President Muhammadu Buhari; a national leader, All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; and the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, have urged the people of Bayelsa State to vote for Timipre Sylva in Saturday’s governorship poll. They spoke during the grand finale of the APC campaign which was held at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex, Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, on Tuesday. The mega rally, which saw the temporary movement of the machinery of the Federal Government and the APC National Working Committee to Yenagoa, locked down the state capital. The rally had in attendance Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (representing President Buhari); the APC’s National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun; former interim chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande; Senator Heineken Lokpobiri; Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal; and a former governor of Ekiti State, Segun Oni. Others were former Managing Director, Niger Delta Development Commission, Timi Alaibe; Mr. Peterside Dakuku; Senator Magnus Abe; State Chairman, APC, Tiwei Orunimighe, and a host of other party bigwigs. Specifically, Buhari told Bayelsa populace that the APC would bring a new era of peace and prosperity to Bayelsa State. The President said, “The time for change, prosperity, good governance has come to Bayelsa. So, Bayelsa people should not miss the train of change. “Bayelsa State deserves a pride of place among other states in Nigeria. We must do the right thing in the APC to show that we are a party of change.” He urged them to go out en masse and cast their votes for the APC and its governorship candidate, Sylva. Buhari, who expressed confidence that Sylva would win the poll, promised the people of the state that Sylva government would provide jobs, ensure progress, prosperity and unprecedented development. On his part, Tinubu, who described the PDP as ‘Poverty Development Party,’ said for 16 years under the leadership of the PDP, the country was in the wilderness. He urged the Bayelsa electorate to vote Sylva to liberate them from bad governance and to ensure accelerated development of the state. Tinubu said, “On Saturday, go and vote and make sure you defend your votes. They are already afraid of you, because you are already the masters. Sylva is back; he has bounced back. His winning lies with you. After you have voted on that day, do not go home. Stay there and they should count the ballot in your presence. Do not leave it for the agents; shine your eyes properly. “To get freedom, it is not served free of charge. You must protect your votes. Your votes are your freedom from poverty, unemployment, bad government, among other ills.” In his remarks, Oshiomhole said the APC was unanimous that with Sylva on the driver’s seat, the APC would win the poll by a landslide. He said Bayelsa is unarguably one of the most endowed states in the country, but lamented that development had eluded the state because of misgovernance. “We need change in Bayelsa. We must refuse to be like a fish in the river without water to drink,” Oshiomhole said. On his part, Sylva said his government, when elected, would be people-centred, noting that development could not take place at the expense of the people of Bayelsa. He said his government would empower the people by providing the dividends of democracy, good governance, regular payment of salaries of workers and pensions, among others. He lamented the rampant rate of kidnapping, hunger and crimes in the state, promising that his government would abolish hunger and poverty and that people would have a sense of belonging. The highlight of the event was the receipt of 23 defectors, including serving commissioners, special advisers and local government chairmen that moved to the APC. On receiving them, Odigie-Oyegun lauded their courage for jumping into the “winning ship.” He said he was happy that they had realised on time that they were formerly in darkness and had now moved into the light. A Magistrate’s Court in Wuse Zone 2 of the Federal Capital Territory on Tuesday had to reschedule its ruling on whether or not to strike out the charges instituted against the Director of Radio Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, .by the Department of State Services. The presiding magistrate, Shuaibu Usman, had on November 22, 2015, adjourned till Monday for his ruling on an application by the DSS through its lawyer, Mr. Moses Idakwo, for the discontinuance of the case. Kanu’s lawyers, led by Mr. Jude Aboje, had during the hearing on November 22 opposed the application for discontinuance of the case, demanding that the orders of the court directing the release of the accused from the DSS custody must be complied with before the case was struck out. On Tuesday, when ruling was scheduled to be delivered on the application, the magistrate who was said to be bereaved did not sit. The DSS did not also produce the accused in court on Tuesday. But despite the absence of Kanu from court on Tuesday, there was a large number of the pro-Biafran leader’s supporters waving Biafran flags in front of the court premises. They also held placards bearing inscriptions of solidarity for Kanu. There was also a detachment of policemen numbering close to 60 on the ground to monitor the conduct of the Biafran supporters. The supporters peacefully left the usual point of convergence since the case started at about 9.45am apparently after realising that Kanu would not be produced in court and that the court would not sit. The DSS’ lawyer, Idakwo, had on November 22 applied for the discontinuance of the charges against Kanu in line with the provisions of section 108(1) of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015 due to what he described