softysparky:You know people have lot's of reasons for doing some things. For instance, during my undergraduate years, A lady told me how her pastor was always staring at her in fellowship and getting distracted. Interestingly, I discovered she was the one actually pulling the strings with manipulative stares and gestures. The intent?.. You know na.. That's what I mean, by some being mischievous. |
softysparky:Oh that's safe.. I mean, since it's sometimes unconsciously done... Some do so with mischievous intent.... I caught a lady I know doing so few days back...i had ask her why she did that....sometimes it's laughable. |
softysparky:Do you make them notice? |
Etcetera should also know that there is no absolutely wrong way or an absolutely right way to go about it, if you really want biafra. No one is going to give you biafra on a plate. Now do you want biafra or not. Let me add, Without bokoharam it would have been very difficult to unseat the last president.. If bokoharam was a tool, it was an effective tool however an obscenely wrong tool...anyone who denies this is at liberty to do so. |
I came to this party quite late. After going through the first three pages, it was evident that the thread was dead on arrival. I know Aso rock will see this thread because I know they have a strong presence on this forum. This thread is enough for any government, no matter how daft the constituents are, to wake up from their slumber. |
What the heck are they probing?. Can they swear they don't know where the article was brewed from? |
Everything thing about apc is a lie. At best half truth. I was watching lai Mohammed yesterday on face off ;channels TV. Twisting facts and making silly facial gestures to make people agree with him. The DSS is now so partisan that, every neutral person will have to look at the political angle to every activity of the DSS. |
All na Peugeot.... 404. But this one fit no sweet sef. |
egbaguy:Buhari's sympathy for bokoharam is not in doubt. We are just hoping that he finds a way to call them to order. After all, they have no justification for the killings. He is now the president. |
This will shot up those janjaweedss who thought their dog father, had any chance in installing a Senate president on the pretensious ", party supremacy" They better stop their media rants. |
I'm with Dogara on this 100%. We know the people dragging the system backwards. |

Any reply that does not address directly the questions by olise methu is a waste. Methu has raised what he sees as issues to be addressed any response from APC should be based on the points raised. I think the PDP is prepared for issues based opposition. Are the APC folks ready for same? |
This is euphemism. The whole world seem to agree on the "baba go slow" thing. |
This world is becoming too dangerous. I've met wonderful people via this forum, I've done business with very honest people and we still communicate. Even two of my colleagues in office came in through a one on one via this forum. In all we just have to be careful and seek God's guidance at all time. |
I believe Wike is speaking base on information he has as the incumbent governor which I don't have. He is in a better position to say this. |
I watched it on TV. Would he have said that a year ago? Now when people like this talk, you want to foolishly hold on to it? |
MORNDEW:I stand by my earlier post. Yes, you are one of the Sai buhari folks. There's nothing wrong with it. With your posture, can you really say the truth about this government when the time comes? Can you really say oh, this government have gotten it wrong with this one... I mean when it matters? You can't be writing what you are not sure of about barcanista simple because he has an opposing political view of the government. Do you really know what it means to help a government succeed especially when you are not around the corridors of power? If you truly know, you will commend barcanista rather than write this rubbish about him. You think the best way to help buhari's government from afar is is to join the bandwagon Sai buhari, see no wrong cheerleaders? and attack well thought out opposing view? You truly think if the last administration had people like barcanista constructively criticise it's action from day one, it wouldn't have done better? Your writeup sucks big time. For you to have authored this, and think it's okay, sorry to say this, barcanista is a hundred times more than you. This is the truth. |
@op, made very strong points but I still insist that the issue of bokoharam will end because it's a Nigerian thing. The brains behind it are presently looking for a less dramatic way to end it. One thing they are afraid of is that, some persons have made up their minds to look into this bokoharam issue, anytime it ends. |
Can the @ MORNDEW be this daft and still breath? I was thinking he would bring out a point made by barcanista and tell us how wrong he was. All he had to do was to attack the personality of barcanista who is a hundred times more than him. This underscores the impact of barcanista 's hard knocks on this Sai buhari folks. |
Ishilove:Was that not the reason he was voted in? Look, away from praise singing, this administration has the potential of derailing because of their wrong perception of self righteousness, all powerful, all knowing, correct in all aspects, even with the obvious propensity of the players to be worse than the past. The only way to help this kind of government is to follow them closely from day 1 and make them keep their eyes on the ball, while insisting we are not fools. You can pass all the evils in Nigeria to the immediate past government but had we followed them closely from day 1, they wouldn't have made some errors they made. You think the people in this government are infallible as they want to make you believe? by making reference to the last government in any defense? Very few people agree that they are sleeping at the wrong time, even when their eyes are closed . I see no reason why the bar of expectations and criticism should be reduced because of buhari. |
If they want to retire him and thy peg it to those who resumed work on the very day he resumed and left the rest out. Even though, their appointment letter was the same date; what will be haruna's argument? I don't know so much about civil service terms when it comes to appointments. But I believe they are done in batches. Resent retirees in my state, had theirs done at the same time. I don't think it was reduced to resumption date, hour, minutes and seconds. The reason for the change is not strong enough. But if haruna is a better candidate, then good for him. |
Maybe I'm weird... I don't belong to the class of the @op and the girls involved in the story. I don't live a dirty life. By God's grace I shall not. |
Does this apply to the ones plying Ajah-CMS-Ajah? GO & FO, na 65 sitting, 70 standing. Inside Ajah go-slow. |
I agree with the @op 100%. If buhari us truly what his supporters tell us he is, then he'll agree that it was a flop. No two ways about it. Well, his supporters will want to justify every move by buhari no matter how foolish it may be. Who were his economic team for the USA journey, if I may ask. |
Again, barcanista is on point. This shows that the drafters of that article, for President Buhari never did enough research. Those who want to dismiss barcanista's observation on this issue are forgetting that, this will be history that will be referred to in the future. Now when someone picks up these points and say something derogatory about Nigeria, we will pick offence. For me, with all these gaffes, the essence of the article is defeated. Well done barcanista. The truth is bitter but we just have to say it. Imagine, some persons can't even accept that our president was wrong with his position. we should all swallow everything that comes from buhari without questioning or giving it a second look. That's not the change I want for Nigeria. Well done bro. |
whitemosquito:Thanks for the feedback. I'll search for it. |
Love gone wrong! He'll still find love again.. I've heard stories like this. In one case, God used the incident to save the lady. The man and the lady he eventually married died in an accident same day. We are just humans, we most times can't understand what's ahead of us. |
Freemanan:Sure I did. ![]() |
Happy birthday to my birthday mate. Great and special people are born on this day. |
Both of them could be nairalanders but did they meet through nairaland?... The big deal would have been, if they met through this forum. |
