropes small small, in Toronto for the now but by January will go to Saskatchewan for school.

Luckily I have people here that are helping me settle in well, started driving about 3 days ago with company, but today went out by myself to run errands and also get my SIN.

Will use public transit tomorrow though, because motor no dey where I dey go school so the earlier I learn the system the better, make man no go loss for -20degrees.

Weather has been lovely, though I find inside the apartment kinda hot due to the heating, I dey open window sef for night make natural AC dey enter room.

So far it's been a wonderful experience, want to see if I can land small holiday gig tomorrow, found a listing on kijiji most of the employment agencies are closed till new year. Hoping to work out small pocket money before I go to school.

I received my letter for medical on the 23rd of Septemberand I was given a 30days deadline to do it… I was scheduled by IOM to do it on the 21st of October. My question is isn’t the date too close to the deadline for doing and submitting my medical details

You can check processing times on IRCC to know, but sometimes you can get a decision earlier or later than what is shown there, since this is a reapplication, did you get GCMS notes to know the VOs reasons for rejecting the first application?

I didn’t request for my GCMS notes I just reapplied it seemed straightforward and I’m using an agent so I decided to address the home ties issue and reapplied immediately

I got rejected in for my student visa in august and I immediately reapplied since then have been waiting for a response and truly this waiting is soo scary and frustrating, my reason for my first refusal was home ties and have addressed that before I reapplied.
