Tag whoever is misleading others and stop the indirect BS.

Some of us have tried it and it didn't work. Simple.

I repeat; Form A will take you months and still won't go through. Bank staffs will not tell you the truth with their useless CBN policy that is affecting Form A transfers.

You can give a trial by the way.

Oemmy:
I believe it is not fair to mislead someone, how can someone say form A does not work. Please take this from me form A actually work but it all depends on the experience of the bank staff processing the transaction

Nope.....Not yet.

Will leave next month

Hardefillar1:

Hey, you in PL already?
If yes, where??
Travel / Re: Polish Student Visa by neccki: 5:26pm On Jan 03, 2021
I told you already.

Look for someone in Europe to help you pay. Bank Form A or Dorms Account will not work too. It will take you months until you lose your admission. Stop wasting your time.

kc6964:

I have euro dorm account but a friend that work in bank said do to the new CBN policy alot have change that i might not be able to send to Europe with my euro dorm account unless if i have d debit card or something like that i forgot what he call d card before i can send from my dorm account here in Nigeria to Europe so everything have change do to the rate of scam and cbn new policy.... He said the best way to send money out of Nigeria is through bank wire..
Travel / Re: Polish Student Visa by neccki: 3:21pm On Jan 03, 2021
You can use anyone in Europe. Its faster that way. The school will receive it within a day.

If you know and trust the person, you can ask him to help you make the payment and send him the equivalent in Naira.

kc6964:

I don't have anyone in Poland for now unless a friend but his in Estonia so i don't know if that will work... They should be a way out

I know that school very well. You have to pay their Application Fee.

Sure, you can PM me

damtan:
What I have there says;
Recruitment fee : 0PLN
Balance : 0 PLN
If there was to be any payment, I expected to see the amount to pay.
Mind sending you the screenshot privately?
Travel / Re: Polish Student Visa by neccki: 1:51pm On Jan 03, 2021
Don't confuse yourself please.

You authenticate only at MoE and MoFA. While you Legalize at the Polish Embassy.

Cypapi:

gurus in the house plz how much is for legalization of Bsc certificate and can I legalize at MOF?
I have done authentication already
Thanks ✌✔️
Travel / Re: Polish Student Visa by neccki: 1:43pm On Jan 03, 2021
You saw 0 PLN or €0 because you have not yet paid the application fee. So they won't treat or consider your admission application until you pay the application fee.

So go to the admission requirements and search for the application fee and Bank Account where you're suppose to send your application fee to.

damtan:
Hello all.
I'm a little confused here. I applied into Wroclaw University of Science and Technology for February intake.
The application process seemed too short and easy and after submission, I thought there would be a recruitment fee to pay but I saw 0 PLN as fee to pay.
Ever since submission (which was about a week ago), I haven't heard anything about what's next.
Did I apply through the right portal? Who has previously applied Into Wroclaw University of Science and Technology?
Travel / Re: Polish Student Visa by neccki: 1:33pm On Jan 03, 2021
Don't use banks o, if you don't wonna regret it.

Better you find someone in EU to help you with the payment.

CBN policy has affected the usage of Form A transfers

kc6964:

Thanks alot . I know of someone that use zenith bank transfer and it took 2weeks before the school confirm d payment
Travel / Re: Polish Student Visa by neccki: 1:15pm On Jan 03, 2021
They mailed you to come and get your passport documents that you gave them for visa and you're here asking for what it means?

Sit down there.

Purehuman:
Please, I need a reply on my question. If you were sent a mail to come collect your passport before the date you stated that you want to travel, what does it mean?

My application is 1 month old now. I submitted all necessary documents and have been waiting. Emailed them severally and they respond by saying, I will get a decision next week. Next week has been promised to me on several occasions. Tried calling them, they won't pick up. The last time I rang their number twice, I received an SMS message from their number, asking me to send all enquires to their email address.
Anyone have such admission stress? Is it normal? 1month waiting is a damn long time to get ordinary admission. Any advice is appreciated...

Please did this Warsaw School of Computer Science later give you admission?

Well you have every right to say whatever you feel like.

But I only want to correct that impression of yours that because some people went to a Private school; They had a delay in getting Jobs. That's not True. The issue with that person has to do with what he has to offer and the course he or she studied not the school. In Poland they don't segregate on which school you obtain your degree
Tennyson18:
So a foreigner said he has quite a number of friends who finished before him and don't have jobs and still searching cause they went to private schools. Best pick, stick to the advice of people with experience.

Like I said. Own a skill that's in demand if you want a skilled Job and if you also looking for an unskilled job, you should be ready to get your hands and body to do the work.

