abes:I think you missed an important point of section 135 subsection 3, i.e. if the Federation is at war in which the territory of Nigeria is physically involved and the President considers that it is not practicable to hold elections........ So INEC does not have to postpone anything. As long as the President considers that it is not practical to hold election and the National Assembly passes the said resolution, GEJ's term can be extended for 6 months. Though I don't think GEJ has the votes to pull this through, I don't trust the greedy bastards in NASS who are capable of doing anything for money. If GEJ goes this route, it would be a declaration of war against Nigerians. |
Truth be told: Some of the territories in the so called Niger delta or SS may indeed be Igboland. This is indirectly confirmed by the water people's admission that Delta Igbos exist. |
Is this graphic tool still in existence ![]() I thought it went under when MS-Word disabled Word Perfect. |
Shameless apologists are now pointing their fingers at the Chadian President instead of accepting responsibility for their failures. Guess what? No one is surprised. |
@OP, if you are troubled by your grey hair and whether women will find it unattractive, nwanne m, shave the hair off! Many women love bald heads - abi razor don finish for stores? |
These hackers are apprentices. The main pages of the website remain active...the hacked page is an obscure page which most visitors do not access. They should look at their IT employees because methinks one of them simply created that page and placed junk therein. This a'int no hack! |
Are people still wondering whether this Denrele of a guy is gay? Denrele is a gay guy who continues to shock you people to the bank! That means that he is brighter than most of you. Unfortunately for him, if he comes to my neighborhood dressed like he usually does, I may very well follow my peeps throw stone on the guy. |
ujoinme:Prat tell, what state am I from? |
aljharem:The prevailance of the rule of law is why Tambuwal went to court, he should not be villified for that. Lets allow this to play out in court. |
I feel sorry for you people who are basing the judgement of your leaders on how physically appealing the stadiums built by them are. Una go suffer tay tay. |
Beautiful stadium!! I have to add however that this is another waste of state resources. Such a stadium should be a business venture, paid for by investors and not state or federal government's venture. The funds invested by the state on this stadium would have been better spent on several first class hospitals built acrosss the state. We know that when state/fed governments in Nigeria invests N100billion in a venture such as this, at least N50billion of it would be looted. SMH |
aljharem:Aljharem, you of all people know what pro bono means na. We all know that all of these politicians loot with the exception of Buhari, but we must agree that respect for the rule of law in matters like this should prevail. |
Mr. Kanu was a very active nairalander a few years back https://www.nairaland.com/fotodaddy A very bright detribalized guy who loves adventures. Here is a thread where him and fellow nairalanders and other friends, including me , went off roading - that was so much fun. Driving through rugged Backstreets of NigeriaCongrats buddy! |
Please return Sanusi. |
They rig within their party structure and they similarly plan to rig the Presidential elections. Lets hope they can do so in a manner which would not be too blatant ...if not,............babboons will dance Ajasco instead of skelewu ![]() @OIP, carry on with ya misinformation, you hia. dem go soon ban you |
I remember being complemented for my accent by American babes, while I was in school few years ago, with statements such as "What a beautiful accent". Both whites and blacks loved the accent. This made me drop all effort at trying to speak like Americans. Americans do consider Nigerian accent, very sexy. The only time I tried to sound American was when I came home for holidays because doing so got me easy girls (I know...youthful indiscretion). SMH @ fools who attempt to sound like rappers or ghetto dwellers. I ran into many of them in the USA not to talk of those at home who have never stepped out of the country. |
At least 10 -15 people don abuse dis tit girl and call her stupid dumb, e.t.c The truth is she is smarter than most of the people abusing her...I still dey psychoanalyse dat girl...As my Yoruba people dey talk...oro girl yen ti su mi, to tell you the truth |
Malam Detolee, the sad truth is that at least 70% of the electorate cannot read well enough to comprehend your epistle. The epistle is also useless to nairalanders because 98% of them have already made up their minds. My recommendation to you is to use your skills to speak to where the $10.8billion, which Iweala acknowledges that is missing, is located. |
PetroDolla3:Please accept my sympathy for your frustrations and shamefulness regarding the failure of your Central Bank's governance. Note that superior arguments are always superior to name calling, and are indications of maturity and enlightenment. Our experts remain willing to help your government despite the foolery of intellectual midgets such as you. |
olatayo1984:Blame GEJ's educational system. many of these so-called graduates are brainless. smh |
They need to hire one of our Nigerian bright minds to run their Central Bank. Soludo or many many others will do wonders for them....if shame dey catch dem, make dem use our people as consultants wey no get public face. The last thing we need is another influx of illegal aliens from Ghana. |
Is this really true, did BH actually capture Mubi ![]() Why hasn't the Feds unleashed overwhelming force against BH to retake control of this town? SMH |
Kenai:Methinks OP wants "Threads I've liked"/"My Favorite Threads" or something of that sort. |
atlwireles:I know you are quite shallow and expect you to run away when challenged intellectually. olodo |
I don't know what this artwireless of a guy is celebrating, really. I'm not so sure that the new political climate in the USA bodes well for Nigeria or Africa as a whole. I don't believe this atlwireless of a guy is smart enough to enumerate his reasons for celebrating. 'Copy and paste' does not require any thoughts. I'd withdraw my statement if he could give us the reasons why a repubilcan control of the US congress is in our best interest. |

Kelvin0:smh @ our educational system. I will simply assume that you mistakenly quoted my post and gave the response above. My post had nothing to do with APC. |
Ngwakwe:How did you measure the 98% value other than quesses and counting the Christians within your circle of friends and family? Besides quite a few people who have been 'baptised' are ardent juju worshipers, animists, and/or cultists - i.e. even after being baptised. Your 98% number probably include those folks. |
Ikengawo:I think the idea that ss & se are made up of 99% christians is stretching the truth a bit. 40 - 50% Christians my be accurate while the rest are animists, idol worshipers and cultists. Please do not take it the wrong way, I am simply stating what I consider to be facts much like you did above. |
GEJ is too loyal to dump Sambo. Those who think otherwise are not very good observers. |
The judge's ruling is absolutely the correct one in that Tambuwal is still the Speaker and as such, the only party constitutionally authorized to adjourn and/or reconvene the house, unless he delegates that authority. It simply shows the cluelessness and lawlessness of Federal Government agents and their lawless police as they attempted to violate our constitution. GEJ needs to thread softly here before he invites impeachment proceedings against he himself. olodo |
