If medical necessary then there are no issues. But are you referring to a chest x-ray or a heart exam (ekg/ultrasound/etc) because those do not pose a threat to a fetus. If it is a chest x-ray they provide a lead apron to shield the baby. It is not advised to have an xray without the lead apron
