So when will his scorecard be available for our review and give feedback on his performance? |
Anioma will be created to include the following lands and its people. If that's not possible, we will influence efforts in the center to kill any dream of an ANIOMA state. "Investigations conducted revealed that Ugbodu is not the only community where Oluku mi is spoken in Aniocha North Local Government as the language is also spoken in Ukwu-Nzu (Eko Efun), Ubulubu and Ogodo" |
@tpia, The people themselves have declared who they are and what their intention is. Are you sure they are not Yoruba? We don't say Ijebus are not Yorubas or the Ijeshas or the Aworis are not Yoruba. Lukumi is their dialect under the Yoruba nation. Go to FB and type "ugbodu" in search or "lukumi" |
Oh Eze, they are Yoruba by self will, not by any cajoling. What does that say about you people? They lived there for centuries and refused to give up their pride, in fact rejected neighboring pressure. They don't mind communicating in your language, their destiny is not Igbo. I have counted online over 10 different settlers say you are the wrong choice. We will vote you out of Nigeria. |
Go to Facebook and type keyword "olukumi" or "ugboda" |
Finally the Sun will rise and set on Yorubaland. West to East, the Oodua flag will be seen in the sky. |
Oh that reminds me! Agbotaen, an Ika prince and heir eligible to the Ika throne, has expressed the desire of his people to remain non-Bini and vehemently non-Igbo. In which case, Eze, Ika by joining Anioma will be given same accord as Ogbuda and in equity with other indigenes of the proposed state. Let me know if you find that complementary to your desire for Anioma? |
2mch, Please when talking bout Igbo states Imo is a joke. Only time its worth mention is when it is putting on a show, like criminals that operate baby factories for human trafficking, fulani rampaging and romping thru town, I'm not shocked they got a comedian for state position. |
EzeUche: I think the majority of Igbos support an Anioma state. Eze, same on our side here. We are not doubtful of your generosity and compassiion to handle the affairs of our brethren as you would yours. What do yiu need to secure our support at the center and make this a reality? |
Belten, we are not asking for Igbo spelling of Yoruba names or terms. |
Alj, these people are not dumb, they go after Ika and Ikwerre but want to claim Anioma too without Lukumi ppl. Everytime they talk Anioma their sense of pride is roused in what Nzeogwu did by selectively killing of Western and Northern leaders. They love him for that and by all means they don't want his birth place to go because his spirit is one with ther cause and destiny. But yet they don't want to admit that, that single actionm by Nzeogwu is the result of what they are going thru today. They attribute to an isolated act of few soldiers. If it were so, then Nzeogwu or his land belong in Delta, not SE. |
I'm still waiting on ideas, anyone got proposals on the number of LGs? |
Anyway, so how do we want to designate the new state and how many LGs do we propose for it? |
If they were in the package for campaign to get ANIOMA, then they shall be in the fulfillment of the state as well. They are not going anywhere and there is nothing you can do to them. Try anything and you will be joining your people in CAfrica |
In which case we will have footprint in SE. I like that guys! |
Chyz, fyi, Aniocha will be part and parcel of Anioma and with Northern parts intact. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=717097.0;wap2 |
Is Aniocha part of Anioma? |
The people of Ugboda in Aniocha North LG have defined their culture and language as Yoruba. Our eyes are over that territory. |
I suggest he start a trade experiment with the people home from Maiduguri. Incent them to abandon the Maiduguri market and open trade at home. |
<quote> Negro_ntns: "Nri is the connecting dot that ties all together for the Igbo iDentity, right?" ChinenyeN: ---- No. It is not. Linguistics is.</quote> ChinenyeN is a respected and authoritative contributor of Igbo history and culture in NL. The Igbo ethnic group is a loose and fluidly connected clans and towns. Some of the Igbo cities claim Nri ancestry while others claim Aro. Their commonality is not ancestral and therefore something else in the culture provides a common bond. The conversation I quote above is in reference and it is quite clear here that Igbo language is the dot that connects and the defining criteria for who is and who is not Igbo. There are indeed settlements on the outlying areas of Igboland which by proximity the Igbos have attempted to claim as a member of their ethnic group and thus expand its territorial frontier Westward. These outlying groups have resisted the kidnap push and the land grab plot by the Igbos. Case in point, there are few settlements in North Aniocha local Govt whose language is Lukumi and they originated from Akure/Owo area of Yorubaland. Accurate findings from investigation and research on ground have indeed proven them to be a Yoruba people speaking Yoruba language and the rightful settlers of the North Aniocha land. Here is a caption from one of the reports "Investigations conducted revealed that Ugbodu is not the only community where Oluku mi is spoken in Aniocha North Local Government as the language is also spoken in Ukwu-Nzu (Eko Efun), Ubulubu and Ogodo" The people, their children and the rulers of Ugbodu and all these other settlements have indicated and identified themselves Yoruba. There should be no contention since this declaration is self-expressed by the people themselves. Therefore, in the agitation for the creation of Anioma state, of which Aniocha is a principal, Yoruba has a vested interest to be involved and participate in the drafts and procedures leading to the reality of an Anioma State for our children and the children of Igbo who will co-locate with them. |
