IfnobeGod20:Please, don't bring in USA when talk is about Nigeria. Nigeria's democracy is a farce since northern military dictators wrongly used land mass or population figures to create 19 states and Abuja in the old Northern region but created only 17 states in the old two southern regions. They made election law which states that a presidential candidate must win 25% of votes in 2/3 of 36 states (24 states) before the candidate can be proclaimed winner of Nigeria's presidential election. Even a blind person can see that the way the states were proliferated in the north gives absolute political powers to Fulani-led northern politicians. So you see why Nigeria's democracy is a farce and what gives a President Buhari the huge political power to contemplate choosing his successor; why an Atiku would abandon PDP at will, and return at will to pick up presidential ticket of the party. Restructure Nigeria politically or end the fraudulent country. |
Nigerians, save yourselves from APC and PDP.

If Atiku was against northern leaders adopting Islamic sharia criminal justice system, he would have used his office of VP to persuade those northern political and religious leaders and stop them from urinating on Nigeria's Constitution through adoption of Islamic Sharia criminal justice system. He stood aloof instead. Sharia later grew into an octopus as Boko haram emerged and fights for a Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal justice system. Today, foreign fighters have joined Boko Haram. |
Because there is no more real central government in Nigeria. |
But for contemporary Nigeria, Tinubu shall be a million times better than Atiku as successor to President Buhari. Atiku as successor to President Buhari is like pouring fuel on a raging fire. |
IfnobeGod20:Mr Man. Repeat after me: it's only in a Banana Republic democracy where an outgoing president or prime minister is able to choose his successor. Nigeria's democracy is Banana Republic democracy because of the skewed and lopsided political structure of Nigeria crafted by northern military dictators to favour Arewa. |
shortIGBOman:....and Igbo will never leave Nigeria for their Biafra. Because we are God. We hold Igbo hostage in Nigeria. |
Tanko boasted, [after all, we have the numbers in the National Assembly to include Islamic sharia criminal justice system in the 1999 Constitution]. Islamic sharia criminal justice system includes death for blasphemers, adulterous women and cutting out the hands of thieves, etc. Tanko's children will continue with Tanko's desire for Islamic sharia criminal justice system to be included in Nigeria's Constitution. One of the earliest demands of Alhaji Tanko Mohammed immediately after he was appointed Chief Justice of Nigeria, was that Islamic sharia criminal justice system be included in the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria, after all, they had the numbers in the NASS to do that. The mainly Muslim northern military dictators who supervised the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria carefully excluded Islamic sharia criminal justice system from the constitution, knowing full well, the catastrophe its inclusion could cause in multi religious society like Nigeria. But in 1999, 12 Northern Nigeria states urinated on Nigeria's Constitution through adoption of Islamic Sharia criminal justice system by their political and religious leaders. Boko haram quickly emerged, and says that it's fighting for a Nigeria to be governed with Islamic Sharia criminal justice system. |
IfnobeGod20:Bolded: Pick his successor. It's only a Banana Republic democracy that an outgoing president chooses his successor. Buhari is taxing the patience of Nigerians too much with his desire to choose a successor who will continue with his program of Islamization and Fulanization of Nigeria. |
"...because of the dividends of democracy delivered to Nigerians irrespective of their political leanings." .... President Buhari. This Buhari man can lie more than Lai man. He squandared 7 years opportunity to deliver dividends of democracy to Nigerians, and even made and stuck to his 5% and 97% speech to maltreat the 5% that refused to vote for him. |
HardMirror:Tufiakwa. |
