Jesus Christ!!! I noticed a letter missing on one of my kids surname. Surname is Obayuwana and the Wakanow guys typed Obayuana on his ticket. We are boarding Thursday morning. When I called them , they said the ticket is confirmed by Qatar airways. They can't edit it. Any advice for your sister

Use it. I got me visa with this. Remember to add the change of name affidavit and newspaper publication.

My test kits was delivered before my arrival. Day 2 result came out on day 5 and day 8 result on day 10. NHS staff came on day 4.

Biko has anyone traveled recently using Expert-Medicals PCR test kit. Are they still approved test providers in the UK. I'm looking for day 2 PCR test kit that is pretty affordable for my little ones. And there test kits seem cheaper but I want to be sure I can use them b4 I book.

I have a friend with this same scenario. He got a TETFUND Scholarship to a school in UK. When he applied for his own visa. He only used the scholarship letter as proof of funds. Before he got his visa decision, he had already started filling the wife and children's visa application. When the decision came out, he waited for the Proof of funds to mature and paid for their IHS and Visa fees and chose standard application.
He travelled to the UK and within a week after the dependent's decision came out and they all to join him.
You can choose which ever one either they apply while you're here in Nigeria or they apply when you travelled. You just need to prepare all the necessary documents for their own visa application before you leave so as to make it easy for them

If you are on full scholarship that covers your school fees and maintenance and recognised by the UKVI then the scholarship award letter is enough. No need of bank statement.

You can also sponsor your dependent. Tell your dependents to include your scholarship award letter and your bank statement in their application. Explicitly state in the cover letter that the bank statement serve as maintenance proof for your dependent.

Hope you know the UKVI financial maintenance amount for dependents and it differs per location ( inside or outside London).

A friend introduced me to nairaland after what happened to me last year in the hands of so-called agents. I am a lecturer in LASU, I got sponsorship from Tetfund for my MSc. They have paid my tuition to my school abroad. They paid the maintenance 8.5m to my account. I have done my biometrics ( standard) last week. I paid for assisted services and I went with everything but the took sponsorship letter, passport and others stated in my CAS. I asked about my bank statement the lady said I don't need it since I am on sponsorship.

Please my brothers and sisters, I need your advice on
1) Can I use that my bank statement to apply for my husband and daughter as dependent after Visa issued.
2) Or I transfer it to my husband account to apply while still in Nigeria
