Some time last year, my mother in law was visiting. I was very sceptical of her taking food stuffs along cos she get one pikin wey get as him dey. Make dem no go conceal drugs for her luggage. I hope this is investigated.
Don't even try it, make them no go put "cargo" for your inlaw to carry.

Hmmmmm...
People eh...
Chai!
Na wa.

Why not let the old man enjoy his old age in Nigeria in peace!
Enticing him with vacation in obodo oyibo just to ask him to help you carry "foodstuffs" to your sister in the UK?
"Foodstuffs" that turned out to be coke!
It will never be well with you, okonkwo!
Bros about 15 years ago, my mama de travel go UK, I stopped by to visit, one of our former neighbors, a recently retired customs officer was there with certain items she wanted my mama to take to her kids abroad, my mama was already packing them to load in her luggage for the trip later that might. Omo, I called my mum aside and asked what she was doing, abi she does not realize the implications of carrying stuff for people? The lady customs officer even should know better than to approach someone to carry stuff for her. Mumsi was still arguing that the officer na friend for neighborhood. Vex catch me, I went streight to the woman and told her that sorry ohh, my mama no de carry, say make she no vex. I made sure the woman left with her stuff, waited until mumsi left for the airport.
Now imagine if that customs officer woman had put drugs in that package and given my mum to take to UK and she was stopped abroad, how would she have explained, even if she did who will believe her? They will say no wonder them get money weh no de finish, say na baba seyi former business them de do.

Whether they pay was high or low depends on the period. There was a time that 20 naira was greater than 5 million naira of today.

Added:
Toxic and depressed people who look for every slight opportunity to attack their fellow human beings are attacking me as if I said something bad here. I do not have all the day to spend on this forum, that was why I did not pay attention to all the details on the posted pay slip. I simply said that whether the pay was good or poor depends on the period he earned the amount. Why not simply tell me that the pay was in 2024? Why are you quoting and attacking me as if I have said that the pay is good in 2024?
Oga for the last 10 years that salary is nothing for a PhD level person. Don't find excuses or try to reason rubbish, that money is crap for a place like covenant. If a PhD earns that little what then will cleaners etc earn? What that not the organization that gave a staff 30k after 20+ years of service? Church is like police, they only take from you ie it flows one way.

This is disgusting and hard to believe. Covenant University is very expensive though so what are they doing with all that money

A PhD on 100k salary Wtf. Is it not better to drive korope.

Daddy Oyedepo if this is true I beg you to reconsider you ways. Remember Jeremiah 22:13
What they do with the money? To build 1m capacity church, to find lifestyle and to leave billions in assets for their pikins, same applies to the other baba on ibadan Expressway with that his son with a big ass like a woman, join with leg from excess weight.
Them go serve baba and also serve him pikin.

You guys on the side of terrorism, just know that you're not safe wherever you are. Have you sat down to reflect, if there was no terrorism propelled by one hopeless rel1g1on, do you think there would have been any need for all of this? Where is your humanity when you can't think and align with what is just and right for this world?
Don't be silly, you are not talking to your fellow brainwashed slave black Africans. Stick to stories you understan Eg Tinubu VS Atiku, Obi chop money, Yoruba VS igbo and the other rants you guys make in this forum.

There was a country... But, in it all; we will be fime!!!
That is what we have been saying from time immemorial ie it will be fine with time. Oga nothing is getting fine with time only worse right from the 70s till today(at least that is my time frame so far).
Now to finish everything the country is now a one party state with a monarchy and you think it will get better? Area boys, agberos, thugs etc have been empowered and now the role model for youths, the people they look up to, mediocrity has taken over since elections don't count, if not how can opeboholo will elections over the former NBA chairman or ighodalo, both men of class, people that have excelled in the legal profession? How can a stack illiterate preside over the affairs of a state known for prominence in academia and all facets of life? Look at the caliber of people ruling the country, from the boss that was ridiculed during the aljazeera interview to the Bwala fellow who displayed his foolishness on the international stage. Look at the minister of power, building mansion worth billions, living large, taking titles and possibly more wives meanwhile electricity is so bad it could be called non existent. Is electricity better than last year or worse, is it better than 5 years ago or worse? Name just 1 sector that is doing well, even naira they said was appreciating today it is back to over 1400.

Politics › Re: “Nigeria Should Be Making Money From Iran War” — Sowore Blasts Tinubu, Dangote by nedekid: 12:13pm On Mar 11
datola:
Yes, the government is making more money from the war.

The problem is fuel price is determined by crude oil price. It is an international thing. That's why the price has jumped up in most parts of the world.

It is like that except the government intervened in some ways internally.
OK, so why is naira not appreciated but rather depreciating despite the extra earnings from crude. Russia and other oil producing countries are rubbing their belle with joy.

Lol.. mr ignorant & mischievous “comrade” everything to you is APC, PDP! Such a shame

Just to inform you Ghana is very expensive! I had two friends relocated from there.. they complained things being costly.
If you go to neighboring countries as a Nigerian today everything will be expensive for you, same applies to traveling abroad, things you use to easily buy before now you have to think twice. Before you go to shops like next, marks and Spencer, John Lewis etc, as our purchasing powers started getting bad, Nigerians started visiting primack etc, today under this crazy man and his son, Nigerians cannot even afford primark again, it is poundland pepco they are managing. Abi how will you buy an ordinary shirt for £30-50? Yes before no problem but today with exchange rate of 2k to £1, does it make sense to buy an ordinary shirt for N100k?

You get sense like this? Shey he killed somebody wey you know abi he collected government contract without doing the job?
Seems you young folks have lost all sense of morals, what is righ or wrong. Someone post copyrighted content on his platform for sale or even if it was for free, people's intellectual property and you do not realize it is theft, criminality of the highest order? Someone spends millions shooting a movie and expects to get his money back through cinema views, through streams, sites where you can pay and download, then one halfwit criminal goes to create a site, post those movies for free and makes the money those movie producers, musicians etc should make and you do not know it is criminal?

Atleast thank God he did not claim it was not him in the interview but rather AI.

What exactly is going on ?

Is this how dangote will determine the destiny of an entire nation?

Where is Tinubu and the entire presidency team? Why are they quiet?

What is going on?
APC ate all the trillions used to fix imaginary refinaries. Shebi those psychopaths were here defending those that said refinaries were working, they even went as far as insulting obasanjo. Presidency should sell petrol from nnpc owned refinaries to compete with dangote and crash the price.
