20k a day is normal remittances in Lagos.

Back to the story, entitlement quickly enters things like this: that is why the brother was wise enough to have everything in write.

The elder brother choose the life he is living, 5 kids, was one of his choices. I would just advise the younger brother not to proceed and dash him any small money he can afford.

Business never even start elder brother is already feeling entitled to preferential treatment. Doesn’t he know if his younger brother is washing toilets in UK to earn his keep.

If the money was easily to make the elder brother should go and make his own money by himself
Na wah for you.

This is so belittling my goodness! He does not want to help his brother, he wants to do business and have his older brother as his worker, very wrong on many levels. If Keke business is entering his eyes, he should buy it and give it out to to a non relative or a younger relative.

not bad, dont be entitled to people money

na the brother say make em born 5 kids wey he no fit take care of

he should not give the brother any money

a brand new keke cost around 3.9m naira that is about (2,172.83 pounds) that is a huge chuck of money especially savings)

most family members are entitled and wont follow through with the agreement
Imagine your mentality, abi is it not family you are talking about, abi did you grow up in a polygamous home and even at that no be your sibling?

It’s better to give it to an outsider than his brother, or to reduce the weekly returns so that his brother can be comfortable too. Meanwhile the brother will make some money on the keke unless he’s lazy.

It’s a good business idea though
How much is the normal weekly delivery, any idea?
Family › Re: He Wants To Buy A Keke For His Elder Brother In Nigeria by nedekid: 5:33pm On Sep 11
Na wah, UK based people and their owu mentality. His own brother for that matter? 😳
Even if you want to recover the money why not give him good terms of repayment atleast less than the going rate so he knows his brother abroad helped him Eg if normal delivery is 100k weekly, make it 50k so he can improve his life and that of his family?
This uk guyman instead want to create a situation where his brother will default then he will come on this forum to tell the usual tales of how his bro in naija is so usless, he bought him Keke but he squandered it.
May all might not place us in the situation we have to rely on anybody for survival.

Mindlog:
So very wrong of her to do such.
What is wrong in what she did, did you hear the man complain?
That lady did not ridicule the man rather you should look at the broader picture. The lady said despite all the courses they did together ie their struggles in school, the man is now left to doing Okada business, did you also her here say she too wants to go and start POS business? Ie pos business to survive just as the man is doing Okada to survive also. Does that sound like someone who is looking down on her schoolmate?
The lady is complaining about situation of things in the country where after going to school you are then jobless and have to hustle to survive, that is what Nigerians should take from this instead of the usual negatives. People are already saying she is doing olosho.

Oga listen, i don't know u, i don't know ur lifestyle, but i must tell tell d truth, which is i and some guys wey i know have experienced this. This is really caused by excessive or extreme thinking, too much worrying and anxiety. It can lead to migraines. I don't know the medical terms or psychological terminology i can use to classify that sickness. I experienced this wen i came out from university and no job. I went to different hospitals. I took many medications both English and Herbal . Went to different churches. It was wen i meet my uncle who was a medical doctor at FMC Asaba, who evaluated me , i did some lab tests like malaria, typhoid, culture , Hiv , echo, ultrasound, checked all my organs, etc. Then ask me what am i thinking which i explained and later assist me in getting a job. Since then i managed myself and everything gone and same apply to those guys i know whom i told my ordeal. Another example is this smoking of a thing. One guy told me he stop smoking marijuana because any time he took it something will be moving around his head like moving sensation. Some people after smoking hemp they feel drowsy or tiredness while some will b alert or awake. Same applies in alcohol. But best is to quit or take once in while.
So the diagnosis was by "Owu" 😳
Anyway thank God for life.
Health › Re: Help! Moving Objects All Over My Body by nedekid: 1:38pm On Sep 10
Oga you have not been properly diagnosed. Nigerians will say they did test, what test did you do, they will say they sent to one medlab down the street.
Oga you will spend money to find out what is wrong with you. Tell your doctor to refer you to see a consultant at Lasuth, ensure to see the specialist Dr at CCU for private consultation (usually between 50-70k per consultation) then will you know you will did tests, that same Dr will refer you for consultations with other consultants, I assure you a diagnosis will be given. Forget all the rubbish about spiritual this or that as that tori is for people that cannot afford proper treatment.

