Next thing is to enter town and be shouting money na wataa, be flexing up and down claiming grace, move around with convoy and oppress village people when visiting his mansion in his community (according to Fayose). The latest one is to join city boys, a gang of people without traceable wealth, all dodgy. They will say they run night club, eatery, hotel, car wash etc, all the classic money laundry platforms.
Christianity Etc › Re: Can You Gift Your Pastor A Car, Even Though You Have None? by nedekid:
buygala:
My uncle did this sometimes in the 2000s

I, his wife, his kids, their nanny and him went to church on one normal Sunday in the car he just bought after practicing law for 10 years..

Next thing we knew, while the Pastor was preaching, he went to the church alter and dropped the car papers and key...

We were all in disbelief even when we took a bus home that day grin...All through this, his wife never said a word...Obviously he did not discuss with her whether or not he should pull such stunt before he did grin

Next day, we see the Pastor's kid driving some girls in the car at Tantalizers at Allen avenue..

Long story short, his wife divorced him less than 2 months later and he has no car till now..

All this was as far back as 2002..

Na why till now once I hear a Pastor say "If God had laid it in your heart to give"...., I immediately hold my belongings tightly to avoid being spiritually pick-pocketed grin
Lol, Omo, I heard of a woman that did the same back in the 2000s, brand new land cruiser she just got, the preaching sweet her belle so much she did not know when the spirit moved her, na so pastor say make them sow seed, people were dropping car keys, mummy go follow drop keys. Omo, by the time she got home her eyes don clear, her kids heard what happened, got the spare keys, stormed the church premises, entered the suv and drove off with it sharp sharp. That was how she got her car back.

One thing I have seen after some time on this world

After 3 4 5 children the man sends them to school and they graduated
The man usually kpai before 70 if he is lucky
Often earlier
The grown up children live happily with their mother who will live well into her 70s or 80s. Enjoying HER children
That is why as a man you should enjoy yourself while you still can. Dont kill yourself onto anyone's wahala because once you are gone everyone moves on.

In short just be a good boy and tow the line, follow the status quo, be a rubber stamp.
Abeg it seems naija is not worth fighting for (unless you don't want to have a knife in the national cake according to the op).
Funny thing is that the people you are trying to make the country a better place for are those who castigate you. See Natasha challenging the rubber stamp, asking critical questions and demanding accountability, she is the one the op is calling confrontational. I guess it will be better for her to sit in the chamber, ministers and other officials water the ground before coming to committee meeting, they are asked paddy paddy questions and after, every one lives happy, Natasha has some dollars in hand, the official is free to go continue doing as he likes.

Just don't see marriage as an achievement.
Everybody think because I'm doing okay, I have my own business, a car, and living comfortably at 35. Then, the next thing must be marriage.

Marriage is good, but, it feels like gambling to me, I may marry now, and not be as happy as I am now.

But, I'm still praying to God to give me someone I can be happy with, not all these runs girls that are everywhere.
No need to be in hurry, wait another 10 years before considering marriage, if by 45 you still feel as you do today, wait till you are 55 jare, nothing do you. Atleast you can do father of the day to kids of your peers when they are all getting married.

Politics › Re: Nigerian Lady Shows Off Ramadan Package From President Tinubu(photos/video) by nedekid: 1:12am On Feb 20
This woman reminds me of basic animals, the first thing they think of is stomach, ie food, meet a lion, a fox, dog etc the first instinct is are you eatable. When people are reduced to the basics, all is deprived from them, the basic instinct is food.
Look at oyinbo from a well to to country, they eat little or just enough to savor and sustain the body, look at black man from poor country, when you see the plate of eba or fufu you stare in amazement how that could fit in someone's stomach.
We saw the lady that refused the russian in ghana while others fell, that lady was the one about to drive off in a big jaguar car, ie she is not from a poor background. Meanwhile all the other ladies lacking, in poverty were all rubbished by the russian man.
This lady in the video is either of two things, she is a data girl, a keyboard 30k worrior and they are staging propaganda, or she is one of those Nigerians so immerced in poverty all her basic instinct like those animals in the wild, is what will enter her stomach.