Dictator, president Muhammadu Buhari. Nigeria's roguish political structure crafted by northern soldiers between 1967-1996 made Buhari a dictator. It's not that Buhari or his northern colleagues are the most politically savvy in Nigeria. No country formed by diverse regions ever used land mass or population as criterion to proliferate too many new political units (states, regions, LGAs) in a region that has larger land mass or population than other regions, except Nigeria. Restructure Nigeria politically now, or dissolve the fraudulent country now, into more manageable countries. |
powerfulguy:Consensus presidential candidate in APC = President Muhammadu Buhari's presidential candidate. Dictatorship. Tinubu will not accept that anyway. |
Joezinho:Unknown gunmen hold sway in the east, but Nigeria's law enforcement agents can't stop them; how then do you pride yourself as having a country? |
Only a mad Igbo person would attack schools in Igboland. And they say the Unknown gunmen are Igbos. SMH. Unknown gunmen have now gone to attack schools in Igboland. |
By asking about zoning or winning, Tambuwal was already offending the senses of the southerners who know that the skewed and lopsided political structure of Nigeria created by northern soldiers is what makes Arewa politicians champions of winning presidential elections in Nigeria. Bunkum. |
Good that Sen Rochas Okorocha is granted bail. Presidential primaries of APC is literally over. Rochas, return home to Ideato area and Orlu side you left in tatters in 2019. Can you stay in your new hometown, Owerri, forever? |
EBMedia:Old man dancing childishly wants to carry Nigeria enter grave. |
Op, you put up an alibi first for EFCC wrongdoing. Efcc had no business forcing itself on Okorocha's house to arrest him. Okorocha has been on the floor of the Senate before then. All political. |
hisexcellency34:Over what? PDP shall remain the opposition party after 2023. |
Atiku is APC itself. Another Fulani Muslim like Atiku who fights for power only for the north, after Buhari, is worse. |
CeoMYN:Aboki, after all Tambuwal and Atiku combi against Wike, after all the Aboki combination led by Atiku in 2015 to oust Jonathan from power, it's only a miscreant from the SS who can vote Atiku in 2023. Atiku for president era is gone. |
Maxymilliano:But any Igbo who votes Atiku to become president of Nigeria in 2023 must be a miscreant. No Fulani can hand over power to an Igbo man or woman. Fear of Biafra and possible loss of crude oil and gas proceeds if Biafra goes is a constant fear of the Fulani. |
Ohislee:Well said. Imagine a Fulani Muslim succeeding a Fulani Muslim in contemporary Nigeria. Madness. |
Atiku Abubakar, you can pick an angel as your VP, you must not become president of Nigeria. |
Esseite:But to further encourage Boko Haram, ISWAP, and the bandits to work in concert to take over the whole of Nigeria for an Islamic Republic to be governed with Sharia criminal laws, that's the objective of the Fulani in Nigeria and abroad. Guess why the Fulani are now struggling on the political front to make another Fulani to succeed President Buhari. |
stanluiz:Where and when did Atiku tell PDP to zone presidency to the SE? FYI, beginning from when Atiku chaired the wedding ceremony of president Buhari's kid last year, that was when Fulani started preparing Atiku to take over from President Buhari. |
Yukov:He had better decamp to APC. He has done more harm to PDP than good. He knows that Goodluck Jonathan from his SS had done the turn of the SS in Aso rock, and that it's the turn of the SE. Yet he came to contest presidential election with intention to win. How did he think he would win? |
Mad man who contested for presidency because of two factors: 1) to be above Amaechi in politics. 2) to ensure that no Igbo wins PDP presidential ticket. |
Square pegs in round holes parading as politicians. |
The insult continues. Fulani sense of entitlement due to the rigged and lopsided political structure of Nigeria created by Arewa soldiers between 1967-1996 when they created 19 states in one region - north; but allowed only 17 states in the two southern regions that formed Nigeria with the northern region in 1960. A Nigerian presidential candidate must win 25% of votes in 24 states before proclaimed winner. Fulani-led north thus became champions of Nigeria's political process. |
Ike Ekweremadu wants Enugu South to benefit from zoning in order to get more modern development to Enugu south. But Hope Uzodinma is not the right person to ally with in such pursuit. Hope Uzodinma who comes from Orlu senatorial zone has not repaired more than one street in Orlu since he became governor. Orlu is forgotten by Uzodinma government. |
