What's the difference between this story and that involving the Oba of Lagos? My point is that those who were on the side of the Oba , simply for ethnic and APC reasons, will want to do "Aluta" for this story which most likely may be a lie.

If for any reason the person in question lost his job, I honestly pray for him that he gets another better Job fast.

But what I'm uncomfortable with is if he wants to do an APC vs PDP thing with the situation

that is if the story is true.

They are still exhibiting their triumphalism. most of them are on Nairaland, trying so hard to make us believe buhari will do and undo.

If buhari act the way some folks react here, his government will end before it even begins.
Politics › Re: NNPC Probe: A Welcome Development... by ndcide(m): 9:58pm On Apr 29, 2015
just saw this thread now. I must say Barcanista did a good job here. Again, if we don't see his post from the APC perspective and be objective, we'd know he made very good points. To be able to clean up NNPC we really have to look at it from past. the objective should be patriotic. A lot of things have happened there. some persons worked for OBJ in NNPC in the 1970s... They were also brought back in 1999..... and there were fraud reports about these people. Even them Obaseki need to clear some things. The problem is that rather than us take a broad view of this issue, we are just foolishly looking for $20billion all with the aim of attacking GEJ because some of us hate him. Its annoying.

I just hope Buhari is not thinking the same way most folks on Nairaland think.

We need to look at the petroleum sector holistically, and not about attacking GEJ.

its because they are still the incoming Government, wait until they get into aso rock, as excellent as the APC Govt was in Lagos, they got away with so many issues regarding the Press and heaven did not fall and it won't either when thet get into aso rock
So what's your point. You think this coming administration will have the luxury of highhandedness and impunity?

don't be carried away by the victory of APC. Wake up! This coming government is sure going to walk on eggshell. PDP won't do much as an opposition. The Nigeria people who are not sycophants, are watching APC too closely. They won't try the nonsense you think. I've told people, that APC is in a position to either deliver or die.
Politics › Re: Eziachi Writes: Buhari V Ait & Press Freedom by ndcide(m): 2:43pm On Apr 29, 2015
Absolute Bullshyte from Eziachi. This is what you see when people are overtly sentimental of APC. The visit to be covered wasn't a private meeting. if it was other media houses will not be there. beside buhari is presently occupying a state house, defence house. he is not occupying there because he is buhari. No. he is the president elect.

The sentiment of the writeup is obvious. Why is he not rejecting the army. After all , they claimed they don't have his certificate.

All those who think buhari will close down AIT are simpletons. He wouldn't love such ride if he decide to attempt.

Anyone who is not biased will know that Buhari's & his handlers were absolutely wrong with this one.

Buhari is now a public figure since he became President elect. The function in question that was being covered was a public function. Buhari is staying at the Defence house because he is the president elect not because he is buhari.

Will buhari refuse working with the Army because they said they don't have his certificate before the election?

It's only those who look at things from the APC point of reasoning that will justify this act.

The action was daft, wrong and demeaning. I agree with Barcanista on this.

we don't even know the woman. she hasn't made significant impact to warrant such false support Premiumtimes is trying to make us believe.

Christianity Etc › Re: Is A Prayerless Christian Really A Powerless Christian? by ndcide(m): 3:13pm On Apr 26, 2015
@op, is one of the pastor Chris children Frm Christ embassy. you easily know them.

Men ought always to pray and not to faint. Any Christian who can't spend quality time in prayer, is a disaster waiting to happened. This is what happens, such person begins to think like the world, rationalize things with earthly wisdom, become Somewhat Godless and fall out of faith.

There is a grand plan to create a Godless society, where people will feel they don't need God. It is an ongoing manipulation from the dark world. One trick is to make Christians prayerless. it has found its way to the church hence teachings like that of the @op. Look at the modus operandi of our churches today, you'll see less time is given to serious prayers. Sometimes less than 5 minutes. Look if true believes don't wakeup, people may become restless during prayer session in church..... I could go on and on. but those who are discerning, will know what I'm talking about.

God bless.

Some parasites here who are not even from Abia State are saying trash! I think the Abia people should just give Ikpeazu a chance, he'll do quite well more than Orji. After all in my state(Akwa Ibom), the then PDP governor(Victor Attah) was just there doing nothing. When Akpabio who came in through him won in 2007, we though we were just gonna be the same way. But behold, Akpabio really transformed the state and Attah became his enemy simply because he(Akpabio) was not yielding to any of his plans.
Thank you. Some person have been programmed to have some kind of sentiments. Trust me, It's coming from our Lagos axis. One day, some people will make others believe they are mad and they'll have to agree.
Politics › Re: INEC Declares Ikpeazu Winner Of Abia Governorship Election by ndcide(m): 8:03am On Apr 26, 2015
What's wrong if Ikpeazu won. abi because his's in PDP? Abia will be having a new governor. If they want him to succeed, they can make him succeed. what if Otti was given PDP ticket and he lost too.

That was how some persons where reacting when Obianor won in anambra state. They told the world that Anambra will suffer, that the new governor can't handle security issues etc. Today, the story is different. Those sentiments were just based on ngige's APC.

