this man called Peter Obi is as primitive as anything... after solid 8 years of your regime you couldn't build standard road with at list pedestrian walk way and traffic light.. now look at the way you are walking like an abandoned fellow on a well paved dual standard road of lagos.. if is in Onitsha or Awka Come and see gullible Okada riders and traders flocking around him shouting Okwute Ndi Ibo... I know your praise singers will still come here to rant like a break away tout to make you look important.. too shameful to be frank..

Even when I registered my National population commission (NPC), what they recommended was Ibo... We should stop making it look like something else abeg. Ask wiki..... if you trace back to1745-97 during the days of equiano olaudah, it was called Eboes later metamorphosed to Ibo/igbo. all na same thing and attacking people with that is uncalled for....even here the Oyibos, etches, egbemas are all comfortable with the tag Ibo, and nobody blink an eyes on whether ibo or igbo is except our brothers from the east go dey complain....na wa oh!

gcamara:

Speak what u know, i live in aba and we aba boys massively vote for alex otti. But was robed by t a orji and co, besides all the roads his doing non of the is more than ten poles, and the worst of it all is that all the work he is doing non of them leads to a major road that will aid to the economical improvement of the city. Take for example porthacourt road in aba, azumini, ohanku. Ariaria okwu mango. Etc. All this road is a major road that needs urgent attention that if being done will boost aba city and it business. But rather he abandon them to be doing small small streets that cant have any impart in our life and business.. .

Okay, but you've known that Good Governance is a continuous process... he is just few months old on that seat and yet trying, not withstanding the Economic situation of Nija. as God may have it Alex didn't emerge and Ikepazu did and he is Good, why cant we move on? but what if APGA guy gets worst?? ... well na una sabi sha!!!!

Aba is noting to right home about, but the guy is tidying it up..... everybody is suprise at the way work is going simultaneously on Road, drainage and infrastructure... they haven't witness this before and you want APGA man to abandon it? this is going forth and back to me.... abeg make una leave Gov Ikeazu to work.....

You know when these folks discover something, they eventfully over use it.
They've just discovered street protest as a tool for showing disaffection, soon you will see them doing street protests if government lock up any of their markets.
When we did the June 12 and fuel subsidy protests, it was a phenomenon that was completely strange to them.

why are you guys so Bitter and emotional at any issue relating to this people? you end up spewing rubbish without even addressing the subject matter... perhaps, am not from Abia state, i have not been there before.. but with what i have seen so far (pictorially), i think the present Governor is working assiduously. i presume that's why they are protesting because they don't want to go back to the days of Orjis... no Governor in the History of Abia state has ever built a standard road and underground drainage and cover it up as shown on this pictures.......... to me i don't know what Alex Otti the APGA guy is up to. he might be worst than Orji, probably abandon the present Govt project.... APGA people are know for parading around with Rooster and Ojukwu's picture on their wears going about doing nothing......i don't like this new development.. Gov Ikepezu should go to Supreme court jare..

i must commend you guys for the new blog created, because i see a lot of 10 yrs ban on NL threads as complained by one niaralander for airing his view on Ibo/politics forum... i think i found this BR interesting and supersede NL features you wont miss while you retain your NL account if you wish like me........ i don't like seeing where some set of people would be singled out for oppression/obliteration at this Tech age. so help create enough awareness on this BR forum...

Levelszik i understand how you feel. but i suggest IPOB gurus in ITC should creat an alternative forum like www.B!afraland.com with that of niaraland features. you guys should get it right and see the Ewedus scramping on the forum to read what you are up to.. that www.Alab!afra.com sounds too native like Ibo thing alone. it should be a national conversation forum for other ethnic to feel among in your B!afran quest.. as for me, i no go anywhere.Seun no fit pursue me commot niaraland for wetin nah.

Science/Technology / Re: How The Dream Of First African Car Z-600 Of Nigerian Extraction Died.(photos) by Nedu09(m): 2:53pm On Dec 08, 2015
philchudi:
In 1997, a brilliant Igbo Electrical Engineer and Lecturer at the Federal polytechnic Nekede, Dr. Ezekiel Izogu designed and developed the Izuogu Z-600, the first African indigenous manufactured car.
The car was described by the BBC as ‘ the African dream machine’ as 90% of its parts were sourced locally . At a projected sales cost of 2000 dollars, it would have taken the world by storm and become the cheapest and most affordable car on earth. With mass production planned under Izogu Motors plant in Naze owerri, the prospects of an industrial revolution in Igbo land and Nigeria, was in the making.
The car was equipped with a self made 1.8L four cylinder engine that got 18mpg and allowedthe car to achieve a top speed of 140 km/h. Front Wheel Drive (FWD) was chosen over Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) because a transmission tunnel, which RWD would require, would be more expensive to fabricate.
So 90% of the car’s components were made locally. General Sani Abacha set up a 12 man panel of inquiry made up of professionals to ascertain the road worthiness and authenticity of the car and after several days of probing, the committee gave Dr. Izuogu’s car a clean bill of health recommending that some of the bumps on the body of the car be smoothened. It is worthy to note that this was five years before India built their first car known as the Indi.
At a well organized unveiling ceremony which had General Abacha represented by Oladipo Diya, over 20 foreign ambassadors and thousands of people in attendance, the federal government promised a grant of 235 million naira to Dr.Izuogu.
An excited Dr Izuogu is still waiting for that grant till today. No dime was released to him. In 2006, th monetary terms, but also time (about 10 years) and the energy it took to design and produce the moulds. “To worsen the matter, our design notebook was also stolen,” he stated.
He regarded the incident as a national economic disaster because the nation had lost a technological and intellectual property. This Press was quiet about this story. The set back and governments attitude frustrated Izuogu and his dream died.
. You should have uploaded the picture of the car.

FROM MY PERSPECTIVE, I THINK THE RESURRECTION OF BIAFRA DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH JONA OR PDP....I THINK IS ABOUT BUHARI'S HAND ON MURDER OF MILLIONS OF THERE LOVED ONE. SECONDLY THEY DON'T BUY THE IDEA OF AN AN ILLITERATE/PEDOPHILE RULE OVER THEM, WHEN WE HAVE YOUNG GRADUATES THAT CAN BE A BETTER LEADER.......

Stop being wimps and come lets join hands together and build our nation. Direct the protest at the elites that have held the poor masses to bondage. Biafran wouldn't change that.
