A boy who is simply identified as "Destiny" was abandoned by his mother, who was fleeing from security operatives enforcing the lockdown order in Benin, Edo State's Capital.

When interviewed by an ITV correspondent, the boy disclosed that the "his mother had gone home". He also revealed that they live around "Total".

A thorough investigation should be carried out inorder to ascertain the true mother/parents of that child; because I can't imagine how a mother would abandon her son just because she sighted security operatives.
Or could the child be a victim of trafficking.
The woman in question should be arrested so that the truth could be extracted from her regarding this story.....May GOD continue to have mercy on humanity.

Is there any major market in the world where physical distancing is being observed? Even in the Mile-12 market in Lagos that has been open all through the Lock-down, physical distancing is rarely observed. Even in the compound where you stay, among your neigbhours; do you maintain any physical distance? Even the elites, when they buried one of their own recently, all clustered themselves. Rather than picking on other tribes for no justification; the best you could do is to offer them an advice how they could maintain physical distance among themselves in a major market like that... May GOD help have mercy on us all...

It baffles me the manner and ways in which govt officials in Nigeria usually and shamelessly come out to assure Nigerians of their safety and wellbeing after they might have been maasscared by criminal elements in the society; yet these criminals are never arrested nor prosecuted. The same politicians who can afford to campaign day in day out through out the communities they represent during election but now that they are needed the most by the people, they are simply no where to be found or have simply gone into hiding..... Plz who is deceiving who?

Mr. Buratai; for your information, we are aware that Bokoharam have already been defeated by the bravery of the Chadian troops led by their president. So all that is required by the Nigeria troop is to carry out a mop-up exercise because 90% of the job has already been done by the Chadian troops. And the Nigerian troop should ensure they carry out the mop-up exercise in earnest so as to ensure that Bokoharam does not have room to regroup again. So Kudos to our neigbhour Chad for coming to the rescue of our dear nation Nigeria which has been under the siege of Bokoharam for years with the loss of many innocent Nigerian lives.

It is quite unfortunate the level of poverty in the land; but where is or has all the federal and state govt relief materials that has been widely circulated in the media been going to? If such a woman has not gotten anything yet, where and who have all the relief materials and money been going to?
Can Nigerians really trust this government to evenly distribute these materials and money without favouring certain people and squandering large sum of the money meant for the poor?

The sudden turn of events in this country is really baffling; especially after the break out of the pandemic. The same government officials of all levels that have hitherto before now not shown any interest in improving the medical facilities and personel available for use by the true Nigerians who may not be able to afford treatment abroad, have suddenly under a few weeks been able to set up several medical facilities and equipments at a much larger scale and higher cost.
The funds that were never available before now according to the lies they've been feeding us with, have suddenly become available since it has dawn on them that the abroad they usually run to is no longer safe; so they are simply stuck with us here and have no other choice but to put the right facilities in place just in case they are struck down by one disease or another.

May GOD save us from these heartless rulers....

The same China that has sent quantum of relief materials and medical personel to help millions of Nigeria curb and curtail the spread of the disease; yet can not accomodate and help few Nigerians right there in their backyard...

Where do we place the balance.
Quite unfortunate! May GOD open our eyes and give us better understanding not to sell our birth right in the place of bilatetal negotiations...

The Lagos State govt should ensure they distribute relief materials first before carrying out any investigation, that way the people will co-operate will the officials. Because since the lockdown, many have exhausted the little they have and presently living from hand to mouth.

It would'nt be wise for you to go to a very hungry person's house to conduct investigation without ensuring that the person has something to eat or has been eating; because some of the symptoms could be hunger related.

Out of the #500b earmarked for the Covid 19, the govt can share 1billion naira to every Nigerian and then use the remaining amout for other projects.

How true and real is this? And has the govt not convey this new development to those in the power sector. This is because, an official of EKEDC just distributed bills in my area today...

So what should we do in a situation like this; which agency of govt do I report or complain to?

Because I don't understand why NEPA officials will be allowed to work and distribute bills by the Security agencies saddled with the responsibility of ensuring that Nigerians observe the lockdown when other sectors/agencies are observing the lockdown?

All the govt. keep telling Nigerians is how they intend borrowing huge sums of money from a number of foreign financial institutions; but I have never heard or read of the govt plan(s) or measures in place to repay the huge sums. Or do they just want to borrow and squander this sums and leave the burden of repaying these loans to the next administration. May God help Nigeria.

I think you should take sometime out and evaluate everything that had transpired from then till date and who you have become today; you would realise that she has long been part of your success story; regardless of what her intention was. Because the Almighty GOD alone knew who and how to get such words of transformation to you and God found her to be the right tool to convey such vital message to you.
I believe her words have indeed played a huge role in helping you become who you are today.
One thing you should do immediately, is to start working on yourself to detoxify yourself of any any anger, resentment you feel towards her & her family. Because for the mere reason that you mentioned her daughters unfortunate situations is a sign that you are more or less happy about that, which shouldn't be. You are indeed destined for a much greater height if only you can free yourself from any anger or resentment you feel towards her & her family and learn to pray for them also in your closet from a clean heart... May GOD guide and give us understanding in our daily life.