as fresh facts in the case which could not be entertained under the court’s jurisdiction. He said the prosecution intended to discontinue the case in order to institute fresh charges against the accused before the court with the requisite jurisdiction. Idakwo, said contrary to the impression created by the defence lawyers, the accused persons had not met the bail conditions imposed by the court as the DSS was still in the process of verifying the location and worth of the landed property presented by the surety as directed by the court. But Aboje urged the magistrate not to grant the prosecution’s application until the order of the court granting bail to the accused person and the order directing DSS to relinquish custody of the accused person to prison authorities were complied with. He accused the prosecution of not being diligent enough in the verification of the property presented by the surety. He also accused the DSS of going behind his client to obtain an order from Justice Adeniyi Ademola of a Federal High Court in Abuja to keep the accused in custody for 90 days through an ex parte application after the magistrate’s court had earlier granted him (Kanu) bail on October 19. Replying on points of law, Idakwo debunked the allegation of secretly obtaining the order of the Federal High Court to keep Kanu in custody, arguing that the law permitted the DSS to apply for such an order only through an ex parte application. He also said the DSS had applied for the order before the accused was granted bail. The magistrate fixed December 1 for ruling on the application for discontinuance of the charge. Kanu was on October 19, 2015 arraigned on charges of criminal conspiracy, managing and belonging to an unlawful society as well as criminal intimidation, offences said to be contrary to Section 97 (a) and (b) and 397 of the Penal Code. Part of the particulars of the charges against Kanu was that he appointed himself Commander of the Loyal Forces of Biafra and was broadcasting to the whole world the dire consequences of the government and people of Nigeria will surfer should they attempt hinder the actualization of the Republic of Biafra. source :http://ndubuisiude..nl/2015/12/biafra-magistrates-absence-stalls.html?m=1 cc:Lalasticlala

It has been discovered that men are capable
of having sex and enjoying it at any
opportune time and place. It is so easy for
men to do so because of their physiological
make up. Men have been said to be like a
helicopter when it comes to sex. They are
easily aroused, and can taxi, and take off
like a helicopter, without a runway.
Therefore, for men, sex can be said to be an
anytime affair without prior intent.
However, men still have a time that makes
sex most suitable for them. Experts in this
field have said that males’ best sex time is in
the morning. According to sex therapist, Dr.
Arlene Goldman, co-author of Psychology
Today Here to Help: Secrets of Sexual
Ecstasy, “Many men are on their horniest
first thing in the morning.” Though you may
not feel like it, doing it in the morning can be
amazingly hot for you as well, even as a
woman.
Your man’s best time for sex is in the
morning due to a biological reason that is
known as testosterone.
After a night’s sleep, the level of
testosterone peaks. And testosterone is a
leading contributor to sexual feelings in
men. Testosterone is a steroid hormone that
stimulates the development of male
secondary sexual characteristics.
Apart from this, most men wake up with
fully aroused body because blood circulation
to the penis increases overnight. But men
don’t look down at the rod in the morning,
thinking “Oh! That’s just my junk doing its
thing.” Rather, he sees an erection, and
wants to put it to use, instead of letting it
“be at peace” or deflate. What is on his mind
is to strike the iron while it is hot. So you’ve
got to understand why he is ever-ready the
more in the morning for sex.
And you don’t have to spoil the fun for him
by closing up. Rather, you should take time
to learn a few tricks on how you can make
the day a memorable one for him, while you
also take a bit of the action. You will be
surprised about how much fun will get out
of such an early morning exercise, especially
when you do not have the luxury of jogging
around. So, spare him the fun of that good
morning sex. It will help him to maintain
sanity in the face of temptations (especially
from the secretary or the tea lady) as he
goes about his job in the office or around in
the town.
Morning sex is not all about him, you can
also derive great fun from it.
In most cases, especially when you’ve not
learnt the techniques of enjoying the
morning sex, sex in the morning is the
farthest thing on your mind. Thus, your man
may be highly criticised for feeling like it in
the morning, especially for the religious mind
that wants to wake up doing the first thing
with her God, that is, prayer and praying. To
such a one, sex in the morning becomes a
sin or a taboo. But when you have learnt
how to enjoy the “good morning” sex, you
stand to derive great fun from it as well.
According to a therapist, “When a man has
higher testosterone, and he’s well rested, he
has more energy during sex and that energy
will make him last longer for the pleasure of
his woman”
Furthermore, it is also a great way of
keeping him thinking about you all day long
instead of flirting around in the office. So,
find out ways of banishing those unsexy “I
just woke up” feelings so that you can enjoy
the good morning sex. One way to help you
play along is to fresh up a bit. It makes you
feel like it, stay alert and ready to get in the
mood. According to Goldman, you can tell
him before the action starts you give him
30seconds to get ready for some mind-
blowing sex. You can then enter the
bathroom to get refreshed and take care of
whatever may be making you feel “unsexy.”
