I hate it when people read an article and put in a one-liner. . . "interesting"; "brilliant"; 'I agree'. Anyway, hey ekt, should I let my tongue roll on this topic or should I restrain? I don't want to start off your post leading a rebellion squad. 'tell you what, I'll just roll, please tell me to shut the fvck up if Im messing things up. ![]() There is a story about behavioral training for circus elephants. You leash the back limb of a young elephant to a stump buried in the ground and limit his roaming distance to just few meters radius. You feed him there and attend to his needs there. As he grows you keep him tethered in that one spot, changing the weight bearing load of the rope to match his deleoping strength. By the time he is ready for circus entertainment he has grown super large and tremendously powerful that its almost impossible for you to control his movement and direction. The only advantage you have of managing his movements and subordination is the limitation of perimeter movement burnt into his memory over the years. So as you unleash him and tell him to go. . . . .he stays there and go round and round in circles, in the same pattern of movement he is used to doing since a baby. He is dispossed and robbed of his instinct to roam freely and follow his innate desire to graze all over the grassland. He struts around in circle. . . the precise order of movement you need in the tent circus, in front of the clowns and the wide eyed children and their parents. These parents have brought their free-spirited children to watch and be amused by a child who was robbed and disempowered of his own natural given instincts. Isnt that pitiful? Nigerians are robbed! Even when the condition makes it elementally possible for us to go home and begin a new culture now that we have a weak government and an ennabling separationist in North begging us to go away. . . . we remain immobile and dont know what to do or how to begin that new nation we cried so long to have. Its a pity!! |
Don't u knw it will scare foriengners away Just like pakistan, iraq samaliaIn your case, I want to respond to you. . . i know I need to respond to you, somehow I think it's best that I restrain my tongue. Something whispers in my ears that you are very young and yet to understand the gravity of your statement. . . much more to know what maturity is. Here is an age appropriate response for you: all the places you mentioned are zones of terror, including India where Keval is from. He had about a much higher chance of being consumed by terrorism in any one of those countries than he did in Nigeria. He propbably even left home to escape from terror. So he does not occupy a special place on this terror episode, neither does any of India, Pakistan, Iraq or Somalia. If any country need scaring away and blocked from coming to our country at the moment pakistan, iraq, somalia will be among the top 5 on the list. In our own country, we are foreigners unto one another, so if we have a desire to worship foreign brand, then let's worship one another as a brand. . . . . instead of a fvcking India! |
shyyt, I have two passports. . . . one in Yoruba name, the other in Kanuri name. They both are officialy recognized and registered legal documents. We have known for years that criminal iyanmiris are using documents illegaly registered in Yoruba names, since they now speak good Yoruba, to identify themselves as Yorubas in their sinful acts. You only discover the truth when the interrogating officer happens to be a true Yoruba, then clues are revealed on why chukwuma and nkem are now calling themselves babatuinde and iyabo. |
who cares about his story? is he more special than other Nigerians that died or what? may all their souls rest in peace. moderator please penalise this OP. ![]() |
Excellent observation Alhj! Excellent!! . . . going forward, will they use this lesson to apply to other confrontations? More than likely not, they are astill going to come out bragging and thumping empty chest first and later to fall humiliated. yanmiri always put the horse behind the cart. . . they never fail to do that. |
You seem to not understand the meaning of the word, "ultimatum" and seem to confuse it with "deadline". ![]() gave the Nigerian Army 48 hours ![]() |
MASSOB we dey await your BH stunts ![]() |
@Negro_ntns, so Gej has given up on BH or what exactly are you trying to say?. . . . come again, what was that? You tell me, has Gej given up on bh? ![]() |
Joel, what do you mean? the country is already split! In North, you have Boko and Sharia . . . and they told everyone to go where they belong. Are you waiting for a geographic line of division or something? That will come later, with a new flag, anthem, president, language, and everything else, . . soon as people resettle their papa land. |
It should not surprise anyone that they would avenge the death of the dude and his wife killed on Monday or Tuesday (whenever that was). Now it appears as Police target suspects in communities, people in those communities are having cold hearts towards the police. It's a long, long way to the end of this tunnell. . . . .Gej needs new shoes for the trek ahead. |
Youths overrun bombed north Nigeria police station By JON GAMBRELL Associated Press Latest News from Nigeria KANO, Nigeria (AP) -- Jubilant youths overran a blood-splattered police station on Wednesday after it was attacked by a radical Islamist sect, revealing a streak of popular discontent with a government that many say has failed them in Africa's most populous nation. Suspected members of Boko Haram surrounded the police station Tuesday night in Kano, ordered civilians to get off the street, began chanting "God is great" and threw homemade bombs into the station while spraying it with assault rifles, witnesses said. The attack followed coordinated assaults on Friday that killed at least 185 people in Kano, Nigeria's second-largest city. Associated Press journalists on Wednesday saw that youths had overrun the bombed-out station in the Sheka neighborhood of this sprawling city in northern Nigeria. Doors to jail cells stood open. Blood coated the floor of the local commander's private bathroom. Investigative files that had apparently been rifled through were spilled on the floors. Cheering youths outside waved an officer's uniform and jumped up and down on top of a burned-out police truck, with one wearing a police ballistic helmet, smiling. Others in the crowd said in the local Hausa language they would kill any police officer who returned. Some ominously asked journalists visiting the site if they were Christians. "We are not satisfied with what is happening now," said 26-year-old Abubakar Muawuya. Our leaders "have to call this Boko Haram and sit down with them." Kano state police spokesman Magaji Musa Majiya did not immediately respond to a request for comment Wednesday morning. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, though it followed the pattern of others carried out by Boko Haram, including the use of improvised explosives. The sect, whose name means "Western education is sacrilege" in Hausa, has claimed responsibility for Friday coordinated attacks in Kano. Boko Haram wants to implement strict Shariah law and avenge the deaths of Muslims in communal violence across Nigeria, a multiethnic nation of more than 160 million people split largely into a Christian south and Muslim north. On Wednesday, Niger's foreign minister said the sect received training and weapons from al-Qaida's North African wing. Mohamed Bazoum said in Mauritania's capital that members of Boko Haram have had training and received explosives from al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb. "There is no doubt the two organizations are connected and that they have the same objective of destabilizing our region," he said. Ministers from the West African region met Wednesday in Mauritania, and vowed to intensify their efforts against the groups. While Boko Haram has begun targeting Christians in the north, most of those killed Friday appeared to be Muslim, officials said. Nigeria's weak and corruption-riddled central government has been unable to stop Boko Haram's increasingly bloody attacks. Nigeria is an oil-rich nation but most Nigerians don't see the benefits and earn less than $2 a day. They have to contend with a rotting infrastructure like bad roads and a lack of electrical power, and seeming government indifference to the problems. The level of anger is high as democracy in a nation with a history of military rule has failed to markedly improve people's lives. When President Goodluck Jonathan on Jan. 1 ended a fuel subsidy that kept prices at the pump low, unions launched a nationwide strike and streets of cities filled with protesters, forcing the president to partially reinstate the subsidy. |
. . . "Negro glances at watch" ![]() |
First, The conference organizers had earlier secured the commitment of the administration that President Jonathan or his representative would be available to kick off the conference which was scheduled for January 30 to February 3, 2012. Until the government’s decision to pull out, a presidential aide, Akachukwu Nwankpo, had been acting as Jonathan’s liaison to the organizers.. . . .they postponed Ojukwu burial from Feb 3rd to an uknown future date so there will be no conflict with attendance at this event, and now this event is also postponed. . . ? Ezioku? ![]() A source close to Professor Achebe told SaharaReporters that the novelist had not planned to be physically present at the Nsukka but was going to send a message.. . .ooh!! Then why the hullaballoo ![]() At a time when boko has its tentacles out there fishing for trouble and upset at western education principles, you want representatives of western education ideologies to come to Nigeria for a conference in which the honoree himself has stayed away for self-preservation. Really?? Its a waste to pump money, oil money for that matter, and support into a conference in which the only people in attendance will be Uwazuruike and his MASSOB folks, and then they turn literary conference into Biafran rally, . . . Kwenu! |
OP, Any communication capabilities? How about rapid defense and deployment systems? Whats your email? |
….Army denies killing MASSOB members |
Quote from: waxrider on Yesterday at 12:55:02 PMwaxrider, I was very impressed with what you wrote. I don't use other people post to make a point but I used yours tonight. I am proud of you and I am proud we share blood. Oodua a gbe wa! Aiye aye wa!! Aiye a nife wa!!! |
whats status on this body confiscation and the MASSOB ultimatum? Are the people and their dead bodies released yet? If it hasnt happened then it could only mean one of three things: 1. Gej, the CiC has heard about it and has no interest intervening to protect MASSOB. 2. Nigeria has two army commands - one under the command of Gej (this will be the one sent to Lagos); the other is commanded by another entity and this MASSOB kidnap is under their direction and Gej has no power to intervene. 3. Gej, the CiC has not heard about the issue and doesnt know to intervene. |
Wow, what a mouthful!! Ahmed Tinubu is alive, thank God! He was in some meetings two weeks ago with other political groups. He was in Ibadan last week in a political strategy meeting. He will continue this week in more political meetings. I hope this answered the question. ![]() |
Ali Mungono should be arrested immediately and placed under arrestyou arrest my father in law i bury a double-edged dagger in you! go find somebody else to arrest, go arrest Gej or Ringim. . . .rascal!! |
. . . thats a lot of explosive power in those three cans. . . not knowing how many more may be packed into the boot of this car. Definitely intended to bring a structural building to the ground. Good job!! |
nice attempt, try harderDude. . . all that political bravado you all got in East has no application here in West. We are politically superior to you. You see how you foolishly locked yourself into a dead corner. I want you to find your way out of the lock in so I will give you another question. How many times since becoming President has MEND been harassed, arrested, locked up or shot and killed like MASSOB has been? |
The president is standing firm tearing down his enemies one by oneIs MASSOB one of these enemies? The Army has continously harassed MASSOB militants, arrested them and recently killed and kept bodies of three of them following a raid at a peaceful meeting. The same Army under the leadership of Gej. I thought the SS have coalition with SE, why the attack on MASSOB? |
Abagworo, mehn. . .what a fvcking low life! where is the moderator? LOCK THIS DAYAM POST UP. What a slowpoke!! You piss me off, you jackass, what an irresponsible and uninformed idea. |
First, police arrested and failed to release their members and so boko attacked and killed them Second, police and army raided and killed who they believe is a boko member and his pregnant wife. Third, boko will use this incident as a flammable sentiment to carry out further attack in Kano. . . . where does it end? |
