You welcome.

Once you've done your research about the Schools that offers the courses you interested in. Please post them here then we can take it from here.

We will tell you which one fits your hustling plan.

BUT potentially you can look for schools around Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Dortmund, Munich & Bonn.

Halo everyone, i have been following the thread but couldn't make it to winter cos I joined late July. Please am ready with documents to apply for summer admission.. As most schools opened their portal yesterday. Please I need clarification and advice on the following

What is the best way to send documents across to Germany? (Fast and efficient) I will be sending to Five schools at once...

MyOwnOpinion: The best way to send your Document is Thru TNT Or DHL.
BUT
If you reside in Lagos; I will advice you to use NIPOST. Specifically, the one @MM2 Airport. Your Docs. will get to the school latest in 2 weeks

time. Mine took 9 days & 10 days respectively for the 2 documents i sent.

IF you are not in Lagos or you can't go to MM2, BEWARNED; It might take up to a Month for your docs to get to the school.

So send your docs very early if you want to use any other Nipost Office apart from the one @MM2 (NACHO).

Secondly, I see payment to uni-assit is quite stressful.. (TUM is the only school that require use of uni-assist in my choice of schools)...any suggestion on how to pay them faster?

Get someone to help you pay in Germany or in Europe.

Finnaly, pls can someone hint me on these cities...
Kaiserslautern, Bonn and Saarbruken..in terms of hutsle and student jobs...the schools from there have been communicating with me via email...even though my first choice is TUM....I sha want to keep an open mind.

Tank u all so much

KTown as it is called is a Big Town/City as you may called it. And there are student jobs, same as Bonn BUT am not sure of Saarbruken.

please if you read the requirements for visa interview. it states clearly that you must have an open blocked account in germany, you confused everyonr here when you mentioned visa interview knowing that alot of people have been trying to get a date gor winter semster but to no avail dont blame @neckki. The appointment you have is for certification of bank dovuments to open the account. after you have you have opened that and recieved your confirmation from the bank you can then apply for visa.

Hello house, I want to appreciate everyone in dis forum for all their efforts into actualising each dreama..my gratitude goes to those a already in germo and still manage to come here to assist others...I have scanned tru dis forum from part 1 and hv gotten lots of info but still needs help... I am a French graduate and I Want to do an M.A in one of the germo skuls...Can some recommend some good universities for me for the summer session? I bliv there are foreign and modern language graduates here...Tanx and happy new month!!

Also what courses are you interested in? The truth is there are a lot of good schools in Germany.

Knowing which course you're passionate about is a good way to start. You may not find the M.A Programme in the SoCalled Good Schools. Then

you can now look for Good Locations(States/Cities) and how it will fit into your plans. Do you plan to Hustle, have fun/clubbing/site

seeing
Or you the Scholarly type.

If you are the scholarly type. Then you might not consider the location seriously since you want to It means you want to fully concentrate on

your studies with No Side Job distractions during your lecture Semester periods.

To check for courses that may interest you. Look thru https://www.daad.de/deutschland/studienangebote/international-programs/en/

So AM mail dropped today. Many many thanks to all the contributors on this thread.Like @ninered said, it's not that people don't want to contribute, the torture of waiting was something else. Besides, the interview questions were more or less same we've read on here.
Also conveying the wrong information to other folks based on one's personal experience wouldn't be appropriate. For example, I wasn't asked for the WAEC scratch card but my friend was asked to submit hers just last week.

For everyone that's still going through the process or has just begun, please read the pages diligently because there's so much to learn. Also, don't always take one person's comment as the only word. Try to gather as much information as you can and when you do go for your interview,go with all that is relevant. If they don't ask for it,you keep it.

Sorry for the epistle.

Interview on the 31st of July,
Funded on the 9th of August
AM mail 30th of August.

hello everyone, I have lots of family in Germany...Last year September, a cousins of mine who jst rounded of his ph.D dia sent me d daad.de link to scan tru and start an application process which I did..The first was MA in Euroculture at the university of Göttingen but as a novice I submitted without my transcript coz my school was delaying and I was turned down early January by an email...I later tried again February/March by applying for European master in migration and intercultural relations at the university of Oldenburg but culdnt meet up get my transcript again coz of the challenges at my skul.. So I dropped along d line....I have been following the thread and there are so so many things I don't understand.. esp d blocked acct aspect but I was told since I hv family ova dia I wouldn't be needed dat...I studied foreign languages at IMSU...They say "wat a man doesn't know can kill him"... pls brothers I will be elated and grateful with suggestions from you all...Thanks & God bless!!!