A new governor have emerged based on equity and popular mandate. support him. put his government to task. that's all. Those from day Enugu state, are not crying about party neither are they saying the incoming governor is a mistake because he's in PDP.

Who says Otti would have been better. You never know.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: To Get A Job In Nigeria You Must Know This! by ndcide(m):
Good one Engr.

Will you agree with me if I say that the HRMs are simply looking for bespoke candidates for most recruitment? This is because they have an exact requirement they want and look for candidates that fits in absolutely. This makes the HR job really difficult.

Most people have a dream career but can't actualize it because they don't have great job / work environment to develop and deploy their skills. That dream career sometimes dies. In an attempt to keep life going, most people take up another role. That's why you see brilliant EE & MECH Engineering graduates in banks while others are teaching physics and mathematics in secondary schools, just hoping for a breakthrough. When you HRMs see them after one year, will you still want to hire? Believe me, some may have needed
transferable skills.

I engaged a HRM who denied me an opportunity for a dream job role because she felt was not suitable
because, I'm presently in a different industry. Even
when I was willing to prove my mettle. She practically had to beg a Senior engineer is a related organization
to recommend a junior engineer for the role. This is a job role I've spent hundreds of Pounds training myself on.

I understand it could be difficult for most HRMs but where is the hard work, if they can't patiently and meticulously seek for gold from the 99. Besides the 1s were made by the opportunities they had. People don't have to be to exact to be given a chance.

The CTO in my company, though a foreigner is so versatile that he can retain his position in most Engineering related organization anywhere. isn't that lovely? People should be given opportunity to bud and grow.

For question 2, No matter how good one is; can one truly develop a career outside a job? I don't think so. One may know the professional level demand, have
required competence plus transferable skills, without the Job opportunity, it's Zero.

For question 3, It takes a lot to know what you can do for a dream company that few people or no one else can do. You really need great exposure especially in the specific industry and that's where the HARD work comes into play.

Great one Sir.

You guys really don't get it, to you, most people who voted out PDP are APC members, well I don't blame the PDP, they have been used to rigging so they didn't know they have been unpopular way back since 2011 even when GEJ was elected. How can someone who is used to being rigged into office know there is resentment against his party? Have you forgotten the catchphrase "I am voting GEJ, not PDP"? Yes, Nigerians have hated PDP for many years now, but due to their inability to express it at the ballot as votes hardly count, they bore it. Well the opportunity presented itself, and it became clear that only few people had benefitted from the government even with high oil revenue. Your party had built an ugly reputation in Nigeria, and if you think that criticizing a new government who is working hard to earn the trust of Nigerians will bring you support, Goodluck with that. I think the PDP should focus on restructuring its party through the remaining states they're in control of, and stop deceiving itself by presenting average candidates, Nigerians will no longer accept or tolerate such anymore, and the way I see it, getting back to office at the center is going to be a very walk for the PDP, definitely not under the present leadership who do not even understand what's going on.
Sorry, I had to refer to PDP, if you think it is the PDP that will put this incoming govt to task, then you are being narrow minded. Nigerians will be the ones to ask this government hard questions when the time comes. The problem with your likes is that anyone who questions any move by the APC is now from PDP, So shameful.

Look we are not going to reduce the standard of governance because it's APC. God forbid.

You can't say PDP is corrupt and APC is allowed to be corrupt or allow corrupt people to take over claiming that there are no saints anywhere, NO!

You can't accuse the PDP of being wasteful and then APC comes in to waste state resources under any justification. NO.

The present structure of APC is not deferent from that of PDP

We " THE PEOPLE OF NIGERIA" not PDP will put the incoming government on its toes.
Politics › Re: A Few Words For The New Opposition by ndcide(m): 8:16pm On Apr 24, 2015
If all we have seen from the APC so far is okay for an opposition, Then I think it's in order if PDP or/ and concerned Nigerians do same.

if abusing the President, opposition every move by the government, instigating hate against the government, media blackmail, false alarm, rubbishing institutions of government to induce despondency, encouraging mutiny, going overseas to destroy the reputation of your country, belittling her achievements etc just to gain political power is okay for an APC opposition, I personally see nothing wrong if PDP does same.

In fact it will be most unfortunate if they don't.

Honestly, Jonathan was already destined to fail because of how lowly his supporters and friends think. Can reasonable human beings just imagine the kind of crap some Jonathan supporters are spewing on here? This is something that concerns the nation but all you guys always lazily come up with are propaganda tales and cheap excuses for Jonathan's many failures. Look, all human beings fail from time to time and it's acceptable. What is not acceptable however is the cheap way of looking for excuses to blame other people rather than accept your failures, correct yourself and aim to win. Jonathan's friends at the top all the way to the bottom (common supporters) kept excusing Jonathan of his many failures by blaming other people and things without blaming him. These chants of sycophancy ruined Jonathan. Now, he has lost the elections, and ordinarily, one would assume that his supporters have learnt something but clearly they haven't learn anything.

God Bless Nigeria.
How many of your failures have you accepted.
