The President has once again rendered me speachless by this awful admission of gross incompetence. We the Nigerian people, will return the favour by rendering him speechless next month, by shocking him with a defeat even after his N21billion donation. No disrespect indended sir; please start packing your bags. We will accept you with open arms in Otuoke. |
Stale news. Buhari has already met INEC requirements in an affidavit and both INEC and APC no longer have any actionable requirement on this issue. Case closed. |
ARKdiscloser7:I was going to deal with you severely but your stoopid graphic made me laugh. www.nairaland.com/attachments/180447_ROTFLMAO_gif3d0c775232c7f27cf80592785b9635b6 |
MissMeiya:We have sources in the right places. ![]() Just kidding - knowing that those at the corridors of power routinely visit this site, I knew they'd rectify the error. I just went back to the site and checked. Go here and scroll down to "Nigeria Today" section and you'll see the updated pic. |
Kudos to the authorities. The photograph which was erroneously placed on the website has been replaced with that of Akwa Ibom stadium. |
byrron:The above shows the cluelessness of GEJ's administration and the incompetence of his operatives. They actually believe that multinational corporations are only looking at customers in Nigeria alone, as they move manufacturing here. This is quite shallow and one of the reasons why they will negotiate away all the benefits to Nigerians and continue to screw the common man and small businesses. Wise people know what I am talking about. |
onatisi:You seem to be unfamiliar with the scope of the waiver fraud perpetrated by this government. Additionally you are unfamiliar with the fact that when the tariff was first announced and a timetable set, the whole affair was abrupt. No insult intended but this shows that you are not informed and are quite ignorant of the issues you wish to address. No sane person opposes the encouragement of manufacturers and incentivization of foreign corporations to bring their manufacturing outfits to Nigeria. As you rightly pointed out, the incentives given to them by the government is working and manufacturing plants are setting up shop and employing Nigerians. This is a very good thing. The point I am making is that, these manufacturers do not need additional help to increase their customer base, Nigeria, Africa, and the rest of the world is already available to them to market their cheaply produced vehicles. Why does the government need to put small businesses in Nigeria in hardship when it is absolutely unnecessary. These manufacturers can sell their products all over the world as I stated, the government does not need to introduce high tariffs on Nigerian small businesses in order to achieve their aim. Oga, feel free to maintain your view, but my points are very simple to understand and quite sensible. Happy New year to you, and I wish you will not have to support the children of your relatives who may be driven out of business because of this senseless policy. The good news is that Buhari will reverse this senseless policy while continuing to support the manufacturing industry. |
onatisi:The tarrifs on imported used cars are high enough. The abrupt increase serves no useful purpose and is senseless. As they increase tariffs, they grant their cronies waivers to the tune of billions of naira while attempting to kill small businesses. These actions are senseless and not well thought out. |
maxtamazin:The government should allow the free market to work. If the imported used cars are inferior to the alternatives provided by the manufacturers, the imported used car market will die a natural death. Very simple concept. |
okabe:They are already providing financial incentives to the manufacturers who will find customers for their products in Nigeria, other African countries, and even abroad! The Nigerian Used car industry poses no threat whatsoever to these manufacturers, so why destroy that industry? There is no sense in abruptly increasing tariffs on used cars simply because the government wants to support auto manufacturers. |
This is a non issue. If true, his wives are not even up to 4 yet, so kini big deal? |
Congrats Uncle Bacanista. |
nwanne m, we so soon turn dat chair wey GEJ sit on top, dey use commit all these ill advised attrocities championed by his idiatic advisers, to tiny suitcase wey him go carry go Otuoke, in a few short weeks. I warned the Clueless one to do the honorable thing and put the country first, but the sychophants around him have forced him to proceeed. He will now suffer the consequences and be booted out of office. His people are waiting for him in Otuoke. dolo |
He can't handle his wife but feels confident he can handle a great country, Nigeria. A country filled for brainy experts who specialize in aeronautics, medical sciences, computers, neural networks, televangelism, international 419, and every other field you can imagine. SMH |
We've been telling the clueless one and his cohorts for ages that their ill-advised tariff increase on used cars is not sustainable and would cost the country thousands if not hundreds of thousands of jobs, not to talk of the huge loss of revenues to be incurred by the customs. They can support the auto manufacturing industry without destroying small businesses which thrive on used car importation. This tariff has been postponed for at least the third time - evidence of cluelessness. The good news is, come April, GEJ and his ill-advised team would have been booted out of office, for good. Idiats!! We are still waiting for the brand new cars they promised - you know, the ones which will cost N1.5million. The Freaking liars must be voted out, come next month. |
KingMEXX:It is better to do what he did than to tell blatant lies to people and call the lies prophecies. |

The President's handlers do not want to learn how to use their God given brains. Why schedule a national address for 7am on New Year's day. They know fully well that the President must have had something to drink to celebrate the incoming year (we know he drinks in moderation ), and we all know how hangover can affect people.May neotic16's Jaobulon of the freemasons fame, soda de yansh of his advisers for trying to embarass the poor President. Lets hope the message was a recorded one. ![]() Happy New Year to all, BTW. |
You guys can doctor, modify, fix, or even employ hollywood special effects folks in your attempts to discredit Buhari. None of your foolery will prevent GEJ from returning to his retirement home in Otueke, in a few short weeks. |
WhiteTechnology:Let me simpoly start with the first item you listed. What role did you play when the constitutional amendment review comittee was going all over the country requesting input from Nigerians? Did you or any organization you belong to make any submission? If so, please inform us. |
WhiteTechnology:You've still failed to give us a roadmap to achieving or implementing the items you listed. These items are well known to everyone and have been known for decades. Listing stale, no brainer items, is quite useless, to tell you the truth. |
WhiteTechnology:You've been defacing threads all over NL with the junk above as if its some ingenius idea. The issue is not your list, but how to implement the listed items. Your clueless President is not providing leadership in this area at all; perjhaps you can provide a road map to achieving the items you listed. |
Congratulations to the Clueless President and his diplomatic crew who just secured brand new enemies for Nigeria. While we are still battling Boko Haram, this government should not be taking actions which could encourage very extreme elements in the middle east to have a reason to work against this great country. Our saving grace would have to be a Buhari Presidency. wharrrraaapitty!! |
This report is so distasteful and has rendered me speechless. |
@edoyad, the non Northerner. How market in Kaduna South or Soutern Zaria na, abi you've moved to Plateau? At any rate Merry Christmas. Dan Kaduna |
Osinbajo is a classy and savvy dude. He complements President Buhari very nicely and I give credit to Tinubu for having the talent to identify such people. As for our PDP/GEJ supporters, I feel sorry for you. Its not easy to watch your paymasters behind the ace ball and being unable to stop the wave. My pellow PDP crew led by insincere9gerian are left with the option of burying their heads in the sand like this Wild Camel (rakumin dajij) or the Ostrich. I believe these people are in great denial. ndo o. www.nairaland.com/attachments/648223_rak_jpg3be10a689dcae3eda0158a90666e866e |
tit:I admire your passionate advocacy for Buhari's certificate submission, rather than for the submission of the long overdue audit report regarding the mission $65billion by your oga, GEJ. |
Goats, particulary the red ones, both pot bellied and lean, have always lived harmoniously with regular people in compounds all over Ibadan. One is not surprised that a goat appears in OP's picture. Do those people eat goats at all? |
jamace:Some folks are quite brainless. Why would Buhari be afraid to present his certificate? Would he not have produced the same all the other times he contested? |
