KimOprah

Bubbly television presenter Kim-Oprah, believes that nothing is impossible to achieve. The African beauty achieved the impossible when she represented Nigeria at the Miss Intercontinental World Beauty Pageant. More actresses have joined Wumi Toriola to call out movie director Laide Olabanji for rape. Recall we reported earlier that Actress Wumi Toriola has called out movie director, Laide Olabanji who she accused of rape after he trolled Pastor Fatoyinbo.

Laide Olabanji had shared a video, in which Pastor Fatoyinbo stated that out of the mouth of two to three witnesses the truth is established. However Laide Olabanji got called out by Wumi Toriola who accused him rape, shortly after he trolled on Pastor Fatoyinbo. The actress who admitted that she was not underaged at that time, revealed that the movie director tried to rape her all in the name of giving her a movie role. She wrote;

Pastor Tony Rapu has reacted to the rape allegation against Pastor Fatoyinbo, a former member of the COZA which he is a founder. 

Recall we reported yesterday that Busola in an interview granted to Ynaija, revealed thatshe was raped by the popular pastor while she was a teenager. However Fatoyinbo released a statement on his official Instagram page to debunk the allegations levelled against him, saying several statements had been made to extort the church through blackmail, harassment and intimidation.

However Pastor Tony Rapu who reacted to the rape allegation against Pastor Fatoyinbo, stated that many leaders lack the confidence to address sexual abuse because they do not feel adequately equipped to handle the complexities involved. He added that we all need to understand how this issue of sexual abuse can be addressed, in the light of the Gospel.

The Buhari government has moved to ban the Almajiri system in the north, over the insecurity wrecking activities in the region. The decision to ban the Alamjiri system was taken by the Buhari government, after a National Economic Council (NEC) meeting presided by the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the State House, Abuja. The National Security Adviser (NSA), Babagana Monguno, who briefed newsmen alongside the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, Adamawa Governor, Ahmadu Fintri, Anambra, Willie Obiano and Ondo Rotimi Akeredolu, said the federal government is considering proscribing the Almajiri system to address the rising insecurity in the country

He said: “It is very important to proscribe certain groups ultimately running around under the guise of maybe getting some kind of education that is not really formal and then begin to cause a lot of problems for society.

“Ultimately, government will have to proscribe this Almajiri phenomenon because we cannot continue to have street urchins, children roaming around, only for them in a couple of years, or decades to become a problem to society. We are not saying that they are going to be contained in a manner that you might think we want to do something that is harmful to them, no. What we want to do is to work with the state governments to enforce the policy of education for every child. It is every child’s right, his entitlement so long as he is a Nigerian.”

Jaywon and Zlatan Ibile have settled their beef, as they were spotted dancing together days after the heated argument on 'song theft'. Recall we reported that Jaywon took to Instagram to call out Zanku crooner, Zlatan, for allegedly copying his song, “Odun yi (This Year)”. He further revealed that apart from the title, Zlatan copied his video concept and the song lines.

Reacting to this, Zlatan stated that Jaywon can't be talking to him because if he is quite serious he will be bring all down to his private page. However it seems Jaywon and Zlatan Ibile has settled their beef, as they were spotted dancing the 'Zanku' crooner's new move.

A Nigerian man identified as Arthur Eze, was reportedly assassinated on his first visit to Nigeria after being in Malaysia for 9 years. 

Facebook user Emeka Augustine who shared the story, disclosed that the Nigerian man was assassinated in his house. He wrote; 

"Going back to Nigeria for the first time after 9 years and you guys killed him in his house.He suffered and slept outside for year and finally made it and go home only to met his death. My man my man. What a world. Arthur Eze rest in peace. Those assassins that murdered you last night will surely give account to God. Nigeria is not safe any more. We are expecting you to come back to Malaysia and this is what we got this morning. May your soul R.I.P"

Another final year student of University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN has reportedly committed suicide by taking sniper, few weeks after Chukwuemeka Akachi, a 400-level student of Department of English and Literary Studies in UNN ended his own life after taking a bottle of sniper.

Kate Elias, mother of the final year student of UNN who committed suicide told NAN that the incident happened on Monday June 17, around 5.30pm in her house at Justina Eze Street, Nsukka. Kate who works with the university, said she came home on the day of the incident and day and found her son in a bad mood as he was staggering when he came to collect a bottle of coke from the fridge.