Tennyson18:
Hello my friend, wsb University dabrowa cornigza it's even Academia wsb. & different from wsb Universities. The later is expensive while the former is cheaper. Please note this.

In terms of student jobs I said aim for big cities.

Yes having a skill will get you a job, but I'm making it general for the skilled & unskilled. Even people with skills still works at restaurants & delivery. In a case where there's no opening for a skilled worker, what choice does he have.
You should also note this is a total white country where you get to see a black person 1 in a 100 people if not more,.
I only gave my 2 cent based on the experience of people I've come across, you have your too, share and don't come and say I'm giving wrong info.
Everybody's story can't be the same, there's always two sides to a coin. That's life.
I won't paint something merry for people that have a low percentage probability in another man's country. Aim for the best expect the worst, so you can deal with it when it arrives.
Thank you.

Tennyson18:
If you follow the thread, people who are already in Poland advised we stick to cities with international exposure, (big cities). Why? Minimal rate of being played a racist card upon, well a good chance of getting a student job.
Now on the issue of graduate jobs and private schools I found out on YouTube they don't rate private schools except a popular few in Warsaw, I went through comments and saw some polish people agreed to it that they see private schools as high school standard. So a foreigner said he has quite a number of friends who finished before him and don't have jobs and still searching cause they went to private schools. Best pick, stick to the advice of people with experience.

That's a wrong info my friend. To get a job in Poland is dependent on your skills and what you have to offer. I know people who are currently schooling in private schools in Poland with IT & Programming skills and are earning even more than those who have graduated 3 years ago in a public school in Poland.

WSB Universities is a very good school. You will find Nigerians, Senegalese, Kenyan, Cameroonian etc in that school and they have campuses in almost every major city in Poland.

If you have skills such as Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Networking (IT) or Programming skill (C#, Java, Python, etc) then you have nothing to worry about. And those who don't have such skills but you can hustle without minding the nature of jobs like working in Mc Donalds, factories or Manufacturing companies then you also have nothing to worry about.

Don't be scared. WSB is a very good school with lots of Africans there.

Ok. I just want to know if Warsaw university of humanities uses agency in their admission process so I can proceed

What else do you want again after the school Authorities has directed you to an Agent. It's either you take the advice of the University of you look for another school that doesn't use an Agent.

Never knew First bank Naira credit card takes this long to process. This coming Monday will make it 5 weeks since my sponsor applied for one but the staffs keep posting us with the excuse that they're still waiting for approval from Lagos.
During my initial Polish visa application, it only took 7 working days for Access bank to process my Naira credit card.

But why did you use Access at first and then switch to First Bank again?

DoV is Free together with your Academic Documents.

But if you have let's say "Birth Certificate" or "Attestation of Age Document" which is not an Academic Document, you will be charged 13200 or 17500 respectively. So go along with cash, as they only collect cash at the Embassy.

Shercorp:
Please how much is DOV?

We are not completely out yet, besides the List is subject to monthly review; So we have to wait till next month ending for a review of the list of countries that can enter EU. Am sure, it will soon be lifted, worse case for student and other important categories of people.

mrrandomguy:

What is the implication for international student, especially now that the EU has excluded Nigeria from countries permitted to enter the Schengen? And we need visa to fully enroll.

YOu can visit MoE on Mondays and Wednesdays, while MoFA is any day of the week(Mondays - Fridays)

If you go early like 8am, am sure you will finish everything withing a day.

oppsonn:
Please, which day is the best day to visit MOE and MFA for Evaluation and Authentication? How many days do you think someone can sort everything?

It's better you book a date like now now.

Appointment date have been taken till August 20th. So quickly book for an appointment date ASAP

LA001:
Thanks for the feedback. I'll wait till I'm through with Legalization at the consulate.
Do you have an idea of how long it takes to complete the Legalization and DoV?

Travel / Re: Italian Student Visa-help! by neccki: 6:49am On Jun 24, 2020
COngratulations.

HAve you done your Authentication? If yes, then be patient till you're done with your Legalization at the Embassy before you book an appointment for VISA.

Don't blow your chances by applying for visa appointment until you find out that you're not ready for that phase. Just like the Embassy has said that There are limited slots so if you book and you miss you're date, you might not get another one.

LA001:
Hello everyone, I'm new here. I was awarded an Erasmus scholarship at Politecnico di Milano to begin in October.

I have been scheduled for an appointment for Legalization and Declaration of Value at the Consulate on 27th July 2020. Does anyone know how long it will take to get the DoV.

I was instructed to begin Visa processing as soon as possible. Can I book a Visa appointment now or should I wait until I get the DoV, proof of accommodation and health insurance?

Also, any other advice or recommendations will be most appreciated.
