Chei!! See warfare on a ketro level. I love my Nl peeps... smiley

OP, tough question. If he's born again and he likes sex AND he's not a hypocrite, then you should be good. But if he's a learner and you start with some advanced 'moves' the guy might release in 20 seconds and start caling you a sinner to hide his embarrassment.

At the same time, these guys have a point; no one here is your mum or dad, but if you've decided to take that walk with Jesus....maybe you guys should wait till marriage. Good luck!

You people won't learn......Choose someone because of merit, because of talent - no oooo, you must use famsing as a criteria. Today football and nationalism, tomorrow, a continuation of Politics and tribalism.

Go and sleep jare! The best man won. All you so-called football analysts, go and hide.

HealthRe: Nigerian Meals That Kills Body Fat by Negation: 6:19pm On Jan 09, 2014
Nice list OP!

I'm not a scientist, only a hobbyist nutritionalist, but here's my take:

1.) Green Plantain - try making 'swallow' with this, then knack it with egusi/veg.... tongue Incredible! (Almost certain it burns fats - experience)
2.) Lemon - Used in fruit fasts with celebs who usually need to look smaller in a matter of weeks
3.) Red & Green pepper - I know this does a lot of good for the skin, especially when juiced.
4.) Water melon - Not sure about this one. Then again, Google 'Watermelon AND weight loss'...
5.) Ginger - It works by improving metabolism and improving digestion.
6.) Beans - Protein - 'Nuff said.
7.) I can't really cosign Soy beans...it might be a personally thing, but soy......nah.
8.) Grapes - again used with fruit fasting
9.) Nuts - Protein food, but be careful with how much you take (almonds are great for the body).
11.) Sea food - Protein plus water nutrients = hit.
12.) Olive oil - Healthy oils. Contrary to what’s being passed around, eating fats doesn't necessarily make one fat; it depends on the type of fat, some are actually very very good for the body. Mediterranean cultures OD on olive oil - check out their health stats
13.) Onion & Garlic - Super useful 'herbs', especially garlic. Some people take raw garlic and water to lose weight (fast). Garlic does a lot of good stuff.
14.) Again, can't really cosign wheat and oat based food. Grains.
16.) Don't have too much experience with this - I only take it when I've OD on sugary foods/drinks, but it's meant to be a natural weight loss food.

Avocados and egg yolks are also good fats (old school nutritional science has ostracized the latter in the name of cholesterol, but they're catching up. Additionally, good fats work by filling up the stomach with less).

I'd suggest fish oil (i.e., Cod liver oil) as well.
SportsRe: 2013 Glo-CAF Awards by Negation:
Interesting stats from Squaka.com:

2012/13

Mikel - Yaya

Performance score: 586 - 1688
Avg shot accuracy : 0% - 45%
Avg pass accuracy: 89% - 89%
Avg pass length: 17m - 17m
Chances created: 7 - 45
Avg duels won: 53% - 54%
Avg def actions: 3 - 2
Total def errors: 1 - 2
Total goals: 0 - 7

2013/14

Mikel - Yaya

Performance score: 179 - 677
Avg shot accuracy 33% - 52%
Avg pass accuracy: 90% - 90%
Avg pass length: 19m - 17m
Chances created: 5 - 22
Avg duels won: 48% - 42%
Avg def actions: 3 - 2
Total def errors: 0 - 1
Total goals: 1 - 10

That's for the PL, btw

These are the only international stats I have:
(Courtesy of goal.com)

AFCON

Mikel - Yaya
Games: 6 - 3
Goals: 1 - 2
Assists: 3 - 1

Bear in mind that Mikel is a DM/deep lying playmaker for Chelsea and is plays with more freedom (probably higher up the pitch) for Nigeria. Yaya is a box to box midfielder.
Also, Mikel won the Europa league and AFCON with Chelsea and The Super Eagles respectively in 2013. Yaya didn't win any trophies but won the 2013 BBC african footballer of the year award.
SportsRe: 2013 Glo-CAF Awards by Negation: 3:32pm On Jan 09, 2014
good luck to all 3 candidates, very tasty lineup. Mikel is my favourite Nigerian player, but Toure is my favourite player while Drogba is the true son of Africa( and one of my top 5 strikers).

You can get attacked in these threads by the tribalists/nationalists, but hey, only a stupid fish tries to fight the current of the ocean. It's a Nigerian site, I guess few in CIV would support anyone other than their own.

PoliticsRe: Stella Oduah's CV Released By Senate by Negation: 1:53pm On Jan 09, 2014
I must be so naïve, cos I don't get it; how can people be supporting ministers like people support football teams, loyal to the point of stupidity? People who enter office, chop chop chop and leave?

