No quite cos I was denied both uk and us multiple times and my sissy inlaw advised me to travel to dubai. I went like 4 times within 3 months came back n returned to us embassy d vo kept looking at d stamps before saying yes to me at last! So she might just be lucky.

The truth is that those who would talk will still talk, even after giving birth here on Nigeria. The earlier we stopped caring about what people say , the better for us. Wishing you the very best in this journey.

My dear this is my story !! I didn't have mine too cos I wanted to prove to people dat I gave birth .. Costly mistake I made and I regret it so much!!

Hullo everyone. Congratulations to all new mamas and papas, successful Interviews and POEs. Pls, I have a question to clarify,...Initial plan was to go to Houston,( though it has not really changed) but hubby got a friend in Dallas and now want me to change (but the fear of Oyinbo for POE na the beggining of tinkin for me o) cos of accommodation. Now, at my interview I gave correspondence from Houston. So

1. How do I change to Dallas and not have issues with CBP??
2. And won't this affect my going back?
3. Must I get appointment from Dallas/Houston (cos I've not booked any appointment in Houston) for POE's sake??
Lastly, gurus that are going/presently/just birthed in Dallas, which hospital did you use/ using? I've searched but didn't get a convincing result. Hubby's friend said Medical Centre Arlington, but didn't want to bank on that to avoid stories that touch the Pocket. Pls help a sister O, as time don dey waka.

Note: I STILL DEY FIND CHEAP FLIGHT O! In case you know where dem waka go

The last line seems to be the greatest. My in law in Richmomd now used IAH in October, landed about 4pm and she and other moms" from Africa were kept waiting for 6 whole hours without being attended to. Even when she requested for water the ladies were very rude. She tried forming labor, dey didn't even call a doctor only saying they weren't the ones that impregnated her. But at the end of the night, she left the airport after 10 hours and her part luck was she got a man to do the interview. So I guess she just has to be bold and not show fear be firm and if she can, try and get a man to do the interview. Am confident your unborn will bring you luck. And your wifes' won't be like this.

Wow that is so not cool!! I've not travelled myself o but will soon travel and I pray that "Angel Gabriel " will be waiting for me at POE lol!! My friend got into Maryland some days back n had a horrible experience after paying her docs fees n had cash on her !!! These guys don't want us to flourish but Oluwa is involved!! My dear I know oh. Didn't come to the decision lightly coz all my initial research confirms why you said. But Iv realize that man proposes but na God get d final say.
The 1st time I went in Atl, was given a max possible bill of 4k for hospital but ended up paying 9k plus for only me oh! Minus doctor, epi etc. The only jara was that I was given bp meds and spent 3 days instead of 2. It was still vaginal delivery. And the bill sef na untop beg. They initially billed me 16k plus!

My point being one can make plans but if God doesn't make d way straight OYO shall be your case. Since from all under indicators Maryland ticks the bill, il spend time on my knees and leave the final bill to God. Il def share how it goes thou.

Why not use the hospital in Virginia ( Innova Alexandria) not too sure about the spelling!! Like she said it is not that far away from MD and u get to go there on delivery , u might be lucky too if d OBGYN office is in Maryland. With this dollar rate o one have to be extra careful o hmmm!! I have a letter from my Obstetrician stating that she's my doctor. I also have several email correspondence with her office. I however do not have a pediatrician yet. Do I need to get a letter from a pediatrician too for POE?

See. The issue is really not her purpose for travel rather ties. Its always more difficult (but not impossible ) to convince a vo with no travel history.
She has to fill her form properly. In spite. Of the affidavit, she has to include the former name in the column for any name answered before in the ds160.
Since her true purpose of travel is to assist u, I believe she should state that as her reason for travel and maybe plus sightseeing and shopping. In which case she can use your same booking

After a lot of consideration and family talk iv decided im going to Maryland for my 2nd missionary journey (March 2016 Mum).

I know the place is expensive but Im really trusting God that I will find a surprisingly affordable option. So... I'm looking for a partner who is going around the same time so we can work together. No be only Nef and Modath waka come They be making us feel jealous tinz

Seriously though if there's any1 that has made up their mind to go to Maryland early next year, let's research together and prove that where there is a will there's a way.
Also, if u recently went please share your experience.... Not much on that zone this year on the thread. Thanks people and happy new month. Better is the end of a thing than its beginning so get ready for a mind blowing harvest this December. Muah!!!

I'm going to Maryland for a few but won't be having my LO there o as I no chop that kain liver loll! Will be off to Houston after chilling a bit there !! Good luck in finding cheap hospital tho!

LadyG Biko nwanne I trailed u to this thread!! I have a lot of kweshions to ask.. My elder sis want to apply for visit visa to come join me n help me with my lo when I give birth but she has virgin passport n zero travel history ... She works in one land rig with an oil producing company n she will be due to go on leave in Jan n she just started working there for a year!
Now my qts is ; should she apply dat she is going on vacay n do a reservation with a Newyork hotel cos she plans to visit there too or should she use d accommodation addy that I will be staying in d Us at d time of her interview?? D name she is working at her place of work with is diff from her bank statements n bank details tho she has a affidavit to back up her change of name before she got d job. Pls help me advise her n she is single n early 30s too!! Thanks n God bless
