A Nigerian lady has called out Airtel (a telecommunication giant) over an advert, which makes a Yoruba woman look moronic. The Nigerian lady who called out Airtel, claimed that their advert in which the Yoruba woman doesn’t know "how to use blender, water dispenser, Auto galé and even a traveling box" makes them look moronic.

Francis Odega who has been enmeshed in marital crisis which came to public space after it was alleged that he assaulted and sent his wife packing alongside his daughter, has released his Francis Odega released his daughter's school name for those doubting he paid her fees. Recall that one of Odega’s in-laws few days ago revealed he almost raped her sometime, beats his wife and doesn’t bring anything home. Her post read in parts;

Most times he locks her outside overnight and most times he will embarrass her in public by calling her name, stripping her naked, accusing her of so many things. So this year, he sent her packing with her daughter, the only child they both have, but he has refused to pay her school fees. As for my sister, she wants nothing to do with him again because the embarrassment is too much.He sleeps with the girls working for her. Even in the house they lived, he slept with a married woman and the husband saw them and sent the wife away. I can go on and on.I want Nigerians to help us tell this man to pay her daughters school fees that’s all.

Alibaba has reacted to report of Nigerian Coaches asking David Alaba for bribe to play for Golden Eaglets in 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Recall that the Bayern Munich star who called the Nigeria U-17 coaches “jokers” and vowed not to have anything to do with any of them in future, claimed to have trained with Palanga midfielder, Haruna Lukman Abdulkarim, UB Conquense forward, Macauley Chrisantus and Slovan Bratislava’s midfielder, Rabiu Ibrahim ahead of the 2007 World Cup. The 26-year-old was eligible to represent Nigeria but he switched to Austria, his country of birth after that encounter.

Alibaba who however reacted to the report of Nigerian Coaches asking David Alaba for bribe before participating in 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup, said when one refuses to pay bribe in Nigeria he is blacklisted. A Nigerian Coach identified as Samson Unuanel, has resigned after losing a match in the Nigerian Premier League this weekend. The Head Coach of Osun United Football Club of Osogbo announced his resignation on Saturday, after his team lost 2-4 to Giant Brillars FC in a week 5 match of the Nigeria National League (NNL) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.

Confirming that the Nigerian Coach resigned after losing a league match, Osun United Football Club's spokesperson, Tajudeen Ahmad, said it was done through verbal communication.  According to him, Osun United dominated the game and were leading 2-0 in the first half without pressure from the hosts, before conceding 4 goals in the second.  The team's media officer who told NAN that the Coach was surprised and left disappointed after they conceded four goals in the second half, added that he claimed there was a gang-up.

Eazzy, a Ghanaian singer has stated female artistes to dress half naked like their international colleagues Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez when they mount stages.According to the Ghanaian singer, such dresses which are termed as ‘indecent’ by the society rather make them comfortable when they mount stages to perform to the admiration of their fans. Eazzy who stated that female artistes must dress half naked like Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez, questioned why society especially journalists criticize their half naked dresses but turn round to enjoy their music as she further called them hypocrites.

“Mzbel was also very enlightened and ahead of our time. I watched her outfits when I was growing up and it was nice because I watched Beyonce and the likes of Jennifer Lopez do it, but people penalise us so much,” she bemoaned.

"We like to hide behind the whole African culture yet still we like certain things. I feel artistes in Ghana should be allowed to explore and do what they are comfortable with.