And this case still has legs - Her profile on the MOA website still has her down as having a masters degree. I guess Yoruba people own that website too. This case is so simple that an intelligent person should laugh until he/she cries: The press of any country should exist to ensure that the integrity of their public servants are always stellar (hehe) and their people are kept aware of issues that are in their collective interest. A minister lying about their qualifications (and buying bulletproof whips) is in our interest. Now if an investigation is launched and SR (as well as other media outlets) are found to be rotten liars, then deal with them!!! However, if the Minister is found to be guilty of the allegations....

Why is this way of thinking so difficult? Are we not trying to be a modern country? Or should we just stick to gossiping and dancing about who has made their next billion?

People should read Achebe's 'A man of the people' or 'The trouble with Nigeria'. It's amazing to see that a lot of our issues have not been sorted out.
PoliticsRe: Stella Oduah's CV Released By Senate by Negation: 1:00pm On Jan 09, 2014
Seun? moderators?

Where on earth are you?! Are you going to let NL descend into the sewers? Or you guys are not picking up these tribal insults?? Or is this a 'all controversy is good controversy' protocol?

What we would never allow another race to say about a black person, you are letting these low blows go unchecked? Wow. I can tell you for a fact that people are picking up a lot of tribalist sentiment from your site, is that what you want as part of your legacy?

Look at these dogs running around with faulty facts and very little analytical skills. I bet these people also spend their time using Wikipedia to find out if 'their' Jesus was yoruba, Igbo or delta. May the spirit of KKK/NF torture you in your sleep tonight. Twats.

You guys are funny! Why is the guy gay? Not all men are dogs.

OP, sin or not, if you are not in love with your man, dump him and advice your bestie to do the same with his girl. And if you love your man, end this 419 friendship tonight even.

Anything else, and you and your BFF are being a little selfish. Unless you wouldn't mind your man shacking up with some hottie, giving her massages and getting major boners while you think he's at bible class.

Pitshure that.
PoliticsRe: Stella Oduah Lied About Her MBA Degree - Sahara Reporters by Negation: 12:02am On Jan 08, 2014
A minister caught in 2 scandals and people are talking tribe this and tribe that.
Amazing.

This is not just about claiming or not claiming she went to a particular school, this is about whether she even has the master's degree. What would it cost to straighten out the allegations? Is she not a public servant? If this happened in the UK do you think the MP would be forming def jam? Even Obama had to produce documents quick quick when it was claimed that he wasn't american.

But over in Nigeria, we can always rely on allegations of tribalism (going both ways) and the ineptness of those that are meant to be acting in the publics interest to gobble up serious issues.

Anyway, in the name of positivity, let me take the time to hail my pastor, a man who wouldn't make it on such a list, even if the list had 500 names. He is a wonderful man of God, a PhD holder who created his wealth through working hard for it. He pays the other pastors and church related- expenses with church money and I've never seen him give extra prayer to big tithers. I'm always amazed and honoured by his humility and wisdom. God bless you, sir!

Hot and intelligent Mz. Adichie can do no wrong with me. In the end, whether her hairstyle looks good or not - and it does look good - I'm happy that somebody is out there giving the young girls another view to look at, like 'here is someone who likes wearing the hair God gave her'. Balance is important.

ejirob: I don't like talking about pastors and I don't like criticising wealth. Riches is god plan for his children, he doesn't want us poor, desolate, broke or sick. Whatever u know u like and want don't criticise. Hear me out before u talk. When I was growing up in a baptist church in the 80s there was dis man in our church who did not believe in miracle, to him miracle ended in d days of jesus and he didn't even believe in negative spiritual forces. To him all does talk and sermon on them is useless, lies and fake.
Ejirob you sound like a good dude and I hear you. But your comment sounds Nollywood-ish.

All these fear-fear stories, nobody is meant to question the system. Just shut up and wait 'your turn' mentality.

There is a passion behind the criticising- for me, I want my people to get up and start making things happen for themselves and others. The people who passively depended on ATR have just swapped that with passively waiting on God. The day I went to a seminar and I was taught to get rid of a headache through visualisation was the day I realised that we are too much like babies when it comes to God.
Christianity EtcRe: Top 10 Richest Pastors In The World by Negation: 3:28pm On Jan 07, 2014
And don't get me wrong- there is nothing wrong with being rich (although in Pauls time, there seemed to be a clear demarcation line between the rich and the Christians who preached), but being stupidly rich when the poorest member of your church might not have eaten that Sunday?? After all, if you are poor and your pastor is rich, should that not be a connection that was set up by God ( for him/her to help you)?

Nope!!! Cos your pastor will tell you that God blessed him with his own money and that you should go and wait for your own. But please don't forget to tithe and pay offering. And thanksgiving offering.....
