Why is APC so desperate?

They want to rig this election. but they wanted free and fair election for the presidency.

With all due respect sir, you are obsfucating the facts and upholding deceit in this matter, is it that you didn't see the Anti Yoruba rhetoric in Agbaje's mien and campaign or you just seek to hide beyind a false sense of justice?

This election has gone beyond PDP or APC but a direct fight for the soul of our most developed City Lagos which is currently under direct attack from the visitors who seek to dislodge us from our enviable position of the real owners and the keepers of the custodian of Eko traditions and World view, Eledumare forbid that we lose to the ibos in this fight/battle for Lagos.

After we win this elections, we would need to revisit the role of the ibos in Lagus cum the whole of the Southwest and be more circumspect in our accomodating attitude and policies towards these people and this is no fault of the yorubas but that of the bile and extreme hatred the ibos habour in their hearts towards us.

Even Bola Tinubu would be dislodged if he refuses to do something drastic about the ibos at this juncture as most yorubas are now aware that we have a Cold War going on with the conquered people of biafra. We would not lose our most beloved city on the alter of political or electoral magnanimity or wanting to look "sophisticated" as we have seen where that has gotten us with these hateful ibo people. Never again would we lose our guard because we want to seem politically correct or more advanced than other ethnic groups in Nigeria.

I am so happy that the Oba had the effontery to mouth what most yorubas kept in their chests because we didn't want to be like bigots, now that the feeling is out there, we can kill the SNAKES by striking off the heads from Monday upwards...

All these trash, because of the political interest of one man who by all standard, said the wrong things at the wrong time?

this kind of like / share things is absolute nonsense.

reason is this. An APC supporter can type insult against GEJ or Agbaje in a thread that does not warrant such post and you'll see more than 150 likes. and you wonder who is it with a brain and conscience will click like for such thing.

it's absolute nonsense.

Missy89:
It will be very difficult for PDP to win Lagos because this guber election is more important for SW APC chiefs especially Tinubu. He will need Lagos in other to have leverage over Buhari. A PDP win wont be good for Buhari either, It will put a lot of pressure on him from his associates in the SW because the Fed will only be their source to power. So 2 Things will happen

Ambo will win convincingly tomorrow or Abaje wins but will be removed by a tribunal after Buhari is sworn in. Either way, Jimi is just kidding

I am out cool
So unfortunate.

-Remove Agbaje by manipulating the tribunal?
-Leverage over buhari?
-More important for SW APC chiefs ?

Is that what people are going to stand under the sun all day for?
is that the reason GEJ was voted out?

really unfortunate.
Politics › Re: Don't Expect Anything Special In Lagos State. Agbaje Will Be Defeated. REASON by ndcide(m): 10:24pm On Apr 10, 2015
Bigotry. it's people like the @op, that will vote to prove silly points.

Even if ambode wins, he is not going to do anything to the Igbos. he is not going to kill them. Also, if Agbaje wins, he is not going to kill the Yoruba people.

Look, whoever wins have no choice but to deliver. And from my assessment, sentiments aside. Agbaje looks more poised to deliver. he looks like one who will owe his victory to the people of Lagos and no one else. he is not riding on another person's chariot to government house.

and He'll have to prove a point as he will be coming in on a different platform that have never governed Lagos.

we have seen both leading candidate speak. We all know that Agbaje is a superior candidate.

Fashola gave a speech and all he had against Agbaje is his political party & not his person or competence. Ask fashola, if his actions in Lagos was about his party or about him working to improve Lagos.

If not for party reasons, will fashola really pick ambode against agbaje? Let's be truthful.

we know fashola never wanted ambode, but now have to support him for party reasons.

To those who hate Agbaje because some Non indigenous people love him; I'll say it is a shame. It's not an Igbo thing. I spoke with a keke rider at Ajah area this evening and he told me why he wants to vote Agbaje. because he believes some oppression will stop. interestingly he is not Igbo.

There are Igbos who support Ambode too.

Why all these ethnic politics. will Ambode drive away Igbo? NO! They want to unite Yoruba people against agbaje; Who is a Yoruba man.

We all know those who play ethnic politics and later on point at another person.

If its about continuity, we have heard them speak about their take. Agbaje never his his opinions. He clearly pointed area and projects which he says will be sustained or reviewed. he he said " for this projects, they can be done differently" . This other ones we shall continue.