the only thing tinubu can do to make u happy is to hand over to ur candidate,,, u guys have no interest in d growth of nigeria,,u just want ur guy in power
Guy, who do you know is my candidate? For all I care aki and pawpaw, even Mc oluomo can be President as far as the right thing is done. What has "Oga at the top" done so far for you, has he made your life better? Raise your hands and swear to God your life is better. What is wrong with you? Abi you do not know you have been made poor under this government? Oga step outside the shores of the country and spend money, then you will know you are now poor. You do not need to fly far as I am currently doing, just cross to Benin republic. Oga I was here when Jonathan was president if I eat £20 food it was N5k, during buharis time, it was N11,200 at CBN (personal travel allowance rate) or 17k black market rate.
Now under this man it is 40k!
Yes, £20, is 40k! Bros how much is your salary, let me calculate it for you in ££, maybe then you will realize what you do not know, we have been made poor by him!.
I do not what to know the politics, I do not give a Bleep, what concerns me is how my finances, standard of living is affected, are you a child not to realize this? We were saying buhari regime was bad, yet I remember entering shoprite at maryland and seeing a brand new Honda accord sedan displayed inside the mall, the price tag was 11m, new not tokumbo, I remember telling my wife that car use to be 6m recently and blaming buhari for making Nigerians poor, but atleast we could still afford 11m, you could even get financing to spread the payment. Oga today under this government, that same car is now 100m! You personally, can you afford 100m for a car? I cannot, even if you find a bank to finance it, can you pay Eg 4m per month to finance the car? First time in history of naija where banks are not buying brand new cars, even tokumbo they are not buying as official vehicles!
Today in the news south Africa has a half trillion dollar economy and 1st in Africa (a position Nigeria held until he took over), Egypt is number 2 with 400b while naija comes 3rd with 240b+ economy. Oga if you do not know, it is dangote refinary holding the economic stability of the country.
If this man had entered and the country had seen serious improvement, will anyone complain? Abi how much do you use personally to buy medicine, my BP medication Xfordge that was 7.5k is now 50k for the same 28 pills, zeralto that was 8k for 14 pills is now 35k ie for 1 month it is 70k!, then you have the audacity to tell me that nothing he will do other than to hand over to "my cadidate"? What kind of mumu and petty talk is that? Abi you think you are talking to one of those kids on this forum?
Let the man return the economy to a better state than he met it then we will praise him, we are not stupid and daft to see someone take away our purchasing power, our standard of living, break the record of plunging the most people into poverty world wide, then support him because he is Eg your tribesman.
Abi tell me how your life has become better under this regime, OK you have coastal road leading to your village, you now have 24hr light, you have more valuable and not worthless cash in your account, you now have better security etc?
For all we know you might even be an abroadian not resident in the country.

today nigerias reserve hits $48.9b.. d highest since 2013 when crude oil last sold at over $100/barrel
So why not pay the igbese and stop borrowing? How can you claim you have reserves yet still taking igbese? And people should not bring the stupid argument say big man de owe.
Reminds me of people that will be throwing heavy party, call wasiu and be spraying bundles of money, meanwhile they are owing sokoloan, okash etc.
No be so one Oga go buy airliner as presidential jet, meanwhile president of world Bank you take igbese from no de use that kind aircraft.
Politics › Re: High Cost Of Operation Of Presidential Air Fleet Due To Servicing Abroad - NSA by nedekid: 10:21am On Feb 19
How wount it be expensive when No1 is using an airliner as presidential jet. The BBJ he rejected as being old is the same air craft the president of a by far richer African country South Africa is using, funny thing is that the SA air planes is years older than the one baba termed old.
Nigeria airways does not own 1 aircraft, imagine Oga using airliner air France uses to fly over 300 passangers as his presidential jet. Giant of Africa only in mouth not in deed.

After 2020, everything in Nigeria doubled in price. Paid 34k for tuition, now it's 100k+
100k? Just £50 or $70?
Even in naija context that is quite a low amount for university education. Oga medicine in babcock is over 10m per session, law is 3.3m with 2 ice daily feeding for final year students, for 100l it is likely 2ice that amount.
How much is the cheapest private nursery school in Lagos that you want to pay 100k for a whole university education?

How is this a Police business if it's not Rape! What will the randy gym man be charged with? Complete waste of time and an abuse of Police time
And what is it is rape or what if the girl is below 18?
Even if she is over 18 she still holds some cards, she can allege she visited him and he raped her the first time.
Truth of the matter is that if one is a father and has daughters moreso a first daughter you will be emotional if such happens more so with a boy with dreadlocks looking like he has no future. Ofcouse blame should also be on the daughter.
There is how the father would have met the young man and from his looks, manarism, background, he would have said OK, I am angry but let's work it out.

Also did you see the car she was about entering? The big jaguar, that lady and her sister are not poor people that will trip over a white guy from Russia they are probably richer than.
