ProfCorruption:I will drink Ijebu Garri for dinner to mourn your departure. I miss the good ol' days when I used to intellectually beat up on you and one Katsumoto. Unfortunately, those days may be gone for good because the operators of this site do not have the vision to guide the site to its great potential. The Admin should really concentrate on technical issues and hire real pros who know how to develop and implement a winning model for the site. So long buddy. |
Frankly, I'd be very disappointed if Buhari does not give this position to ex-Governor Rotimi Amaechi (South-South). Putting aside Amaechi's contributions to the actualization of Buhari's dream of becoming our President, Amaechi is well qualified for the job, period. Amaechi or yawa go gas!! |
When you people decide to exercise your rights to be patriotic, you'd start using your brains to profer solutions to these problems rather than wallow in sorrowful mourning of losing the recent elections. Smh |
PatrykUtulu:Let me first state that I agree with you 100% that Nigeria needs the top four enabling conditions you itemized - Water, Steady electricity. Petrol and Security. Without these conditions our economic growth will continue to be less than its potential. I however disagree with you that it is not the job of the Government to create jobs, which you stated as if job creation should never be targeted by Presidential or governmental actions under any condition. As I understand it, in your country of residence, the Government takes specific actions targeted at job creation when dire economic conditions call for it. As an example, in 2009, President Obama signed the $787 billion economic stimulus package into law, a law which produced "jobs impact" of almost 400,000 in California, 300,000 in Texas, 200,000 in Florida e.t.c If your country of residence found it necessary to take job creation steps by introducing spending on infrastructure in various states with the added benefit of the creation of over a million jobs nation-wide, please explain to me why our own President and his economists should ignore this proven job creation technique. I believe our government has a role in job creation given the economic state it inherited from the most corrupt and economically inept government in the history of our great country. |
Congratulations sir. ![]() |
The gif below depicts what they did to Jagaban Borgu who thought he had a comfortable seat at the helms of power, though I wouldn't completely count him out yet. https://i.chzbgr.com/completestore/2010/11/26/9083c927-e356-4f25-9f13-17f67283f77c.gif |
We must applaud Tinubu for his contributions to the advancement of democracy in Nigeria, given his role in the emergence of Buhari as our president. Having said that, I think he went overboard by influencing APC to conduct unconstitutional mock elections of Senate President and Speaker of the house positions. Nigerians knew that Tinubu was primarily behind the mock elections but Tinubu's recent successes must have made him overconfident and underate the maturity of NASS elect-members as far as democracy is concerned. Frankly, most Nigerians are very unconfortable with Tinubu's new found power and are kind of happy that he may have been cut to size. ![]() But come o, how can 51 of Tinubu's boys in the Senate disappear to supposedly go on consultations with Buhari without having their aides and others monitor the activities in NASS or at least leave one senator in place to monitor Saraki's activities? nwannem. I smell a real rat! Democracy has come to Nigeria and Parade has indeed changed gear! May God continue to bless this great country, Amin. |
This bodes well for democracy. The primaries held by APC was a sham and uncalled for. The Senate is the only body constitutionally given the right to choose its own leader, why would APC want to meddle with this process? Since there was quorum and Saraki was elected by the majority of the Senators, I say big Congratulations to him. |
Bunmititi a.k.a tit, I knew you couldn't stay away for very long. ![]() |
Duru1:Correction sir. It was the reason why Ojukwu went to war, unfortunately the plan to rule over the entire SE/SS and the oil resources did not work. Fortunately that Era passed away over 40 years sgo. |
Sources tell me that he went to be at the bedside of Diezani Alison-Madueke at these trying times. Good man. Enjoy sir. |
To think that "University" students believe this crap.........nuff said |
@Mynd44, This is a very thoughtful article which truly deserves to be on the FP. I hope the site Admins do not allow petty disagreements with you to prevent them from placing it there. This thread titled " Ndigbo, It Is Time To Return Home And Develop East " and written back in 2011 supports your thesis. FP material |
This story can't be true. N30million to four communities is a slap in the face, one would have expected N3billion to each community for starters. ![]() |
@OP, you don't get to become the President of this great country against all odds and $$billions, and remain a fool. Our people in Nnewi will tell you that when you are eating with the devil, you must use a long spoon. We all know that Churchs and other places of worship are filled with the devil himself, so vigilance is wise I sure say high powered revolver dey inside de baban riga wey Buhari wear, in case one PDP BH member try nonsense. How person go aim pistol properly with closed eyes. ![]() |
isalegan2:Sista mi, this forum has matured enough to deserve one or two professionals working for Oga to manage content and elevate political discussions. A suggestion would be to use your money and hire a real jounalist to do your editing and content management, if your genius and talent are limited to Computer & Technical issues. BTW, I no be lawyers o, but I love lawyers, my 2 ex wives are lawyers, the two at home now are home makers. ![]() |
Simply because many African leaders love to cling to power by hook or crook, while some plunge their countries into war in the process, and GEJ did what is common in civil societies - hand over power in defeat, only a fool would equate that to an act deserving of the Nobel price for peace. P.S. If oyibo people gi GEJ Nobel Peace Price,I go change my NL handle to ILoveGEJ. |
The subject of this thread is deceptive and false. I urge the Mods to modify it. Senate did not pass any law which makes the legal age to have sex 11. The law merely sets the punishment of life imprisonment for raping anyone under 11. Current Criminal Code provides for life imprisonment for any person who has unlawful "carnal knowledge" of a girl under the age of 13. Note the term "unlawful" in the criminal code. This exempts those who are married to 13yr olds, for example. |
sirjohnson:Oga, do not destroy the girl's life. Let her focus on getting an education. In saner societies, if you sleep with her, you'd be imprisoned for statutory rape. |
PointB, isn't your preoccupation supposed to be focused on organizing the election of NL Eze Ndiigbo? abeg Leave your President alone. ![]() |
Its about time!!! They all should spend time at the hague prison and made to return the billions of naira they stole, especially Ihejirika. Below are some of the attrocities they comitted as documented by nbc news, reuters, and amnesty international: Nigeria: Gruesome footage implicates military in war crimes Nigerian Troops Battling Boko Haram Are Guilty of War Crimes: Report Nigeria troops slitting Boko Haram suspects' throats |
OREMUSSANCTUS:your own na special case ![]() |
Those BMWs should be replaced with armored vehicles as soon as they complete their relocation to Maiduguri. ![]() |
Are the Ijaws going alone and do not want to take Igbo nation along? I suspect that Asari will scuttle this move since this group of Ijaw leaders do not recognize him or his ambition of becoming the first President of biafra. |
dunkem21:Oga, I don scratch my head tire and I still no sabi why my name enter dis yearn. explain yaself before I "bu ekpe fun e" as my yorooba peeps would say. |
Forwetinnah:We complained about folks looting billions and you guys are here sweating a gift worn by the first lady. SMH |
Forwetinnah:It is quite petty to complain about what people wear and how much those items cost. You people should get a life. |
You fools. That watch was a gift - one of the perks of being the first lady. Haters are free to hug a transformer. Shi kena |
All I know is that Parade has changed gear for the betterment of this great country. ![]() Closet seccessionists and other unpatriotic goons can go ahead and hug a transformer. (PS Trasformer will have juice now unlike before) |
Oga, since you said you love her, I'd recommend that you let it go. We all do things we eventually regret - how many women have you had unprotected sex with who had abortions without your knowledge? I'm pretty sure you have no idea. I hope you tell her that you had unprotected sex with X number of girls and you may have been an assessory to abortion without your knowledge, and then ask her to forgive you for your past mistakes. If you can't do that, then forgive her and give her all your love. |