“I followed him immediately to his room and started talking to him but he could not respond and when I looked closely, I discovered that his teeth had tightened up,” she said. “As I looked around, I saw an empty sniper bottle; at this point I raised alarm and my other children rushed to the room and we tried to give him red oil but his tightened teeth did not allow the oil to enter his mouth.

“We immediately rushed him to Faith Foundation Hospital, Nsukka and were later referred to Bishop Shanahan Hospital, Nsukka, where he eventually died.”

Naetochukwu Chikwe popularly known as Naeto C, has been appointed as Special Assistant to Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State.

Before being appointed as Special Assistant to Governor Emeka Ihedioha on Lagos Liaison, Naeto C served as a Committee member for the Kwara State PDP primaries, sent by the PDP headquarters in Abuja.

The exercise took place at Kwara Hotel, Ilorin, the state capital, with Naeto, who is the son of Nigeria’s former Aviation minister Kema Chikwe and his committee members headed by Charles Menabbo were on ground to make sure everything was in order.

Veteran actress, Grace Ama who got active on Facebook recently slammed Tonto Dikeh who according to her is not a role model but popular for immorality. 

The veteran actress made the disclosure in a post by a Facebook user, who said he won't be taking Amstel Malta anymore because the brand made the actress its ambassador.  Grace Ama who stated that Tonto Dikeh is not a role model but popular for immorality as she reacted to the post, added that people are always quick to embrace things that are fake and unworthy of appraisal. A Nigerian Pastor who allegedly raped a lady he was supposed to pray for and also threatened to kill her with a gun if she revealed what transpired between them, has been paraded after he got arrested alongside suspects. The pastor in charge of the Gate of Testimony Church, Hosanna Okoi, who claimed his church was located in Sierra Leone, was arrested after a lady reported to the police that she was raped and also threatened with a gun not to report the incident. The Pastor who however denied claims that he raped the lady he was supposed to pray for, denied knowing who she was but admitted taking her to a wedding and later to a pub.

He stated, “I am a Nigerian, but I am the pastor of the Gate of Testimony Church based in Sierra Leone. I came to Nigeria and I met the lady, who said she was going to a wedding.

“I did not know her from Adam, but I offered to take her there and gave her N500 to drink water. Later, we met at a pub and we drank and that was all that happened. I did not take her to anywhere and I don’t know why she decided to frame me up.”

The United Nations, UN, who commented about Nigeria's political space, disclosed that too many political parties in Nigeria is a distraction. The Special Representatives of the Secretary General and Head of the United Nations Office for West Africa, Mohammed Ibn Chamba who spoke during a courtesy call on the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, in Abuja, described it as a serious challenge which “distracts from the quality of the process.”

The UN representative who stated that too many political parties in Nigeria is a distraction, also promised to partake in the review of the 2019 general elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission. He said;

“So, we came here seeking to be part of that conversation going forward and we will particularly be interested in a number of issues, such as the number of political parties, mode of registration, internal democracy and accreditation of party agents which the chairman of INEC himself has already identified. The number of political parties in certain elections in our West Africa and Sahel sub-region has posed a challenge recently and it is not only here in Nigeria that we need to look at the issue of number of political parties and their mode of registration. Recently in Senegal, this same challenge was faced; they have found their manner of dealing with it. Next door in the Republic of Benin, when they were confronted with as many as 249 registered political parties, they have also tried to find their way to handle this issue."

A yet-to-be identified Nigerian man was spotted in a viral video confronting a family member, after he came back home after 13 years to find out that his house wasn't built.

The Nigerian man who seems to be from the Yoruba tribe, was heard saying that he was a gangster and a drug-pusher which were things he did to raise the money he sent home for the house to be built.

Toolz has reacted to the report of a 4-weeks-old baby, who contracted herpes after being kissed at a christening in the UK. Recall we reported earlier that the baby who contracted herpes in his eye after being kissed, had attended a christening in September 2018 with his 21-year-old mother, Ashleigh White. He was reportedly passed around to multiple relatives and friends, who were all kissing and hugging him.

Toolz who reacted to the report of the baby who contracted herpes after being kissed, stated that when she talked about it before the recent report people felt she was weird. She wrote; "And some people think I'm being weird when I stress over this. Their immune systems aren't fully developed."
