Eze,

Well, would you not like that people become knowledgable in your history?

Ogbuefi is the voice that shares that historical awareness. The problem is people in that position that are the voice of culture and history are very deeply rooted in the belief that they are speaking for the best culture around. So in their recital or narrative certain aspects are suppressed if they are humiliating and embellished if they are glorious. All native historians are guilty of that bias. History is not necessarily truth, its only an accountn, and since you might need it one day as a propaganda tool, proactive care is observed on how much need to be shared and what in it should be decorated for presentation.

You feel me?

History as a propaganda tool is very effective for beating down your rivals and winning against competition, particularly on issues of territorial disputes. What Ogbuefi is doing falls smack into that role.

He is not rewriting Igbo history, rather he is exploiting the lack of awareness and strong founding in others to retell who they are in an attempt to subdue their pride and spirit, thereby shaking loose their firm grip on their land. You cannot move or win over a strong person but by creating vulnerability and exploiting that crackline you can subdue him.

When you mention google, wikipedia, online resources as the spring for your claim, however false the claim maybe. . . . .people drop their resistance and back off from challenging your claim. Incrementally we all have unconsciously undergone social engineering and being conditioned to view these resources as a sacrament. By using wikipedia as source and he is therefore absolving himself by saying "if you don't believe at least you believe wikipedia".

Wikipedia is nothing but an open database. The word "open" is the keyword here. It reports to the world what you want it to say.

Anyway, you need to wake the fvck up Eze and develop a discriminating and shrewd mind instead of living a "follow-follow" life.

In my view, Ogbuefi is a propagandist, a mediocre one really! But I admire his style of wordsmithing and coherence.

I will be back later to adress his response to me from yesterday. I'm about to blow his Bini/Akure/Owo tale apart.
CultureRe: Delta Igbo, Bendel Igbo: What Does That Even Mean. by NegroNtns(m): 7:04am On Jul 21, 2011
Ogbuefi,

I read every letter of your response and I do have an answer on some of your perceived truths. I must admit its unusually a short take overall.

It is after 1am here and I must sleep. I have a response that will provoke and influence your thoughts about some realities which I suspect you have consciously suppressed or are just never been encountered.

I should share with you that I am a subscribed account owner in wikipedia. What does this mean? Well you have repeatedly labeled me ignorant. Authors in wikipedia produce materials that influence minds and hearts. They are written with an objetive, whatever that may be to the calling of the author. But humankind generally interat with relative truths and so what we term objective is in reality a fluid illusion. Your reference of wikipedia as the source of your materials and everything you are sharing on history are an illusion. Your oratory and wordsmithing is supposed to inject some credibility into it. That value is in of itself another illusion.

A stack pile of illusory truths and credibility that make no impression on me.

I can rewrite Lagos history and completely drop Bini out of the picture and reside it in wikipedia, with references and footnotes with such a finished finesse that makes it Very hard not to believe. But does that erase the Bini bloodline from the throne? NO! Relative truths and a world of illusion! Magic!!

We will talk some more. I want you to endure more time and get a bitter taste of my intelligence. You have seen my ignorance, you should see the other side of me. You will enjoy it!

Good night :-)

You all get it straight so I can get 1 true version.

Nri is aboriginal or not?

Nri descend from igala or not?

Nri kingdom still intact or ended?

which is authority over Igbo, Nri or Aro?
CultureRe: Yoruba In Anioma - A Revealed Truth! by NegroNtns(op): 3:03am On Jul 21, 2011
I know you are going by what you've been told but I can already tell there is something wrong the story.

You say Nri kingdom is an aboriginal people dating back to 1000AD right? When did the dynasty reign end or is it still intact?
CultureRe: Yoruba In Anioma - A Revealed Truth! by NegroNtns(op): 2:54am On Jul 21, 2011
Odumchi, I'm not sure you got that story of Nri aboriginality correct.

We are very very lucky that none of our neighbors is as ambitious as say, Sudan or Somalia. Those fvkers would have tried us so many times through the desert, the bushes, the forest, the sea. . . .anyway they get in hijack our government and do what they want.

Look at Boko Haram dey take our national army make yeye.

Our military force have no true combat fatigue, there is no external aggression knocking at their doors so it has become a lucrative business where there is everything to gain and nothing to lose. So the person u know probably has 100 or more people in his face looking for him to sponsor their access into the force. it will be hard telling odumchi to go see him with your reference.
PoliticsRe: What Is The Fastest Way To Rise In Rank In The Nigerian Army? by NegroNtns(m): 1:15am On Jul 21, 2011
Eze, it has nothing to do with region.

If you are cadet from East, there are cadets in there whose Eastern fathers are generals and look out for aspiring Eastern boys to sponsor for officer ranks

<quote>Why don't binicentric writers want to admit that neither Yorubas nor Bini ruled each other out of conquest or submission?<Quote>

Why are Yorubas ever ready to yield and concede arguments, even when truth is rightly on our side to stand on?

Its frustrating!! Every time we are faced with some slight confrontation we are quick to find compromise.

Its one thing to be peace loving but its stupid when we dash out and bow down to others less grand than the history we stand on.

There is nothing equal between Ife and Bini ok! Nothing!! A father is not equal to his son.

Ife gave birth to Bini Kingdom. Its a Yoruba custom that the King be buried and entombed with his fathers. We are the only people in sub saharan kingdoms that practiced this rites and that's because the custom came with them from, as I have said repeatedly, Afro Asia.

Early Bini kings were taken to and buried in Ife with their fathers. Following that same custom, early lagos kings were also taken to Bini for burial with their fathers.

Now if Ife is not father to Bini, then Bini is not father to Lagos.

For thousands of years the history has never been contradicted in its oral record, not in Ife, not in Bini. We all got degrees now and we are loosing our minds about who our fathers are and using white mans warped record to point wrong fingers at our ancestry.

If Bini find it uncomfortable that they are from Ife tell them to go exhume their kings and take back to their own kingdom for burial. Simple! Please Yoruba sons and daughters stop yielding your position, please!!

I know there are some strong and resolved ones but majority of us are unsure of their footing.

What the fvck!

Lol, its a killed plan without inclusion of lukumi.

To stop a moving train you change the flag and signal the engineer to come to abrupt stop or commit suicide.
