Most Nigerians would rather pray it away or attribute those symptoms to something else since majority still term it a scamdemic. When the family kept treating malaria and typhoid for close to a month, I jus suspected it was a covid case and even told dem so....

Covid is real and on the rise but as Nigerians that we are we would rather believe it's jus malaria and typhoid and the govt is comfortable with it becos no need for a lockdown. We lost a family friend who was treating malaria and typhoid for a couple of months now not knowing the infection had affected her liver...