Though I want Agbaje to win, I have no point to prove.

Well, it is left for Lagosians.
Politics › Re: Not So Soon Nigerians! By Okey Onyejekwe by ndcide(m): 7:43pm On Apr 10, 2015
People can choose to be simpletons and sound intelligent.
Fact, -GEJ was defeated at the polls in 2015.

Fact- Buhari was also defeated in 2011.

Fact- Buhari never conceded defeat, and congratulated GEJ his opponent.

Fact,- Because Buhari didn't do this, his supporters went on a killing spree.

Fact- That by this same period in 2011, the country and this government was faced with post election violence.

Fact- that the post election violence is linked to boko haram of today.

Fact - every sane human in Nigeria, knows that there was no way Buhari would have won the election. Then why the killings and destructions?

Fact - Everything was in place for such cycle to repeat itself but for the actions of GEJ.

Fact - GEJ did what Buhari couldn't do to save his country when emotions were high.

The reasons why GEJ is being praised is very clear. We know those who don't want to see them.

,These are the facts. You don't need to be too intelligent to know these things except you are so prejudiced and blinded by hate.

Politics › Re: Fayose Impeachmemt:big Lesson For Ekiti State Judges by ndcide(m): 7:18pm On Apr 10, 2015
All politics. Hence some persons can't say the truth.

We all know that

-Fayose's victory didn't go down well with APC
- Every possible means was used against him being sworn in.
- APC failed in that attempt.
- They therefore decided to use the state legislative arm of government against him. ( even here on nairaland , people boasted that they'll impeach Fayose.

- That the state APC law makers were poised for war, not because of Ekiti people, but for Party reasons.
- That they aligned with their party chief in Lagos to push this agenda.
- That they also failed in this attempt.

- That their party supporters will scream ' Is 7 > 18? But we all know that was not the case as fayose never asked them to abandon their office and duty. It was their political choice Simply BECAUSE THEY WANT TO GO AGAINST FAYOSE AND FRUSTRATE HIS GOVERNMENT FOR PARTY REASONS.
- That they could have remained in their party, state & offices and work positively with the governor and objectively play the role of check and balance.

- That The noise you here from Ekiti is all politics of self interest, supremacy, vendetta and gutter politics with gutter press.

That as it stands now, The APC in ekiti state are not interested in the wellbeing of the state and the people , but in politics.

THESE ARE THE FACTS.

they've used intimidation from even the traditional institutions, They've played the ethnic card just to unite the Yoruba people against Agbaje, Now they want to outrightly rig.

good replies so far. Just that some persons are looking at it from the " new graduate" angle. Look, these Indians don't like paying good remuneration simple.

I challenge the so called experienced graduates to tell us the truth, if they earn competitive wage in these Indian companies around.

@op, this is what may happen. After 6 months, they'll add 5k to it and give you a confirmation letter. thereafter, say 10k. you may not earn up to 80k three years from now.

I've said it before that this 2015 election is high level manipulation. I begged, but Nigerians refused. The grip some people will have on this country, only God will save.

JK is flying his ambition's kite too much on the platter of ethnicity just like GEJ. That should not be allowed. God bless Nigeria.
You are the one bringing ethnicity to the issue because you fear that Ambode will not win.

Politics › Re: Buhari Urges Supporter To Vote APC Governorship And House Of Assembly Candidates by ndcide(m):
Nigerians are not absolutely daft.

we don't want bandwagon or herd mentality kind of democracy. governance must be competitive in this country.

It will be a shame if we give APC room for highhandedness.

We must support PDP to also stand; by also voting for them where the have good candidates.

Only Idiats will want PDP to die because APC won at the center.

I think PDP should have more states at this time to balance things, as APC have the federal legislative houses.

Nigerians should vote wisely and own /drive the government.

The Igbo will only be taken seriously if they stand by their decisions. Those up north voted buhari in 2011 & did same in 2015, and even fought the government with boko haram and killed many Igbos. If you can't stand for something you'll fall for anything. The Igbo will be stronger if they don't frolic with the APC. They have a stronger negotiation strength if they hold on to their own. There are people in APC . Those people can represent. but if they follow the bandwagon effect now, they lose strength.

they should hold on to APGA or PDP.

How come those who saw no wrong in ACN winning most of the South west states except On do State, now see wrong in not having APC controlled state in Igbo land.