Lots of people have graduated and not paying. Heaven never fall. Find another job
Guy you funny. Do they have NIN, Bvn? If they do, then they will pay either they like it or not. When gov is ready you will receive debut alert from all your accounts, once any new money enters your account it will disappear until full payment is made.
Go and find about what happened to those that got NASRI loans during covid. Guy last year I sent money to my wife's account for her birthday, by the time she woke up the next morning it had vanished, she thought it was fraud, only to find out is was covid loan from 5 years ago. The following day one my guy called to ask my wife is anything happened to her, lol. Apparently back then na me discover say them de give covid assistance, I applied, told my wife also my paddy, they all applied, guess what? They gave all of them, me weh introduce them no give, lol.
Anyway she told him what happened, say them debit her account. Guess what this guy's own was worse. For the past few years things has been rough for him, a buhari supporter and apc, someone who had 2 cars, lived fine etc, immediately buhari entered they sacked them, paid them off, na so hardship start.
Anyway back to today, he had finally gotten a client to pay him some upfront money to do some work, money he has been chasing for a while, money entered his account, he went to bed happy, by morning money don disappear, he actually said he used his fingers to spread his eyes like sabinus when he was focusing on his bank app in disbelief, he went to take water to wash his eyes to see well well, before he saw it was nasri load debit.

Meanwhile, they won't leave me alone with their exorbitant interest rates. You're better off borrowing from the bank or loan firms as opposed to these unregulated apps. It's just that many aren't willing to pay back their debt or are not eligible due to their bad decisions.
Problem Is which bank will give you other than the higher interest ones willing to take the risk knowing by culture, default Nigerians do not pay loans, you must drag them, only at the point of death do they pay.

Zenith bank account officer one told me they do not give out loans as a policy because they do not have the time to chase Nigerians for their money, lol.
I think it is a culture thing with Nigerian not to pay debt.

I know lots of people like you on this forum will form parapo, with talk in solidarity with you, but note that this is opay, your full details are there, one day one day you will get a debit alert in any bank account you have in naija.

Bros when my papa kpai, all the known deptors no pay, the unknown ones which we later found out all be Johnson. Even his relative he loaned 3m to clear his cars till now has not paid a dime even after selling one of the tok cars back then.
Omo that is life for you, your borrow person money just to flash for him account Eg for embassy runs, just pray say him no kpai if not otilo.
Many years ago in our adugbo, there was this rich dude, his friend ask for assistance to buy a particular car, the man asked how much he had, the man said 40% of the amount, the man said he should pay it into his account that he will top the balance and send to their mutual car dealer friend. Omo, this man later in the day sat on his toilet and the seat collapsed piercing his butt cheek, from there to hospital, Omo the man never recovered and kpai!
After sometime the friend came to meet the wife that he had so so and so millions in the husband's account, madam waved it off. Despite all the appeals the woman no gree. It got to a stage police got involved and came to "invite"
her, na that day everybody for adugbo hear the whole story. If you hear how this woman de shout for street say she be widow and them de use police harass her, she call for all those the late hubby was owing to show once and for all for settlement, guess the settlement? Say she Wan carry them go burial ground make them go collect the money for him grave, lol. Even adugbo people just the look the creditor any how say na widow you come harass with police untop money, your late friend wife? Shame catch the man, he left that money under duress till date.

Richtaiwo:
Clearly, most students who are not beneficiaries have little reason to apply. The programme is specifically designed for indigent students who cannot afford the required education levies.

Yet someone up there is screaming scam based on the video. Some people actually have their brains turned upside down. Little wonder some still support a packaged fraud despite his abysmal record as governor and the incoherence that now define his public commentary.
Yeah, pile up igbese linked to your Nin when you are not even guaranteed steady income after graduation.
How much did the current political class pay as school fees assuming it was not free? Did government raise fees and burdened them with loans? They have enjoyed their time then ruined the country then want to pass in their incompetence and failures to the current generation. What are youths suppose to say they have gained from Nigeria? What is the benefit of the oil and natural wealth of the country to them, what advantage has being Nigerian given them in a competitive world?
Is it Healthcare, good roads, transportation, social benefits, security nko? Instead of free or affordable education which should be the responsibility of any forward thinking government that knows ignorance and mediocrity will be too costly for the future of the country, the government now wants to burden the students with not just substandard education but with a debt burden too. Oga the government is passing on their responsibility to the students.
As you people always say Tinubu is the father of the nation abi? So you as a father that should educate your kids, send them to school, instead of you to pay their school fees, you then create a company or or make a deal with sokoloan, opay tell them to give your child loan to pay his school fees and that your son is they one that will be responsible for the repayment not you, your pikin ohh..