Position that make morning sex enjoyable
for women
Since women may not have lots of energy
for sex in the morning just because their
partners have, couples should adopt
positions that are easy, but still make hitting
the right spots in her a topmost priority. For
example, spooning is an ideal morning
position according to sex counsellor, Trina
Read, author of “Till Sex Do Us Part”. Many
people sleep in the spooning position, and
thus make it easy for him to handle the
breasts, and also touch her clitoris.
Another position you can try is “man on his
side, woman on her back, “with her legs
over his hips to have him enter you”. In this
position, your bodies will form a “t” shape.
This position is helpful if you have not
brushed your teeth yet, because you are not
facing each other, according to Read. It also
puts him in at the perfect angle to hit her G
spot with ease.
Other positions that also make the woman to
relax while the man is doing the energy
sapping workout will definitely assist the
woman to respond to the morning sex the
more, without the feeling of tiredness. The
previous write-up on sex positions in this
column will provide you with guides on
positions you can experiment with, till you
discover which one will serve the best
interest of both of you — pleasure. It is a
good way of saying ‘good morning’ to each
other, especially where you have been
picking quarrel over who should first say
‘good morning’. It’s amazing what couples
quarrel about at times. So, don’t think it’s
funny.
There is a magic in an early morning sneak
attack on him
An early morning sex attack on your
husband could be highly rewarding, and a
special surprise package for him, once in a
while, or on special occasions such as
wedding anniversary, his birthday,
Valentine’s Day, or to end a quarrel. It will
drive him to the peak of appreciation you
may better imagine.
Surprise him by waiting for him till he enters
the shower, then position yourself naked on
the edge of the sink, or the door, or on the
bed. When he pulls back the shower curtain,
or opens the bathroom or bedroom door, he
will be thanking God for you for
understanding how to be creative in giving
him sexual pleasure. Sure bet: an all day
thought about you that will drive him to his
wits end of nice acts, including a gift of a
lifetime. I can assure you he will definitely
reciprocate as soon as possible.
An early morning sex attack on him is one
coup for which you will not face the firing
squad. Rather, it will earn you extra credit
for being a worthy friend and lover of your
spouse. A trial will bring you great reward
both in kind and cash. I’m sure you will feed
me back without sharing your reward with
me.
Meanwhile, I’m sorry I have to go for now,
it‘s almost morning time as I write, and I
don’t want to be left out of the morning
action today, due to tiredness. I love to
reward my husband with that early morning
attack for being there for me always. See
you next week, and remember our secret: it’s
only for your married partner. Source : http://tribuneonlineng.com/benefits-of-early-morning-sex |
Delectable Nollywood actress cum movie producer, Genevieve Nnaji, has been keeping her fashion game tight. The diva was recently spotted looking all “Right” at the Lagos Television Network, wearing a cobalt blue dress with fringe as she went to promote her movie “Road to Yesterday”. Genny as she is fondly called hasn’t for a second played down her style tempo this premiere season. The tweaked garment that originally came as a jacket dress was very appropriate, the color flattered her skin tone beautifully, the fit was right, the styling was spot on, and that neckline style punctuation added an extra oomph to the look. We always look forward to seeing Ms. Nnaji on red carpets and the reasons are not far- fetched! The Federal Government has banned the importation of small generators popularly called 'I pass my neighbour,' used by low-income Nigerians. Controller, Federation Operations Unit Zone A, Lagos of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Mr Madugu Sanni Jubrin, disclosed this in Lagos while speaking with newsmen. Sanni also said that the command seized 4,733 goods worth N52 million and arrested some suspected smugglers since he assumed duties one week ago. He said the seizures were made possible through intelligence gathering and other measures put in place by the unit with a view to ensuring that the supply chains of smugglers were fully blocked. Conducting journalists round the seized items which included 239 bales of used clothing valued at N10 million, 1,120 cartons units of the small generators valued at N13.4 million, among others, Madugu said the unit would not relent in its efforts in ensuring that prohibited items are impounded and those involved in its importation prosecuted. “The smaller generators have been banned by the Federal Government because it is causing air pollution and destruction of our lungs and breathing system. That is why they have banned it but people are still interested in smuggling them in, that is why we intercepted them. “If you go to the market, you still see them because people have imported them before the ban. So it is the leftover they had before the ban that they are selling because the law did not backdate the ban and it is not an absolute prohibition. “It is prohibition by trade which means you cannot bring it in large quantity and sell to the public. That is the type of prohibition we have on this but if you buy one piece, Customs will not seize it. “We will not relent in our efforts. When we see any prohibited item, we will seize, arrest the people and we will allow the law court to take decision on prosecuting