Eyah!......What took you so long to ask this questions. Well, It's never too late so my advice are.

The first was MA in Euroculture at the university of Göttingen but as a novice I submitted without my transcript coz my school was delaying and I was turned down early January by an email...I later tried again February/March by applying for European master in migration and intercultural relations at the university of Oldenburg but culdnt meet up get my transcript again coz of the challenges at my skul.

MyOwnOpinion:
To overcome this Challenge Go back to your school (IMSU) & give your school an Office address of your Friend or Relatives

(Anyone who his working in an Organization) If you are asked Y by your sch.? Tell them Job purpose (#MyOwnOpinion wink). This way you

will be able to collect your Transcript to your self and use it whenever you need to (Try to make Clean Coloured Photocopies & make sure you

Notarize them)

There are so so many things I don't understand.. esp d blocked acct aspect but I was told since I hv family ova dia I wouldn't be needed dat.

Yes.....You don't need Block Acct. if Your Relatives are willing to get you Verpflichtungserklärung (Also called Sponsorship Letter)
Or
You can secure a Sponsorship Letter from a Public Funded Organization in Europe.
Or
You open a Block Acct. (I suggest you use FINITIBA - Which is easier)

Please house Can anyone help list which documents exactly are we expected to come to the embassy with. I also got a mail today telling me that the visa fee ha a just been increased to €75 and my interview is on October 2017 so I should Come with enough money. Also this money I noticed that the reminder that fintiba bank sent me says I should now fund 8829 instead of €8729. I am actually expecting my transfer to drop today as I funded last week 17th. please has anyone also noticed these also

If you have been following this thread since last month then you should have known about the Increment in the Visa Fee.

It has been posted here several times without number.

Same goes with the Amount you should put in your Block Account. It is 8829€ and no more 8729€.

Hello house please I need to confirm this. I friend of mine told me that her application was approved last month by Uni assist and she did you pay any 75 euros. She is heading to Rhine waal University but yet to get an admission. I advised her to call the school to know if her application has been sent to them.

I have been admitted oo. I'm just trying to help a friend of mine.

Yes, that's right.

Tell her to mail (e-mail) the school. Asking if the school had received her application and what's the status of her application. Or

Why is her/his admission letter not yet ready as the case maybe.

Thank you necki. So let's say I have my 100l transcript from noun what do I need to do next? What other documents? And when sending documents to uniassit will I still include my SSCE since I now have a 100l transcript?

Thank you necki. So let's say I have my 100l transcript from noun what do I need to do next?

You will have to go thru DAAD to look for the courses you are interested in applying to. Just go thru the link @gabi101 sent to you earlier.

Check for the University Website & Click thru the link. The link will refer you to The Schools Webpage and there you will see their Full Admission Requirement for the course

What other documents?

Once you follow thru the 1st Step I explained above You will see the other required docs.

In Addition, you will have to either Write an English Lang. proficiency test (IELTS or TOEFL) or Get a Letter from the school (NOUN)

where u got your Transcript that you studied in English Lang
.

And when sending documents to uniassit will I still include my SSCE since I now have a 100l transcript?

Absolutely!........They will need both.

BUT you will have to register on Uni-assist website first. Fill out the forms accurately, upload all the requested documents (You will see them there) and pay for them to process your application.

I hope these helps.

@neccki, some schools do give Transcript addressed to Institutions to student for onward delivery to the institution concerned.

For instance, Student A's transcript addressed to a German University can be given to the student who will then figure out a way to forward it to that German University.

This is not ideal though and only a few schools do this. Most school prefer sending it direct and would rather give the student a student's copy which isn't an official copy.

Exactly my point.

and would rather give the student a student's copy which isn't an official copy.

The word Official is clear and that makes the difference.
