You never know until you try. Your gpa is low, so that limits your options. You also need to convince a VO why you’re changing your major to get another bachelors degree. Are you changing because of a low gpa and this low employment prospects in your home country?

I'm trying to verify for the very last time b4 I reg for my SAT from y'all...please your candid advise again.
I'm a graduate of Bch with a low cgpa 2.07, I intend studying nursing. Checked out schools in the states and requirements and noticed the least schs opted for a 2.5 gpa.
1) I intend taking the SAT and applying to d schs of my choice for B.sc in Nursing.
2)I'd certainly declare my first degree when filling my D'S 160 form .
3)spoke with a friend offshore and he said since the second degree I'm going for is different from my first I can continue with my application but i should look for a correlation between the two courses.
Having said all this I really hope I'm still on a good track and this won't be an issue?.im asking coz of the vast knowledge and advices on here .....Thanks

3)Would have suggested that but you will be asked what you have been doing since you got through with High School.

My school requested for that too, thought I could do it at any waec office but was directed to the headquarter at Yaba Lagos. It is sent via courir service,you will be asked which you want to use. I used UPS.

I think those that use WES can help you. What I know is WAEC sending the results to WES.

Yes, there are many Nigerians that use English as their first language. However, compare that number to those who can't use it and those that can with limited proficiency even after attending schools up to high schools and universities. While it's also true that there are many Nigerians that have a better command of the language than the native speakers, Nigerians remain non natives. South Africans are classified as natives even though they have other language that they speak. World politics and arbitrary can't be discarded. Europeans with exceptions from the British (UK and it environs in general) are also non natives, even some of them use the language.

World Englishes
To better understand the use of English in different countries, Kachru conceived the idea of three concentric circles of the language.

The inner circle represents the traditional bases of English: the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, anglophone Canada, and some of the Caribbean territories. The total number of English speakers in the inner circle is as high as 380 million, of whom some 120 million are outside the United States.

Next comes the outer circle, which includes countries where English is not the native tongue, but is important for historical reasons and plays a part in the nation's institutions, either as an official language or otherwise. This circle includes India, Nigeria, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia, Tanzania, Kenya. The total number of English speakers in the outer circle is estimated to range from 150 million to 300 million.

Finally, the expanding circle [/b]encompasses those countries where English plays no historical or governmental role, but where it is nevertheless widely used as a foreign language or lingua franca. This includes much of the rest of the world's population: China, Russia, Japan, most of Europe, Korea, Egypt, Indonesia, etc. The total in this expanding circle is the most difficult to estimate, especially because English may be employed for specific, limited purposes, usually business English. The estimates of these users range from 100 million to one billion.

The inner circle (UK, US, etc.) is[b] 'norm-providing'. That means that English language norms are developed in these countries – English is the first language there. The outer circle (mainly New Commonwealth countries) is 'norm-developing'. The expanding circle (much of the rest of the world) is 'norm-dependent', because it relies on the standards set by native speakers in the inner circle.