them. So it is better for them to stop smuggling than to continue when they know Customs will catch up with them,” he said. ABUJA— THE Senate, yesterday, directed the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, to begin to extend the validity of its results to a period of three years. This was even as it ordered the board to immediately stop its policy of re-assigning candidates to schools they never applied to, saying such policy was contrary to the act establishing the board. To this end, results obtained from the board by candidates seeking admission into universities are expected to last for three years. The red chamber, which order came following a motion entitled: ”JAMB’s New Admission Policy, “ sponsored by Senator Joshua Lidani, APC, Gombe South, which was debated during plenary, also urged JAMB to consult widely with Parents Teachers Association, ASUU and all other stakeholders in the education sector with a view to coming out with a friendlier holistic, comprehensive and sustainable admissions policy. It also directed its Committee on Education to enquire into circumstances surrounding the JAMB policy, including all allegations of favouritism and generally review the power of JAMB vis-a-vis administration and submit findings within one week. Earlier, in his motion, Senator Lidani frowned at the JAMB’s policy of posting candidates to schools, including private universities whose fees, he noted, were beyond the means of the candidates’ parents or guardians, saying in some cases, candidate were posted to universities located far away from their places of abode thus placing additional financial burden on their parents. Lidani expressed worry that although the Federal Ministry of Education had since suspended the implementation of this policy, JAMB was still going ahead with its implementation, thus creating more hardship for parents and uncertainty in the education sector. He said he was concerned given that the policy runs contrary to the letters and spirit of Section 5(1)(C) iii of the JAMB Act, which according to him, requires that JAMB should take into account preferences of the candidates in their choices of schools and the subsequent confusion surrounding the directive that only candidates whose names were forwarded to the university by JAMB were eligible for post-UTME screening and others would have to go back to JAMB website to find out their new institutions. Senator Lidani expressed concern that since the policy was announced, the board was faced with series of massive protests by parents and candidates of and some organizations like the Association of Tutorial School Operators of Nigeria as well as other numerous stakeholders. He said JAMB, at its 2015 Combined Policy Meeting, held on July 14, 2015, in Abuja, announced the adoption of a policy whereby candidates of universities with surplus applicants for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations, UTME, were reassigned to other universities with lower number of candidates than their capacities. While noting that JAMB was a board created by an Act of the National Assembly in 1989 to administer a centralized admission for universities, polytechnics and colleges of education in Nigeria. He further noted that by Section 5(1) (C) iii of the JAMB Act 2004, the function of the board, among other things, was the general control of the conduct of the matriculation examinations for admission into all universities, polytechnics and colleges of education and also include the placement of suitable qualified candidates in the tertiary institutions having taken into account, the preferences expressed or otherwise indicated by candidates for certain tertiary institutions and courses. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/senate-asks-jamb-to-extend-validity-of-results-to-3-years/ Source :

A house agent, Joshua Obed, on Tuesday secured the custody his daughter from his girlfriend, Sofia Isaac, 28. Obed, 30, told a Mararaba Grade1 Area Court, Aso Pada, that his daughter, who was under the custody of his girlfriend, was not properly looked after. The petitioner, a resident of Mararaba, Nasarawa State, claimed that his girlfriend was a heavy drinker.“Sofia goes out in the morning and come back late at night and do not take proper care of my daughter,’’ he claimed. Obed informed the court that he met Sofia sometimes in 2009 while she was staying with her sister in Mararaba and they fell in love. “She left her sister’s house to be staying with me and months later, she became pregnant in which I took responsibility for all her needs. “During her pregnancy, I told her I want to go and introduce myself to her family in the village, but she told me according to her tradition, it must be after her delivery,’’ he said. He also told the court that a year after she gave birth, the respondent’s behaviours changed, she started drinking and staying out late before she left his house to her sister’s house.“Whenever I talk to her, she shouts at me and says I have no right to talk to her because she is not my wife. “My Lord, I want the custody of my daughter because I don’t want my daughter to grow up in a bad environment,’’ the petitioner said. The respondent, however, did not raise any objection to the prayer of the petitioner. She simply said: “she is his daughter as long as he is ready to take good care of her, then I have no objection,’’ she said. The respondent urged the court to order the petitioner to allow her access to her daughter at her own convenience. The presiding judge, Mr Albert Maga, awarded the custody of the baby to the petitioner, and ordered him to allow the respondent free access to her at anytime.
